Sweet Tee's Coffee Shop is a true gem in Olathe! From the moment I walked in, the fun and cozy atmosphere welcomed me. The London Fog was absolutely delicious, and the staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. Although I found the lemon lavender scone a bit too sweet for my tastes, their tea selection more than made up for it. I'll definitely be ordering online for pick-up next time, as I've always had great service here. It's my wife's favorite spot, and I can see why—she loves the coffee and the vibe, and I appreciate the reasonable prices. There's always a buzz of people, yet the staff handles the lines efficiently with smiles and helpful attitudes. The seating options are great, with cozy nooks to chat with friends and a large table perfect for groups. The unique decor adds a special touch to the experience. Hosting my daughter's baby shower in their charming Tea Room was a fantastic decision. The staff, particularly Camryn, did an outstanding job, making sure everything went smoothly so I could enjoy the day. The catered scones and cookies were a hit, and the room’s charm left a lasting impression on our guests. Sweet Tee's also impresses with their selection of gluten-free and vegan treats. The Strawberry and Cream scone and vanilla latte were delightful. With great prices, delicious pastries, and a kind staff, Sweet Tee's is definitely worth a visit. Supporting this local treasure is always a good decision!

From the moment I walked into Romeito Cuban Restaurant for breakfast in Olathe, I felt welcomed by the super friendly staff. Despite dining alone, I received attentive service, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Mojitos came recommended from a review I read, and they did not disappoint - absolutely fantastic! The bread was fresh, hot, and crispy, adding to the delicious start of the meal. I ordered the lechon asado, which was perfectly juicy and full of flavor, complemented by extra sweet plantains – my favorite! For dessert, I tried the tres leches, and although I prefer mine a bit more soaked, it was still delicious, and I savored every bite. Every dish I've tried here has been fantastic, reminiscent of authentic Cuban flavors I love, similar to what I find in Miami. Despite the change in complimentary bread service and a surcharge for debit/credit card use, the restaurant continues to impress with excellent service and a wide range of Cuban food options. My second visit was as great as the first, with flavorful dishes like the Ropa Vieja and Bistec de Pollo with chimichurri sauce. The Florida Pina Colada felt like a dessert in itself, and the churros were delightful. Overall, it's a gem in the KC metro area and my favorite restaurant in the region. Highly recommend it for anyone in search of amazing Cuban cuisine!

First Watch in Olathe is a fantastic spot for breakfast and brunch. I stopped by on a weekday, and there was no line, which was a nice surprise. The menu is packed with fresh takes on breakfast classics, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious and made with fresh ingredients. They have a large menu, but each dish is a hit. The service was stellar. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, even bringing us a sampler of their juices since it was our first time there. I ended up taking one to go because they were so tasty! The portions are huge, and the food is top-notch in quality. We were seated quickly, and despite being busy, the staff never made us feel rushed. The presentation of the food was wonderful, and everything looked as good as it tasted. If you're looking for one of the best breakfast spots around, I highly recommend checking out First Watch in Olathe.

I finally decided to give Old 56 Family Restaurant a try for breakfast, and I'm so glad I did. Jamie was our waitress, and she was super friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I ordered the breakfast special with kabasa served over country potatoes, two over easy eggs, and toast for just $10. The dish was delicious, with peppers and onions adding a great touch. My stomach was definitely happy! My friend tried the lunch special, which was a pork steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and it looked amazing. I had been hesitant to visit because the place always seemed packed, but today, being my day off, I decided to go for it. The inside was much bigger than I expected, and I shouldn't have waited so long to try it out. They have all the basic breakfast options, and I also tried the French toast, which was fluffy and tasty. The service was friendly, exactly what you'd expect from a diner. The place was clean, and my short stack of French toast was served fresh and hot. The server kept my coffee cup full without me even having to ask, which was great. The biscuits were fluffy, and while I prefer a bit more spice in my country gravy, the pancakes were incredible. The real old diner atmosphere and consistently great service will definitely bring me back to this spot whenever I'm in the area.

The flavors were spot on, and the presentation was equally appealing. I even picked up their cookbook because I enjoyed the food so much. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Olathe is my go-to spot for a satisfying meal, especially during the holidays and my birthday. The breakfast there is amazing, and their steak is second to none; they cook it perfectly well-done just how I like it, without any fuss, unlike other places. I can't get enough of the yummy garlic butter they add on top. The food overall is fantastic. The chicken is crispy, the apples are perfect, and the mac and cheese is flavorful. The new additions to the menu, like the sugar plum tea and chicken fried turkey, are delightful. The biscuits and cornbread are always a highlight. Our waiter, Carter, was incredible—patient and attentive—and really made our visit special. Unfortunately, the manager seemed to ignore us, but Carter more than made up for it with his excellent service. The gift shop is a fun bonus, full of interesting finds. Prices are reasonable too; we paid about $90 for four adults and three kids. The cozy, homey decor with the fireplace adds to the experience, especially during the holiday season. My only gripe is the outdated bathroom, which could use some attention from corporate, as it doesn't match the rest of the store's charm. Overall, Cracker Barrel is a fantastic place with great staff and food. I highly recommend it and will definitely keep coming back.

My first experience at Ginger Sue's was in Liberty about 15 years ago, so I was thrilled to find a location closer to home in Olathe. I was hoping for the same great experience, and I wasn't disappointed! Our server, Cody, was attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I tried the Hawaiian style omelette again, which combines ham, pineapple, cheese, and a touch of toasted coconut. It was just as delicious as I remembered. Watching my sodium intake, I appreciated being able to request the seasoned potatoes without seasoning, and they were still great. The biscuit was a standout—possibly the best I've ever had. Even my sweetheart, John, who usually doesn't like biscuits, agreed it was amazing. The portions were generous, and I even had leftovers to take home, which reheated well. The pumpkin spice latte was another highlight, with a generous serving size and just the right balance of sweetness and spice. It had a wonderful coffee flavor without being overly syrupy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is light and cheerful, making it a pleasant spot for breakfast. Overall, the food was wonderful and clearly made with care. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and Cody's service was top-notch. If we lived closer, we'd be regulars for sure. With other locations nearby, I'm excited to explore more of what Ginger Sue's has to offer. It's the best breakfast spot I've ever been to, with delicious, affordable dishes and a charming, mom-and-pop feel.

As a foodie from Los Angeles, AR's Breakfast & Brunch in Olathe truly blew me away with its incredible breakfast and brunch options. The chicken and waffles are delicious, and their breakfast skillets definitely hit the spot, although I did find the gravy a bit too thick and lumpy for my taste—it looked like mashed potatoes! But aside from that, everything else was spot on. The atmosphere was lively with music playing, and our waitress took great care of us. We only waited about 15 minutes for our food, which was hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. The place is clean, though I didn’t check out the bathrooms. I can't wait to return and try more dishes—everything sounded amazing! I highly recommend their Bloody Mary, which was perfect, and the Horchata waffle is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth. The fajita steak omelette with potatoes was phenomenal, especially with that cheese pull. The Benny with an added side of chorizo was a delight—I love adding chorizo to breakfast dishes. This is definitely my new go-to spot! The bar is adorable, and there’s good seating throughout the restaurant. Their mimosa tower was delicious too. I highly recommend this place for a solo visit or with friends and family. The staff is always attentive and friendly. Run, don’t walk, to this amazing spot! 🔥

Listen, I had my doubts when my husband brought me to Strip's Chicken in Olathe, but I was blown away. Being a picky eater, I'm rarely satisfied, but this place nailed it. The chicken was the best I've ever tasted – tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The customer service was top-notch, a solid 10/10, and the staff at the window made sure everything was spot on. I went for the hot and honey chicken sandwich, and even though it wasn't as spicy or sweet as expected, it was delicious. My wife tried the chicken nuggets, made from fresh chicken breast, not the usual processed stuff. The mac and cheese was stellar, and I'm already planning a return visit to try their cheese-drenched burger. The coleslaw was so good we grabbed extra to take home. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly, making the whole experience enjoyable. The only hiccup was the menu layout, which was a bit confusing, but the food more than made up for it. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, though a bit heavy on the pepper. Still, I would definitely eat them again. On another visit, we tried the Tenderloin Smashed Box meal, and it was massive! The tenderloin and mashed potatoes were more than enough for two, and everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. My wife loved her Tenderloin Sandwich, which was so big she had to save half for later. Overall, if you haven't tried Strip's Chicken, you're missing out. Their food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We were greeted and seated quickly, and our waiter, Brian, was friendly and helpful with our order. The food had that comforting southern feel, and the amount you get for your money is impressive. I typically enjoy Panera Bread, especially for breakfast, but the Olathe location has been a letdown. The prices are high for what you get, like paying $8 for just a piece of bread, a few tomatoes, and some avocado. Once, I spent $15 on two cups of soup and baguettes, only to receive them half-filled and cold with rock-hard baguettes. It was disappointing, and my family has decided not to go back. Additionally, they've frequently run out of basics like French baguettes and bread bowls, even early in the day. It feels like a recurring issue, and I hope they can manage their inventory better. I want to keep enjoying Panera, but this location needs some improvements.

The tall guy working the line showed patience and respect, especially while training someone, setting a great example by leading with kindness. The lady in the black shirt who cashed me out had a contagious smile and seemed to be genuinely enjoying her day, which added to the positive vibe. This Waffle House never disappoints, especially when you're looking for a reliable late-night meal. The server, a blonde curly-haired man, was exceptional and really on top of his game. It's not just about the food here—it's the whole experience. David and Cassie, in particular, turned our breakfast into something special. David worked the grill like a pro, while Cassie made sure every table was attended to with warmth and professionalism. We kicked off our meal with chocolate chip waffles, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The melted chocolate was a perfect touch. David's skill with the savory dishes was also evident. The bacon was both crispy and tender, and the sausage patties were a perfect blend of spices. The grits were a delightful surprise, creamy and smooth with just a hint of butter. Cassie's attentive service ensured everything was served hot and fresh. Overall, this Waffle House delivered an unforgettable breakfast experience, and the hardworking team deserves tons of praise and recognition for their efforts.
