BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICHES đ I came here with my mom and grandma, and it was AWESOME! The place is SO cute, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The blueberry matcha was delicious, and they offer a variety of coffee options. Thereâs both indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect đ. I highly recommend Levity for breakfast or lunch đ€. Itâs a great spot for brunch. The food was good, and the place was clean. It can get busy, so itâs best to come early to avoid the crowds. The staff and owner/manager were amazing, and I can definitely recommend this spot. This is such a sweet little place for a tasty breakfast! The cozy atmosphere, combined with wonderful breakfast and brunch items, made for an amazing meal. We enjoyed the scones, a snickerdoodle cookie, and scones with gravy! Everything was yummy. I'm looking forward to another visit to try the waffles! I discovered this place before it became too popular. We had no problem getting a table on a Sunday morning, and we even snagged a table outside in the shade. The place offers a fun twist by serving scones instead of biscuits, and the scones with gravy work just fine. Good food and a good atmosphere. I do recommend trying this place soon; it wonât be long before itâs too busy to get in.
The Earth Café & Deli

What a lovely little shop! I found The Earth Café & Deli while searching for healthier options and reading the great reviews online, and I haven't been disappointed. I've tried the Portobello mushroom sandwich, the "Pick Two" with veggie chili and a small Earth salad, a vanilla iced latte, and a blondie so far. I highly recommend this place and plan to return as often as I can to try all the fantastic options they offer. The vegan breakfast tacos with tofu, vegan strawberry jam with a bagel, and the vegan no-bake with some coconut water were absolutely the best! There are so many desserts, drink choices, and a menu that's both vegan and vegetarian-friendly. Every bite is worth it. The food is so good it will blow your mind and delight your taste buds! I've been loving this spot since the first time I walked in 20 years ago and got a smoothie. The food quality is off the charts, using the highest quality ingredients you can find in town. Plus, there's an energy and ambiance here that's beyond words. I'm a big fan of the tuna or turkey melt and the breakfast mountain, while my partner loves the chili pies and tempeh reuben. The variety of veggie and vegan options is dizzying, and it's all run by some of the nicest people. If you skip The Earth, you're missing out on a magical experience. I'm so glad I took the time to stop in here. The veggie sandwich is the best I've had in ages, and the menu is packed with options. The staff is sweet, and there are lots of beverage choices, too. I'll definitely be back!
Juan del Fuego Mexi Diner

What a nice surprise! We stumbled upon Juan del Fuego when the Thai restaurant next door had a long wait, and I'm so glad we did. The service was great, and the food was even betterâpacked with flavor! The menu has a nice selection of breakfast and lunch options. The chips, salad, and guacamole are a must-try appetizer. Usually, when we travel, we avoid Mexican food to steer clear of disappointment, but a friend recommended this place, and it didnât disappoint. My husband enjoyed the Chipotle Burger, and I loved the special on the board. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 10 minutes for a table, and the service was fast. This place is incredible! If it were in my town, I'd be a regular for sure. Everything was outstanding, from the salsa to the enchiladas to the service. The biscuits and gravy were just average, but everything else was spot on. If you like a Mexican twist on your breakfast, this is your spot! It's family-owned, and you can tell they take pride in their business. I highly recommend it! The omelets? Best ever. Whenever I'm in Norman, Juan del Fuego is a must-visit for breakfast. The consistently savory dishes and friendly service make it a favorite of mine. Plus, it feels good to support a small business. They serve generous portions with plenty of sides, fillings, and sauces to mix and match. I always get a side of pancakes with my omeletâa perfect combo of sweetness and savory. They even let you customize your order; avocado is my go-to addition. If you're a breakfast fan, don't drive past this hidden gem!
The Winston

I visited The Winston for breakfast in Norman and had a fantastic experience. Deciding to switch things up from a previously enjoyable dinner, I went for brunch this time, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which were delicious, especially with the bourbon glaze that came with them. My husband tried the breakfast sandwich, and we both ended up with clean plates, thoroughly enjoying our meals. The atmosphere was lively, fitting well with the restaurant's college bar vibe. While it can get a bit noisy, the energy adds to the charm of the place. The service was fantastic, attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole dining experience even better. I noticed others in our party had great things to say about their cheeseburger and fries, chicken Parmesan, and the interesting Zoodles sweet potato noodles with grilled chicken and house marinara sauce, which all tasted incredibly fresh. The drink menu was extensive and offered some interesting choices at unbeatable happy hour prices. It's a great spot to unwind and try a few different things. Just a heads up, if you're allergic to pumpkin or pumpkin seeds, make sure to mention it, as they appear in quite a few dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful brunch experience and are looking forward to returning for dinner soon. Great meal, great service, and a nice atmosphere â The Winston is definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.
The Diner

Natasha Zavaleta Recio
The Diner was a pleasant spot for breakfast. The atmosphere was charming and had that classic diner feel. The service, while a bit slow at times, was friendly. It seemed like only one waitress was handling the tables, but she did her best to keep things moving. I particularly enjoyed the biscuits, which were fresh and tasty, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. My husband and I shared a base omelet platter with mushrooms, and it was both tasty and light. The portion size was just right for us to have a satisfying yet lighter breakfast. The platter came with a choice of hash browns or home fries and bread; we went for the biscuits and gravy, which did not disappoint. Though I wasn't thrilled with the brisket hash, which tasted a bit like leftover pot roast, it wasn't enough to overshadow the good aspects of our meal. The prices were good, making it a reasonable choice for breakfast. A better quality coffee would have been appreciated, though, as I'm a bit of a coffee enthusiast. Overall, I left satisfied with my visit to The Diner and would certainly consider returning, hoping for an improved coffee experience. A warm apple pie on the menu would be a fantastic addition, too!
El Huevo Mexi-Diner

Harold Ahams
I've been to El Huevo Mexi-Diner for breakfast several times, and each visit has been nothing short of awesome. Both the food and service are consistently excellent, making each experience feel like a trip to heaven. I'm really hoping they open a location in Edmond because I absolutely love this place! Whether you're in the mood for brunch or dinner, they have you covered with a variety of options. The breakfast nachos are incredibly epic, and everything I've tried has been impressive. Standout dishes include the quesadilla, chicken tower, fajita bowl with Birria grilled cheese (without meat), and the Mexi corn side. The grilled cheese in the fajita bowl is a unique twist that's full of flavor. I also enjoyed the spicy and satisfying green chili chicken enchiladas. While the tamales didn't quite hit the mark for me, the rest of the food was fantastic. There are still more menu items I can't wait to try. Their brunch and breakfast offerings are the main draw, but the lunch and dinner menus hold their own too. The breakfast burrito and breakfast nachos are top-notch, and the Carne Asada burrito is phenomenal. To top it all off, they serve excellent coffee and have fantastic happy hour specials for both drinks and food.
La Baguette Bakery & Cafe

La Baguette Bakery & Cafe is a true feast for the eyes, especially if you love sweets. They offer an impressive variety of desserts that are executed perfectly, whether you're in the mood for something fruity, chocolaty, or nutty. Initially drawn in by their desserts, I found that the plated breakfast was equally satisfying. Every dish I've tried has been just right, making me eager to return and explore more of their offerings. The bakery side of the cafe impressed me so much that I'll definitely be ordering cakes from there in the future. The cafe also offers delicious food, and I was pleased with the family-friendly atmosphere. Although parking can be tricky, it's a small price to pay for such a popular spot. A birthday cake I picked up was perfect for our small family gathering, and a meal of soup and sandwich from the Manager's Special left me hoping to visit again soon with my kids. The staff was great and very helpful, which adds to the welcoming vibe. However, on my last visit, I tried the sandwiches and found the bread to be extremely hard, almost to the point of being painful. It's disappointing because I've experienced fresh baguettes in Europe and know they shouldn't be like this. I'm unsure if it was just an off day for the bread, but it's worth noting. Despite this, the fries were tasty, and I still recommend their other baked goods. Hopefully, the bread quality improves because this cafe has a lot to offer.
Neighborhood JAM
102 W Main St, Norman

Arely Glay
I absolutely love Neighborhood JAM for breakfast in Norman and have been visiting at least twice a week since discovering it last month. Everything I've tried has been delicious, with my favorites being the shrimp & grits and the French toast. Their drink menu is excellent, tooâI'm a big fan of their lattes, and the London Fog is amazing. Just a heads-up: the waits can be long on weekends, but it's totally worth it. This spot easily ranks in my top five brunch places across the country, and Iâve lived in cities like NYC, Vegas, and SoCal. The staff is fantastic, with friendly and efficient servers, and Arlena stands out as a great asset to their management team. I enjoy bringing new people here, and I know I'll keep coming back. Sitting at the bar is a good way to avoid the wait, and while the booths look comfy, this option worked well for me. Plus, they offer a military discount, which I appreciate for the respect it shows. Overall, I rate this place a huge five stars. While I found the portion size on the steak and eggs not quite worth the price, and it felt as if we were bothering our busy waitress at the bar, the iced latte was delicious, and my friend's huevos rancheros were a hit. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was clean and nicely decorated. I feel the savory dishes outshine the sweet ones here. But still, I'll keep coming back for more.
Hassler's Restaurant
333 S Porter Ave, Norman

Antonio Lucier
Hassler's Restaurant for breakfast in Norman is one of the best dining experiences I've had. The food is great, the prices are fantastic, and the service is exceptional. The servers took my brother's allergy concerns seriously and handled it with professionalism, which was impressive. I'm definitely recommending Hassler's to everyone I know. When I walked in, the place was bustling, so I grabbed a seat at the counter, although it's a bit tight on space there. My waitress was excellent, attentive to taking my order and checking in on me. I ordered an omelette with hash browns and a biscuit & gravy. The omelette was delicious, and the sides were decent. Inside, it gets a bit chaotic with all the customers, but that's part of the charm. Just a heads up, it's cash only, and some condiments like hot sauce and ketchup come from the local dollar store, so manage your expectations. The water is from the local tap as well. Despite these quirks, the value you get is exceptional. Hassler's is a Norman classic diner, and I'm glad to see they're still thriving. I had the Heavenly Hash browns with gravy and a side of pancakes, all cooked to perfection. The friendly service and hometown feel make it a comfortable setting. Donât miss out on their fried green tomatoes too!
Boomarang Diner Norman (Porter)
517 N Porter Ave, Norman

Nakwan Sekely
The atmosphere at Boomarang Diner in Norman is inviting and nostalgic, giving you that classic diner feel, which I really enjoyed. The place was spotless, and the staff was friendly and attentive, especially Morgan, the manager, who went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. The service was top-notch, which made the dining experience even better. When it came to the food, it was cooked to perfection. My breakfast was just how I like itâfluffy eggs, chicken fried steak cooked to perfection, and hash browns with the right amount of crispiness. They definitely know how to get breakfast right, and it shows. Despite some previous experiences with side items that could use improvement, the overall experience was great. It's hard to find a place that captures that old-school diner experience so well. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a solid breakfast spot or craving that nostalgic diner vibe. Even with some minor hiccups in the past, it's a place worth checking out.
Chick-fil-A
120 12th Ave NE, Norman

Magdalena Bunnell
Chick-fil-A for breakfast in Norman never fails to impress me. The service is consistently good, and the employees are friendly and attentive. While I've noticed some variations in food quality between locations, this one has always delivered a satisfying breakfast experience. The nuggets are tasty and well-cooked, and the fries, when fresh, hit the spot. My drink is always spot-on, and I appreciate how easy the app makes ordering. Their efficiency is commendable, with orders coming out quickly, and any issues are resolved with genuine care. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant dining atmosphere. Despite the occasional busy parking lot, I'm always happy with my meal and the overall experience.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Victor Amanor
We had a party of six for breakfast at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Norman, and the experience was wonderful. Our server was outstandingâone of the best we've had in a long time. She made sure we were well taken care of, always smiling, refilling our drinks, and checking if we needed anything. The staff went above and beyond to make my father's birthday special, and it was much appreciated. The new items on the menu, like the shepherd's pie, were delicious, and we enjoyed trying them out. Even though the chairs were a bit uncomfortable, the overall meal was pleasant. The service truly stood out and made our visit memorable. Alesha, our waitress, was on point the entire time and deserves recognition for her exceptional service. Overall, it was a nice breakfast, and we left satisfied.
Torchys Tacos

4 score and 7 years ago (or literally yesterday), I found myself at Torchy's Tacos for some much-needed breakfast. This time, my dining companions were politically themed tacosâthe Democrat and the Republican. Thankfully, these tacos were anything but divisive; they were downright delicious! I would gladly sit down again to debate which taco is the best, but really, the best one is the one youâre currently eating. If you havenât tried Torchy's yet, youâre missing out in a big way. It's totally worth going out of your way if you're nearby or travelingâjust go for it. Iâm writing this from South Dakota, and itâs a bummer we donât have one up here. I might just consider moving closer! I headed to Torchy's after a doctor's appointment, craving the old favorite prickly pear and cane sugar Coke drinks, but alas, theyâre no longer on the menu. However, the Farmer's Punch was a solid replacement, and the tacos were fantastic as always! I tried the Fo Sho for the first time and it blew me awayâit might just be my new favorite. I paired it with my usual go-to, the Baja Shrimp, which never disappoints, and enjoyed the always-tasty Street Corn. Iâm curious now if the Fo Sho can be made with fried avocadoâmight have to try that next time. And, of course, I couldn't resist taking some churros home. Theyâre that good! My partner and I go here every Tuesday for date night, and I love trying new tacos each week, though the breakfast tacos are secretly my favorite. Canât forget to mention the classic margarita with a tajin rimâitâs a must-have. Plus, the manager, Cory, is amazing and always makes our experience top-notch. First time, I tried the Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, and Brushfire tacos. While the Trailer Park was massive and not my favorite due to too much chicken and sauce, the Baja Shrimp was a hit. The Brushfire stood out the most with its awesome mix of flavors and a sweet mango touch. Torchy's Tacos is a place I genuinely love.
la Madeleine

Logans Santana
La Madeleine in Norman is a delightful spot for breakfast, bringing back fond memories from my college days in Lewisville, TX. The atmosphere inside is cozy, clean, and inviting â definitely the best restaurant in the area. Every time I'm in Norman, I make it a point to stop by. The food is always superb, and the service matches with a warm and welcoming vibe. The potato soup and caramel crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e are standout favorites, and the baguette and beef with parmesan potatoes are highly recommended. Just a heads-up to check your orders before leaving â I once had an issue with a box of tartes, but aside from that, I absolutely love this place and encourage others to give it a try!
The Bagel Factory

Cataleye Hinckley
I was super pleased with my experience at The Bagel Factory for breakfast. I stopped going when it was under different management because I was underwhelmed, but decided to give them another try, and I was so impressed! This is definitely the best NY style bagel I've had in the area. The workers were super friendly and prompt, which made the visit even better. I'll definitely be backâit's a great place! James Lawler served me my bagels, and he had such a good attitude. We chatted for a minute, and I think he definitely deserves a raise. The bagels were absolutely delicious, and I'm already planning my next visit. I love the bagels here! I'm consistently impressed by the young folks working at this establishment. They seem to handle tough situations well. Even when it looked like there werenât enough staff, they communicated and worked together as a team to keep things running smoothly. I'll continue to stop by for my weekly treat on my way to work. The food was good, the bagels tasted great, and the protein on them was perfect. The only reason for the 4-star rating is because some people can be extra picky, but I'm definitely going back for sure!

Jessica Stephens
Visiting our daughter at OU led us to discover an amazing breakfast spot in Norman, and Syrup didn't disappoint. The service was wonderful, and the breakfast and coffee were even better. It was a bit noisy, typical for a college town, but it didnât take away from the experience. The fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, and eggs were heavenly. If you're in Norman, a trip to Syrup is a must! While in town, a friend took me to Syrup for my birthday breakfast. Being from Houston, we turned to TikTok for suggestions, and I'm so glad we found this gem. The staff was polite, the food was amazing, and the space was just right. With my gluten intolerance, I was thrilled to find gluten-free pancakes that were as good as the regular ones. The seasoned potatoes and scramble skillet were delightful too. My husband couldnât get enough of their pancakes and French toast. Weâre eager to try more dishes on our next visit. I highly recommend Syrup for breakfast; the vibe is bright and inviting. Although the food took a bit longer to arrive, it was beautifully presented. While I'm not a huge fan of their biscuits and gravy due to personal taste preferences, the crunchy French toast hit the spot. My husband loved everything he tried. If you're in Norman, make sure to check out Syrup for a fantastic brunch experience! đ„đ„đł
Denny's

I had a great time at Denny's in Norman for breakfast. The atmosphere was welcoming, with modern decor and plenty of parking. The service was excellent; everyone was friendly and attentive. Derek, in particular, was nice and funny, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious and came out fresh and hot. There were a lot of options on the menu, including some new items, and the waitress was even able to customize my dessert order. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I enjoyed every part of my visit.
Panera Bread
2200 W Main St, Norman
(405) 447-0000
Jenny Wahl
I had a great breakfast experience at Panera Bread in Norman. My partner and I opted for the pick two, which includes half a sandwich and a small bowl of Mac n cheese. While it came to $40, I find that everything is expensive these days, and the quality of the food made it worth it. The service was generally good, and Matt, in particular, was an excellent representative for the restaurant â he would be an asset to any company. The only downside that affected my rating was the presence of flies inside the restaurant, particularly around the dessert/bakery section. It would be beneficial for management to cover all the bakery items or consider installing a bug trap to maintain hygiene standards. Also, parking can be an issue for rapid pick-up orders, as there isnât a designated spot near the entrance, and the drive-through line moves slowly. Despite these minor inconveniences, Panera Bread remains a favorite for breakfast, and I would highly recommend it.
IHOP
840 Ed Noble Pkwy, Norman
(405) 292-4467
Brian Norde
I typically don't write reviews for places like IHOP, but my recent visit was different and worth sharing. Something must have changed because everything felt improvedâfrom the plating and service to the portion sizes. Whether it's new management or something else, it's working, and I'm impressed. The All You Can Eat Pancakes deal was a highlight for just five bucks! Despite some family drama at our table, the pancakes were the best I've ever had at an IHOP. They were exceptionally fluffy and delicious. I do miss the four syrup flavors in those big dispensers, thoughâIHOP, please bring those back! Service at 3am isn't usually stellar, but my waitress was fantastic. She was kind, courteous, and somehow knew exactly what I neededâlike when I wanted a lot of strawberry syrup. Whoever worked the overnight shift on 10/22/2024 deserves recognition and a raise! The prices are reasonable, especially if you're dining with kids since they eat free. While the food wasn't extraordinary, the BLT and pancakes stood out. The service overall was a bit slow and lacked friendliness, but not to the point of being rude. The lively atmosphere with families didn't bother us at all. Overall, it was a positive experience at IHOP, and I'll likely be back.
