Aromas Restaurant

This was my second visit to Aromas Restaurant for breakfast, and it was just as delicious as the first time! The first time I went, they were serving a buffet, so the food options were a bit limited, but today they had a larger menu. I had the pancakes during my first visit, which were massive and hard to finish, and today I tried the French toast. I definitely recommend both plates! Nycole was very sweet and attentive, making our experience enjoyable. I'll be visiting the sister restaurant next door soon! On a Saturday afternoon, I visited with a group of six, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. The ambiance was exceptional, and the bustling crowd showed this is a popular spot. The food portions were generous, giving us leftovers to enjoy later. Our waiter, Bella, provided outstanding and hospitable service. As visitors from out of town, we were thoroughly impressed and will certainly return during our next visit. I love this place! I usually come alone, but they always make me feel comfortable. The music is great, the food is excellent, and so is the service. Everything we ordered was yummy, and our waitress, Cecilia, was very nice and attentive. It was our first time here, and we will definitely be coming back.
Sunnyside Diner

The food at Sunnyside Diner is awesome, and the pricing is really reasonable. They cooked everything up quickly, and the fruit salad was super fresh. The staff are incredibly kind, offering fantastic customer service. The bathroom is in a bit of a weird spot, but it's generally clean and comfortable. This was my first visit to Sunnyside Diner, and I’ll definitely be going back! The service was excellent, and the place is very clean and well-kept. The portions are spot on and very fair for the price. I had an all-meat breakfast sandwich, while my boyfriend had an all-meat breakfast burrito. We both got a side of biscuits and gravy—applause for their flavors and quality! I highly recommend trying this restaurant; it’s a great place for dining in with family. The breakfast combo, with 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon or sausage, is fantastic. The pancakes are super soft and fluffy, and the bacon and eggs are cooked just right. My husband loved the breakfast burrito with ham, eggs, and potato. Everything is made fresh to order, and breakfast is served all day. We flew in from Washington, needed a quick bite, and stumbled upon the diner. I knew it would be good, as the menu isn't overwhelming and the smells are fantastic. I got the burger with fries, and my husband had the breakfast sandwich with ham. Both were amazing! For the price, I just wish we lived closer. Highly recommended!
Red Apple Cafe

On a trip back from Yosemite, I stumbled upon Red Apple Cafe in Fresno for breakfast. Wow. The staff is super friendly, and the food is great. The country potatoes are especially amazing! I love coming here for breakfast. They do get busy, so be prepared to wait a bit, but it's worth it. The service is always top-notch, and the food never disappoints. My go-to meals are the biscuits and gravy, the homemade country potatoes, and their omelettes. They also offer a few fun adult drinks to try out. One morning, I had some time between appointments and decided to pop in. That first experience was so good that I brought my husband back the next time. It's a nice place to sit down and enjoy breakfast. Although there was a bit of a wait, there were plenty of seats outside, and the line moved quickly. The staff is engaging and friendly. The food may not be spectacular, but it's definitely solid. I recommend Red Apple Cafe to anyone looking for a reliable breakfast spot. You won't be disappointed.
Chubby's Diner
6451 N Blackstone Ave, Fresno

Awesome spot! I've never been to one before, but apparently there are several around. Chubby's Diner in Fresno was a delightful surprise for breakfast. The menu was way bigger than you'd expect, especially the burger options, which were amazing! I ordered the guacamole burger but asked for sliced avocado instead. Although they didn't allow medium rare, my medium-cooked burger was fantastic. The fries alongside were just as impressive, all at a price that beats fast food places like Carl's Jr. and is actually cheaper! For me and a coworker, the bill was about $42, which included both our burgers, coffee, and a milkshake for him. It's a great place that hits you with some serious nostalgia. With only a few Chubby's left in Fresno, it's a treat to enjoy their authentic, no-frills diner breakfast and the cozy 50's/60's atmosphere. You can tell it's a favorite spot for many regulars. The food was tasty, and the Spanish scramble had a nice spicy kick. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast options like the California omelette and the waffle combo were delicious. The huge menu offers lots of choices without feeling overwhelming. While they don't serve alcoholic beverages, they do have tomato juice. I personally loved the hash and eggs, and every plate I saw being delivered looked tempting. We arrived early on a Sunday, around 8:30 am, and got a table right away. I'm looking forward to going back!

We discovered Al's Café in Fresno during a visit to some nearby national parks, and it quickly became a favorite spot for breakfast. The family atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. On our first visit, we were greeted by a cheerful server who made our experience even better. While we initially ordered a typical breakfast, we couldn't help but notice many people enjoying the menudo. We had to try it, and it was amazing—100% recommended! Each visit to Al's Café has been enjoyable. I’ve brought different friends, and everyone loves the food and the vibe. Trying the Philly was a highlight—it did not disappoint! We’ve been here twice for brunch, where the portions were huge and the flavors outstanding. The steak and fajitas are definite must-tries. On our third visit, we explored more of the menu. The steak omelette with steak fajitas, beans, and rice was just as tasty as we remembered. The tuna salad was surprisingly good, with generous scoops of tuna on a fresh bed of lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and a hard-boiled egg. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and though the chilaquiles didn’t meet our expectations—they were more like chips—the pancakes made up for it. If you're in the area, Al's Café is a stop you don’t want to miss. We'll definitely be coming back again!
Batter Up Pancakes
8029 N Cedar Ave, Fresno

Carter Glory
Batter Up Pancakes is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Fresno. The food is great, and though the prices are on the high side, it's definitely worth it. The bacon and ham were packed with flavor, and the whole grain corn cakes were a delightful surprise. While the French toast was decent, it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. We shared a carafe of fresh-squeezed orange juice, and it was absolutely refreshing and worth every penny. For our birthday celebration, they brought out whipped cream with a candle, which was a nice touch, even if it wasn't particularly exciting. Despite the holiday crowd on the Fourth of July and the sizzling heat, the 45-minute wait felt reasonable. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, and it was clear everyone was enjoying themselves. Our waitress added to the experience with her genuine friendliness, and the food was served just right. We indulged in the chile verde omelet, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon roll pancake, and the regular pancake. Every single dish was delicious and generously portioned! Overall, Batter Up Pancakes offers a delicious breakfast experience with a lively vibe. Even with a bit of a wait, the food and the fun atmosphere make it all worthwhile.
The Train Depot

DELICIOUS breakfast and great service! We were thrilled to stop by The Train Depot during our visit to Fresno. I ordered the chicken fajita omelette, and my husband opted for the breakfast burrito—both were absolutely amazing. Based on recommendations, we also tried the cinnamon roll, which was HUGE and incredibly tasty! While the biscuits and gravy weren't the best I've ever had, they were homemade and still quite good. The place is adorable with its train-themed decor, perfectly done without being over the top. We visited on a busy Sunday after church, and despite the 25-minute wait, it was completely worth it. The staff was fantastic, working seamlessly as a team, so we never felt neglected. The Train Wreck I ordered was a hearty, delicious meal that left me satisfied for the rest of the day. This spot is a staple in Fresno, and it's easy to see why it has such a strong following. From fluffy pancakes to perfectly cooked chicken fried steak, the food here is consistently excellent. The service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly, making it one of my all-time favorite breakfast spots. Overall, The Train Depot delivers great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding food. Can't ask for more!

I checked out Fresno Breakfast House for brunch and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The service was exceptional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere, complete with natural elements, created a warm and inviting space. They had live music, which added to the awesome vibe, and the patio space was perfect for enjoying a meal. Loved the drinks at the bar, and the food hit the spot. Met some friends here for a birthday breakfast, and they even brought out a little birthday waffle, which was a cute touch. The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but it was hot and fresh. Special shoutout to Cheyenne, who made our visit even better. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a great breakfast spot. Can't wait to come back!

First time at Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch in Fresno and I'm already planning my next visit! Everything was amazing, from the delicious southern-style food to the quick and friendly service. Portion sizes are quite large, so I'd recommend going easy on the appetizers. I ordered eggs, taters, and toast, and though a bit greasy, everything was cooked just the way I wanted. My mom had the chicken strips, which she enjoyed. The atmosphere was delightful, like a little slice of southern heaven right here in California. Plus, they recognize military service members, which I truly appreciate. We also tried the Mardi Gras beignets, fried green tomatoes, and stacked chicken and waffles—absolutely scrumptious! Don't miss out on the swamp tea with huckleberries. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic, down-to-earth, and made us feel right at home. We even compared their beignets to Café Du Monde in New Orleans, and I'd have to say Huckleberry's comes out on top! If you're looking for amazing food and a welcoming vibe, go to Huckleberry's. You won't regret it!

I had a great experience at Black Bear Diner in Fresno for breakfast. The diner has a charming rustic decor, and the menu offers numerous food choices with fast service. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, which I really appreciated. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. Although the parking lot isn't very large, there is plenty of shared parking available nearby since it’s in a retail park with other businesses. The restaurant itself is quite spacious inside. I ordered one of the specials, and it turned out to be a fantastic value for the amount and quality of food. My waiter was professional and polite, which added to the positive experience. This was my first visit, and I was very impressed by both the service and the cleanliness of the place. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak with red potatoes, and the Cali omelet with bacon and cheese hashbrowns. Everything was so tasty! If I find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely stop by. I highly recommend trying it out!

I wish they had a location on the east coast! Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch offers a great variety of delicious food, and the service is nice and fast. My group of four got lucky getting seated right after arriving on Sunday at 11am. We went for breakfast, and I ordered the steak and eggs along with a huckleberry muffin. The service regularly came by to refill our coffee, which was appreciated. The restroom was clean, and the atmosphere had a charming southern feel. Everyone was welcoming and kind, and everything came out quickly, great and delicious. One of the employees was attentive enough to bring me lots of napkins when I spilled some coffee on myself. We enjoyed breakfast, but the lunch dishes looked tempting, and I'm definitely coming back to try them. The food here is southern inspired, and it's honestly my favorite place in Fresno. I've been coming since the first week they opened, and I love every single employee there. They always remember my order and recognize my voice when I call for takeout. My food never takes long to be ready, and it's always fresh. I always leave as one happy customer!
Irene's Café

I can't say enough good things about Irene's Café for breakfast in Fresno. The food is absolutely scrumptious, and the service is some of the best I've experienced in a long time. The café offers a beautiful view of the Tower District from inside, and sitting outside is a treat with all the local festivities happening around. The staff is amazing and incredibly polite, always friendly and attentive even when the place is busy. I've already been here twice in the same week and plan to keep coming back. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, perfect for dining alone or with friends. The patio is a great spot for people-watching while sipping on what I believe are the best Mimosas in Fresno. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I especially appreciate seeing the owners working alongside their team, which truly reflects their dedication. Supporting local businesses like this one is important, and Irene's Café is totally worth it. It's a chill and classic diner in a fantastic location. From the warm greeting when you walk in to the great service throughout, my visit was wonderful. I tried the country fried chicken breakfast, which was incredibly tasty and perfectly portioned. The coffee was excellent too. Although the old diner booths are a bit worn, don't let that discourage you—the food arrives hot, well-seasoned, and in large portions. This place is a gem!
Yosemite Falls Café
4020 N Cedar Ave, Fresno

Chingolero Baraza
I went to Yosemite Falls Café in Fresno for breakfast to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time. Although our server, Kimberly, had a bit of trouble with the menu details, the overall atmosphere of the place was inviting and cozy. We were seated immediately, which was nice, and the prices were decent. The Denver omelette I ordered was tasty, and while it could have used a bit more meat, the flavors were spot on. My wife's BLTA sandwich was satisfying, and despite the bread being a bit hard, the fresh ingredients made up for it. The pancakes were a little tough, but they still hit the spot with a good amount of syrup. While there were some hiccups with our cocktails not being part of the happy hour and the sampler platter mix-up, these small issues didn't overshadow our experience. The band Jaded was playing that night, and they were fantastic, adding a lively vibe to our visit. Overall, the food was good, and the service was okay despite some confusion. It was a nice place to start our day, and I would consider coming back for breakfast again, especially to enjoy more live music from their talented bands.

A friend of mine suggested trying Yosemite Falls Cafe for breakfast, and I'm glad we did. This place is definitely underrated. While we initially visited for dinner on a Saturday night and enjoyed a live band in the bar section, breakfast here is just as impressive. The portions are huge and can satisfy any appetite. One of my favorites is their biscuits and gravy—truly delicious. The friendly and prompt staff adds to the experience, and I appreciate the ample parking and handicap-accessible seating. Sunnie, our server, was exceptional—polite and friendly, she really made our visit special. In the past, we’ve tried their dinner options like the petite New York steak, which was cooked perfectly to my liking, though the baked potato needed a bit more time. Despite a few minor hiccups, the service was always decent. The menu offers a variety of great options, and I can’t recommend "The Falls Sampler" enough. The Ribeye Steak from that sampler was top-notch. Although it’s not close to home, I’d love to come back more often, especially for their breakfast offerings. My family enjoyed our visit, and I’m looking forward to trying their brunch sometime. Overall, it’s always a good time at Yosemite Falls Cafe.

I've always heard about the classic American diner experience, but I didn't fully appreciate it until I stepped into Denny's for the first time. The warm, welcoming atmosphere immediately felt like home. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel part of their community. The food? Amazing. The vegetarian omelette with no cheese, unbuttered toast, and hashbrown combo quickly became my go-to meal. It's simple and hearty, embodying the essence of a true diner. Every visit, the same order, and it never disappoints. This Denny's holds a special place in my heart. I've found a little piece of Americana here. The food is consistently good, even late at night, and the service is always efficient. We were seated promptly, received our drinks quickly, and our waitress took great care of us. The place is clean, and the staff makes sure you have everything you need. The quality and speed of the food preparation continue to impress me. This location never disappoints. Loving it!

The service is always prompt and helpful, making every visit a pleasure. I'm especially impressed with how quickly and efficiently the staff operates, even when we stopped by at 3 a.m. before heading to Yosemite National Park. The food is consistently good, and Ryan, one of the servers, stands out for his attentive and friendly service. He's the best server I've encountered here, not overbearing but always making sure everything is right. I'll definitely be coming back, hoping to see him and enjoy another great meal. Mimi's Cafe for breakfast in Fresno was a delightful experience. The restaurant has a charming ambiance that feels perfect for a leisurely brunch, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I was there on a Friday morning around 11 AM and was seated promptly, which set the tone for a pleasant meal. I ordered the berry crepes with eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage, and the crepes were the standout—rich in flavor and absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and arrived quickly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was excellent, with friendly staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. While I've tried various dishes, including the French Dip, which was tender and flavorful, the berry crepes have secured their spot as my favorite. The menu offers plenty of options that cater to different tastes, with the chicken pot pie and butter toffee cake being other highlights. Overall, Mimi's Cafe is a solid choice for brunch in Fresno, and I look forward to returning. It's a great spot if you're looking for good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
