That's a clear testament to how amazing their food is. The servings are huge, and I often find myself taking some home, which is always a bonus. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One of my favorite memories is when I went with my granddaughter. She was just five and brought her baby doll along. The staff member who seated us was so thoughtful and brought over a high chair for the doll. It made my granddaughter's day and left a great impression on me. It's these little touches that make a place special. We visited for breakfast around 8:30 am on a busy Saturday. Even though it was bustling, the wait was reasonable, and we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The food was delicious and came in generous portions, reminiscent of those classic family-owned breakfast spots that are hard to find these days. It truly felt like a home-cooked meal. While the prices have gone up a bit, they remain reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. Vic's Daily Cafe is a fantastic place to enjoy a hearty meal. I was so impressed that I went back the following day. Just make sure you arrive with a big appetite and try to get there early to beat the rush!

Our first time at The Shop Breakfast and Lunch in Albuquerque was a delightful experience. The food was excellent, with portions large enough to satisfy two people. We ordered the Americana, Eggs Benny, and French toast. The toast paired perfectly with butter and homemade jam, and the crispy, buttery potatoes were a treat. The Eggs Benny had pork cooked to perfection, reminiscent of Indian beef curry, while the French toast was topped with a terrific spread and fresh fruits. We also enjoyed the freshly squeezed OJ and appreciated the ample parking. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like coffee not being as strong as I prefer, a slightly stuffy indoor atmosphere, and shaky tables, the overall experience was positive. Remember that everything is self-serve, and while the food might be on the pricier side, it's absolutely worth it. The chicken sandwich stood out as one of the best in town, with house-made pickles and an outstanding sauce. Following their socials for daily specials is a great idea—I was glad I did! In an update from 7.27, the food continues to impress. I tried the Biscuits & Chorizo Gravy, which was a 10/10, especially once you break the poached egg over the biscuits. The breakfast burrito and the chorizo and egg sandwich also come highly recommended. While it might be hot inside during summer, the quality and generous portions make up for it. The Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've had, and the staff, though busy, were helpful. This place truly is a hidden gem in Albuquerque, and I'm looking forward to returning.

The service was top-notch, from the friendly hostess to the attentive servers and even the manager who checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I was impressed with the kid-friendly menu, which made dining with little ones easy. Despite the place being extremely packed on a Saturday, the wait to be seated was minimal, and the food arrived quickly. The portion sizes were huge, living up to their motto, "The bigger the better." Their in-house made hash browns were fantastic and a highlight of the meal. I appreciated the hustle of the staff, especially Barbara, who stood out with her excellent service. It's clear how good the food is by how busy they were, but it was definitely worth any wait. Although I loved everything, my over medium eggs were a bit too wet for my liking, but it wasn't a big deal. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be stopping by again. The store was nice, and although there was a bit of a wait for our simple plates once, the overall experience was wonderful. Just a small hiccup with the sausage order, but that's minor compared to the great time we had. Can't wait to return!

I visited Jimmy's Cafe On Jefferson for breakfast with my friend around 11 am on a bustling Saturday morning. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were able to order our drinks and food after a brief wait. The place seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd, but the food more than made up for it, and the service was solid. I ordered the ultimate skillet with a regular coffee, and it was outstanding! The mix of meats, vegetables, eggs, and hashbrowns was perfectly portioned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is a charming mix of photos and relics from the past, which gives the place a unique vibe. We did have to wait over ten minutes to receive our checks after finishing our meals, but that was the only real downside. Evelin, our server, was super friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a good experience. I also tried the creamy green chile chicken soup, which was phenomenal, and the green chile pastrami gluten-free half sandwich was smoky and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. My only minor gripe was that the bacon was cooked slightly less than I prefer, but everything else tasted great, and the portions were generous. This was my second visit to Jimmy's, having been there years ago, and it was just as great this time around. We had breakfast at Central Grill and Coffee House and loved it! We ordered burritos and the Going Banana French Toast with a poached egg, and both were delicious, especially the burritos. The presentation was spot on. The location is convenient, close to the old church in Albuquerque. The owner, who also works as the cashier, was incredibly accommodating, which added to the charm of the place. The buzz around this spot was justified, and although we did have a long wait, we understood it was Balloon Fiesta weekend. The food came out fairly quick considering how busy they were. The standout was the customer service; everyone was friendly and attentive. George, who I assume is the owner, even came out and chatted with us about New Mexico and the festival, offering tips and local insights. You must try the blueberry pancakes—they’re rated #1 in the city and #6 in the country on Yelp, and for good reason! They were some of the best I’ve ever had. George also shared some Carne Adovada with us, and it was fantastic. His passion for the restaurant is clear, and it’s rare to see such a hands-on owner these days. I highly recommend stopping by Central Grill and Coffee House. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome, tasty food, and maybe even a few of George’s corny jokes. Don’t miss this spot if you're in the area!

Although a minor issue arose with one of our plates arriving cold, the team quickly rectified it by bringing out a fresh, hot replacement. The Hawaii French toast was a standout, and the prices were reasonable. The cafe itself is a unique spot, adorned with interesting artwork from local artists available for purchase. While the matcha latte wasn't the best I've had, the overall experience was positive. The cafe has a cute and funky vibe, with bright and colorful rooms near the main entrance and additional seating downstairs, although the decor is a bit darker there. There's also a back patio, but it wasn't very well-kept during my visit. The front porch seating, however, was pleasant. It's more of a breakfast place than a chill cafe, which was a bit of a surprise, but I would still recommend it for breakfast, and I look forward to trying more of their coffees and toasts in the future. Our visit was great, especially considering it was during the balloon fiesta with no wait time and friendly staff. We enjoyed the little lavender latte, the burque melt, and the Hawaiian toast. I enjoyed the Veggie Skillet with Chicken, although I found the Red Chile could have been more flavorful. My mom tried the Bowl of Chile, and it was decent, while my grandfather's Chimichanga was impressive with its huge portions. Great place! The retro atmosphere is amazing, and the food is delicious in the New Mexican style. The portions are generous and well served, with fair prices. The coffee is OK, but the desserts are worth a try, especially since you can get a 10% discount if you order them first. This location is part of a local chain, and it served up the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. I wouldn’t have thought to pair fluffy grits with carne adovada, but it was incredibly satisfying. My companion ordered the southwest bowl with grilled veggies and turkey sausage. It might not sound exciting, but we kept passing the plates back and forth, undecided on which was better. I ordered the pickle mary but modified it with plain tomato juice to control the pepper in the pre-mix version. We also got an Edinburgh Morning Brew, which is coffee cream and Drambuie. You should try it sometime—after all, if it’s not Scottish… We left completely satisfied and headed happily to Isotopes Park for the rest of a perfect day! The bill came to $50, and the service was patient and accommodating. The atmosphere and Andrea’s service made our first-time experience amazing! The garden omelette was good, and the potatoes on the side were delicious. I will definitely come again! ❤️❤️❤️

Though the service can be a bit on the slower side, it's understandable considering how bustling the place can get. Regardless, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. While the prices are on the higher end, the freshness and quality make it worth the splurge. And don't miss out on the cinnamon rolls – they are fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. First time here and they did not disappoint! Absolutely loved the vibes and the food was good. My favorites were the tomato soup, French fries, and the sugar-free cheesecake. The sweet staff took care of our large party, and OMG the food! I had the gnocchi, and then the seasonal cheesecake - chili pumpkin with chocolate frosting. Just the barest hint of chili - didn’t hardly taste it, but left a nice warm feeling afterward, like ginger but a different flavor profile. If I’m ever in this neck of the woods again, this place is on my list of places to eat. Taco Tuesday was a treat! I had both the chicken and shredded beef tacos. Both had excellent flavor, were tender, and had a nice crunch from the cabbage. I'm glad I ordered the crema on the side, didn't love it, but that's a me thing. Range Cafe is a great spot in Northern Albuquerque, just a few miles off I-25. The restaurant has a lot of safe parking, and there's even a huge overflow parking lot within walking distance for the largest vehicles, like 18 wheelers. There’s practically no wait regardless of the line. The wait staff is attentive, professional, and courteous. The variety of entrees and desserts is impressive. I'd recommend the chili relleno because it’s an extremely unique and tasty entree. As for dessert, good luck picking just one. They offer a broad selection, and the Key Lime Pie will definitely not disappoint.

Black Mesa Coffee Co in Terminal A at Albuquerque Airport is a great spot for breakfast. The caramel latte was good and reasonably priced compared to Starbucks. They have a wide selection of drinks and food, including affordable Monster energy drinks. The staff was attentive, professional, and courteous. Even with a long line, I was in and out within 5 minutes, which was impressive. The bacon breakfast croissant had good flavor, and the croissant was nice and flaky. While it wasn't anything extraordinary, it was solid for airport food, and I would stop here again. The only downside was the cost, with prices over $14, which felt steep even for an airport. I also tried the iced white chocolate mocha. It was good—no complaints, though nothing stood out as spectacular. Overall, the service was great, and the coffee hit the spot. If you find yourself in the Albuquerque airport, stopping by Black Mesa Coffee Co is a must.
