It feels like a family here, and they often greet guests by name. I feel so lucky to have found the best coffee in town, and they offer so many yummy options, including sugar-free choices. The local artists' work on the walls adds a special touch, and they're even open on some holidays. This place truly feels like a slice of Paris in Colorado. The food is delicious and the coffee fantastic. The service is always friendly, making it a great place for kids too. My children love the Nutella crepe and the banana-strawberry one. I tried adding scrambled eggs to a vegetarian option, and it was delightful. Although my partner and I weren't initially impressed with the menu, we returned for the bakery and it's become a favorite of mine. The apricot kouign-amann and Ham and Gruyère croissant are must-haves. The pastries, including macarons, are consistently enjoyable. Today, the freshly baked Ham and Gruyère was so gooey and tasty that I couldn't resist eating it before taking pictures. For either takeout pastries or a sit-down breakfast, my wife and I always experience amazing food and service. During our stay at The Elizabeth Hotel, we dined at The Emporium twice—once for dinner and once for brunch—and both experiences were outstanding. For dinner, the cozy ambiance of the main dining room set the perfect tone. Our server, Emily, was exceptional, providing stellar recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. We started with cocktails, and both the Mr. Vida and Harvest Moon were expertly crafted and delicious. The small plates we tried—Bison Tartare, Moules Mariniere, and Brussels Sprouts—were fabulous. Each dish offered unique flavors that we would definitely order again. For large plates, the Salmon En Croute and Scallops Noir were cooked to perfection, with each ingredient enhancing the dish's overall flavor profile. Dessert was a Baileys Cheesecake, a weekend special that was the perfect end to our meal.
