Egg Harbor Cafe is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Sandy Springs. I visited on a Saturday morning and had the San Antonio Skillet with the Banana Bread French Toast, and both were amazing. The skillet had a perfect amount of spice, which paired beautifully with the sweetness of the French toast. It was a great combo that I thoroughly enjoyed. Despite being busy, I was seated quickly, which is a testament to how well they manage the crowd drawn in by their delicious food. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with cozy decor and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was a standout for me, striking a delightful balance between sweet and savory flavors. Their menu is extensive, offering unique dishes like the Lobster Scrambler and Farmer's Market Benedict, perfect for brunch lovers looking for something special. I also appreciated their gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it accessible for everyone's dietary needs. Located right off Roswell Road, just off the 285 exit ramp, Egg Harbor Cafe is a comfortable spot with a great selection of breakfast food options. It's an excellent place for breakfast or lunch, whether you're meeting someone or just grabbing a meal solo. The coffee is excellent, and the service is reliable. DAMN!!!! They got it right! Unity Restaurant delivers down home southern cooking at its best. The staff and atmosphere are incredibly welcoming. I ordered grits with gravy, chicken wings, a waffle, and sweet tea, and everything was spot on. If you're craving authentic southern cooking, this is the place to be. It's an old school Soul Food Kitchen with a serving counter with stools and a few booths, open for breakfast from Tuesday to Saturday. My meal included pork chops with cheesy eggs, grits, and a homemade biscuit, and it was incredible. The cook is a maestro on the six-burner stove, and the food is seasoned perfectly and served hot. My favorite dish is the salmon plate with cheese eggs, cheese grits, and homemade biscuits. I often drive from the airport area just to enjoy a plate from them! I highly recommend giving them a try. Tell them Red sent you, lol. You won't be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back and spread the word!

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic! I went to Egg Harbor Cafe for brunch with my husband and my gluten-free, diabetic mother-in-law on a Sunday morning, and I'd definitely go back. The service was fast and super friendly. The host even offered a gluten-free menu, which thrilled my mother-in-law as she declared it the best she's ever seen. She loved the gluten-free cinnamon roll she ordered. The atmosphere is adorable, comfortable, and family-friendly, with the restaurant offering various seating options, including a patio where we chose to sit. Our server, Aaron, was excellent—attentive and fun. The coffee menu was extensive, and I enjoyed the iced brown sugar-infused oat milk latte. My husband was pleased with his traditional breakfast, while I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese grits. The food was plentiful and of very good quality for the price, especially compared to other breakfast spots in the area. The banana bread French toast is a definite must-have. My only critique would be the $10 mimosas, which seemed a bit small for the price, although they tasted amazing. The crowd seemed a bit more dressed up than we were, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, Egg Harbor Cafe was an awesome find, and I will definitely return when I'm around Buckhead again.

My family and I decided to try out Atlanta Breakfast Club after a friend's recommendation and seeing it on YouTube. Despite the challenge of finding street parking, we managed to snag one of the four spots right in front – a lucky break! The place was bustling, but they got us seated pretty quickly, and our server was attentive and friendly. The food was the highlight. We sampled a range of dishes, including the breakfast tacos with chicken and bacon, which were delicious. The peach cobbler French toast was perfectly moist, with peaches and cinnamon flavors that complemented each other nicely. The chicken and waffles were standout, with juicy fried chicken and a crispy herb-flavored breading. However, the waffles were slightly dry. A side of grits impressed me with its buttery, perfectly salted taste – a real measure of a good breakfast spot. We also tried the lemonade, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. The portions were generous, so come hungry. The food came out quickly despite the crowd, and the staff was efficient in clearing plates. However, it's quite loud, which might not be for everyone. While the experience was overall great, the price did feel steep. Our meal, including a cinnamon roll, coffee, and chocolate milk, totaled $68 before the tip. The drinks, especially, were on the pricier side at $7 a bottle. The location across from the Aquarium is convenient, making it a good spot if you're nearby. However, it might be skippable if it’s out of your way. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars mainly due to the price and the dry waffles. But I'd definitely recommend it and would visit again, perhaps skipping the sides to manage the cost.

During a visit to Atlanta for The Race 5K at Impact Church, I stopped by Rosie’s Cafe with my family and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The food and service were excellent! I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits as well as the blueberry chicken and waffles. Rosie’s offers both delicious comfort breakfast foods and healthy options, which I appreciate. On a previous visit, I tried the French toast, pancakes, and grits, all of which were delicious. This time, I opted for avocado toast and chicken sausage, and they were absolutely tasty. The cafe is small and quaint and has never disappointed me. On one occasion, I grabbed an iced coffee to go, which was fantastic, and everyone at the cafe was very pleasant. Although we had other plans and couldn’t stay for brunch, the menu and food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We are planning to come back and eat here the next time we’re in town.

Despite a few downsides, it's a good spot to grab a meal, especially if you’re caught in the rain.

I tried the First Watch location in Atlanta for the first time, and it was a good experience. I've been to other locations before, and this one holds up in terms of value. We arrived around lunchtime on a Wednesday, and thankfully there was no wait. Our server was excellent—super friendly, polite, and checked in on us regularly. The service definitely deserves a 5/5. The food was enjoyable. I appreciated the option of gluten-free bread and oat milk. I ordered a turkey club sandwich on gluten-free bread. There was a mix-up with my order, as it initially came with cheese despite my dairy allergy, but the server quickly corrected it. However, I would've liked to start on the other food while they fixed the sandwich. The remade sandwich seemed rushed and could have used a bit more avocado. The side of potatoes was slightly salty, but the cold brew coffee was good. They only have drip or cold brew, so no lattes. My mentor had one of the fresh juices, which she enjoyed, as well as a "pick 2" combo with a salad and tomato basil soup, plus a pumpkin pancake on the side. They were out of sugar-free syrup, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would return. The menu is extensive with lots of choices, and despite a few minor hiccups, the experience was positive. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server really made the visit a good one.

I've had the pleasure of dining at J. Christopher's twice and even picked up takeout once, so it's time to share my thoughts. My takeout omelet wasn't exactly what I expected, as it had minimal fillings all on one side. However, dining in was a different story. During my first visit, Danny took excellent care of me. He made spot-on recommendations and, noticing my need for caffeine, left me with a whole carafe of coffee – much appreciated! The pimento cheese and bacon omelet was a standout; I find myself constantly craving it. The biscuit and grits were just the right size as well. On my third visit, I tried the western omelet with biscuit and grits. Even though the grits were smaller and the biscuit a bit dry, the service was quick to rectify any issues. Their mid-week specials are a fantastic deal, with a stuffed omelet and sides for just $7. As someone with celiac, I was delighted when they made my eggs Benedict with gluten-free toast, and the fresh fruit on the side was a nice touch. My husband tried the blueberry crunch cake and really enjoyed it. Whoever was cooking on Friday, October 18th, deserves a raise – everything from the perfectly cooked and seasoned potatoes to the fluffy scrambled eggs and soft, buttery biscuit was a delight. In the past year and a half, the food at J. Christopher's has never tasted better. The cool pictures on the wall add to the enjoyable atmosphere, and everyone at my table was satisfied with their food. I'll continue to stop by for breakfast, especially since I work nearby.
