Rise & Bite Cafe in Naperville is a charming little spot for breakfast. It's the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood gem. The coffee was decent, and I appreciated having flavored creamer to jazz it up. The sausage links were outstanding, definitely a highlight of my meal. It's a bit surprising there's no counter to sit at since it seems like the type of place that would have one, but that's a minor detail. The service was excellent; the waitress was attentive and genuinely friendly. For those mornings when you're craving a straightforward meal, like two eggs, hashbrowns, meat, and toast, this is the place to go. The portion sizes are fantastic, and the quality of the food is top-notch. The Mexican skillet with chorizo is highly recommended, and the western skillet and blueberry pancakes are divine. Even though I came by near closing time, the service and food were impressive. I tried the build-your-own skillet, and it was hot and perfectly cooked. It's the kind of spot I'd love to visit regularly if I lived closer, and I'm hopeful they get more business because they deserve it. It's not crowded, which is surprising given how great it is. This cafe will definitely be my go-to for brunch, and I look forward to returning many more times.

I've visited Nature's Best Cafe twice, and both experiences have been fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and makes everyone feel right at home. They're attentive and genuinely sweet, which adds to the welcoming vibe. The food is both delicious and healthy, with prices that are very reasonable. It's definitely the kind of place where you want to leave a tip and recommend it to friends and family. My work with a therapeutic day school has brought us here several times over the years, and our students, who face various challenges, have always felt comfortable and accommodated. The staff is great at adapting to our needs, including using AAC devices for communication. Their pizza is excellent, and I can't get enough of their tasty omelets cooked in the wood-fired oven. Nature's Best Cafe has quickly become my go-to spot for breakfast. I was initially drawn in because I wanted a quick and affordable breakfast option, and this place exceeded my expectations. It's tucked away off Highway 59, offering a quiet outdoor dining option. My breakfast sandwich, toasted in the wood stove, was fresh, delicious, and served fast. I ordered at the counter and received my meal within minutes. I'll definitely be coming back!

I usually review restaurants, and being in construction, I eat out a lot. But I couldn’t skip the chance to give Rosie’s Home Cookin’ in Naperville a glowing review. The staff at Rosie’s is incredibly accommodating, more so than anywhere else I've been. The food is simply outstanding—so good, it seems almost too perfect! Whatever recipes they have need to be protected at all costs. And the coffee? Wow! It’s so good, you’ll find yourself finishing a whole pot. Growing up on the Southside and being a Cubs fan, I’ve been to many breakfast diners, but Rosie’s completely takes the cake. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The breakfast I had was a revelation. The apple pancake was incredible, and the biscuits and gravy were delicious with a light and savory gravy. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with a nostalgic 50s vibe, complete with matching music. We even got to chat with the owner, a veteran who was a delight. The service was exceptional, making for an unforgettable experience. Rosie's is a cool spot with great decor and service, but you’re there for more than just service—the food is the real star. I went with my family of four, and although the bill was $75, it was worth it. The coffee might not have flavor creamers, but it was still good. Eggs were cooked perfectly, from scrambled to over medium. The pancakes, although smaller, were spot on in both taste and texture. While the biscuits and gravy were good, I wouldn’t say they were the best I’ve ever had; they didn’t quite reach 'great' status. The wait staff was impressively friendly, and the overall vibe was fantastic with its veteran-owned roots. Meeting Mr. Lowder, the owner who’s a Marine and a lawyer, was a highlight. Hearing about Rosie’s story and his motivations made the experience even more special. He’s a genuine person, and it shows in how the restaurant is run. His staff is excellent too. Our visit was a random choice, and I’m so glad we picked Rosie’s. The food is fresh, with generous servings that will leave you satisfied. If you love bacon, brace yourself because the bacon flapjack is a next-level experience. Rosie’s is a small, veteran-owned diner that honors first responders and military in a truly nostalgic way. Support this place—you won’t regret it!

Cornerstone Cafe in Naperville is a fantastic spot for breakfast and more. The food is great, with hot soup, tasty sandwiches, fresh salads, and a variety of coffee options, including espresso and healthy smoothies. Their Rubens are a standout. I usually add cream and sugar to my coffee, but here the Americano is so good, I drink it as is. The staff and volunteers are always friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I love that all profits go to charity, so I now skip Starbucks and get my mocha here instead. The atmosphere is perfect for getting work done or having meetings, with plenty of seating, free Wi-Fi, and enough power outlets. It's a great place to hang out before church or just spend some time during the day. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great coffee, friendly people, and a good cause.

I was super impressed with Lucky Penny Deli Cafe. We were in Naperville for an event and I got to pick our Sunday breakfast spot. I was ready for some skepticism from my family about the location, but once we walked in, we were all sold. The cafe has a homemade, family-oriented vibe that's really welcoming. The staff was great, and the food was amazing. The place really is a hidden gem. Even though we're from downstate, we've marked this cafe for our next visit. I had the meathead skillet, my wife enjoyed the green chilaquiles, and my daughter loved her pancake combination, especially with the extra bacon. Our eggs were cooked perfectly, and the pancakes were impressively large. The frontage may be small, but don't let that fool you. They offer vegan and gluten-free menus, showing real attention to detail. I’d recommend trying the Mexican Vegan Skillet—the non-egg eggs were fluffy perfection. During another visit, I tried the breakfast pizza, adjusting it to my taste, and found it very good. My husband had the corned beef hash skillet, which was flavorful and a generous portion. We couldn't resist the homemade coffee cakes and went with the cherry—it was delicious. The family who owns this place is sweet, and the diner is spotless. The owner’s daughter, who was also our server, was delightful and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. My mom is vegan, and it’s always a challenge to find places we all enjoy, but this cafe's full vegan menu made it easy. It's one of the few places accommodating to all dietary needs, and the food is truly delicious. We’ll definitely return next time we're in town.

EggCited for Breakfast in Naperville is a gem of a breakfast spot that I absolutely love! The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and cozy atmosphere, complete with charming decor that makes it a great spot for families or solo diners alike. During my visit, I indulged in steak and eggs, and chicken and waffles, both of which were delightful. The dragon fruit drink was refreshing, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they serve authentic Turkish coffee. Although the presentation of the food might not be its strongest suit, the quality and taste more than make up for it. The eggs, sourced from Wisconsin, are fresh and taste fantastic. While some might find the pancakes a little plain, the pumpkin-filled pancakes during the fall are an absolute must-try—they're simply amazing! The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring that everyone is seated promptly, which is always appreciated. Plus, the prices provide great value for the quality of food. All in all, EggCited is a wonderful place to enjoy a satisfying breakfast, and I can’t wait to return!

We had a great breakfast at Cinnamon Pancake House the other day. I went for the Denver omelette with hash browns, and my wife was thrilled with her chicken & waffles. The service was pretty good, though there was a moment when something smelled like burning plastic, and everyone was a bit confused. Despite that, I'd recommend this place for brunch or breakfast. Definitely try the chilaquiles! The pancakes and sausages were top-notch, and I have to mention the soup—it was truly amazing, easily in my top 10. I've had my share of bad soups, but this one stood out. We also loved their signature Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes. They're sweet, warm, and perfectly cinnamon-y. The French Toast shouldn't be missed either; it's fluffy, golden, and delicious. And for anyone who loves red velvet, their Red Velvet Pancakes are a must-try—rich and decadent. Savory fans have plenty to enjoy as well, with classic breakfast options like eggs, bacon, and omelets that are sure to please. If you're around later, their lunch menu is worth checking out too. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The wait staff is amazing, probably the best in the area. You can tell the owner puts a lot of heart into both the food and the atmosphere. We had an excellent brunch, with incredible food that came in large portions and at very affordable prices. The kids especially loved the Grinch pancakes. I'd definitely return for more!

Visiting the area for a check-up, I decided to try Colonial Cafe in Naperville for breakfast. The place has a charming ambiance, reminiscent of an older establishment, but well-maintained and clean. I ordered a basic breakfast to start—coffee, eggs, and bacon—which were all cooked to perfection. The coffee was good, though I found the extra charge for toast a bit unexpected. While the prices could be more competitive, the service was efficient, and parking was hassle-free. On another visit, I tried the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Everything tasted good, though the biscuits were a bit harder than I prefer. My husband enjoyed his omelet, especially the fire-roasted salsa, which was a standout. Despite small drawbacks, the atmosphere was pleasant, and even as more people arrived, the noise level remained comfortable. For lunch, I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. While the meatloaf was slightly dry for my taste, it still felt like a homemade meal. The pineapple shake was refreshing, though a little extra pineapple flavor would have made it perfect. Overall, Colonial Cafe delivers a solid homey experience, with quick service and good food. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu, particularly for lunch or dinner.

Breakfast at Egg Harbor Cafe in Naperville was a truly enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, and I was impressed by how quickly we were served – faster than most non-fast food places. Their jelly stood out as exceptional, much better than store-bought options. Although it was a bit loud due to the bustling crowd, it didn't overshadow the fantastic service and food. My husband and I have consistently received great service here. Even though we live over two hours away, we make a point to stop by whenever we're in Naperville, sometimes arriving right after they open to beat the crowd. On our visit, I tried the blueberry gluten-free waffles, which were amazing, alongside perfectly fresh bacon and fluffy eggs. My son enjoyed a meat skillet that was fantastic. The restaurant was extremely clean, and the service, especially from Noemi S., was outstanding. Her recommendation for the house jam was spot on. We'll definitely be back for more!

I came to Pancake Cafe absolutely starving, and I was not disappointed. The blueberry pancakes were amazing, tasting like heaven on a plate. The bacon was a bit chewy for my liking, but still tasty. The fries seemed homemade, and while they were okay, I prefer them crispy and salty. But everything else was spot-on, and my food arrived in about 3 minutes, which was impressive. The Apple pancake was incredible, no regrets there! The atmosphere and service were just right. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the corned beef hash. A pleasant surprise was the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry jam—they became a quick favorite. I'm already looking forward to going back for lunch to try their corned beef and pastrami. This place was fantastic overall. The BLT was delicious, my son loved the crepes, and my wife couldn't stop talking about the eggs Benedict. The service was great, friendly, and quick. Today, we had a fantastic experience at Cracker Barrel! Manager Scott made accommodating our large group easy, and the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, as always, and the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this location for its great American food and top-notch service. Whenever my friend visits from Mexico, she loves coming here to eat. The service has always been great, and the food amazing; we always have a fun time with friends and family. There's plenty of parking, and it's conveniently close to I-88. The store never disappoints, and we always end up buying something. I've visited many different Cracker Barrel locations and consistently had good experiences. Service is always attentive, drinks are refilled promptly, and food is brought out hot. I recently took my dad out for an early Father’s Day celebration and ordered grandpa’s country fried breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, chicken fried chicken, fried apples, and biscuits with gravy. The eggs were well-cooked, and the chicken fried chicken was good, though it could be slightly more tender. The biscuits were soft and the gravy tasty. Even with a large crowd on Father's Day, our wait was about 10 minutes, just as estimated. Cracker Barrel was perfectly staffed for the occasion. Our server, Steve, was pleasant and did a great job handling all his tables. The chicken fried chicken was, as always, excellent, and the okra and dumplings were winners. Despite the hot temperature outside, inside was perfectly comfortable. Overall, it's a great place with reasonable prices, a good food selection, and excellent service. If you’ve never been, go, and if you have, definitely go back!

We visited Buttermilk for breakfast on a Tuesday, and despite it being busy, we were seated quickly. Our server, Sydney, was nice and patient, and Ubaldo did a great job keeping our table clear. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. I ordered an apple cherry cider mimosa, fried green tomatoes, the goat omelette, mountain house skillet, and cherry smoked thick bacon. The eggs were fluffy, and the biscuits had a light honey spread. While the mimosa and bacon tasted like their regular counterparts, everything was still delicious. We also stopped by on a Saturday, and to our surprise, there was no wait even though the place was packed. Our server was friendly, and the pancakes were enormous. The honey oat pancake, in particular, was the best I’ve had. It took about 20 minutes for our order, but aside from that, the experience was great. The spicy skillet and sweet biscuit I tried were tasty, and the coffee service with a pot and bottle of water at the table was a nice touch. Overall, Buttermilk is a terrific spot for breakfast and lunch. The food is made to order, and the skillets and wraps are especially good. The friendly staff enhances the clean and inviting ambiance. With so many other tempting options on the menu, I would definitely go back. Perfect for sharing with friends, given the portion sizes!

I decided to stop by Tasty Biscuit in Naperville for breakfast, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Sure, it's a little pricey for diner food, but it's definitely worth every penny. The place has been newly remodeled, and the atmosphere is inviting with a modern vibe. The specialty coffee drinks are made to order, which is a nice touch. The wait staff was incredibly friendly, and I never had to ask for anything – they were always a step ahead, which made for great service. I visited on a Saturday around 10 am, and even though it was pretty packed, there was no wait. I was impressed by how immaculate the bathrooms were. I ordered pancakes, and they were perfection! It was my first time here, and I appreciated the plenty of seating and large selection of breakfast items. Although the Benny’s had a bit too much sauce, making it overwhelming, next time I'll just ask for less. The bright and white interior is appealing, giving the place a fancy ambiance. We were seated immediately, and our order was taken quickly. We tried a variety of items – eggs, bagel, hash browns, coffee, turkey bacon, fried green tomatoes, and the pumpkin specialty French Toast – and everything was good. The portions were plentiful, and if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot where you can get in and out quickly, this is it!

I ultimately decided to try the Farmhouse hash, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. From the perfectly cooked vegetables every bite was a perfect combination of different flavors and textures. After my meal, I wholeheartedly recommend First Watch to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast experience. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant make it a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates a well-prepared and fresh meal. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the delicious and freshly made offerings at First Watch. It's an experience you definitely don't want to miss out on. Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always a 10 and delicious. Staff is extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. This location is better than Oak Brook with wait times and seating availability. Will definitely be back. Have gone here multiple times and the food has always been good. The restaurant has a nice open feel to it on one side and comfortably enclosed on the other. The food was good - as expected. The smoked salmon frittata was good... The accompanying potatoes were nicely done, but too salty for our taste. Their bread was delicious. Their coffee had a terrible burnt flavor. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere was laid-back with great tunes playing in the background, making it a fun place to dine in. While the setup is more of a sandwich shop with just a few tables, the service truly stands out. Even though ordering at the kiosk and using plastic tableware wasn't my favorite, the amazing food and the overall experience more than made up for it. Despite a few hiccups, like a mix-up with cheese due to allergies, the staff was attentive and quick to address the issue. I'll definitely be back often for the breakfast tacos and the genuinely warm service. I had a great time starting my day at Einstein Bros. Bagels in the heart of Downtown Naperville. This place has been around for years, and it never disappoints. The service was friendly and efficient, exactly what I needed to kick off my morning. If you love bagels, you have to give this place a try. They offer a wide variety of tasty options at reasonable prices. I recommend trying the Six Cheese, Maple French Toast, and Cinnamon Sugar bagels. The Cinnamon Sugar bagel with butter was decent, though they were a bit heavy on the butter. The French Toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese was delicious. This location is pretty large, with entrances on two separate streets, and it's always bustling with activity. It's great to see they're doing well, especially with North Central College students frequenting the place. The Chorizo Breakfast Burrito is amazing, totally worth the $8+. The All-Nighter was good, but maybe not quite worth the same price. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was awesome. My only gripe would be the loyalty rewards program—it takes spending $200 to get a free $8 sandwich. Overall, it's a good spot to grab breakfast and kick off the day right.

Sweet Toast Café in Naperville is a delightful spot for breakfast. The food is delicious and the service is amazing, even if it's a bit on the pricey side. The portions are generous, so you’ll likely have enough leftovers for another meal or two, which helps balance out the cost. While there was a mismatch between the online menu and the print menu regarding side dishes and prices, leading to an unexpected charge for my sister, it didn't overshadow the overall experience. Our waitress, Anel (I hope I got her name right), was phenomenal, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the café is cool and clean, offering a kid-friendly menu that adds a bit of character. The food, including the BYO omelette, pancakes, Chilaquiles, and breakfast tacos, was satisfying, even if not extraordinary. However, the consistency and flexibility with substitutions are great, and the family-run vibe with caring staff adds a personal touch that's hard to find in chain restaurants. Despite some minor issues, Sweet Toast Café has won my regular business because they truly value their customers. They’re accommodating and make breakfast feel easy and enjoyable. The gluten-free Limon-blue pancakes are a standout, not overly sweet but just right. Plus, the friendly staff and welcoming environment, even for our support dog Gizmo, make it a place I highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Sugar Milk Cafe for breakfast in Naperville. Our waitress was friendly, which set a nice tone for our visit. The drink menu is amazing, and I’d recommend it for at least a coffee date. I tried the ranchero skillet, which was very spicy with green chile—perfect for spice lovers like me, though I couldn't finish it. It could have used more chorizo, and the toast was quite small. Most breakfast items are in the $14-15 range, while specialty shakes are $8-12, and lattes or frappes are $7-8. Visiting on a weekday morning meant it was relatively peaceful, which is a rarity in Naperville. It's much more laid-back compared to the busy downtown area, plus parking is convenient. The decorations are cute and perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. While I didn't enjoy the crepe or the hot cocoa, 7 brew is definitely the best. Despite the crepe being disappointing, with a bitter taste and insufficient Nutella, the overall service was excellent, and our orders came out correctly. It was a bit odd that our waitress didn’t bring the bill or tell us to pay upfront, but we'll definitely return. We especially loved coming for dessert—both the frappes and shakes were as delicious as they looked! I’m excited to come back and try more, like the pumpkin spice pancakes or the apple pie French toast, with an empty stomach next time.
