Westy's Cafe

I had a fantastic breakfast at Westy's Cafe in Arvada. Having driven in from Wisconsin for an event, I was on the hunt for a good breakfast, and Westy's did not disappoint. The food was fairly priced and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere gave me that nostalgic feeling of an old American movie diner where everyone knows each other's names and you're treated like family. The staff was extremely welcoming and energetic, making sure everything was prompt and to my liking. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with a side of biscuits, and everything was great. The chicken fried steak and gravy were particularly good, and while the biscuits were commercial, the potatoes were tasty if you don't mind them not being crisp. My dining partner also enjoyed the meal, noting the bacon and coffee were very good. The service was excellent, and the chili cheese hash browns were a standout. This little gem is clearly a local favorite, and I can see why. I highly recommend stopping by for a wholesome meal that gives great value for your money. Westy's Cafe has easily become one of my new favorite places to eat, and I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.
House of Js Coffee

House of J's Coffee is truly a gem tucked away in a business plaza in Arvada. I've lived nearby for years but only started visiting recently, and I'm so glad I did! The coffee is delicious, and the muffins are pretty great too. The staff is incredible—always smiling, welcoming, and ready for a chat, even if I’m one of their first customers at 6:30 AM. They remember my order, which is both impressive and a bit dangerous because I just keep coming back! Their coconut cabana tea is life-changing, and while I wish they had more sugar-free syrup options, I understand the cost can be a factor. House of J's has become my go-to spot for coffee, whether I'm working or relaxing on a Saturday morning. The rotating seasonal menu is always top-notch, with standouts like the wildflower latte, huckleberry cold brew, and blueberry pie latte. They nail the balance of syrup to coffee, so the flavors shine without being overly sweet. Even if you aren’t gluten-free, I recommend the chocolate zucchini bread. It’s my favorite treat alongside their must-try Bonfire Burrito. The atmosphere is perfect, with varied seating options that cater to any coffee shop occasion. Overall, House of J’s offers excellent food, service, and ambiance. It's my favorite spot to grab a bite after a workout, with kind and helpful staff and consistently delightful drink specials.

Sweet Bloom Coffee - Arvada

Sweet Bloom Coffee in Arvada is a fantastic spot for breakfast and coffee. I absolutely love their Garden Party iced coffee; it's refreshing with rhubarb bitters and strawberry syrup, making it a standout choice. The customer service is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, which was a huge relief for me with my new type 1 diabetes diagnosis. They helped me find something safe for my blood sugar without any hassle. I’m thrilled to find a place that serves specialty pour over coffee, which is always a treat. The coffee is excellent, and the space is inviting. However, I wish they offered a discount for black drip coffee refills since $4+ per 12oz cup adds up quickly. Also, it’s a bit disappointing that they stop serving drip coffee at 12pm. Overall, the coffee and service make it worth a visit.

Red Silo Coffee Roasters

Thank you, Red Silo! My visit this morning was fantastic. The staff was kind and welcoming, and they nailed my drink. They even gave my dog, Miss Pumpkin, a treat! It's always worth the trip here, but today felt extra special. I appreciate how dog-friendly you are and how you consistently serve a delicious americano. This is my favorite coffee shop, and after today's experience, you've earned my loyalty. I bought something with a niche taste, not realizing it at first, and they kindly allowed me to exchange it for something else. That small gesture meant a lot and saved me from wasting both the item and my money. Acts like this are rare and definitely added to the already stellar experience. This is where I take guests for coffee and buy my beans for daily brews. The Mexico-Decaf is highly recommended. It might take a minute to find the place if your GPS is off, but it's worth it. The space is gorgeous, with a surprisingly large upstairs area. The coffee is top-notch, and everything is baked in-house. I was lucky to grab the last carrot buckwheat cake, and it was delicious! Red Silo offers awesome service, some parking, and a great vibe. Since moving to Arvada in February, I've yet to find another spot that matches the coffee, atmosphere, and service here. Whether you're grabbing something to go, working, or just relaxing, this is the best spot around!
Bread Winner's Cafe

As soon as I walked into Bread Winner's Cafe for the first time, I was welcomed by a fantastic, friendly staff. I ordered the veggie omelet, and it was delightful—the veggies were cooked just right, not soggy at all. The grande mimosa was also great; I could really taste the champagne, which I appreciated. Chelsea, our server, was the absolute best, answering all my questions with a smile. JP, another server, kept us entertained with his humor. The standout dishes were the green apple sangria, blueberry lemon pancakes, and the Fajita Benedict. We sat outside on a shaded porch, which made the hot day comfortable. The restaurant turned out to be much bigger inside than it looked from the outside, with a wonderful atmosphere and clean surroundings. We shared our food, and while I loved most of the items, some weren't my favorite. However, with so many menu choices, I'm excited to return and try more. The blueberry pancakes with lemon topping are still on my mind, and I'll definitely be back. On a return visit, I indulged in a turkey sandwich with fries—the sandwich was generously sized, and the fries were tasty. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in Arvada!
La Dolce Vita

A friend recommended La Dolce Vita for breakfast, and I had a delightful experience. The moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The atmosphere is cozy, with people happily chatting. The owner noticed I was craving a latte and made a perfect brown sugar oat milk latte. They roast their own coffee, ensuring quality. All the baked goods looked delicious, and I've heard the entire menu is awesome. My husband and I stopped by on our way to church, and the staff was so welcoming and kind. We enjoyed our pastries; my husband claimed their warm cinnamon roll might be the best he's ever had, which says a lot because he's had quite a few! One of the owners made me a warm cranberry apple cider drink that was truly satisfying. He mentioned it had won an award, and I totally believe it—I couldn't stop sipping! I’m looking forward to another Sunday visit to this quaint little café. They offer both good food and good service, and I definitely recommend giving them a try.
The Bluegrass Lounge - Olde Town

Jonise Bertelsen
I stumbled across The Bluegrass Lounge in Olde Town Arvada while looking for a breakfast spot, and I’m so glad I did. Arriving at around 10 am, the place was quite packed, mostly with people engaged in remote work and meetings. The WiFi was reliable, which was great for getting a bit of work done. I thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast sandwich along with a decent cup of coffee. Sitting at the communal table, I had a nice chat with some fellow patrons, which added to the friendly vibe. The ordering process is straightforward: you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The atmosphere is lively, and though not exactly the spot for a quiet or romantic meal, it’s fun and dynamic, especially when they have live music. Scotty, who seems to own Thursday nights, is a talented performer and made the evening enjoyable. As for the food, it was top-notch. The Sausage Sammie was fantastic, and the hot chocolate was good too. We also tried the spinach and artichoke dip, which had a delicious Italian twist with marinara and crispy melted cheese. I highly recommend their house-made blue cheese dressing on the side salad—it’s creamy and flavorful. The Clark County Club sandwich was spot-on with fresh veggies and generous dijonaise, while the Funny Cide pizza had a perfectly crispy crust with a BBQ base that hit the spot. Though there’s room for improvement, like cleaner outdoor seating and perhaps adding table service on the back patio, this place is still a gem. It’s a bit cramped inside, but that’s a minor issue compared to the overall experience. In my book, it’s a solid 9/10 and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Olde Town Arvada!

The Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge is a super fun neighborhood spot with excellent food, drinks, ambiance, and company. I had a fantastic time enjoying bottomless mimosas with friends during brunch. Our server, Cat, was incredibly attentive and made sure we were always taken care of. The lively and fun atmosphere made it the perfect place for a brunch outing. Tucked into a strip mall, this gem offers great drinks and exceptional service. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I do my grocery pickup nearby. The Bavarian Pretzel and Italian Pinwheel apps are truly delightful, and they happily make delicious mocktails for those who don't drink. It's my go-to neighborhood place for lunch or dinner, whether after a hike, hanging with friends, or catching some live music. The cocktail selection is great, and they have good brews on tap. Their pizzas, sandwiches, and salads are consistently tasty, and the service is reliable. With indoor and outdoor seating and reasonable prices, it's a spot worth checking out. Plus, the Birthday club is excellent.

Had an amazing breakfast at Home Cookin Cafe in Arvada! I visited with my sister on a Saturday morning, and to our surprise, there was no wait. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly welcoming right from the moment we walked in. Our waitress, Tracy, was especially kind and fun, even showing me a way to save a couple of bucks on my meal. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. We enjoyed hefty portions made with fresh ingredients and some seriously fluffy pancakes. The entire experience was even better with the coffee server who kept our cups full and ensured we were happy throughout our meal. The atmosphere was cozy, and everyone around us seemed to be in great spirits, enjoying their time there. This place is a real gem with reasonable prices, and it feels like an absolute gold mine. From past visits, I can vouch for their lunch menu too, with the Reuben sandwich and bacon burger standing out as flavorful favorites. I'm already looking forward to coming back for another excellent brunch experience. Thanks for the great service and delicious food, Home Cookin Cafe!
Appleridge Cafe

My visit to Appleridge Cafe for breakfast was a delightful experience. I ordered the Mexican skillet, and although it initially came out cold with the eggs not scrambled, the waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive. She immediately offered to have it redone, ensuring the eggs were scrambled, the food was hot, and the green chili was served on the side as I requested. While I waited, she brought me a pumpkin muffin, which was incredibly tasty. The second attempt at the skillet was perfect, and to my surprise, there was no charge. The waitress truly made my visit memorable, and her exceptional service deserves recognition. In addition to the Mexican skillet, we tried the biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak. While the gravy had a strong pepper flavor that wasn't to our liking, the bacon served with it was amazing. Despite a few hiccups, like getting burnt toast, the waitress promptly addressed the issue. The service was good overall, though there was a minor mix-up with the order sequence. While the tipping process was a bit unusual, the staff's friendliness and dedication to customer service were evident. Overall, Appleridge Cafe won me over with their excellent food, particularly the breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll, and the attentive service we received. It's a diner I can count on for a satisfying breakfast, especially when crisp, dry bacon is on the menu.

Great Harvest Bakery Cafe in Arvada is a delightful spot for breakfast and lunch. The ambiance is charming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The Yardbird Salad and Loaded Potato soup I ordered were both incredibly tasty, showcasing the freshness and quality of their ingredients. While the wait time for food can be a bit long due to their focus on quality and the volume of bakery orders, it's important to remember that this isn't a fast-food chain. The food here is made with real care and attention, which is something I truly appreciate. Patience is key, but the delicious outcome is well worth it. The customer service here is outstanding. Veronica, in particular, was attentive to our dietary needs and ensured our order was perfect. She even offered free samples of their baked goods while we waited, which added a nice touch to the experience. Great Harvest is the perfect alternative to chain cafes. They offer a wide range of baked goods, sandwiches, and a full breakfast and lunch menu. I'm particularly fond of their black coffee and blueberry scones. Additionally, they host community events, which are always filled with great food and are worth checking out. Overall, I highly recommend Great Harvest for anyone looking for delicious, fresh meals made with care. You'll leave satisfied and eager to return.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

This Snooze location in Arvada is hands down one of the best I've been to. The food is consistently amazing, but what really makes this spot shine is the exceptional service and quick delivery of food to the table. Pancakes here are a must-try. They're light, fluffy, and full of creativity. Definitely worth the trip just for those! Make sure to arrive early to avoid a long wait, but if there is one, they've got some fun backyard games to keep you entertained. The app is handy for getting on the list before you arrive. The strawberry shortcake pancake is a favorite, and their unique Yellowbird sauces are a great twist from the usual spicy ones. I also enjoyed a well-made Bloody Mary. The server was attentive and despite the crowd, the restrooms were clean. We had a lovely experience when our waitress surprised us with a complimentary pineapple pancake since it was our first visit. It added a special touch to our meal. The cozy interior, combined with great food and service, makes Snooze a wonderful breakfast spot. I had the Spuds Deluxe with bacon, ham, and onions, paired with a cinnamon roll pancake. Both dishes were flavorful, with perfectly cooked eggs and delightful portion sizes. Whether you're looking for a date spot or a place to gather with family and friends, Snooze in Arvada is an excellent choice.
Morning Story - Arvada

For my birthday breakfast, we chose Morning Story in Arvada, and it turned out to be a delightful spot with a welcoming vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Despite being quite crowded, which might have affected the service slightly, our experience was still enjoyable. The server, although a bit rushed, was friendly and accommodating. I tried the breakfast nachos and the chicken and waffles. The nachos were decent, but the chicken and waffles stood out for their simplicity, featuring a waffle with a couple of chicken strips, which was surprisingly satisfying. The mimosa flight added a nice touch to the meal. One pleasant surprise was that the cinnamon roll was on the house, as it was our first visit. While it was a bit hard on the bottom, the gesture was appreciated. The French toast was a highlight, enjoyed by both myself and my grandson, although he did find some grapes that were not quite fresh. Overall, Morning Story remains a reliable brunch spot with good food at reasonable prices. Their oatmeal with fruit and brown sugar is quite nice. I highly recommend trying The Trilogy; it's a beautiful meal that really stands out.

Le Peep® 88th & Wadsworth in Arvada is a great little breakfast spot. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic, and the peasant potatoes hit the spot. My son ordered the hash browns, which looked even better, so I'll have to try those next time. I grabbed a caramel macchiato to go, which was also quite good. My son particularly enjoyed his chocolate milk, mentioning it was especially good. The breakfast experience was excellent, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. We got quick and friendly service from the whole team, from the waitstaff to the busser and cashier. The food was fresh and delicious, and sitting outside was a nice option, even if the noise from nearby cars and motorcycles was a bit of a distraction. The Lobster Benedict was a standout dish. I'm not usually a fan of hashbrowns, but these were cooked perfectly—not dried out at all. While the ambience might not be everyone's cup of tea, the food more than makes up for it. It's definitely worth visiting for a great breakfast experience.

This place is amazing! The food is reasonably priced, and the pancakes are massive! Even though it's a chain, I really enjoyed my experience here. Delicious food all around! Five of us ordered the banana nut Brian pancakes, and they were huge and delicious. I like this place. It's tasty and easy to come into. I'll be back. My wife and I took her aunt and uncle here for breakfast. Love the selection, service, and food.

We swung by Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Arvada for breakfast, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing morning. The staff was friendly and attentive, making it a pleasant visit from start to finish. We had a couple of their breakfast options and each dish was both fresh and delicious. The pastries were the highlight, especially the cinnamon roll, which was absolutely worth the visit. It had that perfect blend of sweetness and spice, making it a treat to start the day with. The cafe was clean and had a peaceful vibe, despite a few small groups meeting up, which added to the community feel. It reminded me of the charming bakery-cafes from back in the day. Overall, Kneaders in Arvada provides a warm and welcoming spot for breakfast with tasty food and a friendly staff. It's a great place to stop by when you're in the area.
