Eating at Jake's Bagels & Deli was a fantastic experience. They really don't hold back on the eggs for their breakfast bagels, and their strawberry cream cheese with real strawberry chunks is a definite winner. The staff were super helpful, guiding me through their coffee setup since it was my first visit. I'd absolutely recommend this place—great value for what they offer. Their bagels are not only fresh and delicious but also well-priced. The service is efficient, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Jake's offers a wide range of bagels and cream cheeses, along with a good selection of baked goods and coffees, making it ideal for a quick breakfast. It seems like a local favorite, with a line out the door! We tried two breakfast bagels, one with bacon on their signature everything bagel. They were perfectly soft and chewy, with just the right amount of crunch from the salt, garlic, and seeds. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. We also picked up half a dozen bagels to go with some scallion cream cheese. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular here. My mom and I were visiting from Aurora, CO, and Jake's came highly recommended—it did not disappoint. The bagels and lox were top-notch. I enjoyed the olive cream cheese while my mom loved the scallion. We even sat outside to enjoy the view of the river while eating. The only downside? We don't have a Jake's back in Colorado.

Looking for fast, friendly service with great food? This is the place. BC quickly accommodated our large party of 18, even on a tight schedule. Liliana was our waitress and made everything seamless. I had the 3 breakfast tacos, which were filling and flavorful. I also tried the Berries and Creme Crepes for the first time—they were sweet but not overpowering. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely be back. The food was excellent with a great variety of breakfast meats, perfect for those who don’t eat pork. Kasia, another attentive waitress, made sure all our needs were met. It was so good that I went back the next day. Thank you, Kasia! My friend and I stopped in for brunch, and our server, Ronnie (I think that was her name), was very attentive and helpful. The menu has a lot of delicious-sounding options. Our food was fast, hot, and very tasty. The coffee was amazing, and I’m quite picky about restaurant coffee. We loved the mantras on the silverware covers. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food. Everything we tried was very good. I had the meat lovers skillet, and my friend had the Philly cheese steak skillet. The establishment is very clean with nice, minimalist decor and plenty of seating. Even the owner came around to each table, including ours, to welcome us and check in. We both agree we’ll definitely be back. Well done! My husband and I also dropped in for a quick breakfast. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the vibe was awesome. I absolutely love this "pay for a meal" initiative they have going on! Great experience, and we will be back!

BLUF: Ozzie's Diner is a great spot for breakfast with generous portions. Don't judge a book by its cover. The exterior might look a bit run down, but inside it's nice and clean. The coffee is good, and they offer flavored creamer, which is a nice touch. I’m a fan of the Ozzie hot sauce! The bathrooms are clean, though not fancy. The portions here are huge! The waitress and hostess were pleasant and provided excellent service. I noticed a couple of big parties dining, and everyone seemed well taken care of. I've been to Ozzie's twice, once this year and once last April. Both visits were fantastic, though I don’t come often since I’m not in the area regularly. The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes. Be prepared to gain a few calories if you attempt to finish your meal! The service and food are top-notch. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. My daughter had the Oreo pancakes, which were the size of a cake. My wife enjoyed the Mexican breakfast, and I had a meat lover's skillet. I was impressed with how little grease was in our food, and everything was well-cooked. Our meal for three, including tip, was about $70, but it was well worth it. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food never disappoints. On one visit, I asked for something not on the menu—Tres Leche waffles and chicken—and the kitchen made it happen. It was tremendous! They might even add it to the menu as the Gary special. John, the owner, is a nice guy. Give them a try; you won’t regret it.

Harner's Bakery Restaurant has been a gem in Aurora for a long time, and I finally had the chance to experience it. With a bakery in the front and a cozy eatery beyond, it's a mom-and-pop spot that offers a wonderful view of the Fox River. The food is really good, and I've always heard great things about it. My breakfast there was absolutely fabulous, and our waitress, Jennifer, was outstanding. I've had their donuts before, and let me tell you, they are the best around! Whenever I bring them to work, they’re a big hit. For dinner, my friends and I tried the restaurant, and it was just as delightful. The roast beef dinner was comforting and delicious, plus the prices were very reasonable. The butter pecan coffee cake is a standout, just unbelievable. They offer a wide variety of bakery items, from pies to cookies. The dining room has a great atmosphere, perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just picking up some treats. The service has always been consistent and friendly throughout the years. Next time, I’m definitely trying the soup and salad bar. Harner's is truly a fantastic place for any meal or snack!

Tried Big Apple Bagels in Aurora for breakfast, and it was a great experience! The key-lime cheesecake muffin really hit the spot, and the egg bagel was incredibly soft. They even have bagel treats for your dog, which is a nice touch. The staff was friendly, making the short visit sweet. It was my first time stopping by, and I was impressed by the variety of bagels available, though they do sell out quickly. We arrived at 10 am on a Sunday, and about half of the bagels were already sold out. The bagels I tried were fresh and soft, especially with the plain cream cheese—they tasted delicious! Service was quick, though the coffee was just okay. Despite some mixed experiences with service in the past, the food is always amazing, and this place offers the best bagels for a low price. I find myself coming here all the time, and it's become one of my favorite spots.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience at Double Yolk Pancake House and Restaurant in Aurora. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. My first visit, I tried the Meat Lovers Skillet, and it was incredibly tasty. I was so impressed that I returned a week later for the Trucker’s Skillet, which was equally excellent. I aim to slowly work my way through the entire menu, and I’ll be sharing updates and photos. The pancakes are a highlight—super fluffy and paired perfectly with my omelet, satisfying both my sweet and savory cravings. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming feel, and we had quick seating in the cake/bakery section, which was a nice touch. Our waitress was fantastic, full of energy and very attentive, enhancing our dining experience. Even during a busy morning, the service was prompt and friendly. I did try the Mixed Berry Waffle, which hit the mark with its great taste and texture, though the fruit didn't impress me as much. Overall, Double Yolk offers a great combination of mouth-watering food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Perfect for starting your day right, and I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for breakfast lovers!

This was my first visit to Pomegranate Restaurant & Cafe for breakfast, and I had a great time. Donna, our waitress, was wonderful with her warm and sweet spirit. The food was delicious, although my drink was a touch too sweet for my liking. As a newcomer, I wasn’t aware that I needed to pay at the front, which led to a bit of a delay, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience. I ordered ham, a Belgium waffle, and hash browns, which are my usual picks, and everything was spot on. The breakfast ham was excellent and even tasted great reheated. My guest loved their BLT with fried green tomato, which is hard to find done right, especially as a former southerner. They were thrilled with its taste and texture. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fries, as I prefer them simple, but my guest enjoyed them. We also tried the chicken noodle soup, which was simple and satisfying. I'm eager to return to try their chicken tortilla soup and enjoy their mimosas for brunch. The atmosphere was welcoming with a lovely decor, and discovering their Amish jam was a delightful bonus. On my second visit, the warm greeting by the host and Emily, my server, made a wonderful start. I enjoyed the unique touch of coffee served in a personal kettle and the variety of flavored creamers available. Emily was attentive and accommodating with my order changes, and the Popeye Skillet I had was delicious with a perfect mix of ingredients. The staff’s diligence in keeping tables clean and stocked contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, my experience at Pomegranate was amazing, and I can't wait to return. Thank you for an enjoyable dining experience!

During a stop on our road trip from Iowa to Chicago, we decided to have breakfast at Nikarry's Restaurant in Aurora. Despite some mixed experiences, I'm glad we gave it a try. The service was friendly and efficient, which made for a pleasant start to our morning. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a classic diner, comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast options were quite satisfying. Although the biscuits and gravy seemed prepackaged, the rest of the meal made up for it. The pecan waffle was notably delicious, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. I was particularly impressed with the eggs with Greek pork chops; they were cooked just right and full of flavor. The Monte Cristo also stood out as a favorite, and their savory crepes, like the chicken or supreme, were delicious. The Eggs Benedict was another highlight that I would recommend. While there might be some room for improvement with certain items, overall, the breakfast experience was enjoyable. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be happy to stop by for another meal, especially for their breakfast or sandwich options.

I had an amazing breakfast experience at Syrup in Aurora. The portion sizes were incredible value for the cost, and the French toast was a highlight. I did have to ask for my potatoes to be cooked a bit longer, but the replacement batch was perfect. I absolutely loved the no-nitrate sausage, too. We arrived around 9:20 and were seated immediately, but by 10:00, the place was packed. It's definitely worth going early to avoid a wait, especially since there were lots of families waiting as we left around noon. I ordered the “On the Border” Skillet with pancakes and sweet potato fries. There was a mix-up with my drink—I got a yogurt smoothie instead of the wild berry one I ordered. It tasted like go-gurt, which I didn't mind. My friends and I had a small issue with the tip being charged on the card after opting for a "cash" tip, but the staff easily corrected it by removing the cash tip we left on the table. Overall, the service and food were outstanding, deserving of a five-star review. The orange juice and apple juice servings are small, so I’d recommend pairing them with other drinks. Everything was delicious, and the portions were so generous that I needed a to-go box. The limeade is a must-try—it's refreshing and pairs well with the meal. We celebrated my friend's 19th birthday there, and everyone loved their meals. The atmosphere was soothing and simple, which allowed us to focus on our food. Although it’s a bit on the pricey side, that’s becoming the norm everywhere. This was my first time at Syrup, and I’m definitely planning to return with family.

It's the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal place to bring someone you love for a delightful dining experience. I have to give 5 stars to Hashana for her warm welcome and to Darlene, who was outstanding on her first day. For breakfast, I had my all-time favorite, the Bacon Avocado Cheese Omelet, loaded with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, and it came with a perfect cup of coffee. My husband tried the lasagna, which he enjoyed, while I went for the Mother's crepes—hands down the best crepes I've ever had. We also savored the chicken and rice soup, which was amazing. We'll definitely be returning. Early on a Saturday morning, I stopped in for breakfast and noticed a few local folks enjoying their coffee. The place is clean and has a modern decor. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict, and it was perfect, while my wife tried the "Sugga Momma" chicken & waffle—wow. We couldn't resist trying the French beignets, which were fantastic. This place truly deserves a rare 5-star rating for its exceptional food and service.

I had a fantastic breakfast at Blueberry Hill Pancake House in Aurora. The omelettes are amazing, especially the Spinach and Feta one I ordered – absolutely delicious! My server was excellent, friendly, and efficient, always keeping our table cleared and our coffee cups full. My husband tried the seafood omelette, and his potatoes were cooked with peppers, which looked so flavorful that I asked about mine. The server quickly got me the green pepper potatoes, and they were indeed tasty! The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the prices were very reasonable. It was truly an exceptional breakfast experience, and I left as a very happy customer. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return. I did notice, however, that there are no handicap parking spaces, and there's a curb at the entrance. They suggest getting on their waiting list via Google during weekends, as it gets busy. Each table has little signs asking you to wear a mask except when eating or drinking and to limit your time to 1½ hours. What I love about this place is you can order breakfast any time they're open, and the food arrives hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Our server was outstanding, quick with everything, and the food was very good. The turkey burger with fries and a cup of soup was also delightful. Breakfast comes with a choice of several sides and a variety of breakfast meats suitable for different diets, be it medical or religious reasons. I've been here before and ate here last week. It feels just like home: warm, friendly, and with great food!

My experience at Denny's in Aurora for breakfast was fantastic. Each time I've visited, I've had a positive experience, unlike some other reviews I've read. There's always plenty of parking, and being open 24 hours is incredibly convenient. We were seated right away, and our server Nicola was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We tried the strawberry and mango lemonades with unlimited refills, which were refreshing and definitely worth it. Our breakfast included T-bone steak and eggs, sirloin steak and eggs, and the standout strawberry stuffed French toast. The meats were cooked to perfection—juicy and tender, just the way we like them. The eggs and hash browns were nicely done, with the option to add more seasoning if desired. The pancakes had a great texture and weren’t soggy at all. The highlight was definitely the strawberry stuffed French toast, which struck the perfect balance between sweet and creamy. The building itself was clean and spacious, adding to the pleasant dining atmosphere. Our drinks arrived promptly, and despite the place being busy, our food order was taken quickly. The staff have always been kind, friendly, and patient, especially with my elderly father. This location has become a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal together. The food has been consistently great—my wife loved her BLT with extra bacon, and my double cheeseburger was outstanding. The service was excellent, and I’m glad we decided to stop in. Thank you, Denny's, for the great experience. We will definitely be back!

Aurora Pancake House is an excellent spot for breakfast, offering pretty good food at great prices. The atmosphere is charming, and the location is easy to access. While it's not revolutionary, it doesn't need to be—it's a great no-frills breakfast spot. I found the food to be fantastic! The crepes reminded me of the original "Pancake House," but they tasted even better this time around. Everything was flavorful; the soup was so filling I could only finish half, and the fries were perfectly crispy. After the pandemic, I wasn't sure what to expect, but they've made an impressive turnaround. My family and I are definitely going back! The only downside was a 40-minute wait for the food, though we were seated right away. Despite that, both the food and service were great. I had the Denver Skillet, which came with a choice of toast or a large pancake. The cost was around $12, which was very fair considering the big servings. Overall, it's a spot I would highly recommend.

During our visit from New Jersey, we decided to try Honey Berry Pancakes and Cafe for breakfast in Aurora, and it was an excellent choice. Mandy, our server, was fantastic and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. We were delighted with the delicious food, and Mandy's service made our experience even more enjoyable. The chicken and waffles stood out with their light, flaky crunchiness, and the country fried steak was absolutely delicious. I ordered chocolate chip waffles to satisfy my sweet tooth; though they had a few too many chocolate chips for my taste, the waffle itself was still satisfying. The veggie skillet, enhanced with avocado and applewood bacon, was amazing, especially with the goat cheese Mandy suggested—it paired perfectly with the avocado. The decor of Honey Berry Pancakes and Cafe is inviting, with a bright and open atmosphere and nice big TVs to watch while eating. The place is relatively clean, and the menu offers a variety of options, including an excellent drink selection. The prices are fair, and the staff is both polite and attentive. Even though we sat at the bar, Mandy made sure we felt welcome and carefully noted my food allergies. Overall, this is a place worth returning to, and we plan to visit one more time before heading back to NJ. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hearty breakfast in Aurora!

I visited Panera Bread in Aurora for breakfast and had a great experience. The food was warm, quickly prepared, and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed sitting outside in their nice outdoor seating area. I tried all their sandwiches with the broccoli cheddar soup, which came with a free side and dessert for just $5, and it was perfect every time. While the food is usually good, this location was just okay. The tomato soup wasn't as warm as expected, and the sandwich was alright in taste. Unfortunately, the French Baguette I ordered with the soup wasn't available, and it would have been appreciated if they offered something for the inconvenience. Despite that, everything else was great—the food was ready on time, the restaurant was clean, and there was plenty of parking and seating inside. Overall, it's a good spot for snacking with awesome food varieties, and the tomato soup was a hit with the kids.
