Great food. Had the Cuban sandwich with horchata for the drink. Oj's Cafe is a good little cafe to grab a good-sized and fresh panini. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food tasted. Enjoyed a bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread, and there's another option with sourdough that looks equally tempting. The service was good, and it didn't take long to be served. They have a variety of drinks as well; this day, I settled for a good old-fashioned americano. There was plenty of coffee fixings as well! I will definitely be back to try the bubble waffle with ice cream. It's crazy that this place has under 50 reviews. A hidden gem for sure! Everything from the food to the menu to the price was amazing. Always lovely to have a satisfying breakfast. The BLT with egg and Pesto chicken paninis were the highlights. Mini pancakes were also great! Will visit again if I’m in the area. Stumbled across this place while getting a smog check. Went in to get a drink, but it smelled so good I had to go back and try their sandwiches. Ordered for lunch, and it was so delicious and perfectly made. I tried the egg and jalapeño and the chicken pesto. My sister tried the Cuban, and mom tried the carne asada one. They were all very delicious and full of flavor. The food is great, and the customer service is great too! It's definitely worth a try if you are looking for great food and great service with reasonable prices.

Stopped by Be Happy Café & Juice Bar for brunch while on our trip from Palm Springs to San Diego, and what a fantastic find it was! Opted for the island bowl acai with fruit and oats, and although the portion seemed unique with its tiny scoop of acai, it was surprisingly filling and not to mention, delicious. The location of the café was perfect for us, right en route and easy to find. What stood out immediately was the great service we received. The staff was not only friendly but also very accommodating to our dietary needs, taking the time to answer all our queries without hesitation. I was particularly impressed by the quality of their juices. It's so refreshing to find a place that commits to fresh ingredients without any hidden additives. And the deli options didn't disappoint either; everything we tried was top-notch. On top of the great food and drinks, they also offer a full cleansing plan for those interested in giving their gut health a little boost. It's clear that Be Happy Café & Juice Bar is dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle, making it an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for tasty yet wholesome food options. If you're in the market for a cozy, medium-sized restaurant for brunch in Moreno Valley, Country Kitchen should definitely be on your list. The hostesses are welcoming, ensuring a pleasant start to the dining experience. However, it's worth noting that they don't serve mimosas. Initially, we were seated at a table that was a bit off vibe-wise, but the accommodating hostess quickly moved us, which we really appreciated. The food here is nothing short of delicious, easily exceeding expectations with its homely feel and taste. It's like being wrapped in a warm, culinary hug that brings back memories of family meals. The ambiance complements the food perfectly, creating a cozy dining experience that makes you feel right at home. Our server, Ashley, was a real gem - friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She was great at recommending dishes, ensuring we tried some of the best they had to offer. I went for the Crispy Bourbon Chicken Sandwich, and let me tell you, that bourbon sauce was spot-on! My wife opted for the Country-Fried Steak, which was so generously portioned she saved half for the next day's lunch. And you can't go wrong starting with the Fried Cheese Curds, easily the best appetizer we had. There's definitely more on the menu that's calling our names, so we're already planning our next visit. This place comes highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or a cozy brunch experience. We also tried the breakfast biscuits & gravy and breakfast waffles, which were super delicious. Our waitress, Ariana, was very attentive, making our first visit here exceptionally satisfying. Looking forward to many more visits to Country Kitchen!

Over the past month and a half, I've been to France House Of Crepes in Moreno Valley three times, and it's quickly become my go-to spot for brunch. The portions are generous, offering great value for the price, and the variety of both sweet and savory crepes, along with sandwiches, is impressive. The French Onion soup tastes like it's made in-house and is perfect for a chilly day. One of my favorites, the hot chicken salad sandwich, is served on ciabatta bread and is substantial enough to provide me with a meal or two. Their smoothies and cappuccinos are equally delicious and never fail to hit the spot. What makes the dining experience so pleasant is the accommodating and friendly service. It feels like the restaurant is family-owned, adding to the charm and making it all the more special to support a local business in Moreno Valley. It truly is a hidden gem! The choice of crepes is fantastic, catering to all preferences. Having tried both a sweet and a savory crepe during my initial visit, I was hooked. Despite its modest size, the restaurant delivers on quality and the staff is attentive. During my visits, the servers were excellent at offering recommendations and were very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant is both chill and slightly romantic, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. On one of the visits, opting to sit on the patio provided a quieter and pleasant environment, perfectly complementing the delicious cappuccinos, mochas, and, of course, the crepes. The use of Chantilly Cream on the Mr. Peanut crepe was a delightful recommendation that I would eagerly endorse to anyone. For a brunch for two, spending around $40 plus a tip felt like excellent value, especially for something that stands out in Moreno Valley. This establishment has become a staple for me, and I'm excited to bring more friends and family to experience it.

Walking into Lucky Greek for brunch in Moreno Valley might not be about a high-end dining experience, but let me tell you, it’s all about the flavors and the deals here. The Chicken Fried Steak breakfast special, complete with 2 eggs, a choice between home fries or hash brown potatoes, and sourdough toast, is simply amazing. And all of this is priced under $10.00, which is incredible value for money. Sure, the place has its quirks – the seating area shows signs of wear and the decor might not win any design awards. But to me, that’s part of its charm. It’s a diner that focuses on what matters: serving tasty meals at great prices. The staff have always been cordial during my visits, adding a warm touch to the overall experience. I've been a patron of this establishment for over two decades, and even on busy weekends, I find the service to be quite efficient. Sure, it’s not the kind of place where you’d worry too much about the ambiance. Honestly, give me a box to sit on, and I’d still enjoy their cooking without any complaint. This diner excels in offering great diner food in a simple, homey atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can expect old fashioned diner service, complete with plenty of free coffee refills - a gesture I always appreciate. However, it's important to note that not every experience can be perfect. On one occasion, an unwelcome visitor appeared on our table which was quite off-putting. The situation could have been handled better by the staff in terms of customer service and making amends for the incident. Despite this hiccup, the essence of what makes Lucky Greek a go-to spot for many remains its straightforward, delicious offerings at unbeatable prices. It’s a reminder of what diners are all about: good food, good prices, and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s definitely a place that has retained its charm and value over the years, making it a worthy stop for anyone looking for a hearty meal without breaking the bank.

Tasty Filipino food in a straightforward setting. The portion sizes are just right, making each meal satisfying. The bangus (fried milk fish) is a standout, perfectly cooked and flavorful. They also serve Halo-Halo and other delightful Filipino desserts that are too good to pass up. Definitely planning a return visit! It's worth noting the restaurant only opens for breakfast and lunch, which likely explains why it's always bustling. The food is the main attraction here, and it's clear from the crowds. However, there's room for improvement in how they manage and take orders. At one point, someone took my order and then got sidetracked with numerous other tasks, leading to a mix-up where I received someone else's order. Despite the hiccup, I had to get their lumpias to-go — a dozen of these freshly made, crunchy, savory rolls come at a steal for $5.99. They're absolutely delicious and a must-try. This place has become my top choice for Filipino cuisine. When in Moreno Valley and craving Filipino dishes, this is the spot to dine at.

I love Black Bear Diner and have been a patron for years. This was my first time visiting the Moreno Valley location, and I must say, I'm already planning my next visit. The Chicken and Waffles plate I ordered was exactly what I hoped for – the waffle was delightful. Although the chicken strips were a bit dry and peppery for my taste, the overall meal felt worth it for the price, offering good value for money. Upon arrival, the waitress that greeted me was friendly, though I did notice some inattentiveness during my meal. It appeared that some of the other staff members were not as engaged in their work, but this did not majorly detract from my experience. The ambiance of the diner was quiet and pleasant, providing a nice backdrop for our meal. What really caught my attention was the diner's unique theme centered around nature and bears, along with their creative newspaper-style menu. There's an extensive variety of options to choose from, which I found appealing. During this visit, I also came for breakfast with my mom. She tried the Benedict while I opted for the blackberry stuffed French toast. Despite the beautiful presentation, the food did not entirely meet our expectations. My French toast was unexpectedly hard, and the flavors in some of the dishes didn't hit the mark for us. However, I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and I understand that any kitchen can have an off day. One of the highlights of our visit was our waitress, Jaimie, who provided exceptional service. The portion sizes were generous, particularly the chicken fried steak, of which I ended up taking half home. The dessert was also a standout, rounding off our meal nicely. Despite some hiccups, my overall experience at Black Bear Diner in Moreno Valley remains positive. The diner's concept, coupled with the prospect of great service and hearty meals, is enough to bring me back. I'm looking forward to giving it another try next year, hopeful for an even better experience.

Stumbled upon this cool little Mexican spot in Moreno Valley, and it turned out to be a hidden gem. The service was decent, although there were a couple of minor hiccups with our order - but that's something that could happen anywhere. Gave their Asada a try, which was quite good, and their breakfast burrito, a Divinos homemade special, did not disappoint. However, I'd suggest opting for the Asada plate over the Cecina plate. The nopales weren't to my girlfriend's taste as they were a bit sour, but that's a matter of preference. Having tried both, the pork tamal far outshines the chicken one, though they tend to run out of pork fairly early. The rice and beans were a hit on our table, though the rice was slightly on the salty side for my taste. The homemade tortillas scored decently, but the Horchata felt a bit too packet-like for a restaurant setting. On the upside, the food is freshly prepared and downright delicious. What really made the visit memorable was the authentic Mexican breakfast dishes. The chilaquiles in red sauce and menudo were highlights, oozing with flavors. The staff made us feel welcomed right from the start, adding to the charm of this quaint place. Plus, it was a pleasant surprise to find out they offer fresh squeezed orange juice upon request. The size of the breakfast burrito was just right - filling without overdoing it. Observing the staff, it felt as if we had been invited into a cozy home kitchen, adding a touch of warmth to the whole experience. This spot may be a bit out of the way and not in the flashiest of locations, but it's definitely worth the visit for anyone craving genuine Mexican cuisine. Moreover, their bakery section didn't disappoint either. Got greeted warmly upon entering and found their conchas to be exceptionally soft, with just the right hint of cinnamon. Tried the empanadas as well, and they were top-notch. Looking forward to exploring more from their restaurant menu on my next visit. For anyone looking for authentic flavors and a warm atmosphere, this place is a must-try.

This is my go-to spot for brunch in Moreno Valley. The variety of food options here is impressive, all at prices that won't break the bank. The diner staff is always welcoming, contributing to the overall clean and cozy atmosphere. One of my personal favorites is the Chicken Fajita Omelette – it's incredibly tasty and the portions are generous. I've made it a point to include this diner in my regular breakfast spots. Just the other day, I brought my cousins and Dad here for lunch, and everyone was more than satisfied with their meals. It's worth mentioning that the food portions are so generous, we were all full for hours afterwards. For a table of five adults, our total came to $127, which felt quite reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food we enjoyed. The French toast, pastrami, and waffles were standout dishes for me, easily the best I've ever had, and everything tasted remarkably fresh. I'd recommend this diner to anyone passing through Moreno Valley looking for a quiet, clean place to eat. One thing to note, however, is that the chicken burrito didn't quite hit the mark for me as it was on the drier side. Apart from that, my experiences here have been overwhelmingly positive.

The menu offers a variety of choices ranging from hamburgers, an assortment of salads and sandwiches, soup, and tempting appetizers like mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, and chicken wings. The grilled sourdough burger comes highly recommended – it's excellent! Besides, the affordability of the food and the perfect portion sizes add to the overall appeal of this dining spot. The breakfast and dessert menus are also worth exploring, ensuring there's something for everyone's taste. Accessibility is another plus point with the restaurant being easily reachable from the main road, offering free parking and ensuring it's handicap accessible. A personal highlight was the mommy and daughter date, which turned into a delightful dinner experience. From the Jr. Pasta with Red Sauce to the Pasta Primavera, and the deliciously cheesy mozzarella sticks, every dish was a hit. The service, particularly from our server Francie, was outstanding. The addition of a “brown bag lunch” special makes it even more appealing for parents, offering a hassle-free option for the next day’s school lunch. Leaving Polly's with full bellies and smiles, the warmth and friendliness of the staff, especially towards my little one, were memorable. Oh my God, the dragon sushi roll at Kalaveras was the most creative and delicious thing I've ever had in my life! You will not be disappointed; you'll be astonished and completely satisfied after trying this amazing dish. I also ordered a fish taco on the side and it was pretty good. My aunt got the green chicken enchiladas which were also pretty good. The environment was really nice, super cool music was loud and enjoyable. There was some type of event going on at the outside patio and it was totally lively! The waiter was super respectful and very professional, making the entire experience just great! I definitely plan to come back with my kids so they can try out some good food; everything on the menu looked and sounded delicious, so I can’t wait to return! Loved the plenty of outside seating and appreciate some good quality food. This was my first visit and I absolutely loved it. Came to celebrate a special occasion after being recommended by a family member. The interior is fun and decorated nicely, with music that sets a good vibe. Our server was awesome! Found out it was our first time and had really great energy and good recommendations. Made it fun for us. The drinks are AMAZING. I need to go back with a designated driver so we can try their margarita flight. Definitely, the margaritas and queso fundido are a must-try. If you like spicy, try the aguachiles. Can't wait to come back. The music was a bit too loud for a lunchtime setting, though. The service was very good, the food was adequate, and the restrooms were clean. The seating area and kitchen were clean as well. I've had better food at smaller Mexican restaurants. It feels like they are trying to put too much of a new flare on Mexican food, but sometimes it's better to improve on what already exists rather than reinventing it. The only real downside was the loud music; if that were adjusted, the great service and adequate food would definitely bring me back. We went for brunch and they offered bottomless mimosas. The food was good and constantly kept fresh and restocked by the staff. The restroom was clean and the staff was friendly. We arrived at about 11:50 am and it was a full house. The wait is worthwhile.

Went for brunch at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Moreno Valley later in the evening when it wasn't too busy. Noticed that our table hadn't been cleaned from previous diners, but the staff was prompt in getting it sanitized once we pointed it out. The service throughout was impressive; our waitress was efficient, kept us well-informed about our orders, including a heads-up on dishes that were taking slightly longer, and regularly checked in on us for drink refills or additional needs. The visit was to celebrate my son-in-law's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of great for the entire family. No complaints at all. Another visit was for my husband's birthday, and similarly, we were quickly seated, and the server was immediately attentive. He was helpful with the menu and made sure our dining experience was smooth. I opted for the Brewhouse chicken, which was loaded with flavor, and my husband was pleased with his parmesan-crusted chicken. Generally, the food at BJ's has never disappointed, but it's worth mentioning that their wings, which are precooked, needed a double-check this time for complete cooking. We encountered a couple of undercooked ones, but the issue was swiftly addressed by our waiter and the manager, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite the slight hiccup, the effort by both the floor and kitchen staff is commendable. It's clear that this location is striving to maintain high standards even when the industry faces challenges, ensuring that each visit is a pleasant one.

During my visit to Mimi's Cafe for brunch in Moreno Valley, the overall experience turned out to be delightful and positively memorable, despite an initial slow service due to the staff being short-handed on a Monday night. The wait and service might have been affected, but the food preparation was fresh and relatively quick, which made up for the initial delay. The chopped Cobb salad tossed with Ranch caught my attention for its freshness and taste. My dining experience included a variety of dishes such as the French Pot Roast, Carved Turkey Dinner, Asian Salad, and Artichoke Dip, all of which came out hot after about a 25-minute wait and were thoroughly enjoyable. Our server was friendly albeit visibly overworked, yet the quality of the food didn’t suffer. The blueberry muffins stood out as particularly delectable. This visit allowed me the opportunity to try one of their new Fall season drinks, a Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte, which was uniquely delightful compared to other versions I've tasted. The Mediterranean Eggs Benedict was another highlight, featuring a delectable combination of hollandaise and pesto sauce that I would heartily recommend. Despite visiting on a busy Saturday morning, the wait time was reasonable, and the staff maintained their politeness and efficiency. The drinks were impressive, and the Eggs Benedict, alongside their corn beef hash, was top-notch – emphasizing that they prepare their own corn beef daily, a step above the canned variety often found elsewhere. The crab cakes were fresh and delicious, though a slight adjustment in cooking to achieve a lightly crispy exterior would make them even better. Portion sizes were generous, the service was amiable, and the seating comfortable. The spicy Bloody Mary I tried was the perfect remedy for a hangover, rounding off a satisfying brunch. This first visit to Mimi's Cafe in Moreno Valley was a revelation, from the quality of the food to the attentive service, despite the initial hurdles. It has quickly become a favorite spot for brunch, and I'm eager to return.

On my last brunch visit, I opted for the chicken omelet and home fries, and let me tell you, it was out of this world. The gravy that came with it was just perfect. It's become my go-to spot for breakfast. Nestled in a Moreno Valley strip mall and conveniently located just off the 60 freeway at the Heacock exit, it's a short drive from Moreno Valley Mall, making it an ideal location. Our Place Restaurant offers a great variety of choices for everyone, truly a hidden gem in the area. From the friendly service to the quick cooking and laid-back atmosphere, it feels like a home away from home. The food tastes like it was made with a lot of love. It's also incredibly close to my job, which makes it a fantastic place to enjoy lunch. On another visit, I had the steak and eggs breakfast with house potatoes and hot coffee. It was a lovely meal that started the day off right. Initially, I was a bit skeptical because the place has an older look, but it quickly won me over. Our waiter, Caesar, was welcoming, patient, professional, and impressively managed to serve us alongside about 15 other guests with ease. He was constantly checking on everyone, even running to answer the phone for orders. His dedication was truly commendable. The menu itself is quite extensive, offering a range of options from regular American/Mexican breakfasts, lunches, and dinners to specialized diets like low carb and diabetic-friendly options. The parking is ample, and the prices are very fair for the portion sizes you get. An interesting touch is their community pantry table, which shows their commitment to giving back to the community. However, despite the longer wait time for our food on a busy day and seeing other staff members not jumping in to help Caesar, the experience was good overall. My kids enjoyed their chicken strips, and the carne asada burrito I had was decent. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall feel and warmth of the place have me coming back. It's a charming little breakfast spot that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place with good food and excellent service in Moreno Valley.

This place certainly stands out for its exceptional customer service. The food here is always delicious, seasoned to perfection, and served hot right off the grill. They make sure your coffee cup never goes empty, which is a huge plus for coffee lovers like me. The staff is incredibly accommodating. The waitress we had was just so nice, making the whole dining experience even more pleasant. It’s not just the service; the establishment itself is well-kept and clean, which is always reassuring to see. On our recent visit for a New Year brunch with my nephew, Graciela provided us with amazing service. It’s experiences like these that have me looking forward to returning. The food is always tasty, and the atmosphere of the restaurant, from the moment you step in through the lobby to the service at the table, is consistently great. Juan, in particular, has been a standout server for us. He always makes sure our coffees are refilled and checks in on us to see if we need anything else. It’s this kind of attentiveness that makes the dining experience here so enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great server, you’ll want to ask for Juan. I also noticed Sergio Mendoza, the manager, doing an excellent job. Even on a busy weekend day, he helps keep the lobby from getting too full by cleaning tables and seating guests efficiently. It’s clear that the good service here starts from the top. A big thank you to Sergio for maintaining such a welcoming environment and to Juan for consistently going above and beyond with his service. It’s because of experiences like this that Denny's in Moreno Valley will always be a top choice for brunch. Looking forward to my next visit!

Every week, my family and I make it a point to visit IHOP in Moreno Valley for breakfast each Friday. It's become our little tradition, and we're rarely disappointed. The food here is consistently delicious, hot, and fresh. Plus, it's served in a timely manner, which is always appreciated. However, I've noticed that the service, particularly on Friday mornings, tends to be somewhat lacking. The waitresses seem disinterested and distant, offering minimal interaction or smiles, which is a sharp contrast to the vibrant flavors of the food. They often overlook simple but essential aspects of the service, like refilling drinks or providing straws without being asked. Despite the wonderful food, this lack of warmth does detract from the overall experience. On a brighter note, my experience on a Wednesday morning visit was notably different. The restaurant was quieter and provided a more intimate setting, which I preferred. Although there was a slight hiccup with the server being momentarily curt, the visit was overall pleasant. A particular highlight was when my niece and I visited right before the breakfast rush at 10 AM. The service was impressively swift, and the food didn't disappoint. The eggs were perfectly scrambled, the turkey sausages were outstanding, and the pancakes were simply irresistible, despite the diner being a bit darker and busier than usual. What truly made a difference, though, was the service we received from Jason during one of our visits. He was attentive, constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, and his efforts greatly enhanced our dining experience. The Breakfast Sampler, which I tried on his recommendation, was a hit, and my coffee was served just the way I like it—hot and fresh. Despite the occasional service hiccup, the great food and positive experiences like the one provided by Jason keep us coming back. It's a testament to the fact that when the service matches the quality of the food, IHOP in Moreno Valley really shines as a brunch spot.

Expecting a quick and easy self-serve order of a simple bagel and coffee, I was met with an incredibly long wait time, which was both surprising and frustrating. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, contributing to a chaotic environment and a long line that didn't seem to move. Watching the time pass as I waited to place my order was disheartening. Even after finally ordering, the delay in receiving my bagel and coffee was astonishing. It's perplexing that something so straightforward could take so long, showcasing a clear lack of efficiency and attentiveness from the staff. When it came to the food and drink quality, my expectations were not met. The bagel was far from fresh, missing the zest I look forward to in a Panera Bread meal, and the coffee was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for too long. Overall, the experience was disheartening. As someone who enjoys visiting Panera Bread, this particular location in Moreno Valley was a letdown. The long wait times, poor food quality, and general disorganization left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. It's disconcerting to witness such a lack of consideration for customer service and food quality in a well-known establishment. For those looking for a swift and satisfying dining experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. This visit was a reminder that not all locations uphold the same standards. Despite my affinity for the chain, this encounter was far from what I had hoped for, marked by a disregard for the customer experience. The slow service at the cashier during peak hours only added to the disappointment, making it unlikely for me to return anytime soon.

Had an opportunity to enjoy brunch at IHOP in Moreno Valley and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The service was notably fast and incredibly friendly, making the dining experience all the more pleasant. One thing to point out though, it was quite chilly inside the restaurant - a minor inconvenience in an otherwise delightful visit. Even though there's limited parking at this location, it's a small price to pay for the quality of service and food provided. They also have a walk-in coffee bar, which is a nice touch, although the service there could be a tad quicker. One of the standout aspects for me was the cleanliness of the place. The restaurant itself was well-maintained and the restrooms were clean and free of any unpleasant odors, which is always a plus. The interior was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, creating a very inviting atmosphere. The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were very friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met promptly, even as the place got busier. The food arrived hot, and I must say, it was quite good. While there was a moment where there seemed to be a slight delay in getting seated and receiving our drinks, the delicious food and the fantastic service from our waitress more than made up for it. She was very attentive, frequently checking on us to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall, the experience was very positive. Despite a couple of minor issues, the great food and excellent service will definitely bring me back to this IHOP in Moreno Valley. It's a nice, roomy place for a comfortable brunch with attentive staff and good food.
