The service was outstanding—Grace was a fantastic server, and everyone working there was warm and inviting. It's a fantastic hidden gem in Eugene. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out. The food is wonderful and the baked goodies are a treat. The Reuben sandwich was exceptional, especially with the homemade Thousand Island dressing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and great service without the wait. The owner is amazing, and this is now my favorite breakfast spot. I can't wait to come back and try the lunch menu. The food options are plentiful and reasonably priced. Alex, who works there, is amazing and really knows his cars, which is a fun bonus. Overall, I've had multiple great experiences here. Despite the busy breakfast rush, our food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Portions are huge, so come hungry! Parking can be a bit challenging with other businesses sharing the lot, but it's usually manageable. Overall, Buddy's Diner offers a lovely atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. On top of that, they offer an array of shakes and are open 24 hours, so great food is available any time. While the diner itself is a bit run down, the friendly staff and delicious food more than make up for the atmosphere. The berry sauce at the table was a delicious surprise. After a long 14-hour trip ending at the Portland airport, we found ourselves at Mandy's at 4 am, and it was the perfect place to stumble upon. Their late-night menu is diverse, and every dish hit the spot perfectly. The coffee was wonderfully strong, and despite our waitress being at the end of her shift, she served us with a smile. The Denver omelet was massive, filled with fresh veggies, and cooked to perfection.

The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, despite being shared with the truck stop. Although I heard the menu had more variety before the recent changes, the current offerings are still solid. The staff truly makes this place special, and despite the changes in ownership, they continue to deliver a wonderful experience.
