Steadfast Cafe in Huntington Beach is a super cool hidden gem that I stumbled upon while waiting for my bike to be serviced. The food is crazy good, especially if you’re looking for a light, healthy breakfast. I tried the blueberry grilled cheese and paired it with a honey vanilla cinnamon latte—both were incredible. The cafe has a cool coffee vibe that makes it a perfect spot to sit back and relax. I was so impressed that I came back with my family during our vacation in Huntington Beach. The service and food were consistently great, especially the coffee, which I really loved. It can get crowded around lunchtime, but there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating available. The coffee and counter service were pretty good, although I found the ultimate breakfast croissant a little disappointing as it was chewy and stale, even though the filling and aioli were tasty. Despite that, I’d definitely come back for the coffee and the excellent menu options. Parking is convenient with an adjoining lot. Overall, Steadfast Cafe is a cute and cozy breakfast spot in Huntington that you must try if you're in the area. With its great coffee flavor combinations, milk options, and food offerings, you won't be disappointed.

Northside Cafe in Huntington Beach is a fantastic spot for breakfast, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a nicely made breakfast burrito or maybe a flauta. The burrito is super clean, not greasy at all, and absolutely delicious. The coffee bar is a highlight, offering organic coffee and a delightful Mexican coffee with a hint of cinnamon. The interior boasts a welcoming social setting with a fun beachy theme, making it an ideal place to relax before heading to the ocean. It's definitely the go-to place for a quick, fresh, and healthy breakfast after a morning surf session. Highly recommended!

COFFEE WHIPPED in Huntington Beach is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The coffee here is strong and flavorful, just how I like it. I tried both the Dalgona and Viet Coffee, and they were both excellent. My partner preferred the Dalgona, while I enjoyed the sweeter Viet Coffee. Next time, I'm planning to try the Shrek Smash. The paninis are amazing too, especially the Bulgogi Kim Cheese one. It's perfect for a quick bite, and I can't wait to come back for more. The atmosphere is chill, with low-key music that makes it easy to have a conversation. The shop's location in a big plaza makes it convenient, and there was plenty of seating when we visited. The baked goods are another highlight. The chocolate peanut butter cookies and coconut joy are delicious, and the garlic cheese bun is a must-try. Everything is homemade, which adds to the charm. The staff is super friendly, and the free Wi-Fi is a nice bonus. I recommend checking in on Yelp for a free size upgrade on your coffee and definitely trying the cheese rolls, but remember to order in advance. The triple meat breakfast Sammy is a go-to for hearty breakfast lovers, and don't forget to ask for the El Yucateco hot sauce. This place is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend stopping by for a great coffee and breakfast experience.

Oh my, I went to Bagel City Café and had a wonderful experience! I started with a salad and a frappe, and both were absolutely delicious. If you're in Huntington Beach, CA, and you're looking for good food, this is the place to be. From salads and bagels to coffee and even tacos and burritos, they really have it all! Just thinking about it makes me hungry again—I might go for a burrito next time. I stopped by for a to-go breakfast and decided to try their #1 burrito, but I wanted it without the tortilla. It turned out perfect! It was loaded with different ingredients, and the chipotle sauce added a nice touch. I would suggest a bit more seasoning, like salt and pepper, but that's an easy fix next time. What really made my visit special was the staff. The workers are incredibly nice and always double-check your order to ensure everything is perfect. The food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend this spot. The ladies here always serve you with such care and make sure you leave satisfied. It's become my favorite breakfast sandwich spot in Huntington Beach.

This place is donut heaven. Just take a look at the photos, and you'll see why. The salmon lox and bagel is fantastic and massive, with plenty of salmon. The donuts here are not only bigger than other places but also incredibly delicious. My office staff buys donuts from here at least twice a week for everyone to share. The variety is enormous, and I believe the bagels are baked on-site and are always fresh. In the morning, you can expect a line full of office staff getting treats for their teams and workers grabbing fresh coffee and a donut. Their sandwiches are great too. Everyone in Huntington Beach knows this place, and if you ask any local where to get a good donut, they'll all point you to The Donuttery. Don't forget to grab some coffee and a sandwich while you're there. I've been coming here for the last 6-7 years, and the service has always been good. They have a wide variety of flavor options, including vegan donuts. Every donut I’ve tried has exceeded my expectations, with the blueberry being my absolute favorite. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the donut milk latte. The cream and jelly-filled donuts have just the right amount of filling, making them even better. I haven’t had a bad donut here, and I’ve tried each one. The cream-filled glazed bar with chocolate on top is like a big eclair. They are a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Don’t change a thing!

I've been to 602 Coffee House several times for breakfast, and I always enjoy my visits. The service might be a bit laid-back, but the coffee makes up for it. At just $4 for a large 16oz cup, the coffee is a decent quality, especially considering it's in a prime tourist spot. The staff handles the weekend crowds well and always with a smile, which is appreciated. The bagel selection is impressive, and while the chocolate bread and croissant could use a little work, the cappuccinos are spot-on. The small outdoor space adds a nice touch for enjoying breakfast by the beach. Being located next to Sanchoz Tacos and close to the main street but on the PCH side makes it a convenient stop. The house special charcoal latte is a must-try—it's delicious. The caramel macchiato paired with their bagel sandwiches makes for a fantastic start to the day. These sandwiches are the best in Huntington Beach! Overall, 602 Coffee House does a great job, and tipping the friendly staff is well deserved.

Green Street Café in Huntington Beach is truly a breakfast gem. Despite the challenges of COVID, we didn't have to wait long before we were seated. The service was prompt, and we were quickly treated to fresh OJ that tasted just like the juice from my grandmother's backyard tree. I loved it so much, I had two glasses! The country breakfast I ordered was fantastic and arrived faster than I expected, making me wonder if it was for someone else. My wife and I are definitely coming back to try more, especially the chicken and waffles with a twist. Green Street is our go-to spot because everything on the menu is reliably delicious. Whether I'm in the mood for the Eggs Huntington or the Greek omelet, I'm never disappointed. We always order a side of their phenomenal pancakes, which are the best we've found anywhere. While I have a slight allergy to potatoes, the Green Street Potatoes are so irresistible that I find it hard not to indulge. Recently, we ordered food to take home, and it was just as satisfying. The seating options are great with choices for indoor, bar, or outdoor dining, and the staff is exceptional. I discovered this café while searching Facebook for top breakfast spots in HB, and it did not disappoint. The Huntington egg Benedict and avocado toast were wonderful, and the ambiance was spot on. With such a vast menu, whether you're in the mood to indulge or eat healthily, there are plenty of options. This place is a hit for me, and from now on, it will be our new breakfast favorite. From the delicious fried chicken and waffle to the customizable omelets, everything is spot on. The unique salad was the cherry on top. Green Street Café is definitely a place to return to for an amazing breakfast experience.

Whenever I'm in California, The Original Pancake House in Huntington Beach is a must-visit for breakfast. We only manage to get out here every 3 to 5 years, but it's always on our list. The omelets are massive and oven-baked, easily shareable between two people. The pancakes are absolutely perfect, and I've never had anything here that I didn't love. While we enjoy the pancake house in Las Vegas, we haven't been to any other locations, so this one holds a special place in our hearts. The Huntington Beach location is great, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. The food and service are consistently excellent, though I do think the large orange juice is a bit overpriced for the amount you get. I highly recommend trying the 49er flapjacks and a side of bacon. The buttermilk pancakes and fluffy omelets are the best I've had in Orange County. The meats and fresh corned beef hash are also fantastic. The staff here is incredibly friendly; today, Leslie welcomed me, Angie was my server, and Dominic made sure everything was up to standard. The atmosphere is lively, with fun music adding to the overall vibe. Only come here if you enjoy good food, fun, and outstanding service. Despite the seemingly long wait times, we've always been seated quicker than expected, usually within 15 minutes instead of the anticipated 40. The portions are huge, so my party and I typically share our dishes. The menu selection is vast, and the coffee is good, which I appreciate since I dislike cheap-tasting coffee. The pancakes are, without a doubt, the best. Located in a shopping center, there's plenty of parking available. This has become my favorite breakfast spot, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

During my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Huntington Beach, I had the pleasure of dining at Watertable for breakfast. The experience was fantastic. The service stood out as exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a morning meal. Our breakfast package included dining at Watertable, and based on a server’s recommendation, I tried the pancakes, which were delightful. The omelet was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavors. After enjoying two days of satisfying breakfast experiences, we decided to dine there again for dinner. While the breakfast had set a high bar, the dinner service was still commendable, and the food was enjoyable. Although there were minor areas for improvement, such as adding a bit more flavor to some dishes, the overall dining experience was positive. If I find myself in Huntington Beach again, I would definitely return to Watertable for breakfast.

The staff here at HB Bagels & Cafe is incredibly friendly, and the place is super clean, which makes for a great start to any morning. One of the best parts? It's very affordable! We've been loyal fans of Starbucks and Einstein for a while but have decided to switch things up with Coffee Bean and HB Bagels—and let me tell you, it's a decision we're happy about. We tried a breakfast bagel and an everything bagel with chives cream cheese. The bagels are absolutely amazing—nice, soft, and fluffy. They're generous with the cream cheese, and the breakfast bagels are really delicious. Plus, the service is fast, which I appreciate when I'm in a hurry. Interestingly, I first walked in because my usual coffee spot was temporarily closed, and I had the turkey bacon sandwich on a cheese bagel. The sandwich was good, although the bacon was a bit burnt. Luckily, they have Tapatio available, which helped mask the overly crispy flavor. The taro blended drink was fantastic—creamy and flavorful! I will definitely return for that alone. A friend of mine tried the boba and mentioned it had a good texture, but it was a bit flavorless; hopefully, they can improve that. One thing I noticed is that they don’t season the bagels much, making them taste a bit plain, but that's easy to overlook with all the other positives. Their coffee is great, though they can get a bit jumbled when it's busy. Keep an eye on your order and listen for your items; you'll get out a bit quicker that way. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend trying the Vietnamese coffee and the lox city bagel on an everything roll, toasted—it’s delicious!

What an amazing atmosphere! We were at the beach on a Thursday and, feeling hungry, decided to check Google Maps for a nearby restaurant. The pictures and reviews of Pacific Hideaway caught our eye, so we decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the Brussels sprouts with hazelnuts, which is a must-have. The cocktails were also fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance was lovely, and as a bonus, we got to enjoy live music from a very talented musician. It was a great experience and has definitely made it onto our hot spot list. I absolutely loved the happy hour, especially the "1-nite stand," which is a drink that changes each time you order it. My friends and I tried four different versions, and they were all delicious. The views and vibe were wonderful, and I definitely want to return. The overall experience was fabulous with great vibes and excellent service. The food was beautifully presented and fresh, though the poke marinade was a bit salty for my taste. Still, I enjoyed the meal and would order something else next time. This charming spot, located atop a hotel just a stone’s throw from the pier, surprised us with its quaint and clean setting. We stumbled upon it while wandering through the shops. The service was friendly and prompt, and the diverse menu—from Salmon to Fish and Chips, Steak and Eggs, Burgers, and Eggs Benedict—was cooked to perfection. Dining outdoors in the sun was delightful. Highly recommend!

No Ka Oi in Huntington Beach is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The location is unbeatable, right by the pier, making it ideal for a morning meal followed by a stroll. I've been coming here for over 30 years, and the experience is always wonderful. The Hawaiian and American menu offers something for everyone, and while the food isn't quite five stars, it's certainly satisfying. The breakfast burrito is a standout, and the waffles and omelets easily earn four stars. The service is generally good, though it could use a bit more attentiveness. Despite the cozy and sometimes noisy atmosphere inside, I recommend dining outdoors on their patio if you can. The Mac nut pancakes with coconut syrup are a must-try—super unique and delicious. Overall, No Ka Oi offers a breakfast experience that's better than expected, especially in a touristy area.

The ribeye breakfast sandwich is a standout, and I highly recommend it. Pair it with their potato wedges for an extra treat. Though I've not dined in person, I enjoy ordering delivery from them. Just a note: whoever cooks the food should wear a hairnet for hygiene reasons. The Nashville Chicken Sandwich was another hit, perfectly spicy and tender. The eatery has great music, upbeat staff, and a lively atmosphere. Their Applewood smoked bacon burrito was also delicious; I saved half for later because it was so filling. There are many more dishes on the menu that I can't wait to try. Thank you, EggBred in HB—I’ll definitely be back! 👊🏽

My visit to The Hangout Restaurant & Beach Bar in Huntington Beach for breakfast was fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The onion rings and burgers, except for the double bypass, were outstanding. The double bypass felt more like a novelty than a delicious meal, so I'd suggest skipping that one. However, the variety and quality of the other burgers are top-notch, perfect for anyone craving a satisfying meal. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and kind. It made our experience all the more enjoyable. The breakfast tacos are now my go-to, and my husband is a fan of their cheese grits. It’s hard to find places that do these dishes justice, but The Hangout nails it. Tiffany, the bartender, provided great customer service, making our visit even more special. I also need to give a shout-out to the staff for their honesty and helpfulness. I accidentally left my purse behind, and they held onto it until I could come back. Sweet Elle Cafe is a charming little spot in Huntington Beach that I adore for breakfast. You have the option of sitting inside or outside, or even taking your meal to go. I ordered a tuna sandwich and a BLT, both of which came with a small side salad. I paired my meal with a coke in a glass bottle and a small matcha latte with oat milk. The food was delicious, although a bit on the pricier side at around $50 for two people. I’ve been a fan of Sweet Elle since their first location. While there was a moment when I felt a bit out of place during one visit, the quality of their offerings more than makes up for it. The drip coffee here is exceptional, and their flat whites are a must-try; the baristas really know their stuff. For breakfast, I highly recommend the Houston wrap or Mama Hwang's Bulgogi Sandwich. Plus, all the pastries are fresh and tasty. If you're in Huntington Beach and in need of a quality coffee spot, Sweet Elle is definitely the place to go. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome, and you can't miss the ricotta cake with your latte. Just be prepared for the slightly steep prices, as breakfast for two with coffee came out to $49. Harbor House Café is a fantastic local spot that I always enjoy visiting for breakfast. The café offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a fun décor filled with old movie posters and beach-themed items, creating a laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for small groups or families. The service is quick, and the food always tastes fresh, never frozen or precooked. It’s located right on PCH, and while parking is limited, carpooling or taking a taxi is a good idea, especially on busy weekends or summer days. Though it’s a popular place with potential waits, I found plenty of seating when visiting on a Friday morning around 11 am. I appreciate that there’s an ATM inside, but they do accept all major payment methods. The diner vibe is just right, and if you're into non-chain diners with solid breakfast and lunch options, you'll be pleased. During my visit, I ordered the beef dip with onion rings and a chocolate shake. The beef dip had a large portion of juicy, tender meat, making it quite satisfying. Although the onion rings could have used a bit more flavor, they were still enjoyable. The chocolate shake was served in a classic metal mix container, and the small size was just right. The staff was polite and friendly, ensuring my order was accurate and checking in a few times to make sure everything was to my liking. Situated just a two-minute walk from the beach, Harbor House Café is a true classic diner offering plenty of American choices. It’s a spot I’ve been coming to for years, thanks to its fast service and delicious food. Despite its small space and limited parking, the charm and quality keep me returning. My favorites are the patty melt and the large omelets, but you can't go wrong with their menu. If you find yourself in Sunset Beach with no wait, definitely give them a try!

It's clear this place is a favorite among locals, especially during breakfast when many stop by for a cup of coffee that gets topped off quickly. I enjoy their steak and eggs, with options from t-bone to sirloin and New York. Their classic Eggs Benedict and its other variations are also worth trying. This place has been a staple in Huntington Beach forever, and its popularity shows. Everyone knows Norm's. The service was good, and the place was clean. Everything was great, except the steak; I requested medium but received well done, which was quite dry. I didn’t make a fuss and ate it anyway, but I wish there was more attention to steak preferences. Despite that, it's a good location with friendly service, and the food comes out fast. I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was a hefty sandwich with a patty of about a quarter pound. It's busy during the holidays but worth the visit. This location is consistent with other Norm's around Southern California. I definitely recommend it.
