Cafe Antigua is a charming little local gem that I visited for breakfast in Lancaster. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere. The food was served nice and warm - I had a cheese jalapeno bagel sandwich with turkey and cheese, which was absolutely delicious. The bagel was fluffy with a satisfying crunch. Although their horchata café frappe was a tad too sweet for my liking, the mix-up from my original order didn't bother me since I was curious to try something new. Customer service here is excellent; the staff is very friendly and polite. On my visit, I also tried their brown sugar cinnamon iced coffee and a bagel breakfast sandwich, both of which were delicious. The blueberry bagels are amazing and definitely worth trying. I took my mom, wife, and kids for lunch, and we enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, coffee, and lemonades. The food was great and definitely stood out compared to other sandwich places in the area. The pricing is decent, making it a go-to spot for a casual meal. You can tell it's a starter business with lots of potential. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu offerings. Such a great local spot!
Crazy Otto's Diner

Crazy Otto's Diner is hands down one of the best spots for breakfast in Lancaster! The portion sizes are huge, and the flavors are incredible. I have fond memories of coming here with my dad, and the food has always been consistently good with generous servings. The staff is generally wonderful, and a big shout out to Stephanie for her amazing service. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. During my most recent visit, I used their "50 year celebration" coupon, which was a nice deal—buy one meal and get the other half off. While there was a small hiccup with a misunderstanding about the coupon policy for takeout orders, the rest of the team remained friendly and accommodating. Although the prices can be on the higher side, especially with tax and tip, the overall experience and the quality of food make it worth a visit. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty chicken fried steak or a pancake combo with all the fixings, you’re sure to leave feeling satisfied. Crazy Otto's is definitely a must-try for anyone in the area looking for a tasty and filling breakfast.
Phebies Cafe

As soon as I walked into Phebies Cafe for breakfast, I was struck by the awesome vibe that everyone talks about. Even though it was swamped with people, the waitress on November 3 was incredibly fast and efficient, managing multiple tables like a pro. It reminded me of my mom, who was a waitress for years, and honestly, the service here is even quicker. I’m not a fan of long wait times, but the excellent customer service made up for it. I always wanted to try this place, and I’m so glad I did because it did not disappoint. Everything was clean, the prices were affordable, and the food was nothing short of amazing. The chicken fried steak, in particular, was the best I've had in town. The staff was attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome and comfortable during my first visit. Our order was taken quickly, and despite the busy scene, the food was out in no time. The portions were great, with typical diner favorites like pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns priced between $10-20 per person. I’m definitely planning to come back soon. Just fantastic!

The Morning Griddle Cafe in Lancaster was an amazing breakfast spot! We were searching for a nice place for a breakfast date and stumbled upon this gem online. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by both the staff and the other customers, which made us feel right at home. The ambiance of the café is cozy, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that were cooked to perfection. I have to say, the strawberry, banana crepes with Nutella were out of this world and definitely a must-try! The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our needs throughout our visit. We even received a complimentary dessert that was exceptionally tasty, which was a delightful surprise. The value for money here is fantastic, especially considering the generous servings and quality of food. We loved our experience so much that we've already planned to return with our kids and for future dates. We'll definitely be recommending The Morning Griddle Cafe to all our friends. Thank you for such a wonderful breakfast experience!
Katz-N Jammers

Orvell Carnevale
My husband and I went to Katz-N Jammers for the first time on the Fourth of July, and we were glad to make it before they closed for the day. The atmosphere brought a wonderful sense of nostalgia from the 50s. Being born in the late 90s, it was pretty cool to experience what felt like a slice of the past with all its memorabilia. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and it came out quickly. I’m excited to return and try more from their menu. I also visited with my daughter during the week for breakfast, and she’s a big breakfast fan. Katz-N Jammers did not disappoint. Our server was excellent—kind and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing, and the food came in big portions and was delicious. This classic diner with a chic feel offered good food and excellent service. I would definitely eat here again. The customer service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience from your Las Vegas, NV friends! Katz-N Jammers is a must-try restaurant when you're in the Palmdale and Lancaster, California area.

Absolutely loved this adorable little place! All the food was amazing, and I think I've found my new favorite breakfast spot. The staff was super sweet, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back because the food here is just that good. Everything we've ordered from the menu has been scrumptious, leaving us with happy bellies and satisfied smiles. The portion sizes are perfect, and the coffee is simply great. The servers are sweet and attentive, which adds to the joy of coming back each time. If you haven't tried this place yet and are hesitating, give it a go. You can thank me later. Our Father's Day brunch was the best—delicious and relaxed. We enjoyed an excellent scramble special along with wonderful pancakes, salads, French toast, eggs, sausages, and more. We tried it all and loved everything. The coffee was always hot and refilled with courtesy. The staff provided exceptional friendly service and effective communication. All the food was delivered hot and sumptuous. Our group is already excited about planning our next visit to try other menu items. A big thanks to the wait staff for accommodating us so that both daughters could split the Father's Day meal. We also loved the decor, featuring charming roosters and Joshua trees, possibly from Joshua Tree National Park. The Machaca was especially tasty and savory. Overall, the food was good, with normal-sized portions and great vibes.
Easy Egg Cafe

Easy Egg Cafe in Lancaster is truly a fantastic spot for breakfast. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the pancakes are a must-try. I've also enjoyed the Croissant Turkey sandwich and can't wait to try the eggs benedict next time. The service is usually quick, which is great considering how popular this place is. Even though the atmosphere isn't anything extraordinary, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Despite the occasional wait due to its popularity, the portions are generous, and everything is cooked just right. I even asked for my omelet eggs to be cooked soft, and they nailed it. The service was excellent, making my visit pleasant and fulfilling. The cafe is a cozy spot that's perfect for enjoying a hearty breakfast. I'm happy to recommend it to friends, family, and anyone visiting the area. If you're looking for a reliable breakfast spot with great food, Easy Egg Cafe is a solid choice.
The Village Grille

I went to The Village Grille for breakfast in Lancaster, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was super friendly, which really set the tone for a great meal. This place is everything you’d expect from a classic diner, with all the typical breakfast options you’d want. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and steaming hot on the inside. I’ve been there twice, and the consistency in food and service is impressive. The Country Omelette I tried was delicious, and my wife really enjoyed the Hot Sausage Skillet. The portions are decent, the service is quick, and the prices are fair, which makes it a great option for a quick bite. While the location might not be the best, that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Cleanliness, friendly staff, fair prices, and incredible food—what’s not to love? I absolutely recommend stopping here if you’re passing through.

On my frequent government TDYs, I stumbled upon Crazy Otto's Diner in Lancaster, and it was hands down the best meal I've had on the road. The service was excellent, and the portions were mind-blowing. The quality of the food was top-notch, and I can't help but wish there was a Crazy Otto's in my city. This place deserves to go national—it would definitely put Denny's and IHOP to shame. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and despite being busy, I was seated quickly. The prices are reasonable, and I would absolutely come back for more. I even spotted a super cute old car outside that added to the charm. After traveling to PD for over 30 years, I finally tried this gem. I had the country fried steak and eggs, while my colleague opted for hash and eggs. The service was very good, and even though my country fried steak was a little soggy, it was still delicious. The portions are amazing; I could only eat half of my meal! This place truly has my heart. The prices are fair, and the experience was fantastic. I love this place! 🇺🇸
Jackies Cafe

Brenda Spellman
Every time we go for breakfast at Jackie's Cafe, it’s always a delight. Even though the portions have gotten a bit smaller, the food is consistently delicious, and I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon. The staff is friendly, though I think the decor could use a refresh as it feels a bit worn and dark. Nevertheless, I highly recommend giving it a try; it’s a hidden gem in Lancaster. On my first visit, everything was fantastic—from the customer service to the food! I ordered the chicken papas with a pancake on the side and ended up eating every bite. The picture I took shows the chorizo plate, or at least what was left of it! With great food and great people, I’ll likely make this a weekly stop. The cafe offers something for every taste with good portion sizes and budget-friendly prices. It might be plain inside, but it’s cozy and comfortable. The servers are attentive, and the location is convenient with ample parking across from Costco. It’s a quiet, low-key cafe perfect for a weekend morning, and I especially appreciated Carolina’s polite and efficient service. Definitely worth checking out!
Scramblez Grill & Bar

I finally got to try Scramblez Grill & Bar in Lancaster, and I had a great experience. Even though it was busy, the staff was attentive, and the service was excellent. I loved that they serve breakfast all day, and the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was handmade—very impressive. The pancakes were also great, with those perfect crunchy edges I love. The Bloody Marys were some of the best I've had in a while, and I highly recommend trying them. The prices are very affordable, especially for families, which is always a bonus. I appreciated that the food wasn't overly salty, making it a great option for those watching their salt intake, like my dad who has high blood pressure. We were allowed to sit and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed, and the staff kept our coffee cups filled without being pushy. The fajita omelette was tasty, and while the biscuits and gravy could use a bit more sausage flavor or black pepper, they were still enjoyable. Overall, Scramblez Grill & Bar is definitely worth a visit.
The Original Karen's Kitchen

The Original Karen's Kitchen in Lancaster is a real hidden gem! The sandwiches are so delicious that I genuinely crave them, and I'm not even a sandwich person. The bread is amazing, loaded with generous portions of meat, and the dressing is tangy and perfectly balanced. Even though I live far from this place, I can't wait to visit again soon. The service is top-notch, with a super friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. There's not enough stars to rate how amazing this place is. Since our first visit, it's become our go-to breakfast spot after church. The staff is great—attentive, kind, and personable. I've had a less-than-stellar experience ordering from a different Karen's Kitchen location through Uber Eats, but the Lancaster spot is perfect. The location itself is modern and nicely decorated, and their biscuits and gravy are pretty good too. Definitely a solid 4/5!
The Workz Lancaster
1748 E Ave. J, Lancaster

Hipolito Mccray
I was in the area for work and decided to stop by The Workz Lancaster for breakfast. It was my first time here, and I was impressed! The waffles were fantastic with a perfect crisp outer layer and soft inside, making for a delicious start to the day. I also tried the California skillet and veggie omelette, both of which were fresh and flavorful. My kid loved the French toast, which was a plus. The service was friendly and fast, making the experience even better. I noticed they had done a nice facelift since I last visited, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I even took some photos because the food looked so good! I’ve been back a few times since, trying different dishes. It's typical diner food, but the consistency and quality of the meals, along with the great service, have made me bump my rating from a 3 to a 4 out of 5. I also stopped by for lunch once. While the chicken strips with fries were a bit average and dry, the Western bacon cheeseburger was a highlight with great value—coming with a box including a burger, chicken strips, and fries. The service remained friendly and prompt, although parking can be a challenge due to the strip mall location. Overall, I would definitely come back for breakfast and recommend the waffles and skillet dishes!
Denny's

I had a surprisingly delightful experience at Denny's for breakfast in Lancaster. The overnight staff truly knows how to deliver exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection, satisfying my morning cravings. One of the highlights for me is their great prices, which make it an easy choice for a tasty breakfast outing. While I do miss the waffles with fruit, the overall menu still offers a wide range of delicious options that leave me satisfied every time. Using their app for convenience is a bonus, making the whole experience even smoother. It's always a pleasure to visit Denny's and enjoy a reliable, tasty breakfast.
Tom's Burgers 30
42741 30th St W, Lancaster
(661) 718-0777
Hussain Gutman
Tom's Burgers 30 in Lancaster is a great breakfast spot. They make delicious meals, and I particularly recommend the Country Fried Steak. It's a very kid-friendly place, and they even have a robot that delivers food to your table, which is quite fun. My girlfriend and I once visited for lunch. I ordered the half-pound patty melt, which was tasty, though it could use a bit more seasoning. My girlfriend ordered a steak, but she found it too tough for her liking. The staff was apologetic and tried to resolve the issue, but the second steak still wasn't quite right. The establishment is clean, and the service is good. I've had a club sandwich there that met my expectations. While I generally prefer another local spot, Primos, Tom's is a fine place to eat. On a previous visit, I did notice that some cooks weren't wearing gloves, which was concerning. I brought it to the attention of the manager, and they addressed it immediately. Overall, Tom’s Burgers 30 is a solid choice for breakfast and offers a satisfying dining experience.
Sun Flower Cafe

Sun Flower Cafe is a cute and charming breakfast spot in Lancaster. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how clean the restaurant was, with an adorable decor that makes it feel very welcoming. One suggestion I have is that they could introduce a sunflower seed salad or sandwich to match their theme. During my visit, I tried the crepes, which were more like Swedish pancakes—slightly thick, but still delicious. My partner and I also indulged in the chilaquiles, which were absolutely fantastic. It's one of those dishes that brings me back to this place again and again. My partner enjoyed the rice as well, which says a lot because I'm very picky about it, and it was amazing. The staff here is incredibly friendly, and I felt right at home throughout our meal. On a previous visit, I tried the coconut French toast with eggs and bacon, and it was cooked to perfection—fluffy, crispy, and simply delightful. The location is convenient, especially being near an economical urgent care facility for those without medical insurance. Plus, there’s plenty of parking thanks to the vacant grocery store next door. The seating options are great, with both indoor tables and booths, as well as a cozy outdoor patio. Overall, Sun Flower Cafe has become one of my favorite local breakfast spots with its great food and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious and pleasant breakfast experience.
Farmer Boys

Blanca Rosado
I had a fantastic breakfast experience at Farmer Boys in Lancaster. From the get-go, I was impressed by the clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I felt welcome and taken care of even during a busy morning. I decided to try the chicken avocado club along with some fried zucchini strips and an iced tea. The club sandwich was delightful; the chicken was juicy, and the avocado added a creamy touch. The zucchini strips were piping hot and deliciously crispy, but a tip for anyone ordering them—let them cool for a bit before digging in! The fries were also a pleasant surprise, fresh and perfectly crispy. Despite the morning rush, my order was handled efficiently, and the staff made sure everything was just right before I left. Parking was a breeze with plenty of spaces available, including handicap options, and I appreciated how well-maintained the restrooms were. Overall, my visit to Farmer Boys was a refreshing start to the day, and I would definitely recommend stopping by for a satisfying breakfast.
Primo Cafe
44599 Vly Central Wy #6526, Lancaster
(661) 466-2287
Isabela Drott
I ordered the $15 sampler plate at Primo Cafe for breakfast in Lancaster and, despite a couple of substitutions, was delighted with the experience. The sampler was supposed to include chicken strips, onion rings, taquitos, and quesadillas. Although they replaced the taquitos and quesadillas with mozzarella sticks, everything tasted amazing. The chicken tenders were especially delicious and left me impressed with their flavor. The prices have been rising, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. I've been visiting for about 7-8 years and never encountered any issues with the meals. The staff has always been friendly and efficient, enhancing the dining experience. Admittedly, the dining room hasn’t been very busy during my visits, with a noticeable smell from the bathrooms impacting the atmosphere on my last two visits. However, the bacon avocado cheeseburger and spicy Polish sausage—despite resembling a hotdog—were standout menu items. Exploring their dinner offerings was a pleasant surprise as well. The jumbo shrimp with fries, bread, and salad was a fantastic deal at $19. The freshness and quality of the meal, from the shrimp to the salad dressing, were remarkable. The staff was quick and helpful, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Overall, Primo Cafe continues to impress with its tasty meals and decent pricing, especially compared to what I typically spend on eating out. If you haven't been, it's worth checking out this local gem and enjoying their consistently tasty offerings.
