Last week, our family had breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Jacksonville, and despite a small hiccup with their order system, our experience was fantastic. Some items were delayed, and a few were missing, but they immediately took care of it by removing the delayed items from our bill without us even asking. I really appreciated that gesture. I tried the bourbon pancakes, which were simply amazing, and my husband loved the lemon and goat cheese pancakes. Both were delicious and packed with flavor. We also tried the Mediterranean Omelette and the Hey Lucy Omelette, and both were excellent choices. The Spiced Maple Cold Brew was a delightful addition to our meal. Our server Ashley was wonderful, taking the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations with a friendly smile. The customer service across the board was attentive and efficient, making us feel well-cared-for throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt welcoming and had a charming, southern home vibe to it. Being in my third trimester, it’s important to have satisfying meals, and the city grits along with the sunrise spinach scrambler truly hit the spot. I’m already looking forward to going back because there are so many more dishes I want to try. Every staff member, especially Seven, Jared, Tony, and Karen, made us feel welcome and valued. Their warm hospitality left a great impression on us. This location on Atlantic in Jacksonville truly deserves more than five stars. It’s now the benchmark for when I visit Another Broken Egg Cafe in other cities. The food is superb, and the overall experience was more than just a meal—it was a delight. Highly recommend!
Beach Diner Mandarin

Taking an unplanned break from Beach Diner turned out to be a long wait, so I was thrilled to return to the Mandarin location and find it just as fantastic as ever. I've been visiting this spot since middle school with my dad, and the quality and portions have never disappointed me. The French toast was so picture-perfect that I had to take a photo. I absolutely love the egg salad pita, even though I can never finish it on my own. On a weekday morning, we headed to Beach Diner before taking on our day. We were seated promptly, and our drink orders were taken without delay. The dining room was clean, and all the servers were friendly and efficient. Our food arrived in a reasonable time, with everything prepared perfectly. The eggs were hot and cooked just right, the breakfast burrito was sizable, and the home fries were well-seasoned with sweet onion chunks. The bacon was cooked just right, and the fresh fruit was ripe with no bad spots. We tried two of the breakfast specials and a breakfast burrito. While the strawberry cream cheese French toast wasn't my favorite, my boyfriend enjoyed it. We both loved the croissant, though we wished the bacon side had more. One of the owners checked on us and other tables, which was a nice touch. Although we didn't see our server too often, the overall experience was great. Brunch on a busy Sunday was worth the short wait due to the quick, friendly service. The beachy atmosphere was bright, and the bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen in a Jacksonville restaurant. This place is definitely staying on our restaurant rotation.

We had an incredible brunch experience at Another Broken Egg Café, thanks to our amazing waitress, Eden! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Eden was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always topped off. Her warm, genuine attitude truly made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic, especially the fall menu, but her service made our brunch truly memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back and hope to see her again! The omelette I had might be the best I've ever had, and I appreciated that they listed the calories next to the dishes. The portions were generous, making it hard to try everything I wanted. The only thing I wished for was hash browns, but their country potatoes were a good alternative. We loved the option of indoor and outdoor seating, and I was thrilled to see mocktails on the menu. Overall, the food and service were amazing, with special thanks to Eden and Brenda for their attentive care. While the fruit on the mimosa was a letdown, it didn't overshadow the enjoyable experience. No complaints will keep us from returning!

First time here and we will definitely be back! The customer service here is phenomenal – everyone was super sweet and friendly, embodying true southern hospitality. The owners and entire staff were just amazing! Breakfast was spot on; my husband’s biscuits and gravy were delicious, and my eggs, bacon, crispy home fries, and biscuit were perfect. The prices are great with plenty of food to go around. Do not miss out on this southern home-cooking paradise. The pancakes are massive! I can’t believe I’ve been living on Jacksonville’s Northside all this time and just discovered Terry’s. The atmosphere here feels like home, and it’s evident that it’s a local favorite for breakfast. Customer service was a 10 out of 10, with our waitress being fantastic and the manager super friendly too. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The corned beef hash was excellent, and the pancakes are a must-have. I haven’t tried the lunch menu yet, but the sandwiches I saw at another table looked incredible – definitely planning to try them next time. Pricing is moderate for a breakfast and lunch menu, and there was no wait time, which is always a plus. This quaint place serves breakfast all day, and my wife loved the blueberry pancakes while I enjoyed the fries. Mark, the owner, and the staff are remarkably friendly, recognizing customers and calling them by name. This place has a great vibe. This review is purely about the portion sizes. I've been coming to Terry’s for a while now, and while the food is amazing, I just wanted to mention that the portion sizes could use a little adjustment. For $18, I ordered a Reuben with a side of chicken and rice soup, and while they both tasted fantastic, the portions were pretty small. The soup barely filled half a spoon, and the Reuben, although great in taste, didn’t have much meat. I'd love to see slightly bigger portions or maybe a price adjustment. Regardless, I will definitely be back because I love the establishment and the food.

After Googling the best breakfast spot in the area, I decided to check out Bill’s Diner, and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed eggs over easy, corned beef hash, grits, and a biscuit with gravy. The portions were just right, and the food was clean and delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying start to their day. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure to check on us frequently. Even though I wasn't a regular, they made me feel right at home. The coffee was excellent, adding to the overall fantastic experience. If you’re after that classic diner feel, this is the place to go. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. In a place dotted with random waffle houses, I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem with the help of Google. It's clear why locals love it here. The best-loaded hash brown breakfast I've had in the US! Thanks for a great start to my Florida trip!

During our vacation from Texas, my group of four decided to try Waffle House for breakfast in Jacksonville for the first time, except for one of us who had been before. It was bustling, which is always a good sign, and the diner atmosphere was charming. Our server, Dee, truly made our experience memorable. She was cheerful, had a great attitude, and offered excellent recommendations that led to a tasty breakfast. We made sure to let the manager know how wonderful Dee was in making our visit enjoyable. This place is definitely on our list for future visits when we're in Jacksonville. Thanks to Dee and the team for a great experience! The food was delicious, especially the bacon and hash browns, cooked just the way we like it. We even took home some biscuit and gravy, which made for a delightful breakfast the next day. Waffle House delivered on everything we expected, and then some. We’ll definitely be back!

Another Broken Egg Cafe in Jacksonville is a fantastic spot for breakfast and mimosas. From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm smiles and great service, which made our dining experience really enjoyable. The atmosphere here is both cozy and welcoming, with a decor that feels just right for casual meet-ups or special mornings out. We were seated quickly, and our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The food was delicious. We started with their robust and aromatic coffee, setting a great tone for the meal. The smoked salmon Benedict was a standout, with perfectly poached eggs and rich hollandaise sauce over smoky salmon. Every bite was flavorful, and the dish was beautifully presented. The apple fritter French toast was another highlight. Imagine thick French toast with a sweet, crispy apple fritter coating, topped with warm cinnamon apples and caramel sauce. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and flavors, making it a must-try dish. We also sampled a couple of their omelets, which were equally satisfying. They were fluffy and packed with fresh ingredients, with a side of crispy potatoes that added a nice crunch. Overall, our time at Another Broken Egg Cafe was excellent. The combination of tasty food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere made for a memorable breakfast. Whether you're a local or just visiting Jacksonville, this place is definitely worth checking out. We left happy and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Breakfast at Waffle House in Jacksonville was fantastic. The food was just what you'd expect: delicious and consistent. The wait staff stood out—they were incredibly attentive and quick to help when we had a little spill. Their hospitality took me by surprise in the best way. I wish I knew our server's name, but for reference, our check was #45732, and we were there on July 11th at 8:30 AM. I can't recommend this place enough! Beyond the stellar service, watching the team work was impressive. They cranked out food at an unbelievable pace without sacrificing quality. The classic diner vibe adds charm to the whole experience. The coffee was delicious, and the waffles, especially with peanut butter or chocolate chips, were formidable. The other breakfast staples—sausages, bacon, eggs, and hash browns—were all perfectly decent for the price. I ordered online, and everything was ready right on time. Our meal included eggs, grits, bacon, toast, and those amazing chocolate chip waffles. We devoured it so quickly there wasn't even time for pictures. I took everything back to our hotel, but the staff left such a great impression. If I didn't already have a favorite spot on Atlantic, this location would be it. While I waited for an extra waffle, I watched how efficiently everyone worked, from the person taking orders to the cooks. Not a particularly smiley crew, but definitely professional, polite, and efficient.

I’m a regular at the Waffle House in Jacksonville, stopping by once or twice a month for a reliable breakfast. It’s the kind of place that gets things right more often than not. When it’s not too busy, I like to have London as my server because her customer service skills always impress me. The food consistently hits the mark, with my favorite being the pecan waffle with pumpkin spice. Their sweet tea is delicious, and I always look forward to it. Sure, they can get really busy on Saturday mornings, and sometimes the service slows down a bit, but that’s to be expected with such a popular spot. On family trips, Waffle House is often a go-to because we have relatives working in the company, which adds a nice personal touch. On my last visit, my brother and I grabbed a bite after a long day. Londyn was our waitress, and she was fantastic—very personable and welcoming. Tiera cooked my eggs perfectly, and the teamwork really shone through. I always find the restaurant clean, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you’re around Lem Turner, stopping by this Waffle House is a great choice. You’ll leave satisfied.

I was very impressed with Country Cabin Restaurant for breakfast during my visit to Jacksonville. Our search for a good sit-down spot with a variety of options led us here, and it did not disappoint. Amanda, our server, did an amazing job, making our experience even better. Our meal for three adults and a child came to just under $50, including the tip, which was great value. The restaurant's atmosphere is wonderful—it's cozy and not noisy at all. One of the highlights for us was that they serve breakfast all day, which is a huge plus. I definitely plan to come back next time I'm in the area, and my friend who lives locally will be back even sooner. The place gave me vibes of a blend between Po Folks and Denny's, but I must say, the food here was better in my opinion. We had a fantastic experience with a menu that offers a wide range of options from breakfast to dinner. The dishes were hearty and comforting, like good old-fashioned home cooking. Seeing grits on the menu was a real treat! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our group of seven felt welcome. Every dish we ordered was wonderful, and I highly recommend Country Cabin to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a cozy setting. I can't wait to return and try more of their mouthwatering options. Plus, the cobbler desserts are a favorite of mine! The pro-America and First Responders theme added a special touch. Looking forward to more visits here.

During my breakfast visit to Waffle House in Jacksonville, I had an amazing experience thanks to Coran, the chef. He made the best hash brown bowl I've ever had at a Waffle House. The ingredients were perfectly mixed together, and the bacon was cooked to a perfect crisp. I wish Coran could be my Waffle House chef for life because his care and attention to detail were exceptional. The staff that night was also kind and attentive. They made sure I had everything I needed and were genuinely friendly. While the store was clean, I needed to know the classic menu by heart, which luckily I did. I ordered something not on the current menu, and they had no problem making it. Overall, the food was good, with a fluffy waffle and well-cooked eggs, and the warm atmosphere made me feel welcome. I'll definitely be coming back for more of Coran's cooking and the friendly service.

Stopping by Famous Amos in Jacksonville for breakfast turned out to be a delightful experience. From the moment I seated myself, I knew I was in for something special. The sweet tea was just right, and the waitress was incredibly attentive. I ordered the country fried steak with fried squash and mashed potatoes, and each bite was a treat. The fried okra and barely seasoned black-eyed peas were flavorful, and the gravy was perfect over the thick mashed potatoes. As someone from Puerto Rico, this type of food was a new adventure for me, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The meal began with cornbread and a honey biscuit, both pleasantly surprising in taste, especially since I never thought biscuits could be so good. The pancakes and garlic toast were thick and satisfying, adding to the hearty breakfast. Although the service was a bit slower, it was worth the wait given the warm and friendly demeanor of our server, Ashley Rose. She truly made us feel at home and made the experience even more enjoyable. After being picked up from JaxPort post-cruise, we stumbled upon the Famous Amos sign and decided to try it out. I'm so glad we did, as it has become a new favorite. It's disappointing that all of the Famous Amos locations near me have closed, but I'll definitely make this spot a regular stop whenever I'm in town. The food, especially that giant and tasty country fried steak, and Ashley Rose's exceptional service, made for a wonderful breakfast experience. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We'll be back for sure!

I visited the Waffle House in Jacksonville for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was impressively quick. Our family loves this place because it consistently delivers good quality meals at a price that's quite comparable to fast food, but with much better taste. Although experiences can vary depending on the staff, when the right team is on duty, they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Overall, it's a place we enjoy for a hearty breakfast, and we're happy with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, when it's at its best.

Quick breakfast this morning at the Waffle House near JIA Airport, and it did not disappoint. Fabia, my server, was fantastic as usual, and the rest of the staff were equally attentive and efficient. I've been to many Waffle Houses, and this one maintains the high standards I expect: quality food and service in a functional setting perfect for breakfast. I ordered the Huge Special with eggs over medium, white toast, plain hash browns, bacon, and a waffle, all for $11.70. My food arrived in no time, and I was in and out in under 40 minutes. The staff truly knows what they're doing and deserve praise. A couple of minor critiques: the coffee could be better—it feels like it falls short of the food's excellence—and the parking lot is a bit tight. Also, there’s a 20% surcharge on takeout orders, which I think is fair given how hard the staff works. Despite these minor points, I always look forward to stopping by when I’m in Jacksonville. The night crew especially creates a welcoming and clean atmosphere. Waffle House remains my go-to for breakfast or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Years had passed since my last visit to a Waffle House, but the experience at the Normandy location in Jacksonville was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, with Brandy, our server, providing great conversation and making me feel right at home. The food was delicious, served fast and hot, with old-time music playing in the background adding to the cozy atmosphere. While the prices for extras like cheese or onions can add up, it's a trend I’ve noticed at many Waffle Houses, not just this location. That aside, everything else was top-notch. The place was clean, the service was exceptional, and the staff, including Mrs. Kari and her colleague with curly hair, were attentive and polite, ensuring everything was perfect. I highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through Jacksonville. It's probably the best Waffle House I’ve been to in Florida, and I’m grateful for the hospitality, including letting us park our semi truck outside. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town!
