This place is incredibly clean and well-organized, and I love the modern urban vibe it gives off. I ended up ordering two of each type of bread they had left. The donuts were perfectly fluffy and had a great flavor, though they were medium soft. The pig-shaped bread wasn't as soft or flavorful as I hoped, but I'd still rate it an 8/10. I'm eager to return and try some items from their deli menu. The staff was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Doughboy's Cafe has a great reputation for its sweet treats and Mexican baked goods – and rightly so! From the outside, it might not look like much, but this place is a hidden gem. Despite its unassuming exterior, locals love it, and it's clear why. People keep coming in, excited for what they're about to enjoy, which is a great sign. The customer service is splendid, making each visit a pleasure. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato and pineapple empanadas and their scones. The scones might be a bit stiff, and the edges of the empanadas a bit dry, but the flavors inside are totally worth it. They might look ordinary but deliver a taste sensation. Their donuts are also incredibly airy and soft. Their thumbprint cookies are quite pretty and only 89 cents each, making them a must-try. This place is awesome! It offers better coffee and more custom options than Starbucks and way better donuts than Jack & Jill. There's plenty of seating, and if baked goods aren't your thing, they have breakfast burritos and other drinks too. I will definitely be back!

I'm really glad I tried out Press Cafe for breakfast in Odessa. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and fair prices. Situated in a building of a car dealership, you can easily park in the back and enjoy a delightful meal. The Chick sandwich was impressive, featuring two sizable pieces of chicken, a generous pile of bacon, avocado, tomato, cheese, and their signature Press sauce. The accompanying portion of shoestring fries was large and delicious. The quality of the food was evident with every bite. The staff were incredibly nice, and the interior was clean and welcoming. Their coffee and pastries looked amazing as well, adding to the overall charm. Overall, it was an amazing experience! The young staff were surprisingly polite and helpful. The restaurant's cleanliness and beautiful presentation of food, even down to a simple PBJ for the little ones, was commendable. Stopped in for a quick bite with excellent service and kind staff. The sampler salad was fresh, with crisp lettuce. My friend's breakfast was more than they could finish, and the portions were generous and tasty. The location might be interesting, but it’s a refreshing change from the usual Midland fare. Although it was busy with minimal seating, the experience was worth it. While the pimento cheese dip was a tad dry, the trio salad—consisting of chicken salad, pasta, and wedge salad—was tasty, with the pasta salad standing out the most. The Southwest Cobb was just okay, but considering the 100° temperature outside, it was a nice light option. Give Press a try; it’s definitely worth seeking out.

What a cute place for a date or a meet-up with friends and family! Cafe de Luna offers plenty of seating and a variety of drinks and food options. We stumbled upon this place by accident, and I'm glad we did. Their OG waffles were fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a delicious flavor. The fruit toppings were thinly sliced but plentiful, making every bite perfect. I tried the peachy peach drink, and my husband had the blueberry smoothie; both were delicious. We also returned later to try their horchata milk tea with coconut—recommended by an employee—and it was a hit. The cafe is clean, has a great atmosphere, and even offers board games if you have the time to play. I was also delighted to find a cute pair of kitty earrings for our daughter. The service is friendly, and everyone is nice. They even have couches and Pokémon playing on the TV, adding to the fun vibe. It's a great place for leisurely meals, study groups, or just hanging out. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to friends.

Oh, have I really never left a review for Cafe San Blas? Judging by my photos, it’s clear I’ve been there countless times! This little gem serves up authentic Mexican dishes that keep me coming back. The place may be small, but it's full of talented cooks whipping up fresh, delicious food. From drinks to smoothies and fresh orange juice, everything tastes amazing. And don’t get me started on the oatmeal (avena)—yummy! My favorite dishes are the rajas con crema and huevo con chorizo. Absolute perfection! I’ve also tried the chilaquiles, and they were super tasty too. The service is pretty standard, but it does get busy quickly. We found this spot through Google, and what a wonderful experience it was from start to finish. The service, especially from Belinda (I hope I got her name right), was incredibly friendly and sweet. Another girl at checkout was also very kind. The food is made from scratch and truly authentic. I wish I had taken pictures, but we couldn’t wait to dig in as soon as the plates hit the table. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t regret it—you’ll definitely want to return! The atmosphere is neat and cozy. I did have one less-than-perfect experience with the fideo con pollo; the chicken took away from the flavor. I wouldn’t order that again. My husband had the chilaquiles and nopales with egg, and he loved it. The hot chocolate was fantastic. Our tortillas arrived quickly, but my soup took longer, leaving the tortillas cold. They reheated them for me, but they came back with some red stuff on them. Our server said it was probably from the grill, which wasn’t ideal. My husband mentioned it, but the server just shrugged it off. Despite that, everything else was great. Even with the hiccup, I think breakfast here is outstanding. Give it a shot!

Today was my first visit after church, and the discada tacos were a highlight, especially with their flavorful salsas that add a great kick. The sopapillas for dessert were super delicious as well. The staff is amazing, and the service never disappoints. The Al Pastor tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays have awesome flavor. Every visit has come with excellent customer service, and the quick turnaround for both dining in and online orders is a big plus. The charro beans are so good they could be a meal on their own. We visited Flipped Breakfast & Brunch for breakfast in Odessa, arriving about 30 minutes before closing. While our waitress seemed a bit rushed, it didn't overshadow my love for this restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the pumpkin pecan waffles on the fall menu are a must-try! The place was quite busy, and we had to wait 40 minutes for a table, but that just speaks to its popularity. While the wait time for food felt long, the deliciousness of the meal more than made up for it. The Colorado Jack and French toast are my favorites and are consistently amazing. Over the years, I've always found the staff to be friendly and approachable, which adds to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a wonderful spot for family get-togethers, although large groups might need to be split up due to seating arrangements. Despite that, the food is worth every visit, and I always look forward to supporting this beloved local business.

I'm a huge fan of Jason's Deli, and my recent breakfast visit to the Odessa location was mostly positive, though there were a couple of hiccups. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is usually top-notch, which keeps me coming back. The staff is friendly, and the place is always clean. I appreciate how they continually restock the salad bar and offer a great variety of healthy options. During this visit, my server was helpful and recommended the Texas Spud, which sounded amazing. However, the potato skin turned out to be a bit too tough for my liking, like it had been baked earlier and left to sit. This was unusual for my experiences at Jason's Deli, as their food is typically on point. The minor issue with the potato didn't overshadow the positives, though. I'm a regular here for a reason—the prices are reasonable, and there's a lot to enjoy. One concern I feel is important to mention was a hygiene issue I noticed. An employee was snacking on a strawberry from the line, licking her fingers while wearing gloves, and then handling food without changing gloves. I did bring it to the attention of other staff members, but it seemed to go unaddressed, which was disappointing. Overall, Jason's Deli remains a great spot for a healthy meal, and despite the minor setbacks, I'll continue to recommend it to others.

The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to a great experience. I appreciated how helpful they were, making sure everything was to my liking. The salsas were mild but had a nice taste, perfect for those who don’t want too much spice in the morning. All in all, the breakfast was satisfying, and I left with a happy stomach. Lucy's Cafe is a fantastic spot for breakfast in Odessa! The food is excellent and truly a local favorite. I've been there twice for breakfast and lunch, and both times were amazing. While I still haven't found a Mexican menudo that matches my grandma's or mother-in-law's, the offerings here are delicious. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, which sets the tone for the authentic Mexican meal ahead. The servings are generous, and the service is outstanding. It's a bit small, but that adds to its charm. I absolutely loved it, and the prices are great too. I had the Huevos Rancheros with chunks of beef, and it was so tender. The red sauce had a nice kick to it. It's a hidden gem, and I don't think many non-Hispanic people know about it. While the waitresses have limited English, it didn't affect the wonderful experience. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I've faced issues like uncooked chicken and missing items in my orders. On two occasions, my taco plate didn't have any meat, and I only got two tacos instead of three. The prices don't match the poor quality and quantity anymore. I paid around $60 for two fajita plates, only to find a small portion that felt like it was being rationed. The flour tortillas were stale and cold, and the taco meat had way too many vegetables, including bell peppers and possibly potatoes. The chips tasted like they were fried in stale oil. The chicken enchiladas were the only highlight, but overall, it was not the usual Rosa's experience.

Their pizza outshines the competition down the street, and the burgers are simply amazing. The chicken fried steak is the best I’ve had in Odessa. I recommend eating there for the freshest experience, but ordering to-go works too. As a truck driver, I appreciate a hearty, home-cooked meal, and Rustic Café delivers just that. The menu offers comfort food that hits the spot, with prompt and attentive service. I’ve tried several dishes here; the brisket queso is good, though the sweet BBQ sauce can be a bit overpowering. The biscuits with sausage gravy are incredibly delicious. While I’ve enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger and chicken fried steak, my favorite remains the chopped sirloin with brown gravy and sautéed onions. Their hand-battered onion rings and mac & cheese are standout sides. The ranch potatoes weren’t my favorite, but others at the table enjoyed them. Between waffles and pancakes, I prefer the waffles, especially since Rustic serves their syrup hot, which is a nice touch. The omelet was delightful, with wonderfully fluffy eggs. On a particular visit, I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, paired with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. For appetizers, I tried the boneless BBQ wings and brisket queso. For dessert, I indulged in an Oreo shake that was sweet and amazing. While the food quality was decent, it didn’t completely blow me away, but the convenience of ordering online was a plus. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, both inside and out, and the staff is friendly. Rustic Café remains a favorite spot for delicious, reliable comfort food.

The food at Los Caporales Mexican Restaurant in Odessa was really good. I tried the beef fajitas gorditas, pork chop, and chicharron gordita, and each dish was delicious. The chips and salsa were amazing, with the salsa being quite hot but very addictive! The service was great, even though there was only one waitress handling everything. She gave us perfect service. It was a nice touch that the owner thanked us for choosing Los Caporales when we were seated. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. While the caldo de res was mostly water with minimal ingredients, the torta and gordita were fab, and the taco was tasty, though the tortilla could have been a bit crispier and warmer. I wasn't a fan of the red enchilada because the sauce was too thick. Despite a few issues, I would definitely go back. The waitress was friendly but could have been more attentive, as we had to wait for salsa and drink refills. Overall, it was a positive dining experience.

After attending a church service, a group of us decided to have breakfast at Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory in Odessa. Although we encountered a few hiccups with our orders, the staff was incredibly kind and quick to fix any mistakes. This was the first time we experienced any issues, having eaten there for the past three years during the Highly Favored Ladies Conference without a hitch. Despite the initial mix-ups, I was impressed by how quickly our food came out—less than three minutes! The food itself was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Our cashier was friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I also want to give a special shoutout to the manager, Yvonne. When I had an issue with a different Rosa’s location forgetting my drinks, she went above and beyond to make it right, even though it wasn’t her store's responsibility. Overall, I highly recommend this location for their outstanding customer service and tasty meals. They truly care about their customers and make sure you leave satisfied.

I visited The Meltdown for breakfast in Odessa, and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The food, while a bit greasy, was delicious and visually appealing. The mix of tastes, colors, and aromas was delightful and sure to be enjoyed by anyone trying it. Although it's just part of the Denny's chain and nothing extraordinary, it's not terrible either. There weren't many people there, just my sister and me, which made the atmosphere peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable for a lunch outing. It’s not a full-fledged restaurant, but it offers a nice spot for a laid-back meal.

Chick-fil-A in Odessa is my go-to spot for breakfast and other meals, especially when I'm not feeling my best. Their chicken noodle soup is my comfort food, and I can't get enough of the market salad without blue cheese, paired perfectly with apple cider dressing. Recently, my husband brought home their macaroni and cheese with bacon, and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit pleasant. However, I've noticed a couple of concerns during my visits. After 5 PM, the same two young ladies are always outside, and they seem overworked, as one of them looked like she was about to pass out. When I asked her if they get switched out, she mentioned they’re supposed to every hour. Also, once I saw a young girl trip, and no one checked on her, so I made sure she was okay and gave her some money to get a drink. It seems like the evening staff could use better support from management to ensure their well-being. Overall, while I love the food and the team is generally great, a bit more attention to staff welfare, especially in the evenings, would make Chick-fil-A in Odessa even better.

I visited the Whataburger in Odessa for breakfast, and overall, it was a decent experience. The young lady at the drive-thru was sweet and seemed to be a new employee, which was a nice touch. The food was good and arrived after a short wait, even though it wasn't busy at the time. This location can be a bit hit or miss, but this visit was on the positive side. I decided to try the new WhataWings, which I had heard good things about. Although they initially came out dry when I asked for them to be sauced with Buffalo, the staff did try to accommodate my request after I mentioned it. Despite the minor hiccup, the wings tasted good after a bit of adjustment on my part. I also ordered an egg and potato taquito, which unfortunately came without the egg, but I understand that mistakes happen. The guy taking my order was a bit rushed, which seemed to reflect the pace of the overall order-taking process. In the end, the food was tasty, and the service, while not perfect, was friendly. This visit was a good one, and I'll likely be back to see how they improve over time.
