The food at M & M's Coffee Shop and Grub Food Truck in Midland, TX is amazing and absolutely worth a visit. They offer a great variety for everyone to enjoy. The customer service stands out as the best I've experienced in Midland; she was extremely nice and helpful with ordering. The food was quick to arrive and very fresh. In my opinion, it's definitely the best food truck in Midland. The prices are reasonable, and the food is great. You must try the brisket potato and the brisket mac and cheese sandwich. The brisket mac & cheese sandwich was amazing and very fulfilling, with cheesy, tender brisket cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend it, and it's worth any wait time. The chicken & waffles I'm having right now is one of the best I've had in a long time. Their Mexican coffee is amazing too! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Tall City Bistro is truly a gem in Midland, Texas! Every meal I've had here has been fantastic, making the little challenge of finding it completely worth it. The quaint atmosphere combined with great food and outstanding service makes it a top breakfast spot. Their salsas are incredible, and the tacos and breakfast dishes never disappoint. Prices are reasonable, and the friendly staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. One of the standout experiences is interacting with the owner, Manny. He always remembers his guests and treats everyone like family, which adds a personal touch to each visit. As someone adjusting from Detroit, the variety at Tall City Bistro is refreshing, offering more than just typical Mexican dishes. My daughter loved her Texas waffle so much, she couldn't wait for me to take a picture before diving in! The French toast is easily the best in the city. Despite its location in an alleyway between two buildings, once you find it, you'll keep coming back. This place is an absolute must-visit when you're in Midland.

Don Tomás Café in Midland is a delightful spot for breakfast that always leaves me satisfied. Every time I walk in, the inviting aroma of spices makes me feel at home. The tacos and burritos are consistently good, with tortillas that are perfectly made, and fillings that are generous and flavorful. One of my go-to orders is the egg and bacon burrito with extra bacon and beans, and they’ve nailed it every time since my first visit. The bacon chunks are well-cooked and plentiful, adding a delicious touch. The burrito's thickness and taste are impressive, making it a great value for the price. I also appreciate that they listened to feedback from my previous visit, showing they care about their customers. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and despite the busy weekends, the service is quick and efficient. I've occasionally had minor issues, like getting cheese when I asked not to, but the team is always pleasant and ready to help. When I pick up breakfast for my colleagues, I can count on them for accuracy and timeliness, even with large orders. Don Tomás Café has become a favorite for everyone at work, thanks to its amazing food and welcoming vibe. When I walked into Red Plate Diner for breakfast, I felt instant warmth as the staff greeted me with genuine smiles. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, making it a wonderful place to start the day. The service was impeccable, and the decor was charming without being overdone. With reasonable prices, it felt like a little slice of food heaven right in the heart of west Texas. The menu was straightforward but offered plenty of variety. The scrambled eggs were perfect—fluffy and not overcooked, just like I make them at home. The avocado toast was delicious, and the bacon was crispy, exactly how I like it. The biscuits and gravy were popular among patrons, and it's easy to see why; everything was cooked just right. While I enjoyed the ice cream, I found the portion a bit small for the price, but it was tasty. The service was exceptional, with the servers being super attentive and friendly. Even the manager stopped by to ensure everything was to my liking. This diner is family-friendly, and you get the feeling that you can come in and shake the owner's hand. I highly recommend it, giving it a 10/10, and I'm already looking forward to returning to explore some of their lunch options. Excellent food and service at Main Street Diner! The parking lot has been redone, making it easier to access, and the interior improvements like new floors and ceiling tiles really stand out. It's the perfect little place to enjoy a meal. I went for breakfast, and it was delicious—I can't believe I didn't know about this gem in Midland sooner. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly and told to sit wherever I wanted, which gave the place a welcoming, small-town feel. It was nice to see regulars chatting with the staff, who seemed to know them well enough to bring their usual drinks without being asked. The service was attentive; my coffee cup was never empty, often filled by staff other than my waitress. Even though it was pretty busy around 6:30 am, the food arrived hot and quick. I loved the lively atmosphere with people talking and laughing, the sound of silverware hitting plates, and spoons stirring coffee cups. It filled me up and was right on point. It's definitely on my list for future visits to Midland. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food, and it's conveniently located near the hotels I usually stay at. The staff was friendly and professional, offering consistent customer service and ensuring the food tastes great every time. Whether you're in a hurry dining solo or having a relaxed breakfast meeting with colleagues, they accommodate and adjust their service accordingly. The place was clean, and while parking can be a bit tricky, it's worth the wait. They even seated us before our whole party arrived, which was a nice touch. Our server was wonderful, displaying patience and friendliness. We tried a variety of dishes like waffles, sunny-side-up eggs, grits, BLT sandwiches, and breakfast tacos, and everything was delicious. The coffee was just okay, but overall, the experience was great. I recommend using the online waitlist to save time during busy hours, especially on a Saturday morning. I've had breakfast at Back In The Day Cafe in Midland several times while traveling for work, and it's a solid spot. Rita, the waitress, is always extremely friendly and accommodating, modifying our plates exactly how we wanted. The atmosphere is fun and the place is clean, with good food at fair prices. The sweet cream pancakes are a standout and definitely worth trying. One downside is there's only one waitress in the morning, which means service can be a bit slow, especially since the place gets crowded on weekends. The food did take about 40 minutes, but the quality made up for the wait. It’s a popular spot, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, so getting a seat can be tough, but it's a good place overall. I would advise skipping the weekend visit if you're in a hurry. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars.

Natalia's Cafe for breakfast in Midland was a delightful experience for me. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and friendliness, setting a positive tone for my visit. The food was outstanding, especially the asado, which brought back nostalgic memories of authentic flavors. It was evident that this was not your typical Tex-Mex; instead, it offered real Mexican dishes that were both flavorful and satisfying. Despite the construction nearby, it was worth navigating through it. Even with our large 41ft 5th wheel, parking was a breeze in the dirt lot. The service was prompt and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus. I particularly enjoyed the Chili Verde and chorizo eggs, which were packed with authentic flavors. The cafe may look unassuming from the outside, but it truly is a hidden gem. What an absolutely wonderful experience! My friends and I, hailing from different towns, decided to meet up at Cafe at the Gardens since Midland is conveniently located between us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extremely friendly and personable staff. The scenery was gorgeous, making it feel like we were dining in the tropics rather than Midland. Surprisingly, the wait time wasn't long, and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. The food was simply delicious. Even though it's about a two-hour drive for me, I will definitely be going back. During a work lunch, our big party received quick service, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The fish tacos were a standout! While visiting on a Friday for lunch, I tried the cranberry salad based on other reviews, and it did not disappoint. The only downside was that the bathroom needed some attention, but that didn't overshadow the cool atmosphere. Although the service I received on one occasion didn't quite match the beautiful setting, I appreciated the effort of the host, who was very nice. Despite a less attentive server, I would gladly return to give it another try, hoping for a better experience. Thank you for a beautiful and memorable dining experience!

I visited Rustic Café for breakfast and it was such a refreshing break from the usual fast food joints. The place has a real sit-down truckstop vibe, which I absolutely loved. The waitresses were friendly, and my food came out quickly and piping hot. Everything was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked vegetables and tasty chicken. Yes, it was a bit on the pricey side, but the overall experience was worth it. I tried the rustic breakfast with 2 eggs over medium, seasoned potatoes, sausage, and biscuit with gravy – it was spot on. The service here was excellent, and I can't wait to come back for supper. I also love their burgers and shakes – you just can't go wrong with them. However, there was one hiccup when I was denied a shake because it was supposedly a hassle to make. That was disappointing, especially when the manager didn’t handle it well. Despite this setback, I reached out to corporate, and they were incredibly nice and made up for the incident. That gesture showed how much they value their customers. I’ve visited their locations in Haskell, Alamogordo, and Midland, and the burgers have always been really, really good. I’m looking forward to sharing more positive experiences in my next review. Have a great day!

The prices were reasonable, and the service, once it started, was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.
