Absolutely the best breakfast in Waikiki! The B.E.A.S.T. breakfast sandwich was so incredible that we went back the next day, and we were greeted warmly, as if we were locals. My son couldn't get enough of the pancakes either. I highly recommend this spot! We ended up eating at Munch 'N Brunch twice on our trip because we just couldn't stay away. The Waikiki B.E.A.S.T. sandwich was packed with bacon, egg, avocado, spam, red onion, and the most delicious combo of Kasundi sauce and mayonnaise on a toasted English muffin. Due to an allergy, we had ours without tomato, but it still tasted incredible. The blend of savory flavors and creamy textures was perfect, and the Kasundi sauce added such a unique twist. We also tried the hangover burrito, tacos, and quesadilla, and they were all fantastic! Coming from California, we can be pretty picky, but the meat was tender and the spices were on point. It's definitely worth the visit! The food is outstanding, but the service really sets this place apart. It's worth getting up early and taking a stroll to this food truck. What a gem!

After a long flight, we stopped in for breakfast at Liliha Bakery and it was amazing. The food was prepared right in front of us, which added to the experience. I had the BLT with avocado and it was perfect—the bacon was cooked just right and the croissant was delicious. My husband went for the fried rice and eggs, and he loved it just as much. The mac nut waffle was so good that I’d definitely order it again. It didn’t have much mac nut flavor, but it was perfectly crispy and delicious even without syrup. The fresh berries on the side were a nice touch. The garlic fried rice was also a great choice, and our daughter couldn’t get enough of the fried potatoes. The whole place had an old-school diner vibe that made the breakfast feel extra special. We agreed it was the best breakfast we had all week. Man, when I tell you I love this place, I love this place! Café Kaila has totally won me over. I've been living on the island for over two years, and I've been coming here since day one. Every visitor from the mainland gets a trip here because it's hands down the best breakfast spot in town. The service is excellent—everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I tried the chicken and waffles this time. Although the chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, the syrup was like candy and helped balance things out. My wife went for the Hawaiian breakfast and a local scramble, both of which she enjoyed. She also got the croissant sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. What keeps me coming back are the generous portions, reasonable prices, and the fact that they offer free refills on iced coffee. The waffles, French toast, and scrambled eggs are consistently delicious. The atmosphere is lovely, and the wait isn’t too long. The service, the food, and the vibe are all a 12/10 for me. It's not in the touristy area, which is a plus. Just make your way here, and you won’t regret it. Next time, I'm going for that breakfast wrap!

One of the most challenging aspects of traveling can be finding high-quality food, but Aloha Kitchen in Waikiki made it easy. This place is definitely one of the best, especially for breakfast. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our meal—the taste, the quality of the ingredients, and the service were all exceptional. It's worth the wait in line, and I would 100 percent recommend it! The breakfast offerings are delicious, but the coconut souffle is an absolute must-try. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and energetic, which added to the overall positive experience. While you can expect to wait around 30 minutes to an hour, it's similar to other spots in the area, even places like IHOP. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice! If you choose one breakfast spot, this is worth getting up early for or waiting in line for, even after 8:00 am. Despite the line, it moves quickly, and the food arrives promptly. The service was amazing, and the restaurant itself is such a cute place. The food was over-the-top delicious, making it a standout for any breakfast lover. Aloha Kitchen is a gem in Waikiki, and I can't recommend it enough!

Absolutely 10 out of 10 for everything at Koko Head Cafe, especially the food and the service! We had a random Monday off work and decided to celebrate by trying out a new place. Right from the start, we were greeted with a smile by the hostess who quickly seated us. Our server arrived shortly after to tell us about the specials and took our drink order. We started with the dumplings on the server's recommendation, and they were crispy and flavorful—absolutely delicious! We could have easily devoured two plates. For our main dishes, my husband ordered the Koko Moko, I had the Corn Flake French Toast, and our son enjoyed the ricotta pancakes with fruit. We shared everything, and it was all fantastic. The staff was outstanding—everyone seemed genuinely happy and worked well together. Plates were cleared quickly, and there was a positive vibe among the team. We didn’t mind the 5% kitchen fee at all; it was worth it for such great food and service. Parking was convenient and inexpensive in a safe, private lot next to the restaurant. On our way out, a friendly gesture from a staff member made us feel appreciated. We can’t wait to bring our family back here soon. Koko Head Cafe is hands down one of my favorite breakfast spots, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Honolulu!

If you're in Honolulu, it's worth the 20-minute drive from Waikiki – you won't regret it! Having been to their location in Michigan, I can say this island spot offers the best food. The pancakes are light and airy, and the whipped butter is a perfect addition. Be prepared for a busy spot. You sign in on a clipboard as there's no host, and the wait can be long, around 45 minutes to be seated and a bit more to get your food. Even with the wait, it's worth it. I indulged in coconut and pineapple pancakes with scrambled eggs, and while the coconut flavor was subtle, the pineapple pancakes with tropical syrup were hot and tasty. The coffee was a delightful complement to the meal. This nostalgic café offers a great atmosphere and even better food. I also tried the pecan pancakes with shredded coconut, and they were delightful. Despite the added wait time and the price, the experience was enjoyable and memorable.

The Adobo Rice was also really good. The service might benefit from a dedicated person for serving coffee, but it's clear the staff are working hard to keep the quality high. I had the best iced Americano, hands-down. The small free parking lot is usually full, but there's free street parking available. We also liked the selection of juices for mimosas and some local beers. Though it was a bit crowded and noisy inside, sitting on the breezy patio was just perfect. My friends and I enjoyed it so much we came back two days in a row. Absolutely loved the food!

The outdoor dining setup in the park adds to the charm, though be aware that the public restrooms are sandy and lack soap and towels, but that's no fault of the restaurant. The food and setting are excellent, and I loved it so much that I went back a second time for another round of smoothies. The garlic shrimp and Hawaiian BBQ chicken sandwich were absolutely delicious. This place is right on the beach, and while it's popular and you might have to wait in line to order, the food comes out quickly. Sharing a table with another couple, listening to the live band, and watching people dance made for a memorable experience. For a fantastic date night, this place ticks all the boxes. The vegan fried rice was one of the best I've ever had. The laid-back vibe and beautiful view of catamarans and surfers make it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

During my visit, I had the Island Eggs Benedict with Spinach and Bacon, and my wife opted for the Very Mix Berry Big Island Bread French Toast. We both loved the Okinawan Purple Potatoes. Everything was delicious, making it one of the best breakfasts I've had. We ended up going back four times during our stay because the food and atmosphere were just that good. The location is convenient, within walking distance of places like the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. Be prepared to sign up on the waiting list, but the turnaround is quick, and it's definitely worth it. The breakfast of bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. Plus, they offer unlimited drink refills, which was a bonus. The second visit was for dinner. We ordered chicken tenders and wings, which were decent, though slightly overcooked, and the breading tasted a bit oily. Despite this, the staff remained great, and we finished our meal. Prices were reasonable, and while some food items were unavailable due to kitchen shortages, the staff managed the situation well. While I did encounter a hair in my toast, the staff addressed it by taking that meal off the bill after talking to the front host. Overall, Denny's felt like a place with hardworking staff and decent food, and while there were some hiccups, the initial breakfast experience and service stood out positively.
