Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee

Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee is a wonderful spot for breakfast. My meal, an egg, bacon, and cheese croissant, came out quickly and was delicious. The atmosphere is both cute and quaint, with cozy indoor seating and a nice outdoor area. I had a chai tea latte; it was decent, though clearly from a box concentrate. My first cup of hot coffee with half and half was a treat, and I loved it. The design of the place is inviting, using warm, earthy tones and comfortable seating with soft lighting, which sets a peaceful ambiance perfect for relaxing or working. The playlist was also enjoyable, adding to the overall vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The menu offers a great selection, and I tried the white chocolate mocha, which impressed me. The pastries were fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. I also ordered a plain black coffee, which had a good, flavorful balance without any burnt or sour notes. The croissant was delicious, albeit a bit too full and not as airy as I prefer. At one point, ordering felt a bit rushed as there was no line, but that's a small detail in an otherwise perfect experience. The indoor space is cozy, though a bit cramped, but the outdoor seating offers a pleasant alternative. I love my new hat from there and appreciated the kindness of the staff. I hope to return tomorrow to get a stainless steel bottle, like the one my daughter got for her green tea. Overall, it's a delightful spot that I recommend.
Ubora Coffee Roasters Augusta

From the moment I stepped into Ubora Coffee, I was embraced by the charm of North Augusta's history. The view of old red brick buildings and the closed leather company across the street perfectly matched the vintage vibe of the café. Inside, the spaciousness caught my eye, blending the roles of café and coffee roaster seamlessly. I love when places roast their own beans; it adds a special touch and an industrious vibe to the environment. I decided on an iced mocha latte, which was perfect, and a bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. Having just come back from a two-day camping trip, that sandwich felt like the best meal I've ever had. What stood out even more was the service. The person taking my order was incredibly helpful and patient with my many questions. Ubora Coffee is more than just a coffee shop—it's an experience where the past and present merge into a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's a must-visit for coffee lovers. On my first visit, Garrett greeted us warmly and answered all our questions with a smile. The ambiance is inviting, and the space is large with clean, kid-friendly restrooms. The parking across the street is convenient, too. We also tried the Vietnamese coffee, which was excellent. As coffee fanatics, my wife and I are always exploring new spots, and Ubora left us in awe. The cabin vibes inside remind me of vacation, and the coffee is like Heaven on Earth. They strive for perfection in every cup, and it shows. Amazing coffee, food, and customer service keep us coming back. The service truly makes this place unique. Mo, in particular, is passionate about the coffee he serves, and his dedication is evident. Ubora has become a cherished part of our week, and I can't praise it enough. Both locations offer divine coffee, top-tier snacks, and an atmosphere that can't be beat.
Chick-fil-A

I’ve had many great experiences at the Chick-fil-A in Augusta, especially during my time as a student at Augusta University. The atmosphere has always been welcoming, with excellent customer service. I’m a big fan of their Chicken sandwich meal, and I’ve also enjoyed the Cobb salad with avocado ranch dressing, which was recommended by a colleague. There was a small hiccup once when Ashton, who took my order, forgot to include my small vanilla shake. However, the staff was quick to fix it at the window. Even though they ran out of toppings for the shake, they were apologetic about it. The drive-thru can get pretty packed, so sometimes it’s faster to walk in. It took a bit longer than usual one time, but I’ve generally had faster service. As far as the food, the nuggets are consistently good. I had an issue with the fries being a bit cold and undercooked once, but overall, I’ve enjoyed my meals there. It’s a place I’ve come to associate with good memories and satisfying meals.
Ruth's Family Restaurant

Ruth's Family Restaurant is hands down the best local breakfast spot in Augusta! I'm thrilled they've stayed open because their food is tasty, homemade, and won't break the bank. The servers are friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere feel cozy and family-like. This is a must-try if you ever find yourself in Augusta. It's not a chain, so it has that nice small-town charm with excellent customer service. The food is great and comes out fast. I will miss this place's charm but will definitely be back. My wife, bonus son, our friend, and I had a short wait before we were seated, and our cheerful waitress made the experience delightful. The grits were particularly tasty, and I enjoyed the He-Man breakfast for a real southern style meal. Even though the pancakes and country ham weren't my favorites, the overall experience was fantastic. I’m planning on making more regular visits, especially since lunch there sounds promising too.
Metro Diner

It's a rarity when everything aligns perfectly, but I'm convinced that's exactly what happens every time someone visits the Washington Rd Metro Diner in Augusta. Kristy was phenomenal! She was cool, attentive, and always seemed to be exactly where she needed to be at just the right moment. The food was equally impressive. The avocado toast was delightful, and even though my steak breakfast bowl initially lacked hash browns, Kristy fixed it without me even needing to ask. I would drive an hour just to eat here! TEN STARS. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and were truly impressed by both the service and the food. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite the place being packed, we were seated immediately and our server, Rod, came by promptly. He was incredibly friendly and guided us through the options with ease. The service was outstanding. The chicken and waffles were absolutely amazing. The sweet and spicy sauce paired with the perfectly crispy fried chicken is addictive. I'm already planning my next trip to try another dish. The server was amazing, friendly, kind, patient, and had a wonderful personality. The food was fantastic. My son had the chicken and waffles, and I enjoyed the avocado toast with feta, scrambled eggs, and a blueberry waffle with strawberries and bananas. So yummy 😋. It's definitely one of the best places to eat in Augusta, Georgia... Keep up the great work!

I've been visiting the Chick-fil-A on Washington Rd for breakfast, and it never disappoints. This location has become our go-to, primarily because of the exceptional service we receive. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to clean up after our two little ones, which is a huge relief for us as parents. The food is exactly what you'd expect from Chick-fil-A—consistently delicious and of the highest quality. The restaurant itself is quite new and always spotless, offering a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for any visit. What impresses me the most is the customer service. From the warm greeting at the door to the patient cashier who answered all my questions, every interaction is pleasant. It's nice that staff members check in during the meal to make sure everything is just right and even offer to refill drinks. Chick-fil-A on Washington Rd consistently delivers a superior experience with great food and exceptional service. I'll definitely be coming back. The place is the cleanest and best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to, with polite staff who go above and beyond. Though I do wonder about the efficiency of the mobile drive-thru when it merges with regular orders, it’s a minor point compared to everything else. I absolutely love my Washington Rd Chick-fil-A!
Bill's Family Restaurant
2518 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta

If you're in the mood for some good old country cooking, Bill's Family Restaurant in Augusta is the place to be. Although it's a small spot, it gets really busy during lunch, so I recommend beating the line before noon. On my visit, I ordered the Texas cheese steak on toast, and it was buttery and cheesy just how I like it. Their mac and cheese is also really good. I can't believe I just found this place, even though it's been in Augusta for a long time—and now I see why! When we had lunch there for the first time, all we could say was, "WOW!" Both of us ordered the bacon cheeseburgers and added an egg on top, and it was amazing. The patties were handmade and grilled to perfection, and the fresh-cut fries were a generous helping and equally impressive. Bill's Family Restaurant is truly a hidden treasure tucked away off Peach Orchard Road. If you bring the family for breakfast, you won't be disappointed. The local family food is great, and the prices are unbeatable—definitely the cheapest meal we've had as a family. Despite the low prices, the food quality was solid, and the staff was super friendly and quick. It felt like eating out of a southern granny's recipe book. For breakfast, my husband had grits, an over-easy egg, and toast with corned beef hash. Our kid enjoyed a pancake and bacon. I had corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and cheese, plus biscuits with a small side of gravy. We ordered a side of home fries for the table. The biscuits had a tasty, buttery flavor with more crumble than chew, which I prefer. The home fries were simple slices of fresh potatoes deep-fried to perfection, leaving us with no complaints. While the gravy seemed to come from a canned or bulk mix, overall, the food was good, the service was great, and everyone in the family liked it. I would recommend Bill's Family Restaurant and plan to go back. Supporting local establishments like this one is always a pleasure.
Frog & the Hen
466 Flowing Wells Rd #4, Augusta

Sebastian Poole
After a fun shopping trip at Uptown Cheapskate, we decided to grab brunch at Frog & the Hen, and I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was bustling, which added to the charm. We started with the biscuits and honey butter, and let me tell you, that butter was phenomenal. Our server, Pierre, mentioned it was made fresh daily, and it showed. For the main event, I went all in with the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken. The portion was generous, and the spice level was just right—enough to wake up the taste buds without being overpowering. It was flavorful and satisfying, leaving me with leftovers to enjoy later. My son opted for the chicken and waffles, and was over the moon about the fluffy waffle and the crispy tenders. It's safe to say they know their way around a waffle iron. My wife enjoyed her mixed green salad topped with fried chicken strips, which she paired with a trio of homemade dressings that she thoroughly enjoyed exploring. While the service was a bit slow and they surprisingly ran out of coffee during our visit, these hiccups didn’t overshadow the overall delightful experience. The Bananas Foster French Toast was another standout dish for me—it hit all the right notes. Our only misstep was the undercooked chicken initially served to my date, but they handled it quickly, and the replacement was cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a great spot for brunch with delicious food and fair prices. It’s definitely a place I'll revisit when I crave some good Southern flavors with a twist.
Cafe Dulce

Cafe Dulce is such a fantastic spot for breakfast in Augusta. Despite a hiccup with the store hours, once I got in, it was all worth it. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, which I loved. The staff was incredibly friendly and engaged in conversation easily, making the visit even more enjoyable. I had the chance to try the vanilla chai chill and the brown sugar cinnamon oat milk latte, which were both delicious. The menu offers a variety of pastries, coffees, and custards with several toppings to choose from, ensuring there's something for everyone. The owners and employees were welcoming, making it a great place to come with friends, study, or grab something on the go. I attended a Yelp event here, and I really enjoyed the experience. Food and coffee were served quickly, and everything was very good. The combination of excellent service, tasty treats, and a pleasant atmosphere means I will definitely return to try more of what Cafe Dulce has to offer.

Sunrise Grill in Augusta is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and even went out of their way to make a side of a single piece of French toast for my breakfast, which wasn't on the menu. It was a pleasant surprise! We never had to wait for coffee refills or any attention. The breakfast food in Augusta is impressive, and I was particularly taken with how they prepare their eggs. Coming from the Saint Louis area, I wasn't used to egg patties, but they were delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, making it an excellent spot for diners of all ages, particularly elders. My husband and I both enjoyed our visit immensely. The biscuit was soft, and despite the potatoes being a bit bland, everything else made up for it. The experience made us feel safe and welcomed, which can be hard to find. Though we've had mixed experiences in other locations, the Augusta Sunrise Grill stands out. We're certain we'll be returning for more of their delightful breakfast offerings before they close at 2 pm. It's definitely a place not to miss if you're in the area!
Bodega Ultima - Augusta, GA

If you're looking for a taste of a French or Italian cafe right here in Augusta, Bodega Ultima is the place to be for breakfast or lunch. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, creating a laid-back atmosphere where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The outdoor covered patio is the best in Augusta, complete with a charming fountain and the delightful company of Ash, the well-behaved gentleman dog. This morning, I indulged in a chicken biscuit that had a surprising spicy kick, which I thoroughly enjoyed, though it might not be for everyone. The coffee here is excellent, and if you're a wine enthusiast, their non-snobby wine club is a great option. Bodega Ultima is perfect for any occasion—whether you're with a friend, a business colleague, or on a date, especially if you can sit on that marvelous patio in nice weather. I've sampled their Cuban Sandwich, Reuben, Shrimp and Grits, lattes, Avocado Toast, and wine, and everything has been amazing. My husband loved both the Cuban Sandwich and the Breakfast Burger. The vibes and atmosphere are spot on, and the staff always extends a warm welcome. The evenings here offer something special, as you can reserve the venue for private and corporate events. Although I forgot to snap photos of the dishes, trust me—they're all delicious. On a beautiful day, we opted for outdoor seating, though the bar inside is gorgeous with its extensive liquor and wine selection. This pet-friendly spot allowed several patrons to bring their dogs, which added to the charm. Cary, the owner, has his adorable and friendly terrier, Ash, who greets everyone with enthusiasm. Our service was prompt and attentive. I savored the Salmon BLT Bagel with egg, lox, bacon, tomato, cream cheese, and avocado—it was delicious! My friend enjoyed the Jamon Croissant stuffed with egg, ham, and provolone, alongside a generous portion of cheese grits. With a few bites shared with Ash, she relished every bit of her meal. From the warm welcome to the delectable food, everything was fantastic. The lattes were heavenly, and Ash, with her gorgeous curly hair, added a lovely touch to the experience. 100% planning to return!

I've been visiting First Watch for years, and I truly love the food here. This location in Augusta is a standout among the ones I've been to. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The customer service was excellent, and our order was spot on. I had the mocha mint iced coffee, which was a delicious start to my morning, while my husband enjoyed the hot coffee. Our meal kicked off with the blueberry lemon cornbread, which was absolutely amazing. I ordered the brisket hash, which was decent but could use a bit more flavor and meat. My husband went for the brisket quesadillas with black beans; he found them a bit one-note and slightly dry. While this spot might be on the pricier side for breakfast, it's worth it for the variety and quality of options. Highly recommend this First Watch if you're in the area!
Waffle House

Three of us had breakfast at Waffle House in Augusta, and it was fantastic! Our waitress, Diane, was attentive and friendly, always making sure our water glasses were full and double-checking our orders. All three dishes were cooked perfectly and arrived quickly. The staff was incredibly friendly, including the tall cook who greeted us and later asked if everything was satisfactory. That's what I call outstanding service! We ordered the BLT and All Star Breakfast, and the food was served fast. Diane noticed that the waffle was slightly overcooked and immediately had it redone for us. It's honestly the best food and service I've experienced at any Waffle House. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh, and the menu is simple yet affordable. They keep it simple, and it works brilliantly. Sandy, another staff member, is also very sweet and consistently provides excellent service. I appreciate the quick and precise work of the cook, too. Thanks to this team, I'm definitely coming back. Great place for a quick breakfast!

I loved visiting this Waffle House for breakfast in Augusta. The moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right at home. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, and the cook provided some unexpected entertainment, which added to the experience. The food came out quickly and tasted great, and the facility was clean and inviting. Everyone seemed attentive despite the busy environment. I was impressed by Alyssa, Brina, David, and the cooks, who made sitting at the bar feel like a cozy visit home. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger plate, and although my burger initially arrived without bacon, the staff was quick to fix my daughter's hash browns when she pointed out they were missing ingredients. Despite a few minor hiccups, like the empty ketchup and mustard bottles and a lipstick mark on a coffee cup, the overall experience was positive. We visited on a busy Sunday morning and appreciated finding a booth right away. The quick service and yummy food definitely make us want to return. A little more attention to cleaning the front windows would enhance the ambiance, but overall, it was a delightful breakfast spot.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Walking into Tropical Smoothie Cafe for breakfast in Augusta was a mixed experience but ended up being quite positive overall. I started off with an acai fruit bowl, which wasn't exactly what I expected as it was more of an acai slushy with frozen fruit toppings. However, my mood quickly improved with their delicious smoothies. The sunrise smoothie with B12 and the edible straw was absolutely delightful, and my companion enjoyed the Bahama Mama with added energizer, fat burner, and B1E. Both were tasty and smooth, definitely the highlight of our visit. The service was quick, and while not perfect, the staff was responsive. My wife ordered a jerk chicken bowl, which had more salad than rice initially, but the staff kindly remade it for her, earning some points for customer service. I had the ultimate club, which was pretty decent, though I would have preferred it toasted a bit more. We did have to ask twice for a cup of water, but on the whole, our experience was pleasant with fast food service. While there were a few hiccups, the tasty smoothies and accommodating staff made our visit worthwhile.

I had an excellent experience at Starbucks for breakfast in Augusta. The change in crew and management has made a noticeable difference. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly baristas who made me feel welcome. The cafe was clean, and my drink was prepared quickly and with care. I ordered a caramel brûlée latte, which I really enjoyed, especially with the festive Christmas vibes adding to the experience. Although the drink was a bit sweet for my taste, it was fun to try something new. Overall, I'm very pleased with the improved service and atmosphere at this location. Thank you for a great experience!
