The Western Omelet with cheese was spot on, packed with fillings and nicely cheesy, making for a great portion. The hash browns, though, fell a bit flat; they could use a bit more crispiness and salt. But the real standout was Frank's famous French Toast. With a crisp exterior and a light, doughy center, it was cooked to perfection and easily the best french toast I've had in Ann Arbor. Being lucky enough to live next door to this Ann Arbor institution, I've discovered their breakfast dishes are excellent, and their Philly Cheesesteak at lunch is a must-try. Portions are generous, and the staff is efficient and polite. Here's a little insider tip: keep an eye out for the Greek lemon egg drop soup on the menu—it's absolutely delicious. Frank's is a beautiful diner with a fantastic staff, where hardworking folks serve up great food at a good value. The omelet was amazing, and my family loved the Philly.
