Great coffee and kind service are what make Stomping Grounds Coffee House: Drive Thru my top pick for breakfast in Gresham. Although the wait was about 30 minutes, it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others in the area. They offer a fantastic range of flavors, including seasonal ones like peppermint, and they’re happy to customize drinks to your liking. I love that they have monthly specials you can tweak to your preference. This time, I got an iced mocha with lavender cold foam, and it was delicious! Plus, there are plenty of alternative milk options. They also have weekly specials, and Fridays are my favorite because teachers and students get $1 off drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient; if a line builds up, they come out to take orders faster. They even offer punch cards, so after buying 10 drinks, the 11th is free. Even when things haven’t gone perfectly, like when I bought a thermos and discovered the straw was missing, the owner handled it quickly and without any hassle. Their coffee is the best, and I look forward to every visit. Their scones are also amazing, and I usually end up getting both a maple and a berry scone because they’re both too good to pass up. Today, the young lady at the drive-thru went above and beyond. My six-year-old shared about getting a fish, and she put sprinkles and drew little fish on the lid of her drink. It made my daughter's day. Thanks for always making our visits special.

This morning, I visited Legacy Coffee Company in Gresham for breakfast and had a great experience. I ordered a latte and the vegan English muffin deluxe, and both were excellent. The latte wasn't too sweet but still full of flavor, and the food was just what I wanted for a quick start to my day. Their matcha is the best in Gresham, and I highly recommend trying it with macadamia milk. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the cozy, gamer-inspired atmosphere. The shop is spacious and cute, with comfortable seating for everyone, including tables, chairs, couches, and even a space for kids. The space is open, relaxed, and filled with natural light, making it a great spot to meet up with friends. Though the parking lot was a bit full, I found a spot easily and noticed that street parking might be more convenient for larger vehicles. I also tried a simple bagel with cream cheese and a lavender honey tea, both reasonably priced and delicious. The service was prompt with no wait when I arrived mid-morning on a Wednesday. I loved the community quilt on the wall where you can color a square, adding a personal touch to the place. Overall, Legacy Coffee Company is an excellent coffee shop that really cares about their coffee, whether you're after a great roast or a sweet treat. I'll definitely be back!

I finally tried Nanna's Place for breakfast in Gresham, and it was amazing. Every time I drive by, the parking lot is packed, and now I know why. You order your breakfast first and then find a seat, which didn’t bother me at all. Just be ready with your order if you're with a group. I’ve been craving chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. The staff was super polite and friendly, making me feel like a regular. They write your name on a cute little chalkboard in a mini planter—a neat idea! I ordered hot chocolate, and it was awesome. My food arrived quickly and looked great. The eggs (over medium) were cooked perfectly, as well as the home fries—not over or undercooked. The chicken fried steak was phenomenal, clearly scratch-made, as was the sausage gravy. The name on the board was used to tell the staff where and who I am, which really added to the experience and made me feel valued. This is definitely my new go-to breakfast spot, and I’m excited to try more of their menu. The waitstaff were incredibly kind, and the food was delicious! We got the platter with added potatoes, which was 10/10, and my husband got the chicken fried steak, which was also 10/10. We both agree it’s one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! Highly recommend it. The service was friendly, the food was amazing, and we were so delighted by the pumpkin cinnamon roll. As Floridians, we felt so welcome. We also tried the steak chilaquiles, taco omelette, and the cookie dough s’mores cinnamon roll. Everything was the perfect temperature, texture, and flavor. The ambiance, with its bee theme, is amazing—even the bathrooms are bee-themed. I love that you pay before being seated, so you can just leave when you're done. The staff is so nice, warm, and welcoming. I would definitely go back!

The tacos at Gresham Burrito Shop are awesome! We tried this place based on a recommendation, and we're so glad we did. The pricing is very reasonable, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The restaurant is spotless, which makes the dining experience even better. While we just bought individual tacos, you can also order plates. We highly recommend giving them a try. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again. The breakfast burritos are incredible—only around $7 for a high-quality burrito packed with meat, which is a steal compared to paying $30 for two at my usual spot. The service was great, the food was great, and the price was great! If you like onions and bell peppers, the Macho is a must-try; it's almost like a fajita-style breakfast burrito. I also tried the Machaca Breakfast Burrito with some salsa verde, and it was delicious. Prices remain reasonable, and the service continues to impress. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Best fajitas ever! The tacos were amazing, and the chips and salsa were super fresh—spicy but just right! The rice was phenomenal too. It was 12:45 pm on a Wednesday, and the place wasn't crowded at all. Everything was clean, and the young lady at the counter was very nice and polite. We ordered chicken taquitos and a carne asada taco combo plate. The food was delicious, and their hot sauce is actually spicy, which I would give a million more stars for! My only suggestion would be to have the chicken in some kind of sauce since it was just a tad dry and bland inside the taquitos. Other than that, we'll definitely be adding this place to our regular rotation. Walking in, we were greeted warmly, and the atmosphere was very friendly. The food is delicious, everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. For this kind of service and food, the price is unbeatable. Can't wait to come back with my family! If you want something fancy, this isn't the place for you, but if you're after good, authentic Mexican food, this is a great spot. Prices are reasonable, and they offer indoor seating. Only gave 4 stars because my husband didn't get full with his carne asada serving. The portions aren't bad, but they are less than what you might get elsewhere.

There are plenty of food options to explore, and everything is reasonably priced, even the cool merchandise they have like cups and t-shirts. One of the highlights for me was the variety in seating and the ease of accessing WiFi, which made it a good spot for my meeting. I’m excited to return to try more of their menu. However, the furniture could use a bit of an update. While some seating is comfy, it feels a bit worn and could be refreshed to enhance the inviting vibe. Also, more power outlets would be helpful for those of us who like to get some work done while sipping on our drinks. Overall, it’s a dependable coffee shop with delicious drinks and nice service. Despite a few areas for improvement, I had a great experience, and the pricing is definitely fair. Looking forward to coming back and trying more!

Walking into Hope's Café feels like stepping into my grandmother's kitchen. The atmosphere is inviting, with a friendly staff always ready with a warm smile. But most importantly, the food is amazing. It's hands down the best bakery in town. The gluten-free options are impressive and taste just as good as the regular items. I absolutely love this place. You won't regret ordering one of their brownies. In autumn, they had a pumpkin cinnamon roll that was to die for. One day, while I was next door getting some bakery goods, my hunger got the best of me, and I ended up walking in for breakfast and snacks. The super friendly staff and delicious food caught me by surprise. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day for breakfast, and now my wife insists this will be our new go-to breakfast spot. If you're looking for authentic handmade food and baked goods with a peaceful local vibe, this is it. Hope's Café is quickly becoming an absolute favorite of mine. Earlier this month, I got my birthday cake from here, and it was delightful. The service is consistently amazing. I've been served by the same wonderful woman several times, and she always goes above and beyond. Hope's Café is an affordable gem in the Gresham area. Whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, the food hits the mark every time. Personally, I love the weiner wraps. Plus, they offer a variety of gluten-free and dairy-free options. As someone who's always on the hunt for a great burger, stumbling upon The Local Cow in Gresham was a true delight! Parking can be a bit tricky, but we found a spot just down the block, and it was absolutely worth the short walk. The place is cozy and packed, which is always a good sign. We got seated quickly, and our server was on top of things from the get-go, handling our water and appetizer order within minutes. We kicked off with the fried pickles, which were hands down the best I've ever had. They were perfectly breaded and still retained a nice crunch. They came out piping hot, but that didn't stop us from devouring them. I went for the Moo Melt with a sunny side up egg and the Cow Fries, while my husband and siblings opted for the Pendleton. The burgers were absolutely delicious, though I found the Cow Fries a bit too garlicky for my taste. Still, everything else made up for it! The atmosphere is lively, with an open kitchen that lets you watch your meal being prepared. There's also outdoor seating for those sunny days. Prices feel fair for the quality you're getting, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. My kids loved their meals too – grilled cheese for one and cheeseburgers for the others, which they thoroughly enjoyed. On our second visit, I tried a double patty, and it was just the right move. Massive and satisfying! My wife raved about the taco salad, claiming it was one of the best she’s ever had. The cheese balls and Cajun fries also deserve a shoutout, especially with their tasty fry sauce. Overall, The Local Cow is a fantastic spot for anyone craving a juicy, flavorful burger, and the service really adds to the experience. It's similar to a mom-and-pop version of Killer Burger but with its own unique twist. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try!

One dish that we really enjoyed was the German pancake with lingonberry butter, accompanied by 2 eggs, bacon, and chicken applewood sausage links. We shared the plate, and it was more than enough. Although the food is a bit pricey for the quality, the portions are hearty, and the atmosphere is nice. We also tried the veggie omelet and the Denver omelet. Both were large and fluffy, though the veggie omelet could have used more veggies, and the hollandaise sauce was lacking in flavor. The biscuits were amazing, and the hash browns had a nice golden top. While some dishes were underwhelming, like the German pancake and egg bowl, the fast and friendly service made the visit enjoyable. The food was delicious, although a bit pricier than other breakfast spots we've visited recently. The seasonal fruit was especially ripe and tasty. The decor is what sets this place apart—the mugs near the hostess stand are cute, and the wall art is simply great. My friend and I decided to try this spot on a whim. Despite being hungry, we were seated quickly and served by a very friendly waitress. To our surprise, the food arrived quickly, even though the place was quite busy. I had the Huevos Rancheros and thoroughly enjoyed it. Initially, I thought the portion was smaller than I'm used to, but as soon as we left, I realized I was full and satisfied. Sweet Betty’s consistently delivers with a solid menu and exciting specials, especially the cocktail specials, which are always a treat. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff is attentive and friendly—it's easily the best breakfast spot in all of East County. The vegetable omelet was tasty, though a tad dry, while the pancakes were good and the French fries were some of the best I've had. I'd probably skip the grilled ham and cheese sandwich next time. Overall, I love this place! The unique items available around the restaurant for purchase add an interesting touch to the experience. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit for breakfast or brunch.

The service stood out; our server was very pleasant and always had a smile, making the dining experience enjoyable. The cashier was also polite and professional, which added to the positive vibe. The atmosphere at Elmer's is comfortable and spacious, making it an ideal spot for hosting larger parties for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's handicap-friendly and kid-friendly, which is a plus. The staff is friendly, making the place feel a bit upscale in a welcoming way. Overall, it's a decent spot with large servings and a pleasant atmosphere.

During a trip to a lavender farm, we decided to stop in for breakfast at Sweet Betty's Bistro, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice.

Polar King in Gresham is a gem for breakfast. The homemade meal and comfortable atmosphere make it a spot worth returning to. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the ice cream and shakes are definitely on point. I had the pleasure of hanging out with some older folks while watching team USA win gold and Italy earn silver at the Olympics, which added a unique touch to the experience. I ordered the country fried steak with hash browns and a pancake, and it was so delicious and abundant that I almost forgot to take a picture. The country fried steak could have been a bit more tender, but it was still enjoyable down to the last bite. Plus, the coffee was good and my cup stayed full until I was ready to leave. Spending time and money here was a wise choice, and it was truly a lovely experience. Polar King offers a fun, retro local hangout atmosphere. If you're in the area, I suggest trying their bacon cheeseburger and tots. This little restaurant and lounge has an old-fashioned diner vibe, the food is consistently great, and prices are very reasonable. And if you're a biscuit lover, you're in for a treat!

My first visit to the Black Bear Diner in Gresham was a delightful experience. After signing up for the Bear Lovers E-Club, I received a coupon for a free Bear’s Choice since it was my birthday month. I opted for the sweet cream waffle with eggs and sausage links—everything was cooked perfectly. The waffle was a little crispy, buttery, and had an adorable paw print stamped on it. The atmosphere is fun and family-friendly, with cute and entertaining bear-themed decor. I would rate Black Bear above Denny's and IHOP in terms of food quality. It has a family-owned vibe that felt inviting and warm. They also offer their own house hot sauces, cleverly themed based on their spiciness level. Service was fast and attentive. I didn't have to wait long for my food, and they kept my coffee refilled. While I wished for a slightly higher-quality coffee, it was decent enough if you need a fix. Overall, it's a fun restaurant that I would recommend for families. I'm excited to join the passport club and plan to visit other locations to see the consistency and vibe. It had been years since my last visit, and I'm very pleased with the experience. Andrea, our waitress, ensured everything was perfect. The staff was accommodating with my service dog, seating us in a booth even though we had to wait a bit since it was a busy weekend morning. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere felt like having lunch with family. We were early birds that morning, arriving right when they opened, and the outstanding service made the morning even better. I'm a happy Big Bear today, thanks to the team at the Gresham location.

First time coming to Jazzy Bagels, and I absolutely loved it! As I walked in, the sound of a live piano filled the air, bringing a smile to my face. I ordered the BLT on a jalapeño asiago bagel, which was really delicious. Still hungry, I tried the Classic Breakfast Bagel Sandwich with eggs and bacon—so good. Customer service was perfect, and the atmosphere was amazing. Prices were spot-on, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there before. Jazzy Bagels is a staple in downtown Gresham, offering fresh and flavorful bagels. I’ve never had a bad bagel here; my favorite is the cheddar. Buying them can seem a bit pricey, but they’re worth it, especially since they’ll slice them for you. I also got the Classic Breakfast with Bacon on a cheddar bagel, and it was tasty. Some staff seem a bit snobby, but most are nice. When you visit, order at the bagel counter, then take your receipt to the register to pay. It can get busy, but the bagels are really awesome. The place itself is bright, cheery, and offers free Wi-Fi. My only issue is that it’s pretty dirty in the customer area. The tables, chairs, and floors often aren’t cleaned well, and there’s dust on the piano. Cleaning more often would make this a 5-star spot. Despite that, the bagels are the best in the Portland/Gresham area—never dry, perfectly dense, and packed with flavor. The whipped cream cheese is fantastic too. Great bagels and schmears, decent smoothies, but the coffee could be better. It gets packed on weekend mornings, but it’s worth the wait if you’re not in a rush.

Great food and superb service make Biscuits Cafe in Gresham a truly delicious spot for breakfast. It's no wonder they've held the Readers' Choice title for several years running. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I found there were two vegan choices: the vegan French toast and a vegan breakfast burrito. While there weren't any sandwich or burger options, the dishes available were satisfying. I also ordered a side of hashbrowns, which were delightful, although they arrived a bit late. The service was top-notch, and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing meal with perfect service. I've ordered through delivery several times, but eating in this morning was even better. Our server was delightful, and when a small issue arose out front, the staff handled it smoothly. Plus, they have cute coffee mugs for sale. I'll definitely be back!
