For my birthday, I was craving strawberry pancakes, so I Googled and stumbled upon Clarkie's Diner in Moreno Valley. It was our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. They made us feel right at home, and supporting a small business like this is always a plus. I went with a veggie sandwich and fries, while my husband opted for the Clarkie’s breakfast burrito. Everything was wonderful, though the burrito has a lot of potatoes—something to keep in mind if that’s not your thing. The service was excellent; we were attended to immediately, though it was a Tuesday morning, so it wasn't too busy. The parking lot is small, but there's street parking available. On our way to Los Angeles, we stopped here, and I was genuinely impressed by the substantial portions and the quality of the food. The only improvement I'd suggest is adding a bit more flavor to the pancakes, but everything else was spot on. Our drinks were never empty, thanks to the awesome service. The menu is extensive, offering plenty of options to explore. I've already mapped out my next four visits because this spot has quickly become my new favorite for breakfast. If you're anywhere near this area, stopping by is a must! The food is fantastic, the people are great, and the portion sizes are generous. Finally, a place where you truly get more than you pay for!

This place is fantastic! My husband and I have been regulars since we moved to Moreno Valley over a year ago. The customer service is always top-notch, and the food never lets us down. Coming from Mississippi, I can confidently say that if you're looking for southern hospitality, this is the spot. The staff is wonderful! Haydee was my waitress on my last two visits, and she was incredible—super friendly and attentive. Everything I tried was delicious. Carolina recommended the waffle with pumpkin drizzle, and it was sweet, creamy, and elevated the meal. The fry steak was tasty, though I personally would've loved a bigger piece. The only downside is that the restaurant can get backed up, so clear communication is key to make sure everything reaches your table. We absolutely fell in love with this spot after moving to the area. Ashley provided fantastic service, and Ernesto made the experience unforgettable. If you like gravy, this place has some of the best! The food is fresh and full of flavor. We'll definitely be coming back.

I had breakfast at Oj's Cafe in Moreno Valley and it was fantastic! I tried the Turkey Melt with a side of mini pancakes, and it was the perfect portion for the price. My friends and I devoured our paninis, trying the carne asada, chicken pesto, and turkey club. Even though we're not from the area, we're planning to return. Oj's Cafe is a great spot for a good-sized and fresh panini. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything tasted. I also had a bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread, while my friend opted for sourdough. The service was excellent and the food was served quickly. They offer a variety of drinks, but I kept it simple with an americano, and there were plenty of coffee fixings available. I'm eager to return and try the bubble waffle with ice cream next time. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very attentive. On another visit, I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and a Cuban panini, both of which were very tasty. I will definitely be coming back!

The Cupcake & Espresso Bar in Moreno Valley truly impressed me during my visit for breakfast. The chai brûlée was delicious, though it developed an unusual taste as it cooled. The baked goods were tasty, and I had a wonderful experience with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cream coffee; it was the perfect drink choice with just the right amount of sweetness. The energy and theme of the place are vibrant, and the customer service was exceptional. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, although the outdoor table was a bit wobbly. Parking was manageable. While there, I also tried a blueberry scone that they warmed for me, and it was absolutely delightful. This spot is a hidden gem, and despite being a 40-minute drive away for me, I am eager to return. Although my iced coffee wasn't up to my liking, and my fiancé found the hot coffee to be lacking, the overall experience, from the service to most of the food, left a positive impression. The place is worth visiting, and I'm grateful to have discovered it. I left the parking lot knowing I had to share this review. Thank you for a memorable visit! 💓

Better-Be Donuts in Moreno Valley is a great spot for breakfast, offering terrific flavors and prompt service. Even though they don't have the full menu like the Riverside branch, the variety they do offer is impressive. The donuts here are fluffy and airy, although the icing can be a touch sweet for my taste, but still very enjoyable. I had a craving for some of their delicious donuts and called ahead to check if they had what I wanted. Wes, a wonderful young man, helped me out over the phone. Despite how busy they are, day and night, Wes was incredibly kind and provided excellent customer service. It's nice to talk to someone whose smile you can hear right through the phone! If you're in the area, definitely stop by for some tasty donuts and make sure to say hi to Wes!

Angelo's Burgers in Moreno Valley is a fantastic spot for breakfast and more. This small restaurant has a wide variety of options, from burgers and fries to Mexican food, breakfast items, onion rings, and sandwiches. The restaurant is extremely clean, and the people are incredibly nice, which makes for a welcoming atmosphere. Although the burgers are on the thinner side and the fries aren't as crisp as I'd like, the onion rings are definitely worth a try. Next time, I'll order a double burger to get more beef. I noticed another table had pancakes, and they looked really fluffy. The outdoor patio is inviting and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. The chicken fajitas were especially tasty. Even though it gets packed, especially since it's located across from a military base, the staff is efficient, and our food arrived quickly. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside. With such a diverse menu, it's a good idea to check it out beforehand so you know what to order at the counter. I’m definitely planning to come back!

Black Bear Diner in Moreno Valley is a gem for breakfast lovers. Walking in, you can immediately sense the lively and friendly atmosphere. The food here is nothing short of excellent, both in quality and quantity. There’s a wide range of options to choose from, and my breakfast — the Volcano — was superb. The meat and eggs were cooked to perfection, leaving me wondering where to start. The portions are generous, and it’s a real challenge to finish it all, but that just makes it more fun! Although the restaurant was busy and our server only returned after we finished our meal, it wasn’t a big deal considering how packed the place was during breakfast. I’ve been visiting since 2014, ever since I started school at UCR, and I've tried many breakfast spots around the Inland Empire. However, none have the same appeal as Black Bear Diner. The staff is always lovely, helpful, and attentive, making each visit enjoyable. The food consistently hits the mark, and free WiFi is a nice bonus if you need to catch up on work or browse the web. Over the years, this place has remained a favorite for breakfast with friends, family stops, and even date mornings. The Eggs Benedict with thick bacon and their classic omelets never fail, not to mention the face-sized biscuits. Their branded hot sauces are a must-try, adding the perfect kick to any dish. While I didn’t have room for pie this time — the choices looked fantastic — I see it as a reason to return. As long as I’m in Riverside, Black Bear Diner will be my go-to for a hearty breakfast. Plus, a shout-out to Sharon, who was our delightful server for dinner; she was patient and helpful, making our dining experience even better. Prepare to be well-fed and have a great time every visit!

Stopping at Denny's in Moreno Valley on our way back to Arizona turned out to be a great decision. The food was fresh and tasty, with perfectly made chicken tenders, crispy onion rings, and a refreshing small salad. Despite being busy, our server, Jackie, was attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of. The restaurant was clean, and the oldies music playing in the background added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The coffee stood out - it was freshly brewed and piping hot, just the way I like it. I also tried the waffle with fresh fruit and caramel drizzle, and it was delicious. Stephanie, who served me that day, was incredibly sweet and helpful. On another visit, Alejandra provided exceptional service by patiently guiding us through the menu and making sure we chose exactly what we wanted. The custom-made omelette was the best I’ve ever had, thanks to her recommendations. Alejandra's friendly and welcoming demeanor made the whole experience even better, and she's a true asset to this diner. Each visit to Denny’s has been lovely, and I look forward to stopping by again whenever I’m in the area.

The overall atmosphere was positive, thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Ms. Alba, in particular, stood out with her excellent service and infectious enthusiasm. Despite a short wait on a busy Mother's Day, the service was efficient, and everything was spotless. My family and I had a wonderful time, and we're already looking forward to our next visit, even if it means traveling all the way from Texas! This place is a gem for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you to the owner and the amazing team at Brandon's Diner!

I've got to say, Perris Donut & Burger Shop has really upped its game under the new owners. The food here is downright delicious. My go-to breakfast choice is always the sausage breakfast burrito with red salsa, and it never disappoints. Just today, I tried the carne asada breakfast burrito, and it was amazing. Without a doubt, this has become my favorite breakfast spot. Initially, I was a bit unsure about the place due to its presentation and location, but it's genuinely a 10/10 experience. The burgers are fantastic, and they load you up with fries. It's a great mom-and-pop burger joint with a lot to offer. The ranch dipping sauce stands out as the best I've ever had, and the bacon cheeseburger hits all the right notes. Fries and zucchini are cooked perfectly every time. I will definitely be returning—everything was just so delicious.

Bagel Time in Moreno Valley is a fantastic spot for a quick and delicious breakfast. I went there with some folks from our day program, and I was impressed by their tasty offerings. While there was a small hiccup with my drink order, the food more than made up for it. The lox bagel with all the fixings was simply delicious, and their sandwiches are top-notch. The turkey and bacon bagel is a definite must-try! They have an impressive array of fresh bagels and croissants, perfect for any breakfast craving. The coffee is also really good, and I'm particularly fond of their Asian Iced Coffee. The portion sizes are generous, which is always a plus. The two ladies working there are friendly and efficient, clearly putting effort into getting orders out promptly. If you're in the area and looking for a fulfilling breakfast, definitely check out Bagel Time.

Divino's Bakery & Restaurant is a real gem for breakfast in Moreno Valley. The atmosphere feels like a cozy, authentic Mexican kitchen, with everyone working there adding to the warm, welcoming vibe. The service was decent, despite a couple of forgotten items—which can happen anywhere—and the food more than made up for it. The Asada was tasty, and the breakfast burrito, especially their homemade special, was satisfying. I also tried the Cecina plate, but I would honestly recommend going with the Asada plate instead. While I’m not a fan of nopales, my girlfriend mentioned they were a bit sour. If you're choosing tamales, go for the pork, but be aware they run out early. The rice had good flavor, albeit a tad salty, while the beans, topped with queso fresco, were delicious. The flour tortillas were decent. The Horchata tasted like it was from a packet, which some might like, but I prefer a more authentic taste. What really stood out was the fresh squeezed orange juice, made on request—a delightful touch. The breakfast burrito was a reasonable size; filling without being overwhelming. The chilaquiles in red sauce and menudo were fantastic, truly highlighting the authentic Mexican flavors. The bakery is a hidden treasure. I was greeted warmly upon arrival, and the conchas were incredibly soft, with a hint of cinnamon that added great flavor. The empanadas were also a hit, and I’m eager to return to try more from the restaurant menu, which has a wide variety of choices. Overall, despite initial hesitations about the area, Divino's is absolutely worth the visit for its delicious, cooked-to-order food. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at Bravos California Fresh for breakfast in Moreno Valley. The chicken sandwich was the best I've ever had. I was expecting a chicken patty, but it far exceeded my expectations. Plus, the $5 deal on this sandwich is unbeatable. I visit often, and while I used to love their soup, I hope they reconsider their tortilla choice as it doesn't quite work for me. The staff is friendly, and even though it was my first visit, they made me feel welcome. My daughter and son-in-law are regulars, and I can see why. Despite a small hiccup with the zucchini fries, the quality of the rest of the food, like the salmon burger, was impressive. The service was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to assist me, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it's a place with good food and attentive service, and I'll definitely be back.

Farmer Boys in Moreno Valley is an excellent spot to bring the whole family for breakfast. They've got everything from kids meals to salads, and I can't get enough of their club sandwich. The portion sizes are impressive, and I'm especially a fan of the zucchini sticks and onion ring French fry combo. It's all fresh and definitely worth the wait. It's been a bit since I last visited for breakfast, but I was reminded why I enjoy this place so much. The food is delicious and arrives quickly, and the staff is always welcoming. Victoria, in particular, stood out with her pleasant demeanor and constant smile, really showcasing what great customer service looks like. The food was hot, fresh, and satisfying. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo with fries this time, and it didn't disappoint. For brunch, the family and I enjoyed a variety of dishes like the sausage breakfast burrito, Cesar salad, Denver omelet, and chili cheese fries. Everything was tasty and came in good portions. I highly recommend this restaurant. The fresh, dark green lettuce feels way better than what you get at other places, which tend to skimp with more white parts. Although this is a fast food chain, it stands out with food quality surpassing many regular restaurants in the area. Farmer Boys is a place that won't let you down.
