I've been coming to Donut Supreme for breakfast in Mesquite since I was in elementary school, and it's hands down the best place for donuts. The donuts are simply delicious and they melt in your mouth. The mini apple fritters, 3 for $2, are a real treat and always hit the spot. I've tried most of the donuts in about a 5-mile radius, and this is my go-to place every time. The lady who works there is super sweet and nice, making the experience even better. Great donuts and even better customer service keep me coming back!

We visited Seven Mile Cafe for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The cozy and inviting atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. It’s conveniently located across from Town East shopping mall, making it a great stop for shoppers. The service was exceptional. Our server, Justin, was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. He knew the menu well and offered great suggestions. Hilda, though still in training, was attentive, and Hope did a wonderful job as her trainer. The food was delicious with generous portions, perfect for sharing. There are plenty of American and vegan options to choose from. The bar added a nice touch to the overall experience. I especially loved the pancakes and would recommend them to anyone visiting. Our server Violet was polite and helpful, contributing to a great overall experience. The restaurant offers a modern and welcoming atmosphere, making it a wonderful spot for a leisurely meal. We'll definitely be back to enjoy more of their tasty options.

I genuinely enjoy Tortilleria la Union for breakfast in Mesquite. From the moment I walked in, the service was great, and there was a good vibe at the counter. I ordered the taco plate special with three fajita tacos, beans, rice, and a soda. It's nice to find a place that includes beans and rice—they complement each other well! The variety of salsas is my favorite part, and I love how they're pre-packed in tiny bags. I also picked up some chips and beans to go. It's just a six-minute drive from where I live, so I plan to eat here more often. Although I wish the place was a bit bigger, there are enough chairs and tables. It's impressive how quickly this place has grown since opening day. The owner is humble and still very involved. The food at La Union is truly the best! The corn tortillas are hot, fresh, and delicious. It's authentic Mexican food at its finest, and you won't be disappointed. Thank you, La Union, for maintaining the authenticity of our culture. The food quality is outstanding! Although the customer service can be inconsistent, with sometimes welcoming and other times less so, I overlook this because the food is exceptional. Give it a try!

I absolutely loved my experience at Pepper's Cafe for breakfast in Mesquite. I never got around to writing a review after I ate there, but the memory of how good the food was has stayed with me. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. I highly recommend trying it out - you won't be disappointed! My mom was spot on about this place; it's truly amazing! The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and it feels like a new favorite spot for my family. It's a cozy little place, and I wish I had more time to try different dishes that looked delicious. When I visited, I had the "Little Maria," which was perfect because I needed just the right amount of food. The pancakes were thick and fluffy, just the right size, and the coffee was strong in just the right way. The atmosphere was nice, although their plant could use some extra care, which made me chuckle. The menudo has consistently been amazing for the past three years – perfect flavor, great temperature, and excellent consistency without any unpleasant smell or greasiness. Trust me, finding menudo that isn't stinky or greasy is a real challenge. I even drive 48 minutes from Lewisville/The Colony just to enjoy their menudo. I always eat one there and take one to go for the next day. Big kudos to the chef! The staff and service are always great and quick, adding to the enjoyable experience.

Tucker's Grill & Taqueria is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Mesquite. The food and customer service are consistently amazing. The guy at the register even helped our friend on crutches by carrying his drink and walking him to the table. It feels like visiting family whenever we're there, and the food is always delicious! My kids adore the wings and pizza, while my partner and I can't get enough of the fish and tacos. We’ve tried so many dishes, and each one has been a hit. The tacos are a standout, and my husband was really impressed with their burger. What sets this place apart is the availability of halal food at reasonable prices. The owner is exceptionally welcoming, often taking orders, cleaning tables, and serving food himself. The restaurant might not be fancy or large, but I highly recommend visiting if you're craving Mexican cuisine. The beef and chicken tacos, served with rice and beans, are excellent. Even if you're not a fan of refried beans, like my husband, you'll find them tasty here. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it’s the best we've had in Texas! The place is clean, including the bathrooms, and there’s plenty of parking available. While their catfish, which is actually Swai, wasn't to my taste due to its texture, I generally enjoy all the other dishes I've tried, like the flavorful green beans. This place truly is a diamond in the rough, and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

Mesquite Diner is a great little hole in the wall place for breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal. I love their food, and they always keep the cups filled up. The menu has a wide variety of options to satisfy any craving, and the food is consistently delicious. One of the special things about this diner is its location right in front of a senior living home, which adds a heartwarming community vibe. I was in Mesquite off I-30 for my brother-in-law’s doctor appointment and found this diner through a quick Google search. It felt like a hidden gem. The staff greeted me at the front counter, and the waitress told me to "sit anywhere." The place has about 14 tables in total. I ordered the Special Omelet with hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and a side of avocado. Everything was well-prepared, the avocado was fresh, and it seemed like the biscuits were grilled a bit. I also had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage, and it was delicious! The portions were great, especially for the low price. We received excellent service from our host, Melly, who even gave us some recommendations for places to check out in Plano since we were visiting from out of state. Thanks, Melly! Great job, and I look forward to making more visits. Highly recommend giving them a try – you’ll love it!

Country Diner Cafe

First of all, Country Diner Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast, despite being quite busy with limited waiting space. A little outdoor patio would definitely be a nice addition for those waiting. It was about a 20-minute wait on a Sunday morning. Our table was a bit narrow and flimsy, and though our friendly waitress was great, we didn't see her much, probably because they seemed understaffed. The food, however, made up for these minor inconveniences. My migas were crunchy and delicious, although the potatoes were a tad salty. The country fried steak was exceptional; I hadn't had one in a long time, and theirs really hit the spot. I also tried the chicken and waffle special, which included four small tenders and a waffle—it was definitely worth it to me. I had taken my parents here because they’d heard good things, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for all of us. The atmosphere is great, customer service is excellent, and the food truly is delicious. Despite a few small hiccups, the overall experience was so positive that I definitely plan on coming back. The pricing is very reasonable too. Country Diner Cafe is a great place for breakfast or dinner, and I highly recommend it.

Great place! The staff at Scooter's Coffee in Mesquite is always cheerful, pleasant, and happy. They go out of their way to make things convenient, like when I stop in for a pup cup on my motorcycle. My wife loves their medium roast, and the coffee tastes great every time. The atmosphere inside is fantastic with that amazing coffee smell. Zury is one of the sweetest employees there and always remembers us. She's efficient and makes sure our order is spot on every visit. I’ve definitely made this my regular spot. On my first visit, Xander was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth. I tried the extra-large Iced Caramelicious, bacon burrito, and some mini donuts with caramel dips. The coffee was excellent, the donuts disappeared fast because they were so good. Xander was upfront about the burrito being partially frozen due to a recent closure, but I appreciated the honesty. Even though the bacon burrito was smaller and a bit salty, the overall experience was great. I'll be returning for the coffee and those tasty mini donuts — and hopefully, Xander will be there again.

I love The Bull's Pen Cafe for breakfast in Mesquite! It's such an amazing place to eat at a great price. The portions are large and the food is delicious. I've tried various dishes on my visits, and they never disappoint. My go-to is the chicken fried chicken. The only downside is they close early, but that's a minor issue. They're usually busy during weekday lunch hours and all day Saturday, but the wait to be seated is short. The staff is super friendly and attentive. While the food isn't authentic Mexican, their Tex-Mex options are tasty. The service is excellent, with servers checking in often and keeping our coffee fresh. My only small complaint is that I've had better chicken fried steak elsewhere, but it's a matter of personal taste. The place is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I've been for both breakfast and lunch, and the food is consistently good. Definitely try the club sandwich and the chicken fried steak. It's a great spot, and I'll definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Mesquite is a true gem for anyone who loves comfort food and a welcoming atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, the charming country decor and cozy vibe make you feel at home. The breakfast menu is extensive, with Southern classics that are delicious and satisfying. The pancakes and hashbrown casserole are absolute must-tries, and you can enjoy breakfast all day, which is a big plus. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. We had Remy train and Iona as our servers, and they were courteous, friendly, and quick. The coffee is superb, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. While the pancakes were a bit dry and the scrambled eggs were on the runny side, these small hiccups didn’t take away from the overall experience. The bustling atmosphere on a Sunday added to the charm, even though it was a bit loud. The attached old-fashioned store is a delight, offering unique gifts and nostalgic items for a pleasant post-meal browse. It's impossible not to be charmed by the early Christmas displays with lovely trees and ornaments. The restaurant's large parking space and quick seating despite being busy were appreciated. While the prices might be on the higher side, the generous portions and quality of the food make it worth it. The homestyle chicken wasn’t as crispy as I remembered, but everything else was satisfying. The sugar plum tea, mixed with unsweetened tea as recommended by our server, was spot on. Even when busy, Cracker Barrel remains a place where you can relax and enjoy a hearty meal with a side of Southern hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone craving a comforting, down-home dining experience!

Mi Pueblito Taqueria in Mesquite has quickly become one of my favorite spots for breakfast. The restaurant is super clean, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. I ordered the sopes, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff here is not only nice but also incredibly fast at their job. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch. On one visit, they offered me a sample of their menudo, and I can’t wait to go back for a full serving. My wife and I went there for the first time, and we both loved it. The waitress was professional, attentive, and fluently bilingual, which made the experience even better. We've visited several times now and have even picked up food to go, including tamales. The food is consistently good. I’ve tried the hamburger and fries, and my wife enjoyed the guisado de puerco, both of which were excellent. The authentic Mexican dishes like the chile relleno with beans and rice and the enchiladas michoacanas are simply delicious. All in all, it's a great place with fantastic food and service.

Today was my second visit to Black Bear Diner in Mesquite for breakfast. The first time, everything was pretty good, with a clean environment and great service. The building itself is quite cute, and I love the decorations and decor. This time, although the service was a bit lacking at first, Montzé, our waitress, was so nice and helpful. She handled my issue with the Cinnamon French Toast very well and made sure I wasn’t charged for it. Her kindness really stood out and made the experience better. Though the food was just okay and there were some issues with the timing, the overall atmosphere was chilled and relaxed, which I enjoyed. It's a family-oriented place, and I appreciate that vibe. My other visits have shown potential, and I'm optimistic about giving them another try. Despite the hiccups, the portions are good, and I’ll be back for the ambiance and to see if improvements have been made.

I've been a loyal customer of Dana's Donuts for about two years now, and every visit is a delight. The warm welcomes and friendly smiles I receive make each trip special. Mama, the master behind the menu, often introduces new foods, and it's clear she pours her heart into her work. The donuts are always fresh and delicious, and it's a treat to see what's new whenever I stop by. This morning, I decided to visit again, and it was just as enjoyable as previous times. The woman working in the store greeted me with genuine warmth and respect, making the experience even better. The cleanliness of the place stood out to me, as they meticulously follow cleaning guidelines, which is always reassuring. If you’re an early bird, Dana's Donuts is a perfect spot for breakfast. They have cute tables and fresh coffee, ideal for those who prefer to sit and savor their morning treats. The parking is convenient, and the prices are really reasonable, making it an easy choice for me whenever I'm in the area. The store's atmosphere is relaxed, never rushing guests out the door, and you can truly tell the food is made with care. While my recent visit was lovely, I did have one experience where a staff member stepped outside to ask my son not to touch the windows, which was unexpected. Despite this, I continue to enjoy bringing my family for donuts and plan to return often. Overall, Dana's Donuts offers great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a wonderful start to the morning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and friendly breakfast spot!

If you're ever in the Mesquite area and craving a good breakfast or lunch, Panera Bread is a great choice. I've only been a few times, so I wasn't exactly sure about the self-cleaning etiquette, but it seems like they handle that for you if you forget. I tried the cheesesteak sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. It was hot, nicely toasted, and just melted in my mouth. The mac & cheese, especially with the applewood smoked bacon, was a standout—creamy and delicious. My late lunch there was thoroughly enjoyable, and this will definitely be my go-to spot in Mesquite. The restaurant is always clean, both inside and out, and the staff is friendly. While the drive-thru is convenient, I've noticed the dine-in experience is better, especially in how they serve the food. If you're considering what to order, the "You Pick Two" combos are a smart choice. We tried the toasted steak and white cheddar alongside the chipotle chicken avocado melt—both were excellent picks. I paired my meal with a Greek salad, and my partner went for the Fuji apple salad with chicken. I found myself wishing I'd ordered a full sandwich! Although there was a slight hiccup with the cashier's attitude on one visit, the delicious food and nice atmosphere more than made up for it. The papaya lemonade and agave green tea are refreshing choices to wash down your meal. Overall, Panera Bread in Mesquite is a reliable spot for tasty, quality meals, and I'll definitely be returning, especially with those tempting bagels on the menu.
