There’s plenty of parking, even for a bobtail semi truck like mine, so that started the visit on a good note. The server was super friendly and prompt, really setting a welcoming tone for the place. The breakfast was nothing short of amazing. I’m not usually into the pumpkin craze, but their seasonal pumpkin pancake special was exceptional. It’s definitely worth the visit, and a big thanks to Kat for making it such a memorable meal. This was my first time, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I completely understand why Sandy's is always busy. The wait time was short, the portions were large, and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with a perfect down-home country style. The restaurant was clean, and every staff member I encountered was super polite. I ordered the Ham Benedict with a side of green chili for the hash browns, and the portion size was impressive. The ham was plentiful on the toasted English muffins, and the eggs were cooked just right. The green chili was on point, adding great flavor to the meal. This place is definitely going to become a regular stop for me. Walking into Sandy's feels like stepping into a cozy home. The layout with booths and family-style tables makes it feel very inviting. The coffee was hot, and a couple of biscuits and gravy were more than a meal. I’d also recommend ordering some sausage if, like me, you enjoy more sausage in your gravy. The bacon was flavorful and quickly devoured, as were the pancakes. If you’re traveling out of Colorado Springs on Hwy 24 and need an early start, this restaurant is ideally located right off the highway. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. The gluten-free coconut raspberry bread with cream cheese icing was unforgettable. Though I didn't get to try the coffee this time, the aroma was tempting, and I'm eager to order a drink on my next visit. The Exchange offers fantastic food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. Our group of four arrived for a late lunch just an hour before closing, yet we didn't feel rushed or like we were getting the leftovers. Every dish was served hot and fresh, and the wait staff were friendly and awesome. A special shoutout to Sarah, our delightful server who filled our meal with humor and warmth. The country fried steak, biscuits, and gravy were fantastic, with the steak cooked just as ordered—extra crispy. Sitting outside gave us a lovely view of the mountains, which added to the whole experience. The food portions were generous and everything from the huevos rancheros to the giant cinnamon roll was delicious. Even the strawberry jam tasted homemade, and the fresh-squeezed juice was a nice touch. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back with more friends.

I particularly enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which was generously sized, and the home fries were a delight. Although the skillet was slightly smaller than expected, it was still tasty. The French toast, while a bit on the small side for the price, was good as well. What truly sets Susie's apart is the friendly and attentive staff, who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Our visit was smooth, with food arriving quickly, though it wasn't busy at the time. A must-try is Susie's homemade pies, especially the chocolate pie, which is incredibly rich and best shared. Overall, Susie's Westside Café scores high on my list of favorite diners in Colorado Springs. It's a place I'd definitely visit again, and I highly recommend trying a Cinnamon Roll if you have the chance!

It's become my go-to place with friends, family, and anyone asking for a breakfast or lunch recommendation. The breakfast burrito is huge and amazing, offering just the right amount of spice. Their fruit bowl is equally impressive, fresh and delightful. The coffee, sourced from Denver, truly is the best in town, making it a must-try for coffee lovers. Despite the cafe being a bit understaffed, the waitress was pleasant and managed the busyness with grace. She's kind and adds a personal touch to the service. Kim, who handles the food service, is exceptional, while Ricky, the owner, cooks up some excellent dishes. Everything on the menu is worth recommending. There were a couple of minor issues with the eggs and hash browns, but the overall experience was wonderful. I look forward to going back and giving it another shot. In my opinion, Rock City Cafe deserves a solid 10+ rating. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The food is super tasty, and everyone seems to enjoy their meals and drinks. If you're spending an afternoon in downtown Colorado Springs, Bird Tree Cafe is the perfect place for a nice lunch. I can't praise this place enough. We often eat at T Byrd's and finally decided to try Bird Tree, and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, and the food and drinks were even better. I love the ambiance and the relaxed vibe here. The chairs are comfortable, making it a great spot to sit, enjoy tea or coffee, and chat. The southwest hash bowl was amazing, and their chai tea is among the best I've tasted. My husband and I were visiting family in Colorado and wanted a breakfast place before heading out for the day. Bird Tree Cafe was the best meal we've had, hands down. The service was friendly, the food was phenomenal, and we're just sad we can't make it a regular stop. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

My current favorite is the strawberry cheesecake donut, and my daughter can't get enough of the crème brûlée donut. While they are priced slightly higher than Dunkin, they're miles better. These are the best donuts I've ever had, and they truly deserve to be contenders for the best in the world. The German donut is incredible, even surpassing the cake it's named after. Despite the busy crowd this morning, the service was impressively swift. The menu offered an overwhelming number of tempting options, but I finally decided on the Meat Lover's Omelette with added mushrooms and onions, a side of fresh fruit, a pancake, and some bacon. Kenneth went for Joe's Hobo Omelette with added spinach and bell peppers, a biscuit, and a side of creamy grits. Our meals were delivered hot and fresh, looking as good as they tasted. The biscuit was enormous, much to Kenneth's delight, and the flavored-packed omelette was just what I hoped for. The grits were creamy, and the biscuit's fluffiness was on point. We'll definitely be back. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived in good time. Sarah played a big part in making our first visit memorable. This place is worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a satisfying breakfast experience. Just plan ahead if you're visiting on a busy Saturday. The mountain view adds a nice touch to the whole experience.

Our server, Liliana, did a great job; she was super nice and polite, which made our morning even better. The food was awesome, with generous portions and fresh, wholesome ingredients. We left with enough food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We tried several dishes: the breakfast scramble bowl, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and a side of hash browns. Everything was delicious. The biscuits were huge, and while I noticed the gravy didn't have sausage, I could easily turn the dish into four meals. The French toast was perfect, not wet or eggy, just how I like it. The atmosphere was fun, and I appreciated the menu presented like a newspaper. We had a great experience and plan to return. Thanks for the wonderful breakfast!

Our waitress, I think her name was Megan, was friendly and nice. My Italian salad was delicious, but I later found out that the same bowls are used for dog water, which I didn’t like. I wish there were designated dog bowls instead. My son enjoyed his pizza, and the chicken sandwich was delicious. Friends brought us here for a quick lunch on a slow day after the lunch rush, so it wasn’t too crowded. I loved the environment, and the service was good. As you can see, the food was also delicious. The portions are huge, enough to put you into a food coma! No complaints, though, I loved it! Sandwiches are enormous, so be ready to share. The giant cinnamon roll was perfect—not just a novelty, but actually flavorful with icing, crunchy bits, and soft, fluffy inside bits. CeCe was our server, and her customer service and recommendations were spot on. She really reflects the great training this place gives its employees, as everyone was nice. It's a great kid-friendly atmosphere with cool photo spots, great food, and a wonderful staff. Give it a shot!

I came in for the Blackbetty Burger, which has peanut butter, blackberry jam, and green chilis. It sounds odd, but trust me, it’s killer. I’ll be adding bacon next time. The quality of the meat really stands out. My wife ordered Sharon’s omelette, packed with every vegetable they have – she loved it! The butter browns are the best hash browns we've ever tasted. I ended up finishing the omelette so she could dive into her massive blueberry pancake. She said it was the second best she’s ever had, just behind a pineapple upside down pancake from a tiny airport restaurant in Texas. I didn’t get to try it since I was enjoying her omelette. To the person who left a one-star review about raw veggies – if you want mush, you'd be waiting a long time. They're supposed to have texture. Bring a blender next time! The entire meal was phenomenal. I’m amazed we’ve overlooked this delectable local diner for so long. They have great takes on breakfast and lunch favorites, and they serve breakfast till they close. My favorite thing has to be their griddle biscuits with homemade jelly, especially the raspberry. Lots of table options inside for small to medium groups, and the service is friendly no matter where you sit. The breakfast burritos are consistently delicious. I love getting a bacon breakfast burrito with red chile smothered on top. Honestly, I haven’t found breakfast burritos as great as these anywhere else in town. For me, it’s the only spot in the Springs that reminds me of New Mexico’s food – if you know, you know. The restaurant may be busy and not very large, but it’s pleasant, and the food portions are generous. The employees are very helpful, and I’ll definitely be back.

First time coming to Mimi's Cafe in Colorado Springs, and I'm definitely coming again! I had an iced Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Mimi's Trio, while my partner tried the Chicken & Waffles. My meal was fantastic, especially the french toast, although my partner thought the Chicken & Waffles lacked a bit of flavor and the chicken-to-waffle ratio was off. Despite that, it was still enjoyable. Our server, Lyndsey, was super sweet and really made the experience great. Additionally, I've been here before and ordered the salmon Benedict, which was amazing—the salmon was fresh and the potatoes were crispy. Paired with the white peach mimosa, it made for the perfect Sunday morning treat. Our server, Dhamar, was smiley, attentive, and speedy, providing excellent customer service. Every time we drive to Colorado Springs from Denver, we make sure to stop by Mimi's Cafe. It's consistently a great experience, with today's being no exception. Dhamar was kind and efficient, attentive to all our needs, and an overall sweet person. I give this place a solid 5 out of 5 stars for both food and service.

I decided to try The Orbit Lounge for breakfast in Colorado Springs after seeing some great reviews and photos of their dishes. While the place might be changing its name to "Cosmic Brew Café & Pantry," the experience was quite enjoyable. The food has a café vibe, and some items start frozen, but I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the breakfast bowl, and my husband tried the croissant sandwich. The bowl had eggs that seemed powdered, but the potatoes were crispy, albeit a bit dry, and the sausage was Italian instead of breakfast sausage. Overall, it wasn't too bad. My husband was pleased with his croissant sandwich, which was surprisingly large, and he enjoyed the Moon & Back Breve. One of the best parts was the convenience. We were staying at the Satellite Hotel after a long day at the Renaissance festival, and all we had to do was take the elevator to the main lobby to reach The Orbit Lounge. They offer a sandwich-style menu for lunch and dinner with daily specials, and they also serve breakfast. Prices are reasonable, and the customer service was great. I loved the outdoor seating overlooking the pool area—a perfect spot to relax. On another visit, I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, which was amazing, while my husband enjoyed the black and blue burger with generous chunks of blue cheese. The portions are great, and the atmosphere is fun. Overall, it’s a nice little bistro tucked into the iconic Satellite Hotel. Despite a few minor issues, like a rude staff member, we plan to return during our next stay.
