My partner and I had a fantastic breakfast experience at The Spot SoMa in Little Rock. We went around noon on a Tuesday and were greeted by super chill and friendly staff. We decided to split the waffle flight and some coffee, sampling the Cristo, The Elvis, Chicken & Waffles, and The Hangover. Everything was so delicious that we didn't leave a single crumb behind! There was outdoor seating available, but we opted for a cozy booth inside. Jessica was incredibly friendly and patient as we took our time deciding on which waffles to order. The flight was an excellent choice because it allowed us to taste several flavors without missing out. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable, and the chicken and waffles were a standout for me. Jessica warmly greeted us the moment we walked in and answered all our menu questions. Wearing my Auburn University t-shirt, I even got a friendly "War Eagle" from her, which made me feel right at home. Our order arrived quickly and accurately despite the busy morning crowd. My daughter declared it was the best waffle ever, and I couldn’t agree more! Huge thanks to Aaron, Jessica, Grace, and CJ for their impeccable customer service. We’ll definitely be back for more amazing waffles and friendly vibes. Keep up the great work!

The wait was a bit longer than quoted (tip: use their website to get on the waitlist early!), but once seated, the experience at Big Bad Breakfast in Downtown Little Rock exceeded my expectations. The food arrived quicker than anticipated and tasted fantastic. Despite how busy it was, the service was top-notch. Our server, Sean, was attentive, promptly greeting us and offering great suggestions based on what we liked. He was also efficient in refilling drinks and clearing dishes. Every dish we tried was delicious, but the standout was the biscuits and sausage gravy—so good that it's worth coming back whenever I'm near Little Rock. I highly recommend it for breakfast, especially the bacon, grits, table salsa, scramble, and those amazing biscuits and gravy. I give it 5 out of 5 stars! The homestyle breakfast vibe was on point. I enjoyed the fresh oatmeal with brown sugar and strawberries, and it was delightful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with clean facilities and the option for outside seating on Historic Main St. This place is perfect for brunch, too. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne for mimosas, and the chicken and waffles and pancakes were delicious. They were also fantastic with our daughter, being patient as she ordered various drinks. Sean checked on us multiple times to ensure everything was just right. I found this diner via Google Maps, and it was a fantastic stop during our downtown Little Rock exploration. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the restaurant was bustling with locals—which is always a good sign. Plus, there was plenty of free street parking, making it convenient. I highly recommend stopping by when you have the chance!

I love finding hidden gems on my travels, and Frontier Diner in Little Rock is just that. I popped in for breakfast and was impressed by the friendly and efficient service, even though they were really busy. The food was delicious—biscuits and gravy so good my husband didn't even miss his flapjack. The star of my visit, though, was the homemade apple pie pudding. It's easily in the top 1% of best desserts I've ever tasted. With its perfect texture and sublime softness, it pairs beautifully with two scoops of vanilla ice cream—an absolute must-try! I also tried the beef tips and rice, one of my all-time favorites, and Frontier Diner did not disappoint. It’s a small, unassuming place, but the food and service are top-notch. With daily specials that leave you full and content, I’m eager to return for lunch and explore more of the menu. If you’re in Little Rock, stop thinking and go eat at Frontier Diner—you won’t regret it!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! I stopped in for breakfast before a flight and made sure to visit again on my next trip through Little Rock. The food is fresh and fast, the coffee is well above average, and their biscuits are unforgettable. If you enjoy a mix of eclectic, colorful, and friendly vibes, this is the spot for you. It's just a fantastic place to relax and grab a bite. The staff is great, and it has a funky atmosphere. I tried the cheeseburger, and it was the best I've had in years. The only regret was not ordering fries, which I've heard are massive and perfect for sharing. We visited while traveling from Michigan to Hot Springs for a break, and I loved the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and James, our server, had fantastic recommendations. Kudos to James for providing excellent service! The menu is absolutely delicious, featuring vegan and vegetarian options, salads, and creative entrees. The cocktails are strong, fresh, and reasonably priced. Whether you sit in the garden or on the covered patio, the ambience is homey and comfortable. We've been twice now and had an overall great experience. The atmosphere at Hillcrest Little Bakery is amazing. The food is phenomenal, and the service is unmatched—everyone here is awesome. You can truly tell the food is made with love. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot, not just for brunch, but for the all-around great service. It's a cute little spot with well-seasoned food and generous portion sizes—enough for two people. The coffee drinks are delicious. We had the hot chicken biscuit, blueberry pancake, and swimming eggs Benedict. The biscuit was so soft and pillowy—a must-try! We'll definitely be back 😊. Parking can be a bit tricky, but driving around the block once usually does the trick. The HLB Breakfast Sampler and a hot tea came to about $20 before tip, and if it means the staff is fairly compensated, I’m all for it. My family was passing through and decided to stop here for breakfast, and the staff was polite, taking time to answer our questions. The food was delicious and filling, and we even got cupcakes and brownies to go. Everything was homemade and delicious. Highly recommend! Our kids loved it too!

The Grind Coffee Bistro at Arkansas Baptist College is such an incredible find. The atmosphere is both gorgeous and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was spot-on; friendly and efficient. I tried the regular coffee and a latte, and both were smooth and flavorful, served at the perfect temperature just as I requested. On my return visit, I was equally impressed by the food. The new bistro on campus offers amazing service and the best coffee I've had in the area. My favorite is the Blueberry Latte—definitely a must-try! My friend and I had brunch there recently, and it was a phenomenal experience. Heaven, our server, took great care of us and made us feel right at home. I'm considering making this my regular breakfast spot. The caramel latte and warm chocolate chip muffin were soooo delicious! I can't wait for next Sunday to try their Soul Food Sunday menu. This place is a hidden treasure, and I'd recommend it to anyone who stumbles upon it. It was our first time here, as our usual coffee spot was closed, and I'm so glad we gave this place a try. We were warmly greeted right from the start. Heaven was quick to help and made our experience even better with her kindness and attentiveness. I enjoyed a large iced pumpkin spiced latte and a chocolate chip muffin for a great price. Warming the muffin was an excellent suggestion and truly made it delectable. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather as Heaven brought everything to our table. While we didn't have time to explore their lunch and dinner options, I'm eager to return and try more of their menu. The Grind Coffee Bistro is a fantastic spot, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone. It was a great experience all around.

I had a nice visit to Delicious Temptations in Little Rock for breakfast with a few co-workers. I decided to try the Philly steak breakfast burrito and it was just what I expected—simple but delicious. I appreciated being able to swap out the provolone cheese for American with no fuss or extra charge. Our waitress was really nice and hospitable, which added to the good experience. The menu had a decent variety of options, and although I played it safe for my first visit, there was plenty to choose from. My coworkers ordered burgers. One had a slight issue with missing bacon and the wrong cheese, but the staff corrected it quickly. There were a few highlights, like the delicious strawberry butter and the reasonable prices of the mimosas. The hash brown casserole was a hit for me, though opinions differed on the potato casserole. The staff was excellent, making sure we were taken care of, especially when my mimosa glass accidentally broke. The owner was sweet and attentive. The location in a shopping center means parking is easy, which is always a plus. While you can't make reservations, the wait was just about 15-20 minutes when we arrived at 10 am. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I wouldn’t mind stopping by again next time I’m in Little Rock. It's a solid spot for breakfast, with friendly service and a comfortable setting.

This little place was absolutely lovely, and the food was delicious. It felt like visiting a friend’s house and having a great home-cooked meal. I loved the avocado on the bacon omelette, the potatoes were really flavorful, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The portions were great, and I had plenty to take home with me. The French toast breakfast was amazing—zero complaints there. The food was so good. I chose this place because I wanted breakfast at 2 pm, and they serve breakfast all day. The staff was nice and helpful. The service was quick, and the food was affordable. I paid about $6 for two eggs and hash browns. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, and I'm considering going back. On my first visit, we ordered at the front and seated ourselves. While it took a while for the food to arrive, it was worth the wait. My sisters' meals came before mine, but the Cajun turkey sausage, eggs, French toast, red potatoes, and freshly made orange and carrot juice I ordered were all delicious and hot. The orange/carrot juice was a standout for me. The staff, though only two people, were really nice but seemed overwhelmed. It appeared that more focus was given to to-go orders and answering phones than the guests in the restaurant. I would go back because the food was so great. I understand good staff is hard to find nowadays, but maybe a sign about the focus on to-go orders could help manage expectations.

McBride's Cafe has become one of my favorite breakfast spots whenever I'm near Baptist Medical Center. A few Mondays back, I enjoyed a delicious Western Omelette paired with a nice cup of coffee. The omelette was truly great! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service always comes with a smile, making it a superb place to grab a bite. However, a couple of things caught my attention. They no longer serve decaf coffee or have 'half n half' available, which is disappointing for those of us who have specific dietary needs. The placement of coffee add-ins could use some improvement as well; it’s a bit awkward reaching them amidst people getting cold drinks or serving others. Despite these minor inconveniences, McBride's consistently delivers the best breakfast, lunches, and sweets in the area. The Razorback biscuit with sausage and egg is a standout, and the turkey club is hands down one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had. While it would be great to see some adjustments, like offering decaf or convenient creamer options, the overall experience at McBride's makes it worth a visit every time. I genuinely appreciate the quality and taste of their food, and I’m looking forward to returning soon!

Breakfast at @ The Corner Diner in Little Rock was a unique experience that had its ups and downs. The concept of ordering food first and then grabbing your own coffee and water before being seated was different from what I'm used to, but it added a casual, self-service charm to the whole experience. Once seated, I found the atmosphere to be warm and inviting, with great tunes playing in the background. The food itself was absolutely amazing—hands down some of the best breakfast in Little Rock. I particularly loved how professional the staff was and the drinks were a nice touch. Despite the wait of about 40 minutes for our food and the somewhat inattentive service due to the pre-pay setup, the overall vibe was pleasant, and the place is even pet-friendly. While there were a few hiccups, like a cold piece of bacon and a subpar pancake, the quality of the other food more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend @ The Corner Diner to friends and family and am looking forward to returning myself.

I had a couple of hours to spare and decided to stop by The Buttered Biscuit in West Little Rock for breakfast. Right from the start, I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered a vanilla latte, and while it was a bit too sweet for my taste, the overall experience was great. I tried the ham, egg, and cheese biscuit with strawberry jam. It was decent, but not the standout I hoped for. We visited on a bustling Sunday morning, so the place was packed. We opted to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a fantastic decision. Watching the staff work was impressive. The kitchen was a well-oiled machine, with food flying out quickly and beautifully presented. For my main dish, I ordered the Kicking Chicken with waffles, and it was delicious. My favorite part of the visit was the service. Clarissa was amazing, frequently checking in on us and even letting us sample the mouthwatering lemon curd. I also loved that they offered great gluten-free options, like the lemon curd beignets and gluten-free biscuits and gravy. My gluten-free biscuit with French toast batter, egg, bacon, and syrup was a treat. Overall, it was a joyful brunch experience, and I'll definitely be back for more. My experience at The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.® for breakfast in Little Rock was truly positive. On my first morning there, the woman running the show was exceptional. Not only did she prepare the food perfectly, but she also displayed professionalism and a fantastic attitude. Despite being at the end of her shift, she took the time to ensure my breakfast was made just right, and then efficiently transitioned to the front desk to continue her work. Her dedication was impressive. The next morning, my experience wasn't as great. There were two men working; one was sweet and friendly, but not the one who prepared my food. The young man serving me seemed uninterested, and unfortunately, my food was burnt and inedible. His slow service and apathetic attitude were disappointing. On morning three, I was thrilled to find the exceptional woman from day one was back! Her name is Kiki, and once again, she delivered fantastic service. The food was delicious, and even the coffee was good, a win for my husband who isn’t a fan of Starbucks. Kiki’s bright smile and positive attitude made the experience so much better. It's rare to encounter such friendly and welcoming service in restaurants and shops. Though there was some disappointment with the hours listed on the website not matching reality, the positive encounters with Kiki certainly made me consider returning for breakfast if she's there. Great customer service truly makes a difference.

I had a great experience at Homer’s Kitchen Table for breakfast in Little Rock. The service was excellent, capturing the essence of traditional Southern hospitality in this charming family-owned spot. Both dishes we tried were delicious, offering classic American fare at its best. The homey decor made the place feel welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. We arrived around 11:00 on a Tuesday, and it wasn’t busy at first but filled up quickly by noon, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if you come later. It did get a little noisy as more people arrived, but that’s to be expected. Parking was free, which is always a plus. I also had dinner here the night before and loved it! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, enhancing the experience. While the portions are on the smaller side, the flavors are definitely worth it. There are lots of choices on the menu, including some unique options like the Jalapeno Bottle Caps, which I highly recommend trying. Despite the hustle and bustle, the atmosphere reminded me of a smaller Cracker Barrel. Overall, it’s a place I’d happily return to when in the area.

The Toasted Yolk Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Little Rock! I went with a group of six and we used Yelp to preregister for our seating, which worked out great. We waited about 10-15 minutes after registering. Our group ordered French toast, cowboy scrambles, a breakfast burrito, a brisket scramble, and their signature toasted yolk, plus those donuts with caramel sauce. Everything was delicious and arrived quicker than expected, despite our large group size. It's clear they handle groups well. My wife and I had our first visit there this morning, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant, and even though it was busy, there was plenty of seating. She had the breakfast burrito and I had the brisket scramble—both were outstanding. We enjoyed some refreshing drinks too; she loved her iced coffee, and I tried a couple of mixed morning drinks that were great. Our server, Emily, was amazing—attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Definitely ask for her section. This place is a top brunch spot; the kids love it too. The wait time usually isn't as long as they say, and it’s definitely worth it. The shrimp and grits is a must-try. Located near the Promenade, it's a great breakfast place in Little Rock. I had one of their omelettes, which was delicious, along with the tasty hash brown casserole. Overall, it’s a 10/10 experience and we’ll definitely be back.

We decided to try dinner at Red Door since we usually visit for weekend brunch. The dinner menu offered a wide variety of options, but we went with the burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was big, tasty, and less greasy than David's Burgers, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely come back to explore more of their dinner options. I also tried the Mahi tacos, which had a great flavor and were filled with more fish than a typical taco; I had to eat some fish before adding the toppings. My wife and daughter shared the chicken parm, and it was delicious with plenty of portions for both of them. On a weekday, we decided to drop by around lunchtime and were in the mood for brunch. We ordered biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy, eggs benedict florentine, and two pineapple mimosas. The only downside was the breakfast potatoes, which didn’t quite hit the spot for me. However, the eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce, despite being a bit thin, was bursting with flavor. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. The total came to around $60, and it was a really satisfying brunch. I also met a friend there once and had an amazing egg sandwich on an English muffin. The coffee was great, though I wished my V8 arrived a bit quicker. I’ll definitely be dropping in again!

Big Bad Breakfast in Little Rock absolutely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was really welcoming, and I loved the nostalgic mix of 80s and 90s music playing in the background. My husband started his morning with a Bloody Mary and a BLT Omelet, while I indulged in a Caramel Apple-mosa paired with the Cathead Chicken Biscuit. Every bite and sip was delightful. Our server was incredibly attentive, taking the time to walk us through the menu and share some interesting history about the restaurant. We were impressed with how fast our food and drinks arrived. Despite a short 10-minute wait to be seated, everything else was spot on. We also tried the Biscuit Crumble, the Yard Work Skillet, and a side waffle around 11 am. While the waffle didn't quite hit the mark for us, we both loved the experience overall. The homemade jelly was a highlight. It's worth noting that there's a seating limit on weekends, which might be inconvenient for larger groups, so plan accordingly. On our way back home, we couldn't resist stopping by again. I had the Cat Head Chicken & Biscuit, and my husband had the Chicken & Waffles. Both dishes were flawless, making it one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. During an early Friday morning visit, I sat at the bar and enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet with added pineapple and a side of fruit. The grilled pineapple was a nice touch, and Madison, my waitress, provided excellent service. If I find myself in Little Rock again, Big Bad Breakfast is definitely where I'll be heading for breakfast.

As a visitor from California, I recently had a great breakfast experience at Waffle House near the Little Rock airport. This spot, conveniently located near several hotels and sharing a parking lot with a Motel 6, offers an authentic American dining experience with plenty of Southern charm. I was particularly thrilled to enjoy grits along with classic breakfast staples like sausage, bacon, and eggs. The shift leader was an exceptional server, and the atmosphere was welcoming and unpretentious. For a simple, delicious, and reasonably priced meal, this place is hard to beat. I enjoyed my breakfast so much that I ordered a to-go sausage and eggs bowl for the hotel desk clerk who recommended Waffle House to me. Despite a slight mix-up with my Chicken Melt Hash Brown Bowl (they forgot the jalapenos and mushrooms), the food was still delicious. I didn’t point out the omission, so I was still charged, but the meal was satisfying enough that it didn’t bother me much. The All-Star breakfast, now priced at $10 instead of $13, was another highlight. The staff truly made the experience special with their attentive and friendly service. I was greeted warmly by everyone as I entered, which set a positive tone for my visit. It was a peaceful morning, and I appreciated not feeling rushed as I enjoyed my meal. This Waffle House in Little Rock is definitely a place I plan to visit regularly.
