This place was recommended to try out, and I'm glad we came! We got the Willow Club Sandwich and the Italian Sandwich. Both had unique tastes, and each bite was very tasty! I also tried the Oatmeal Cookie Latte (half sweet), and it was one of the best! I'm glad I stopped at this lovely café. Their special latte drinks were good. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. They were good, though slightly cold. I enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the design – it’s beautiful and creative. It was a perfect quick bite while traveling through Lubbock. The food was excellent, the drinks were smooth and refreshing, and the staff was friendly. The interior vibe was cool. This is an amazing coffee shop with a beautiful story behind it. I feel blessed to have found this gem in Lubbock!

I noticed someone was always cleaning up around the store, which kept the place looking really clean. However, the kids' area could use a bit more parental supervision. Despite these small issues, it was a great spot for a quick lunch break, and I'm planning to return. Zaid stood out with his friendly and patient demeanor. The food was spot-on and perfect after a concert at the Buddy Holly Hall. However, when I arrived for breakfast, it was a bit disappointing to see the front counter more concerned with personal matters on their phones. I had to wait until I was finally served, and it didn't match the high customer service standards I expect from Chick-fil-A. It was frustrating to wait for a refill because the front-end leader was focused on her phone. I hope this isn't the typical procedure for this location. On a brighter note, the new drive-up operation is fantastic. Even during the busy lunch rush, we were in and out in less than ten minutes with a fresh and accurate order. Overall, I'll definitely be going back.

The atmosphere here is so welcoming, and I love coming to this location. Jacob, who took my order, was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. I always enjoy starting my day with breakfast at Red Zone Cafe in Lubbock. The food is consistently tasty, and the service is good, even when the place is packed. While the green beans were canned, everything else tasted fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. I've had breakfast and brunch here several times, and they never miss. It's often busy, but I prefer to eat in, and they also have great takeout options, according to my family. The staff is incredibly friendly, managing to keep up their spirits even when they're swamped with customers. Being a regular customer for a while now, the food has always been satisfactory. However, I did recommend Red Zone Cafe to my church group, and 22 out of 30 were a bit disappointed because of the hash browns, which were undercooked. Despite this, I'll continue to be a loyal customer because I know they usually get it right. Overall, breakfast is great, and the prices are very good.

Rain Cafe is a solid spot for breakfast in Lubbock. I tend to try different entrees whenever I visit, and this time, I decided to go for the green chile Swiss cheese burger, minus the cheese. While the burger itself didn’t quite hit the mark for me—the green chiles seemed boiled and a bit bland, lacking some flavor—the meal had its highlights. The french fries were fantastic, and the crusted french toast was downright amazing. Our brunch was quite the gathering with 18 people, but the hostess expertly arranged a comfortable area for us to dine and chat. Our waitress was spot-on with everyone's orders. We also had a steak plate ordered medium rare, and though it arrived well done, it was still tender and delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and I have to give a special shoutout to the biscuits—they’re toasted on the grill and are impressively good. Overall, the food here is really top-notch. The burger might not have been my favorite, but it's the best I’ve had in years! Great service, great food, and clean bathrooms round out the experience. They had Fox News on, which isn’t my preference, but that’s a minor personal gripe. I’d definitely recommend checking out Rain Cafe for breakfast or brunch.

To start, this place seems like it won't hit the marks you're looking for. You're wrong! The menu has so many different options, and the portions are generous! We've been coming since before when it was The Egg and I. They kept a lot of the same concept, just a name change really. I've been coming back for the bacon avocado scrambler, and I tell you what, you put that stuff on some sourdough, and bam. You got something special! The pancake is huge. I will say it was a little crumbly, but it's all wheat, so at least it's somewhat healthy. The kids enjoyed everything, and one ate so fast I couldn't snag a pic! We'll be back even if there's a wait to sit! Well worth the time and money! Pics are 2 egg breakfast, kids pancake, and bacon avocado scrambler with added sourdough toast. This is my new favorite breakfast place in Lubbock, and that's saying something! I'm very picky about breakfast and will very rarely spend money on going somewhere to eat for breakfast, but if I could, I would literally eat here every day. We got the Cambridge skillet, biscuit & gravy omelette, and strawberry cheesecake waffle (the last two were only on special for August), and everything exceeded my expectations. Our server Genevieve was so sweet, happy, and helpful, the whole staff was great. We visited here on 4/23 around 10 AM. The restaurant was clean, and there were a lot of people there. There wasn’t a wait, though, which was great! The server immediately brought our table water and a high chair. Unfortunately, the high chair didn’t buckle, so my kid could easily stand up and get out. We ordered coffee, and that was hot and not bitter, which was nice since I drink it black. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were delicious! It came with eggs, and I ordered mine over medium, but the consistency wasn’t great, and they were bland. The potatoes that came with it were ok. I tried my friend’s pancake, and that tasted kind of bitter to me. Overall, the food was okay, but the service was great. If someone invited me to go with them here, I’d order just a side of biscuits and gravy and be happy, but I probably wouldn’t choose to go here by myself. But if you like biscuits and gravy, this is the place! We enjoyed breakfast here around 9:00 on 10/7. There was about a 10-minute wait for our party of two. Once we were seated, we were warmly welcomed by our server who took great care of us. I ordered a coffee and the Texas Skillet, and my wife got the Crab Cake Benedict. The coffee was nice and hot, but it was not as good as some of the coffees I’ve had around town. But I won’t let that affect my rating because the skillet was absolutely delicious. The steak was juicy and flavorful, the roasted mushrooms had a great umami flavor, the peppers and onions were cooked perfectly, and my eggs were a perfect over medium as ordered. Even the English muffins on the side were fantastic, not just a placeholder. My wife really enjoyed her Crab Cake Benedict as well, and the dressing on her greens was addictive. She ate them all, which is not usual for her. Overall, we had a good time with great food.

I visited Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory for breakfast in Lubbock, and while there were some ups and downs, it's clear that they have certain standout features. The tortillas were definitely impressive, living up to their reputation. The chicken fajita had a nice flavor, and the guacamole was good as well. I do hope they maintain consistency with their portion sizes, as the Chile Verde burrito was smaller than expected. On the positive side, the fiesta salad with steak was fantastic. The flavor of the steak was outstanding, and although a bit pricey, it's worth indulging in every now and then. The staff managed to correct my order when I forgot to request romaine, which was appreciated. The ambiance inside is vibrant, adding to the overall experience. The flour tortillas are a highlight, and I would recommend trying them along with their salsa and chips. While there are areas where the café can improve, particularly with service, the quality of certain dishes makes it a place worth visiting occasionally for specific items.

We hadn't been to Lubbock's Breakfast House & Grill in a while, but it’s always our go-to spot for a fantastic breakfast with top-notch service. It was a bit warm inside, but as usual, both the food and service made up for it. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they quickly resolve any rare issues with the food. The tables are cleaned up promptly, ensuring everyone gets seated quickly. We make it a point to come here every Sunday, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a varied menu and excellent service. We finally decided to try the location on University after hearing great things, and it didn’t disappoint! We were so impressed that we went back the next day, and both visits were equally enjoyable. Gloria and Demi, our servers, were sweet and attentive, keeping our coffee hot and our meals coming just as we like them. Even when our biscuits and gravy arrived cold, they quickly fixed it without any fuss. I recommend trying the Pork chop and eggs with home-fried potatoes, the Chicken biscuits and gravy, or the Ham, green chili, and cheese omelette—each dish was delicious! While I found the strawberry pancakes had too many strawberries for my taste and the eggs a bit too moist, these minor details didn’t take away from the overall great experience. We’re definitely new regulars whenever we’re in town!

This location is awesome. Lee took great care of my wife and me and introduced us to the Fuzzy Driver Mimosa. Fantastic! The food here is consistently great, and I love coming here for breakfast. You have to try the potato, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito with brisket—it's my favorite. It was our first time here, and the food and atmosphere were perfect and relaxing. The manager, Mike, was very attentive and made sure all the tables and employees were well taken care of, which isn't something you see often these days. For anyone needing nighttime munchies, I highly recommend the nachos and margaritas. The visit was because my son had Freshman Orientation for Texas Tech, and we decided to stop in for dinner. The grilled chicken quesadillas, birria bowl, seasoned ground beef nachos, and the combo plate were all excellent. The frozen mango margarita rimmed with salt was my favorite. The food and atmosphere were very inviting, and there were no complaints at all. I'm eager to try more menu items and look forward to my next visit.

Tech Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast or a quick bite in Lubbock. The standout feature here is undoubtedly the staff—they're friendly, quick, and make you feel right at home. I love that there's a drive-through option too, so you can enjoy their delicious food without having to leave your car if you don't want to. I highly recommend trying the Catfish and the Banana Cream pie. They're absolutely the best down-home cooking you'll find in town! Everything is hot, fresh, and made to order. The chips and salsa are fresh and hot, and you can even get breakfast for lunch and dinner, which is a huge plus. The Steakfinger Plate is a must-try, hand-breaded and cooked to perfection. If you're in the mood for something grilled, their burgers and Philly cheese steak are delicious. I have mixed feelings about The Farmhouse Restaurant in Lubbock for breakfast. Let me start by saying I wasn't impressed with The Farmhouse hash. I found the pulled pork lacking in flavor and didn't care much for the potatoes that came with it; I think fries would have been a better choice. However, the rest of my family's meals were outstanding, and I believe 99% of the menu is excellent. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. The pancakes, which are as big as your head, didn't completely win me over because they were too fluffy in the middle, but that's just my personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant, and when I shared my thoughts on the hash with the waitress, she was very polite and even offered a replacement dish. I appreciated her kindness. Now, let's talk about the chicken tenders. They seem to be handmade, and they might just be some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly flavored, they're a must-try. I'm also looking forward to going back to try their biscuits and gravy. Despite a few drawbacks, like a bit of a wait and some cleanliness issues, the overall experience was positive. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food, and the service was great—special shoutout to Ashley for doing an amazing job. We arrived around 8:35 am, and while we had a 25-30 minute wait for our meal, the food was absolutely worth it. My husband ordered the French toast without powdered sugar, and I chose the spicy garden omelet. Both were delicious and perfectly seasoned. Our server, Amanda, was sweet and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. I usually go to the Farmhouse on Milwaukee Avenue but decided to try this location since we had an appointment nearby. Despite the wait, I was impressed with the portion sizes and quality of the food, making it a must-try for anyone with a big appetite. During a separate visit, I came with a group of 10, and everyone loved their meals. The price was extremely accessible, ranging from $8-$15 per person, which is a great deal for the quality you get. The pancake was amazing, and honestly, anything on the menu is a great choice. Our waitress was very sweet and patient with our large group, ensuring we all had a great time. Visiting from out of town, I chose The Farmhouse based on recommendations from other TTU parents, and I'm so glad I did. The food and service, especially from Cheyenne, were excellent. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Lubbock.

On another visit, Jada, our waitress, went above and beyond, ensuring our meal was free from gluten cross-contamination for my husband, who isn’t highly sensitive, but it was comforting to know they care. Breakfast on a Wednesday at Stacked Breakfast and Lunch turned out to be the best decision! My sister and I got there around 8:30 a.m. and found a nice spot in the middle of the restaurant. Chloe, our server, was delightful and started our morning on a high note. We kicked things off with two hot coffees, which were so good that we started chatting with Chloe about them. She mentioned they get their coffee from Daybreak Coffee Roasters. For food, we ordered the loaded avocado toast. It was okay; the alfalfa sprouts were a nice touch, but it didn't quite live up to what I've had at other places. However, the granola parfait was absolutely delicious, and the side of wheat toast paired perfectly with grape jelly. We also grabbed a hazelnut toffee cold brew with extra caramel drizzle to go, and it was heavenly! Our meal was rounded off with an order of the eggs Benedict with brisket, which was fantastic, especially with a dash of Cholula. The build-your-own omelet was another hit, packed with ham, brisket, onions, and spinach. Oh, and the French toast and chocolate chip pancakes were amazing too; I particularly liked the cinnamon on the French toast! The only hitch was our waitress's attention. She seemed busy, and whenever she asked if we needed anything, she’d walk away before we could reply. It felt like she was in a rush and didn't really look us in the eye. Despite that minor hiccup, I've visited several times and always had great food. They have a new feature to track your place on the waitlist, which is super convenient since they are often busy. While my hash browns weren’t hot this time, the overall experience was still fantastic. The menu offers good variety, portions, and prices. I'm looking forward to another good meal there soon.
