This place is amazing. Now I see why it's always packed—because of the incredible food and service. From the moment I walked in, the hostess was fantastic. Our server, Muhammad, was hands-down the best server I've ever had. The manager and owner were attentive, greeting everyone warmly. The food arrived quickly, was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant's decor creates a nice vibe, and there's plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. I visited for a friend's birthday, and they truly made it a special event. It's one of the highlights of our trip. Make sure to have a reservation because it's super busy, but despite the crowd, the service was impeccable. Muhammad made us feel like we were dining at a Michelin-star restaurant. I've been here several times, and they never disappoint. Just make sure your belly is empty when you go because the portions are generous. The oxtail omelette I tried once was superb—I hope they add it to the regular menu. This is my new go-to brunch spot. If you're in the Fort Lauderdale area, visiting Just Spoons Café is a must for breakfast or brunch. The food, the ambiance, and especially the service make it a hidden gem you don’t want to miss. I can't wait to go back!
Fat Stork Restaurant

Took my friend for lunch today and decided to try this place after seeing many good reviews. Well, the reviews were right! This place is a gem! The food was excellent, and so was the service. The one server was working the whole room and he did such a great job we had to compliment him. The cheese and artichoke dip was the best ever with huge homemade-style chips. The chicken tacos were so flavorful, and everything was so fresh, including the parsley sprigs on top! My friend had the mushroom burger and had to take home half of it because it’s so big! Sorry we didn’t take pictures! Definitely will be coming back. Update: Came back again with my husband and we both loved everything! The food is so fresh! The spicy Thai salad is to die for! You have to try it! We love Fat Stork and come fairly often. The menu is a little eclectic, but they have many nightly specials and the food is always great. The service is also fabulous. I had grilled Mahi, which was nicely cooked in a white wine sauce, and the mashed potatoes are always great. It's a nice little local place with friendly staff. The Fat Stork looks like a hole-in-the-wall place, but OMG, the food was OUTSTANDING! I had the Blue Cheese burger that was out of this world! Great flavor and presentation! My friends had the chicken and fish tacos, equally outstanding. If you’re near the Fat Stork, DEFINITELY GO! Nice little place that's fancy but not overly expensive. Service was fast, the food was fresh, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Crusted Salmon with mashed potatoes as a side. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and seasoned. Absolutely loved the plating too. Would recommend this place for casual meetings!

Ruthy's Bakery

I had an amazing experience with Ruthy's Bakery for breakfast in Davie. Ruthy’s Bakery crafted a fabulous sugar-free chocolate cake for my sister's birthday, and it was a hit! The cake was moist, delicious, and beautifully decorated. You wouldn't even know it was sugar-free, which made it even more impressive. Ruthy exceeded my expectations by designing the cake exactly as I envisioned and making it the center of attention at the party. The price was unbeatable compared to other places, and the quality was top-notch. Everyone at the party wanted a piece, and I can't recommend Ruthy’s Bakery enough for your special occasions. 10/10 would definitely order again!
Paradise Poke Bowls and Sandwiches, Breakfast, Lunch, Smoothies, Açai Bowls and Frozen Yogurt
9110 W State Rd 84, Davie
(954) 530-0798
Kristin Harris
Paradise Poke Bowls and Sandwiches is conveniently located near Round-Up and Off The Wall, making it a great spot to hang out and grab a bite after a fun time, all at reasonable prices. I visited the place for breakfast, and I'm really glad I did. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive. It's super close to my home, so you'll definitely see me here more often. This place is a fresh, family-owned startup and it's an upgrade from the previous owner's soft serve and smoothies only menu. They still offer frozen yogurt, which I love, and have added a variety of new options. Sure, they serve on paper plates, but let's cut them some slack - they're just starting out. It's like moving into a new home; everything takes time to come together. I've noticed some one-star reviews, and I think if you have a problem with the food, you should address it with the chef directly. It's important to support people who are working hard to build something special. I recommend this place to anyone willing to try something new and who has the patience to give a startup a chance. The owner is very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone has a great experience. He's open to meeting people and answering questions, and he's responsive to feedback. The atmosphere is relaxed, unlike the chaos of big restaurant chains. Food preparation takes some time, but that's what I expect from a place that isn't a fast food joint. The only drawback is the limited seating inside, especially for bigger groups or families. Despite that, we always stop here after our mani/pedi sessions. The chicken wings and smoothies are always on point, and today I tried the shrimp quesadilla, which was full of flavor. My daughters enjoyed the buffalo wings and chicken tacos. The food never disappoints, and I always leave satisfied. Oh, and the frozen yogurt is fantastic! 😝 I'll continue to support this place and watch it grow. Thank you for the excellent service! #NEVERDISAPPOINT#

CAFE CLUB

Cafe Club in Davie is a fantastic spot for breakfast. They serve the most delicious egg sandwich I've ever had; it melted in my mouth and was incredibly fresh. The establishment is spotless, including the nice bathroom, and it has a modern, comfortable vibe. There's a great assortment of refreshing drinks and even some cool clothing pieces on display. Johnny helped me as they were closing, and his warm, welcoming approach was just like the rest of the staff. I can't wait to go back, as it might be the healthiest choice on the boardwalk. The interior design is impressive, and it's a perfect location for a quick bite. I ordered the crunchy tuna melt, which was flavorful, though not as toasted as I would have liked, so I’d give it a 4/5. My wife had the French toast and it was incredibly light and airy, deserving a 5/5 - one of the best we've had in a while. The crepe was huge and perfectly made, and the omelette was spot on as well. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are spotless. The fruit bowl was fresh and delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Club with a firm 5-star rating.

Ever since my first visit to Don Pan for breakfast in Davie a few months ago, I've been going there three times a week, and each visit is just as pleasant as the last. Danielle and Johanna are always so nice, making me feel like I'm visiting a family friend's house. While I wait for my kid from class, I often get some work done, enjoying the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff's treatment of customers is consistently excellent, and it's clear they're equally kind to everyone, as there are many regulars who feel the same way. The food is delicious, especially the empanadas, and the coffee is top-notch. The whole place is super clean, and everyone who works there is genuinely friendly. I've been visiting every Sunday for months, and without a doubt, I will keep coming back. The food is a perfect 10 out of 10, the coffee is the best, and the attention makes me feel at home. Don Pan is definitely a 5-star business, offering delicious food and excellent customer service. The location is nice too. I normally don't leave reviews for takeout orders, but when I stopped by Don Pan during rush hour traffic, hoping for a quick bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service. The staff was helpful and friendly, greeting me with big smiles. It's becoming rare to find such great service these days. For those looking for a quick and nice meal, I highly recommend this place. Next time, I'll be bringing my family and friends. Be sure to ask for Daniela; she's professional and happy to help with a smile, which truly made my day. Kudos to the owner for hiring such an amazing team!

The Groves Coffee House is a cozy gem with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Their coffee is consistently excellent, and the fresh, local ingredients in their baked goods make every visit special. They also offer delicious fresh-squeezed juices, which are the perfect refreshing pick-me-up. Dave, the owner, goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome—his passion for great coffee, juices, and service really shines through. Whether you're there to work or just relax, this place is a must-visit! It's a great place to stop for a fresh smoothie or juice, breakfast, and lunch. The staff is super friendly. I ordered an iced chai latte, a Greek salad, and the steak sandwich. Everything was tasty, with generous portions that could easily be shared. They also have some covered outdoor seating. The fresh sugar cane juice was a nice treat, and I love the little market they have on site. Driving up was really cool, with the marketplace vibe and the distinctive orange truck out front. The smoothies were excellent. I liked that the coffee could be made as strong as you wanted it. The food was also very good. The banana bread was tasty, and while the Cuban sandwich was a bit bland, the empanada and pastelito were delicious though a bit heavy on the bread. The Groves Coffee House is a delightful hidden gem nestled next to bustling Griffin Road. You can't miss it with their eye-catching big orange truck. This charming spot offers an exceptional selection of coffee and sandwiches. The Coconut Mocha Frappuccino is an absolute must-try, and the steak sandwich is equally impressive. Their homemade baked goods and fresh smoothies add to the delightful experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal and fantastic coffee in a cozy and unique setting.

After a decade away, stopping by 545° Bánh Mì Café felt like revisiting an old favorite. While shopping at Mango Tree Market, I decided to grab their #1 "The Works" Bánh Mì and a tray of four chicken egg rolls. Both were fantastic and the quick service made the experience even better. It's great to see that the café consistently delivers on taste ever since it opened. The plaza now hosts several other enticing Asian street food spots, which makes it a foodie haven. I even took an extra Bánh Mì home because it's just that good. While there, I tried the Hibiscus Dragonfruit Tea with boba, loved the fresh fruit in it, and couldn't resist the fried fish balls—they're delicious, especially with the sauce! The Korean beef BBQ Bánh Mì deserves a special mention; the beef and sauce were perfectly flavored. In a hurry or not, this place is ideal for a satisfying, speedy meal. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Davie!

One of the better breakfast spots in the area. I was getting my truck serviced nearby, so I walked over to Tower Deli and Diner for breakfast, and it didn't disappoint. The food was typical diner fare, but what really stood out was the quick and attentive service, along with their impressive bagels. I had an everything bagel on the side with a ham, tomato, and cheese omelet. You can't really go wrong with an omelet, but a true test of a great diner is their home fries, and they nailed it. They were really good. Throughout my meal, I never had to ask for refills on coffee and water, which was a nice touch. The service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. If you visit, definitely try the Pastrami Rachel—it's an exceptional choice. Overall, I had a sensational breakfast experience at Tower Deli and Diner and can't wait to return.

I just love this place. The food is fresh and very tasteful, and the juices are fresh and delicious. The ambiance is pretty with a nice lounge sound. Bale provides great service, and I'd recommend Borsalino Cafe to everyone. I'll always come back. It's the perfect little brunch spot for a delicious and healthy meal! We loved the juices, and my salad and spinach pie were the best I've had in a long time. The yummy food and great decor made this a very pleasant choice. It's a great brunch spot with good prices, good portions, and fast service. I loved the truffle potato and eggs and the avocado smash toast. I really love Borsalino! The food is always super delicious and flavorful. The presentation is spot on, and the staff and owner, George, are all fantastic. It's a great little spot with beautiful decor. We've had just about everything on the menu, and we keep bringing more friends and family so they can also experience this beautiful gem. Thank you, Borsalino team, for always treating us like family and providing amazing food every single time!

During my vacation in Florida, I decided to stop by The Garden Grill for breakfast since it was nearby. I was impressed with the experience! I ordered the chicken wings, and they were super fresh and crispy—definitely a must-try! The biscuits and gravy are the best in town, and they recently opened for dinner, where I enjoyed a tasty ribeye. Everything is affordable, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The service is consistently excellent, making it my favorite hidden gem in Davie. The atmosphere is warm and homey, and the staff is friendly and efficient, getting my drinks and food out quickly. Their house-made orange juice was delicious, and the Garden Grill breakfast was outstanding and filling. I highly recommend it for a great local breakfast spot—5/5 stars. Though the building looks old and a bit hidden, the interior is welcoming. A sweet young girl greeted me, and I ordered steak and eggs with grits and coffee, which was really good. The soothing atmosphere and great people make it a place I’ll return to with my family and recommend to friends. Hidden gem—highly recommend!

Weston Diner is a gem for breakfast in Davie. The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles that made me feel right at home. Even though I was in a wheelchair due to recent knee surgery, the staff went above and beyond to assist me, clearing the bathroom and making sure I was comfortable at the table. The food was served quickly, and there were plenty of delicious options to choose from. I was particularly impressed with the banana walnut pancakes; they might just be the best I’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the food hit the spot for a comforting meal. The staff continuously checked on us, ensuring we had everything we needed, from more coffee to any additional requests. While the outside of the diner is undergoing some refurbishment with temporary fencing, it didn’t take away from the wonderful experience. The friendly service and the hearty meal made my day, and I’m already planning future visits to try out more items on their menu. In summary, Weston Diner offers pretty standard diner food with big portions and attentive service. It’s a place where you’re treated like family, and I’d happily eat there again.
Vicky Bakery

Vicky Bakery in Davie is a gem for breakfast lovers and dessert enthusiasts alike. It's amazing to find a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal and only spend about ten dollars. The cheesecakes here are incredible—my husband tried the Oreo cheesecake, and I opted for the flan cheesecake, both were absolutely delicious! One of the standout features of this bakery is its ability to cater a wedding reception for less than $300, which is impressive. The menu is varied, and I've included a picture of it for those curious about their offerings. The coffee and breakfast items are always consistent, and I appreciate that decaf is always available. The ambiance is comfortable, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Although the service is just okay, it doesn't take away from the overall positive experience. Plus, everything is more affordable than what you’d find at most cafes in Southern Florida. I'm a big fan of the Cubano coffee and the guava and cheese pastelito. All the baked goods are fantastic and very reasonably priced at around $3 each. The dining space is comfortable with lots of open space and seating options. I've been visiting this location for four years and have mostly had a great experience, enjoying their sandwiches and Cuban desserts. However, my last visit was disappointing—I recommended the place to my parents, who love Cuban food, only for them to receive sandwiches that were below par. The midnight sandwich had barely any meat and burnt bread, and the pan con lechon was equally unsatisfying. Despite this setback, Vicky Bakery remains a staple in Southern Florida. However, after the recent disappointing experience, I feel hesitant to return. It's unfortunate because I've had many great visits before.

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar in Davie is a gem for breakfast lovers. The place is beautiful with plenty of seating, creating a lively atmosphere perfect for meet-ups. Despite being a bit pricey, the iced lattes were some of the best I've ever had, and the croissants were tasty, albeit with a slight onion-y taste, probably due to the oven. For remote professionals like me, it's a fantastic spot to work. The cafe has plenty of plugs, fast wifi, and a welcoming staff. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring the food to you. It's a bustling place, so arriving early or sitting at the counter is a good idea. There's also outside seating that's pet-friendly, which is a bonus. I'll definitely return on my next trip to Fort Lauderdale. The overall experience was great, with delicious food and excellent customer service. The presence of a helpful manager assisting the staff was a nice touch.

This bakery is so cute! I love the concepts, the breads, and the other desserts. The atmosphere is phenomenal, with a super cozy vibe that's perfect for studying. The service is quick, and they offer a nice variety of milks with their coffee. The location can be tricky to find since it's tucked away in a shopping area, but it's definitely worth seeking out. The Korean menu piqued my interest, and though I only grabbed a few items because I was in a rush, I'm eager to return and try their hot meals, especially since they offer half off the bread after 8 PM. We tried two milk teas: one passion fruit with yogurt jellies and one mango. Both were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the jelly. The berry bread was light and slightly tart, and the cream puff bread reminded me of a Boston cream donut. The egg tart, in my opinion, was the standout – delightful alongside the milk tea. While the prices are on the higher side, $28 for three pastries and two milk teas, the quality and artistry make it worth the occasional splurge. The staff is friendly and genuinely appreciative, adding to the delightful experience. Ari Bakery Cafe is a place I'll definitely be returning to, eager to explore more of their tasty offerings.

The Original SubCafe in Davie is a fantastic spot for breakfast! We were a group of seven, and they seated us quickly despite the busy morning. Our waiter was polite and friendly, although he was the only one serving a full restaurant, so a few things were forgotten. Nonetheless, the breakfast we ordered was delicious. The breakfast combos offer great portions, and I especially loved the egg and cheese croissant. The freshly squeezed orange juice was just right and served in a decent size. This place is truly a hidden gem! It's colorful, stylish, and fun, with decor featuring icons like Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and Elvis. There's even a giant real firebird as a booth! The Philly cheese steak I tried was awesome. The owner has amazing energy and is a very sweet lady, and the staff were all nice. Though the lunch can be a bit pricey for what you get, the sandwiches I've had are pretty good, and the decor makes it an enjoyable spot. After passing by this place for 15 years, my wife and I finally decided to stop in for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The 50's diner ambiance was a pleasant surprise, with beautiful decor and soft music that made us want to dance. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cafe con leche and tostadas were a perfect start to the day. Our server, Gaby, was friendly and gave excellent recommendations. We're already looking forward to returning to try their pastrami sandwiches for lunch. See you all again soon!

Organized chaos really sums up the vibe here during peak breakfast time. The place was buzzing with customers, orders flying in, and yet the kitchen crew handled it all with remarkable calm and efficiency. Our food was fantastic as always, and our server made sure we were well taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect for deep conversations. Waffle House has a reputation that speaks for itself, and I've only got one main point to add. It seems like they've changed their waffle recipe. The waffles were more like pancakes in disguise, not the true waffle texture I was expecting. It wasn't a huge issue, but when I can get a better waffle at a self-service buffet in a two-star hotel, it's a bit concerning. That said, the bacon, eggs, and toast were excellent, though the grits were just okay. I cleaned my plate regardless. The food's great, the service is terrific, and it's all extremely affordable. The staff did an amazing job, and the food was delicious. Julie led the team like a pro, ensuring orders were out quickly and tastily. I love this place, and it's a must-stop whenever I'm passing through Pines late at night. The work ethic here is impressive, and it's the kind of Waffle House that deserves recognition. Just remember, don't mess with the staff—they're great at what they do, but we've all seen what happens when you disrespect Waffle House employees.

We checked out Waffle House for breakfast, and it was our first time at this classic diner. Walking in, we were struck by its nostalgic American diner vibe, complete with counter stools and an open kitchen. It's a scene that's getting rare these days. Even though it was packed, we found a spot for the two of us. The menu had fewer waffle options than I expected, but I went for the special: waffles, eggs, bread, and hash browns. My wife chose the original waffles. Watching the cooks in action was intriguing and gave us faith in our meal. The staff was friendly, and it was impressive how efficiently the cooks managed all the orders in such a compact space. Prices were fair, and while the place was a bit dated, it added to its charm. We both loved the unique waffles, and plenty of parking was a bonus. Overall, Waffle House delivered a nostalgic dining experience with tasty food and friendly service. We’d definitely come back.

Little Hen is a charming spot with a lot to offer for breakfast in Davie. The ambiance is cute and inviting, perfect for both a casual outing or a special occasion. My husband and I were impressed with the food flavors, especially the rose petal pancakes, which were truly outstanding. My husband even said "wow," which is rare for him! The egg white omelette was another hit, and our daughter enjoyed her cheesy omelette as well. The atmosphere is very appealing, with a nice, girly vibe that anyone can appreciate. We visited on a quiet day, and the service was great, but I do recommend making a reservation as it seems to get busy. A bonus is that you can bring your furry friends to the outdoor seating area. The drinks, including a spicy margarita and a rose-infused cocktail, were delightful and added to the overall experience. While it is a bit pricey, the quality and ambiance make it worth it. Little Hen is a super nice place for breakfast or brunch, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Don't miss out on those rose petal pancakes!
