Jeanine is the absolute best. Her smile and welcoming personality make me want to ask for her table every visit. The food at Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Lakeland was great, but the service was truly outstanding. People like Jeanine are why I keep coming back. Many places have great food, but it's the staff that truly makes the difference. Great job! The food was really good, and Jeanine, our server, was fantastic. Her smile lit up the place, and she was very attentive and caring. She helped us navigate the menu, allowing us to add an omelet to the combo special. I regret not taking pictures earlier, so apologies for the half-eaten steak and cheese omelet. The restaurant has a roomy, relaxed vibe that was only enhanced by our wonderful server, Jeanine. Wanting to sample a bit of everything, I ordered the breakfast combo. The pancake and French toast were large, with a delicious apple cinnamon topping. My eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, and I enjoyed a half order of bacon and home fries. If you're seeking well-prepared, homemade fresh food, this is a fantastic spot. Another server, Heydi, was kind from the moment we sat down. She provided quick service and spot-on recommendations. The food surpassed our expectations. My husband and I shared a chicken and waffles dish and a banana pecan stuffed French toast. It was the right amount of sweet without being overly rich.

I was in town for the day and needed a place to work for a couple of hours. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by Black & Brew! The food was great, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was just what I needed. I felt comfortable and safe while working there. The Praline Bacon was delicious—I could have easily eaten a second serving. I practically licked my plate clean! The vanilla latte was also good, with an espresso that almost had a mocha-like roast, which was comforting. During my visit, I was also exploring the Gillian Fazio art mural tour downtown, and stopping by Black & Brew was a nice addition to the day. I enjoyed their special Ginger Pear green tea and Pumpkin latte, relaxing in their welcoming café with Gillian's art inside as an added pleasure. It seems like a local favorite with many customers enjoying meals around me. It's definitely a great spot to visit between activities. On another visit, I ordered the Tuscan Sausage & Potato soup and Strawberry Praline salad combo with a Coconut Taro Frappe, and it was amazing! So flavorful and satisfying. I'd highly recommend this place. The staff is awesome too; they were so helpful and genuinely welcoming. It's rare these days to find a place where you feel so welcomed, but not here. Despite living 45 minutes away in Brandon, I’d happily make the drive back for the friendly service, not to mention the great coffee and food. Highly recommend!
Divicious Deli & Coffee Shop

From the moment I stepped into Divicious Deli & Coffee Shop in Lakeland, I knew I had found a special place. The aroma of something savory greeted us, and I couldn't resist asking what it was. The friendly staff informed me they were making a Cuban sandwich, so of course, that's what I ordered. It turned out to be one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had! My husband enjoyed his egg and sausage breakfast sandwich with Havarti on Cuban bread, and it was just as delightful. We sampled a variety of dishes, including a chicken salad sandwich, home fries, a guava pastry, and a meat lovers wrap. Each item was delicious and packed with flavor, capturing some of our favorite Latin tastes. To top it off, we treated ourselves to a dulce de leche iced latte—an incredible way to end our meal. The staff at Divicious were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. They made sure everything was served hot and fresh, from the food to the incredible pastries. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for either breakfast or lunch. If you're seeking a cute coffee shop in downtown Lakeland, look no further. Divicious offers more than just excellent coffee; they have something for everyone. Yohansa's leadership shines through in this clean and sanitary establishment, ensuring that her staff mirrors her dedication to service and quality. With no long waits and consistently outstanding food and service, I'm thrilled to have discovered this gem. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to Lakeland!
Sweet Cup Cafe

Stepping into Sweet Cup Cafe, I immediately felt the cozy, casual vibe, even though the decor could use a bit more attention. But once I got a whiff of the food, I knew this visit would be special. The highlight was definitely the food. Each dish was packed with flavor and obviously crafted with care. The pastor and carnitas tacos were incredible—tender and perfectly seasoned, leaving me wanting more. The service, unfortunately, didn't match the quality of the food. The staff seemed a bit disinterested, and the menu was a bit confusing to navigate. However, the food more than made up for these downsides. The taste and preparation quality make me want to come back. Initially, I thought this was just a coffee shop, so discovering their homemade tortilla tacos was a pleasant surprise. I tried a chicken taco and immediately went back for seconds—so good! Their coffee is pretty solid, too. I've also tried their delivery and love the avocado burrito and refreshing hibiscus tea. Portions are generous and provide great value. Sure, the service is slow and the AC could work better, but if you're in for some seriously good Mexican flavors and can overlook those hiccups, Sweet Cup Cafe is worth a try. Probably some of the best tacos I’ve had!

Go where the locals go! I have been a customer of Fat Jacks Deli & Pub for nearly 40 years and have never been disappointed. This place is very affordable and family-friendly, making it a Lakeland favorite. The breakfast special is a super deal, as is the burger platter. The friendly staff, who have worked there for years, always make me feel welcome. When I entered, I was transported back to the 70s and 80s to a local diner hangout, which is a wonderfully nostalgic experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I felt like I had been coming here for years. Our waiter was prompt, courteous, and professional, with Brody standing out as a great food service worker and host. While it's a busy place and I had to wait in line for breakfast, the coffee was good, the eggs were spot on, and the waitress was nice. I'm looking forward to trying more breakfast items, even though the toast wasn’t very toasted and the hash browns were clearly from the freezer. Despite these minor setbacks, this place has become my new go-to spot for good food and great company.

I had a fantastic experience at Ford's Garage in Lakeland for breakfast. The service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. Although the chicken breast I ordered was a bit small, its flavor was spot on. The fries were perfectly seasoned, which is a nice change from the usual bland ones you find elsewhere. The atmosphere was buzzing with lots of people, yet the service was impressively fast. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant's design was intriguing, with attention-grabbing details everywhere. I tried the tuna, which was delicious, and while my husband hoped for a bit more from his salad, it was still enjoyable. Our server, Kailyn, was phenomenal, offering great recommendations and ensuring our needs were met. At her suggestion, I went with the Model A when I couldn’t decide, and it was a delicious choice. Overall, it was a memorable visit with excellent food and great service. I hope to return someday, and next time, I might try some drinks. It’s a bit far from home, but definitely worth the trip!

After our initial breakfast spot fell through, we found ourselves at Good Thyme for lunch, and what a delightful turn of events that was! The poke bowl was satisfying and expertly crafted, easily one of the best I've tasted. My companions were equally thrilled with their BLT and veggie burrito. The hummus was fantastic, and the chips were pretty good too. Although the Greek bowl was just okay, I'm intrigued to try their chicken salad wrap next time. I absolutely love everything else about Good Thyme. The fresh ingredients and their delicious homemade yogurt stand out. It's become a Saturday tradition to walk my dog there, and the cozy outdoor seating is perfect, complete with a bowl of fresh water for the dogs. I usually order through a delivery service, and Good Thyme truly excels in this area. The packaging is environmentally friendly, and the food arrives looking and tasting amazing. The chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked—juicy inside with a crispy exterior—and the salads, including the shrimp taco salad and Caesar, were visually stunning and delectable. The only hiccup was the missing homemade jam for my biscuit, but the biscuit was so perfectly made that it didn't even need it. Overall, Good Thyme has nailed the art of delivering restaurant-quality food that fits seamlessly into my lifestyle. I can't wait to try their breakfast soon!
Cozy Oaks Restaurant

Cozy Oaks Restaurant in Lakeland is a real treat for breakfast lovers! The servings are generous, and the food is simply delicious. The Biscuits and gravy are a must-try; they're some of the best I've had. On our follow-up visit, we went for brunch and enjoyed the French Toast special, which includes two slices plus eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese grits, along with a classic cheeseburger and onion rings. Everything was absolutely delicious. Despite a bit of a wait—about 15 minutes—the "carnivore breakfast" was worth it. The staff is fantastic; our server was truly on top of her game, handling everything with ease. The food was great, and the overall experience was seamless. We stumbled upon this gem after leaving another restaurant upset, and it felt like a gift. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall on E Orange St, right next to some medical offices. The service was phenomenal, and the food lived up to the hype. During our visit, my daughter had the chicken Parm sandwich, while my son and I stuck with breakfast. I enjoyed a Belgian waffle with bacon and a massive homemade biscuit. We also tried both the sausage and brown gravies, which were delicious, though the sausage gravy was a tad salty for my taste. Our server, whose name was possibly Clarissa (my memory isn't the best, haha), was spectacular. She served everyone promptly and kept the food coming hot and fresh. If you're in the area—or even if you're not—Cozy Oaks Restaurant should be on your list for a repeat visit. It's a cozy, low-key diner with large portions at low prices. The bacon is better than average, and while the sausage gravy could be less salty, the service more than makes up for it. It's a popular spot with locals, so it can get busy, but it's a place I'll definitely be returning to. Swing by and see for yourself!

Fred's Market Restaurant in Lakeland is a cozy local spot that's perfect for breakfast. The food is genuinely good, capturing that delicious southern cooking feel. I really appreciated their unique pricing option—you can choose between a one-trip plate or an all-you-can-eat buffet, which I've never seen at other buffets. Plus, they let you enjoy your meal before handling the bill, which adds to the relaxing experience. We arrived around 2:45 pm and were pleasantly surprised to get a free drink with our meal. The restaurant was clean, and the food was hot and fresh. The service was excellent; everything we needed was provided without even having to ask. The atmosphere was inviting, with polite staff and thankfully a short wait time. The food was so delicious, especially the breakfast dessert pies, which I honestly can't stop thinking about. For a family of four, including two adults and two kids, the price came to $54, which is quite reasonable. The chefs here clearly know how to cook up some soulful dishes, making it a place I'd definitely recommend.

Wow, the food at First Watch in Lakeland is incredible! Our waitress, Kathy, was amazing—very friendly with excellent customer service. It's a solid breakfast spot with quick service, and everyone is super nice and helpful, even during the Sunday morning rush. I ordered The Works omelette, the shishito brisket hash, and some strawberry tres leches French toast. The total was $57 plus tip. The brisket hash was a special item, but it was done perfectly. I really hope they keep it on the menu. The experience we had on Sunday, July 28, was great from start to finish. The service was spot on, and while the food might be a little pricey, it's definitely worth it. If you’re looking for a satisfying breakfast, you shouldn't be disappointed here!

I was genuinely impressed with Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Lakeland. While it's not the cheapest breakfast spot, it's definitely worth the price for the quality you get. Every part of the breakfast was spot on. The cheesy grits were wonderfully creamy, and the eggs and sausages were cooked just right. Even the water was good, which is something I pay attention to! The waffles were fantastic too, not too sweet, and paired perfectly with whipped cream. My husband preferred to butter his waffles, but I liked the whipped cream on mine. The service was prompt and friendly, which made the experience even better. Blaise, our server, was attentive and courteous, and when he had to leave suddenly, another server took over seamlessly. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, with staff taking extra care when cleaning tables. It's rare to see such attention to detail. For lunch, I tried the Turkey club and the Portobello/Pesto/Mozzarella and Roasted Red Pepper Panini, and both were delicious and very filling. If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch, Keke’s is definitely the place to go. Every time I visit, I try something different and I'm always satisfied. Today, I had the chocolate chip waffle and it was perfectly made. Our server Alex also provided excellent customer service. On another visit, we stopped for breakfast before heading to the airport and had French toast in different varieties. The combo came with a generous amount of bacon, and the milk served was a pleasant surprise in size. It kept us satisfied until we boarded our flight. I'm glad I finally stopped by, and I'll definitely be returning with family and friends. Keke’s truly offers good food and great service.

I decided to try out a new breakfast spot and ended up at The Brunch Box. What a great choice that turned out to be! The food and drinks were delicious, and I loved that everything was homemade. I ordered a drink called the Julius Mix, which combined orange juice, coconut cream, and pineapple—absolutely loved it. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. It was actually my server Ty's first day, and he made my visit wonderful. The staff was thoughtful, even suggesting that I get my eggs and hashbrowns packed to stay warm until I was ready to leave. I truly appreciated their attention to detail. The Brunch Box is definitely a place I plan to visit again. What a gem!

Visiting the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Lakeland for breakfast has always been a delightful experience for me. The atmosphere is classic American, and it reminds me of simpler times. Despite being a bit busy during my visit, the staff was friendly and attentive. My server managed to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and still made sure to check in on us regularly. I ordered the Old Timer's Breakfast, which has become a favorite of mine over time. The eggs were cooked just right, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The biscuits were fluffy and paired perfectly with the rich, creamy gravy. It felt like a comforting, hearty meal that set the tone for the day. What stood out about this visit was the consistency. The food was served hot and timely, and the quality was top-notch as always. Although the staff was clearly working hard, they didn't let it affect the service quality. It's the kind of dependable experience that keeps me coming back on my trips to Universal or Disney. If you're looking for a place that offers great food, a warm vibe, and exceptional service, I highly recommend stopping by this Cracker Barrel location. Forget the usual chain diners; this place captures the essence of a genuine, homely meal.

First Watch in Lakeland is a great spot for breakfast. We often travel to Tampa and decided to stop by while passing through on business. The food was delicious, and the drinks hit the spot. The staff was polite, and the place was clean, which is always important to me. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I was quickly seated and served. The food never disappoints. My wife and I have tried various menu items, and we've always been happy with our choices. Even though our last visit had some hiccups with the service—we were in a spot near the entrance, and it seemed like our waitress forgot about us—it didn’t ruin the experience. Another waitress stepped in to help, so it worked out in the end. Despite the minor service issue, I'm sure it was just an off day and not the norm. I was initially drawn to this spot by photos in other reviews, especially because of the generous portions and quality ingredients. Though I did notice some changes, like portion sizes, my meal was still satisfying. If you're debating whether to try it, I highly recommend giving it a chance. There's something on the menu for everyone, and it's a reliable choice for a good breakfast.

The breakfast at Denny's in Lakeland was absolutely fantastic! The prime rib omelet and stuffed cream cheese toast were delicious. Savannah, my waitress, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to help me get exactly what I wanted. Kudos to the cook for making the best omelet I've ever had. The team did a great job, and I'm a very happy customer. Initially, I wanted to order the pot roast skillet, but they were out of pot roast. They offered to replace it with a prime rib slice, which I don't like, so I chose the stuffed French toast with strawberries instead. It didn't quite match the picture on the menu, as the strawberries were mushy and there was hardly any powdered sugar or strawberry sauce drizzle. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable. Upon entering, there was an odd smell, possibly from the restrooms or mopping, and the cashier wasn't very friendly. It might be worth checking their cleaning process to ensure it's up to standard. On a brighter note, Melissa makes our visits after work on Fridays delightful. She's always attentive, keeps my drink full, and clears away empty plates promptly. You're greeted warmly when you arrive, and she always has a smile. Keisha really changed my perception of Denny's with her welcoming nature, sweet spirit, and excellent service, all with a beautiful smile. Everyone was nice, and because of that, I will definitely return to this location. Thanks again, Keisha!

I had a pleasant experience at Panera Bread in Lakeland for breakfast. The location is clean and offers several tables with power outlets, which is ideal if you need to work on your laptop. I ordered the duets with smokehouse chicken and tomato soup, along with a half chipotle avocado chicken sandwich. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff was friendly, and I appreciate that they offered a discount code for a free half entrée. While there are some inconsistencies with product availability at times, the workers are wonderful, and I hope management can address the ordering issues. Overall, it's a good spot for a tasty breakfast or quick lunch.

I ordered the new BLT sandwich and was quite disappointed with the cold, fatty bacon that seemed thrown together. It didn't live up to Panera Bread's usual standards, and I couldn't enjoy it at all. However, the staff at the Lakeland location were incredible. They were polite, made great recommendations, and even checked on me while I dined outside. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with the inviting smell of coffee and freshly baked goods. Despite the food not being as I remembered, I remain a regular because of the excellent service and clean environment. I highly recommend this place for its staff and ambiance.

If I could give 6 stars for service, I'd do it all day long! My waitress, Angela, was a font of happiness and sunshine—what a delightful lady! She was all smiles and very prompt. This is the best Bob Evans I've ever been to, and the food is fantastic too! Angela was the best. Tammy and Quay also came over to make sure everything was perfect, which made it even better! The manager, Jamie, runs a tight ship. The place is very clean and well run, and my experience here was a great one. Our food came out quickly and was cooked well. Angela was friendly and helpful with the selections. We ordered the banana blueberry pancakes with sausage, eggs, and hashbrowns, while my husband had the biscuit sandwiches and gravy. The biscuits were fresh, not frozen. I also had a coffee and the Appleberry mimosa—delicious! Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast experience. Our server was sweet and took good care of us and our babies, which earned bonus points for the sweet compliments. The young man who cashed us out was also very nice and helpful, asking if I needed a bag, and the place was clean. A very nice place to eat, with food that came out quick.

The IHOP in Lakeland had a welcoming diner vibe, although it looked a bit old and could use some sprucing up. Despite that, my experience was pretty positive. Breakfast usually means a wait, but I was pleasantly surprised to be seated within ten minutes on a Saturday morning. The food was consistently good, as I've come to expect from IHOP, and my server was attentive and friendly, making sure my meal was enjoyable. They offer some great perks through their app, and buying gift cards at Costco is a nice way to save a little. The consistency in quality and the quick service make it a solid choice for breakfast.

I had a great experience at IHOP for my daughter's birthday breakfast. Angie, our server, was fantastic. She was quick, kind, and made my kids feel grown-up, treating them like little adults, which they absolutely loved. She never let our glasses go empty and checked on us frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. I tried the crepes and eggs Benedict, and they were really good. My husband enjoyed his French toast, hash browns, and scrambled eggs, and I had some gluten-free pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon that were spot on. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff was friendly and professional, which made our visit enjoyable. The only downside was that the bathrooms weren't as tidy as they could have been, possibly due to the morning rush. Despite that, the overall experience was wonderful, and we'll definitely be back to this location in the future.
