I came to Leo's Country Kitchen for breakfast after my workout and was very pleased with the experience. The customer service stood out immediately; the staff had a great rapport with their regulars, recognizing many by name. It’s a family-oriented spot, and you can really feel the welcoming vibe. For breakfast, I ordered steak with eggs, and the steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. The portions were generous, and the endless coffee was a nice touch, making sure my energy levels were up. The prices were reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise given the sizable portions. On another visit, I tried the garden burger with fried zucchini, and both were delicious. The zucchini sticks were huge! My son had the BLT with fries and enjoyed every bite. When we stopped by for lunch, we were seated right away, and the food came out quickly. The waitress was friendly, and everything we ordered was good. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with comfort food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend Leo's Country Kitchen. We’ll definitely be coming back for more.
Nancy May's 50s Cafe

Jordan Leddy
My friend and I meet weekly on Saturdays to discuss everything from politics to religion over coffee and omelets. During a recent visit to Nancy Mae's Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga, we were delighted by the experience. The cafe captures a nostalgic '50s vibe and offers friendly service that made us feel right at home, even on our first visit. Our waitresses and the cook provided outstanding customer service—quick, accurate, and cheerful—making us feel special. The food was like enjoying a comforting meal at home, with generous portions at reasonable prices. The ‘50s decor and music added to the charm, creating a delightful atmosphere. I opted for the Backseat Breakfast Burrito with green salsa and fried jalapeños, while my friend enjoyed a ham omelet. Both dishes were delicious, and the coffee was exceptional for diner standards. The servers were attentive and fun, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I've been to Nancy Mae's a couple of times now, and the service has consistently been impeccable. The cafe's walls are packed with '50s memorabilia, enhancing its rockabilly diner vibe. The menu is large, offering a variety of fresh, well-prepared dishes. The breakfast portions are filling, and the ingredients are fresh, with standout items like sweet-smoked ham steaks. Overall, Nancy Mae’s Cafe is a great spot for breakfast. The food is excellent, but the service is even better. It's a must-visit, especially if you appreciate good food and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!
Lucy's Diner
16157 San Bernardino Ave, Fontana
(909) 822-6669
Caleigh Jimenez Hernandez
Lucy's Diner in Fontana is a fantastic spot for breakfast, and I had a great experience there. The food is delicious, with huge portions that are perfect for a hearty meal. The staff is both helpful and friendly, which makes the dining experience pleasant from start to finish. I was particularly impressed by the aguas frescas—they are amazing! The waffles were super delicious, and the carne asada fries were packed with flavor. One small issue was the AC; it could use a bit of help. It was a hot day, and things got a little stuffy, but that's understandable when it's 98 degrees outside. We ordered via DoorDash and tried a variety of dishes, including the Mediterranean skillet, pancakes, fried eggs, sausage, and a side of hash browns. I enjoyed the hash browns from the skillet, despite the flavors not working perfectly together. My kids mentioned that the pancakes weren't their favorite, but they loved the sausage and hash browns, especially after a sprinkle of seasoning salt. The customer service is incredible. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. There’s often a short wait because the place is popular, but people move in and out constantly, so it’s not a big deal. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and the menu offers a nice, extensive selection beyond the usual fare. I also tried the steak and eggs. The steak had a bit too much gristle, but the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were great. If it weren't for the gristle in the steak, I'd give Lucy’s Diner a perfect score. Overall, I highly recommend Lucy’s Diner for its great food and service, and I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Billy J's Restaurant
9976 Sierra Ave., Fontana
(909) 350-0939
Zinovy Harvey
Billy J's Restaurant provides a solid breakfast experience with some high points that stood out during our visit. We decided to give it a try on a Saturday morning, arriving around 9 a.m. While it was relatively slow at first, things picked up soon after. Despite a nearly-40 minute wait for our food, the service was commendable; our coffee, tea, and hot chocolate cups were consistently refilled, keeping us comfortable during the wait. The highlight was undoubtedly the food. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone enjoyed what they got. The pancakes were thick and fluffy, the French toast soft and delicious, and the omelets were flavorful. The bacon and sausage were crispy, the German potatoes had a nice crunch, and the biscuits with gravy were well-received across the board. Everyone was pleased with the quality of the food. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby amenities like a Dollar Tree, Starbucks, and Rite Aid, making it easy to pop in for breakfast if you're in the area. While the wait was longer than expected, and the bill for two adults and three kids came to $111, which felt a bit steep for breakfast, the overall experience was positive. The food's homestyle touch and attentive service make it worth considering, perhaps on a less busy day or time. We may return to try out more of their updated menu offerings.

Black Bear Diner Colton
1603 W Valley Blvd, Colton
(909) 653-2783
Chris Requena
During a visit to Black Bear Diner in Colton for breakfast, we had the pleasure of sampling a variety of dishes. We ordered the Grizz, the California Benedict, and some chicken from the kids' menu. While I found the pancakes a bit dense and the grits too watery for my taste, everything else was delightful, with a visually appealing presentation. The standout aspect of our experience was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. During a previous visit with my husband two weeks ago, the service and food left such a positive impression that I even asked to keep a piece of their menu for my kitchen décor, as my husband is a chef and our kitchen has a restaurant theme. I laminated it and placed it proudly on the side of our fridge. Two days ago, I had the opportunity to try their lunch, which was equally impressive. The atmosphere, service, and food quality are consistently top-notch. After a long trip, stopping at the diner was the best decision. The staff, particularly Samantha and Shanice, went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great experience. The food truly felt like it was made with love and care. Their banana cream pie is a must-try! I can't recommend this place enough; it feels blessed in every way. If you're in Colton, CA, do yourself a favor and visit Black Bear Diner.
Crestline Cafe

Chi Visco
We absolutely LOVED Crestline Cafe for breakfast! The food and customer service were both amazing, and we can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Roxy for taking great care of us! 😊 I stopped by with a friend for brunch, and the place had a good atmosphere. We arrived around noon and were happy to find they were still serving breakfast. I ordered the machaca, and while the shredded meat was a bit tough, the coffee hit the spot. Overall, I'd rate that meal a 3.5/5, but I'm eager to try their other dishes. The cafe is quaint and has a nice mountain vibe, offering a wide variety of food options. It was also decorated for the holiday, which added a cozy touch. The portions are generous, so it's perfect for sharing. We were with a local who recommended it, and I can see why it's a popular spot. The full stack of blueberry pancakes was great, and the over-medium eggs, sausage, and hash browns were awesome. Our eggs Benedict initially came undercooked, but when we mentioned it, they were quickly remade perfectly. Amber, who was training another server, checked in on us and ensured everything was right, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our meal, and the prices were reasonable, averaging $10-$15 per person. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience.

I had breakfast at Redhill Coffee Shop in Fontana, and it ended up being a delightful experience. The place has a great nostalgic vibe with its retro decor, making it a fun spot to relax in. I ordered the Biscuits & Gravy and was blown away—they were definitely a 6 out of 5 for me! I also tried the Red Hill Omelet, packed with cheese, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions. It was delicious, and the portion size was so generous that I had leftovers to take home. My husband went for the meat lovers option and really enjoyed it too. We couldn't leave without sampling the pancakes, which were simply amazing. The food was satisfying, and while the flavors were more classic than adventurous, it was comforting and delicious. The service at Redhill Coffee Shop was outstanding. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring we felt welcome and attended to. It's a small place, but they do a good job catering to larger parties, though it can be a tight squeeze. The best time to visit is early in the morning, as they do close early. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I plan to return, especially for those pancakes and the warm, friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a breakfast spot with large portions and good service, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
Klatch Coffee Drive Thru

Melissa Mcfarlene
My first visit to Klatch Coffee Drive Thru in Fontana was fantastic. Candice and Dylan at the window were welcoming and efficient. The Show Off sandwich was delicious and fresh, and the coffee truly stands out in quality. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Fontana. When exploring new cities, I always look for local coffee spots, and Klatch did not let me down! They greeted me warmly, patiently answered my questions, and even offered a sample of the intriguing Oatmilk Capp on Tap. The drink is a unique blend of cold brew concentrate, vanilla syrup, and oat milk, and I loved that they make their own syrups. The owner or manager was friendly, chatting with my daughter and me, and even made a custom drink variation for us to try. This coffee shop exemplifies excellent customer service. I tried the crème brûlée blended drink, which was delicious, and the chunk chocolate chip cookies were a delightful treat. Thanks for the great experience, Klatch Coffee—I'll be back for sure!
Chef's Country Cafe

I had a great experience at Chef's Country Cafe for breakfast in Fontana. The food was delicious, and the service was impressive. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of the lunch specials, and we all had leftovers to take home. It's conveniently located across the street from Kaiser Fontana, which made it a perfect stop between my appointments. The host greeted me and seated me quickly, and my waitress was incredibly attentive throughout my visit. The breakfast specials on the menu were a delight. I ordered a simple plate of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a side of oatmeal, and it was really good. The highlight of my visit was the banana nut caramel crepes. They were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The waitress, who was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions, told me she had prepped the plate herself after I wanted to thank the chef. It exceeded my expectations compared to other diners. I'll definitely be returning with my family.

I had breakfast at Corky's Kitchen & Bakery in Fontana, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was top-notch, and I was impressed by how friendly and attentive the staff was, especially Kimberly. She went above and beyond to help me find a healthy option and made me feel welcome, even though the restaurant was busy. The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced, which is always a plus. As someone who usually opts for healthier breakfast spots, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, making it a perfect place to start the day. And I have to mention the Snicker Bar Pie – it's absolutely delicious and has become my favorite treat there. All their desserts, from pies to cookies, are fantastic. Overall, dining at Corky's is always a good idea. The location is clean, and the staff's warmth makes the visit even more enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and indulging in more of their tasty offerings!

He was kind, courteous, and incredibly efficient—managing tables, the register, and cleaning tables. His dedication turned our difficult day into a brighter one. IHOP is fortunate to have someone like Marco on their team. The service was quick and friendly, with Marco constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The pancakes were wonderful as always, bringing back such good memories.
Black Bear Diner Rancho Cucamonga

Laura Dixon
The Black Bear Diner in Rancho Cucamonga is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is both friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Courtney, made our experience memorable with her patience and constant smile, even with our group of eight, including two elders in their 90s. The food is comforting and homey with generous portions, so next time, we plan to share a dish. The steak is especially amazing, cooked to perfection, and the pancakes are just right. Plus, the desserts at the front counter, like the chocolate ice cream cake, are delicious. If I could give this place six stars, I would! The service, especially from Melinda, was outstanding. I highly recommend grabbing a seat and enjoying some great food—I'll definitely be back soon. Peace!

Younghee Ciecior
Absolutely great! The food at IHOP in Fontana was delicious, and the service was impeccable. This place is a must-stop! It's always clean, the staff is friendly, and I came before the rush since it's a busy spot. I ordered the lemon ricotta crepe combo with bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. The crepe was a bit sweet for my taste, but still no disappointment. The hot coffee was excellent, and the waitress was very friendly, even though she forgot our utensils and who ordered what. Overall, I want to thank the staff, especially the cook, for a great meal. IHOP is perfect for a hearty breakfast any time of the day, with fluffy pancakes and a good variety of options. The service is usually quick and friendly, making it a reliable spot when you're craving classic breakfast food. It can get crowded, but it's worth the wait, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.
Farmer Boys
16015 Sierra Lakes Pkwy, Fontana
(909) 854-8233
Amanda Canchasto
Used the drive-through today at Farmer Boys for breakfast in Fontana and was pleasantly surprised. There was no line, so I was in and out quickly with no mistakes on my order. The only downside was the honey mustard; I think it has vegetable oil. Everything else was excellent. I got the Sourdough Chicken Avocado Sandwich, which had 40g of carbs. For anyone on keto, you could eat one half without bread for lunch and the other half with the bread for dinner. I also had half zucchini and half onion rings. Both were breaded, so you know they're delicious. The unsweetened iced tea was refreshing, and the pancake platter with scrambled eggs was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the food was delivered hot to the table, which was nice for a fast food place. I love how they offer a home-style meal at reasonable prices. The Farmer Burger combo was tasty, and the onion rings came in four large pieces. Good food overall, and I have to say, getting free zucchinis for leaving a review? Count me in!
Panera Bread
15258 Summit Ave Suite 100, Fontana
(909) 646-9900
Maycol Soto
I had a great experience at Panera Bread in Fontana for breakfast. The place is clean, and the food and coffee are consistently good. I wish they offered oat milk for coffee, but everything else was spot on. My go-to breakfast includes the asiago cheese bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, and I love the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich and tomato soup in a bread bowl. The avocado-egg-cheese-spinach bagel breakfast is another favorite. During a visit with my girlfriend and our two dogs, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to bring our dogs inside due to the heat, which was much appreciated. Every associate was friendly and helpful, making our lunch experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this Panera location for its great service and atmosphere.
Mimi's Cafe
16933 Sierra Lakes Pkwy, Fontana
(909) 823-0844
Pearl Lobito
Vivien was so kind and efficient during my breakfast visit to Mimi's Cafe in Fontana. This was my second time here, and she's helped both times, always accommodating everything we ask for. She's the best server! The food was great; both the food and service were exceptional. Samantha was also an attentive and friendly waitress, ready to assist with anything we needed. The cafe has a charming "city of New Orleans" style interior, even if the menu doesn't quite match the NOLA vibe. Regardless, the food is still amazing! The service was attentive and excellent, with a fair price tag. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back. Despite the initial slow service likely due to staffing needs, it was a good experience overall. I might wait for them to hire more staff before visiting again, but it didn't take away from the quality of the visit.
Brandon's Diner
17132 Slover Ave, Fontana
(909) 428-3535
Nayeli Carrow
This was my first visit to Brandon's Diner for breakfast, and I really enjoyed it. It's a family-owned place with a cozy, homey vibe. The atmosphere feels comfortable and clean, which made for a pleasant start to the day. My friend and I visited on a Tuesday and discovered it was Taco Tuesday. Although we weren't super hungry, we decided to give the tacos a try. I had two shredded beef tacos and one chicken taco, while my friend went with two shredded beef. The tacos came with lettuce and cheese, and although adding tomatoes cost extra, it wasn't a big deal. The hard shell tacos were good, but I suggested they offer soft shell tacos too, especially for those who might find the hard shells tough to chew. Despite that small hiccup, the rest of the menu looked promising. I couldn't resist trying the pastrami Swiss burger with fries, and it was delicious. The deep-fried zucchini fingers with ranch as an appetizer were fresh and tasty, and the Cobb Salad was well-prepared, though a bit crowded in the bowl. There are so many great options to choose from, including Mexican breakfasts, skillets, and an intriguing mimosa flight. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. I’m already thinking about going back to tackle that enormous burrito they offer. Overall, it's a solid spot for a good meal with a variety of choices. 👍🏼👍🏼 for both food and service, definitely planning another visit to try more menu items!
Starbucks

Damiana Ferrell
I had an amazing breakfast experience at the Starbucks in Fontana. We ordered two mango dragon fruit lemonades—one frozen double blended and the other iced with extra inclusions. Both were absolutely delicious, and we loved how they were made. The wait wasn't long, and the gentleman with brown curly hair at the window was incredibly sweet. Paying 2-something with change was no problem; he was so nice about it! I'm definitely coming back to this location. They added a nice extra touch to our drinks, which we really appreciated. This Starbucks is the best! Every visit is marked by excellent customer service and beautifully prepared orders that taste amazing. The drive-thru experience was also fantastic, thanks to a very sweet gal who helped us. I was assisted by three of the friendliest people—Sam, Emily, and Zendo. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Thank you for the delicious drinks you recommended! Keep up the great service, everyone.
El Gallo Giro
10161 Sierra Ave., Fontana
(909) 355-0273
Tul Agrawal
I had breakfast at El Gallo Giro in Fontana, and I have to say, the experience had its ups and downs. I ordered the Menudo, which had a flavorful broth and tender meat; however, I did encounter an issue with finding several hairs in my dish. While I didn't make a big fuss, it was enough for me to stop eating. On a brighter note, Sylvia, one of the staff members, made our visit memorable with her kindness and hospitality. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The rest of the menu had its strengths and weaknesses. The tortas were decent, though a bit different from what I expected, and the pricing felt a bit steep—$45 for four tortas and $18 for four small drinks. The location itself is quite crowded and small. The setup feels a bit off, but the pan dulce and bolillos were delicious, even if they leaned on the pricey side. We also ordered tacos without onions and cilantro, but they came with both, so we didn't get to enjoy them. The Agua de Lemon with chia seeds wasn't to my taste, but the horchata was sweet and satisfying. Overall, El Gallo Giro offers a mixed experience. While the quality and service could use some tweaking, the warm atmosphere and Sylvia’s exceptional hospitality made it worth the visit.
