The fruit side was massive compared to any other fruit serving I've had at a restaurant. Coffee refills were plentiful, and the staff seemed to serve all the tables rather than just sticking to their assignments. Inside the restaurant was small, but there were plenty of seats on the outside patio. The bathroom was clean too, and even a bit charming! The highlight for me was definitely the service—10/10! Everyone was so kind and patient, and every staff member checked on us to see if we needed anything. If something was needed, they brought it right away, even if they weren't our assigned server. The location is convenient, right off the main street, so parking can be a bit tricky, but we managed fine. The outdoor seating is right by the street, which means it can be noisy with cars zipping by, so it might not be the spot if you’re looking for a quiet meal. Overall, I liked this place, but since it’s not close to home, I might not visit as often. I should note that the waiter was very nice and polite. One reason for my 4-star rating is that the cinnamon French toast was more toast than French—it was a bit dry, even with syrup and butter. The taste was there, but it could have been more consistent and flavorful. On the upside, you might not find a better breakfast burrito than their bacon one. It's huge and definitely worth the price for its quality. The salsa is great, but I like adding some Tapatio for an extra kick. If you're in the mood for a breakfast shot, they do it best here, especially with the bacon element. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant, even though their baked goods now come from other bakeries rather than being made in-house. We were treated to a delicious spread with Shrimp and Grits, Oreo pancakes, and two orders of the linguica and sausage scramble. The fun atmosphere, coupled with a few costumes around, made for a lively morning, and we even chatted about the Dodgers. The food was fantastic—especially the avocado toast—and the coffee was excellent. Marissa and Victoria were incredibly attentive and kind, making us feel welcome. This was our second visit, and the experience has been consistently awesome. We initially chose Breakfast Republic for its gluten-free options, and on our first visit, our server Victoria, along with Alexis, made sure to accommodate my allergy. The vibe and location are great, with easy parking and reasonable prices. Don’t miss the bottomless strawberry lemonade and the chilaquiles! One hiccup was the seating system, as our group of five waited longer despite available seating. But overall, it’s an excellent spot with good food at the right price.
