Wendell, who works there, was a delight to chat with; she speaks Tagalog, Japanese, and English and dreams of moving to Hawaii—an island girl at heart. I ordered a Latte, and it was fantastic. I ran into an old colleague I hadn't seen in almost twenty years, which added to the charm of the morning. The lovely Fremont weather and ample parking made the experience even better. The waitress was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. We had longaniza and corned beef, which came with garlic rice and eggs—all delicious and reasonably priced. I'm eager to return to try more from their menu. The cafe is conveniently located at Centerville Train Station and serves both American and Filipino dishes. This was my second visit, and I was intrigued to see they offer Lamb Tocino, a unique twist on a classic dish. Despite a bit of a wait due to kitchen issues, the staff's friendly and apologetic demeanor made it easy to overlook. The small dining space is cleverly themed around trains and transportation, making it a cozy spot to relax. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves quality pastries and well-crafted drinks. The location is decent, though there are some homeless people nearby, but the drinks make up for it. Came here after an early morning hike with a friend, and it felt so good to finally have good coffee! The atmosphere is beautiful with nice plants around, and you can sit with your dog in their spacious outdoor seating area. We tried the chicken pesto crepe and California melt—both were delicious! The signature drinks are a must-try. I visit often, and the food is consistently amazing. The French toast is always a favorite, and I tried the chicken quesadilla for the first time—it was flavorful with a creamy filling. The man working there was cheerful and sweet, making us feel right at home, especially since we’re new to the area. We’ve decided this will be our go-to spot for donuts. The donuts are fresh and taste amazing. This place mainly sells donuts and bagels, and I was intrigued by the combination. I heard it’s a family-owned business, and the enthusiasm of the staff shows they love what they do. While the place could use a bit of cleaning or remodeling, it serves well as a quick stop to grab something delicious. I finally found my breakfast sandwich spot here. The ham, egg, and cheese bagel was perfect from the first bite, and the service was excellent. Since my first visit, I’ve returned a couple more times, and I swear the sandwiches just keep getting better. Without a doubt, the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in the Bay Area. The juices are excellent too, particularly the celery juice and carrot-orange juice. However, I was surprised when I was charged $9.36 for a drink, which seemed higher than usual. This place is a perfect brunch stop in the East Bay. We arrived around noon and were seated right away despite it being the weekend, though they do have a waitlist if needed. I was with a group of four, and we all tried different crepes. The flavor combinations are unique and intriguing—I had the Raspberry Cheesecake Nutella crepe, which was delicious and filling with a large portion. My friends chose various savory options, some of which lasted them another meal. Prices are fair for what you get. Service slowed down a bit when it got busier, but the staff remained kind and helpful. The cute decor added to the experience. The portions are huge, yet the food is light and tasty, making it easy to finish your plate. We tried the club sandwich, bento crepe, and berry crepe, and everything was fresh and delicious. Their black pepper teppon noodles and classic Taiwanese milk tea are authentic and flavorful. The noodles have just the right amount of spice, and the milk tea is thick and milky. The corn chowder is light and refreshing, perfect for starting the day. One of the things I appreciate most is the variety. I usually go for the burgers with eggs, but when I need something quick, the small sandwiches are perfect. The taro and meat floss sandwiches are a fun and delicious twist with sweet and salty flavors. The bread used here is soft and reminds me of Japanese bread, which is a big plus. The breakfast sandwiches, especially the tuna and signature ones, are toasted to perfection. Even on the go, the ham sandwich I got was incredible, with light, addicting bread. Though the business hours are only until 2 pm, the ease of ordering and the quality of the food make each visit worthwhile. My "Hem-bao-tan" street breakfast sandwich was a nostalgic bite, just like being back in Taiwan. While I wish they used the proper paper sandwich sleeve, it doesn't take away from the overall experience. Cafe Mei 美而美 is the perfect place for anyone who loves Taiwanese sandwiches. The food is excellent, with generous portions that often leave me with leftovers to take home. I usually go for the crab cakes Benedict, but this time, I tried the fried chicken Benedict, and it was fantastic. The breakfast options are delicious, and I also enjoy the mimosas. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I tried the crispy chicken sandwich with American cheese, which was excellent. My wife had a patty melt with fried onions that was also really good. Both meals came with tortellini soup, which was a bit sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable. The fries were tasty too. Even though it’s a busy place, especially on weekends, the ambiance is pleasant. The modern interior with its angled ceilings adds a nice touch. I gave the Eggs Benedict a shot, and while I found the runny yolk a bit challenging, it was still a decent choice. There was a small mix-up with a side dish, but it was quickly fixed. Overall, Bill's Cafe provides a great breakfast experience, and I always look forward to coming back.

They kindly customized that for us, although the chicken wasn’t particularly spicy. Despite some minor disappointments, the place was clean, and the service was decent, making it a suitable spot for a late-night meal. The French toast was exceptional—highly recommend it. The servers were nice, although our server mainly spoke Spanish, and my Spanish skills are a bit rusty. Still, they were very friendly and managed to make it work.
