Great food, great location, and great service at Rodeo Cafe! I'm coming back for sure. I recommend this place as one of the top 3 in the Inland Empire. My pancake breakfast was so good, and the ham slice with biscuits and gravy made the meal even better. We enjoyed everything. I recommend sharing a plate because it's way too much food for one person. My husband was very excited and mentioned a restaurant called the Cowgirl, saying they had the best biscuits and gravy. Needless to say, I had to try a bite when he ordered them, and they were indeed delicious. There were four of us, and we had everything from waffles to ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly. Their coffee is great as well. There was a huge crowd, and that was on a Tuesday. It's a small diner, very noisy, but the service is great, as is the food. If you're looking for something different and quiet, you have to come here. The food's great, and the service is excellent. Definitely will be back!

My first experience dining at Joanne's Cafe was truly delightful. The atmosphere instantly brought back fond memories of my childhood. The staff was exceptionally friendly, with Bobbie as our server who provided excellent service. The team's collaborative efforts were evident throughout our visit, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning to Joanne's Cafe in the future. The service and food are both excellent. I love this American diner, and it's clear why so many regulars and locals frequent it. The owner is one of the hardest-working women I know, and you can see her there daily. It's definitely my go-to spot for a bite when I'm passing through Ontario. The food was plentiful, and the service was great. My wife and I go there about four times a week, and there's never a wait with lots of parking and seating available. This place offers the best breakfast I've had in a while. I ordered the jumbo breakfast, which includes 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes, and hash browns. Everything on the plate was made to perfection and tasted delicious. I'm not in the area much, but any time I'm traveling through, I'll most likely stop at Joanne's Cafe.

I visited Rodeo Café Rancho Cucamonga for breakfast on Mother’s Day, and I was really impressed. Despite the busy day, the staff managed to seat everyone quickly without any wait. Our waitress was efficient, taking our drink orders and food choices promptly, and the food arrived in no time. Everyone, including the management, was very friendly. The food was delicious with generous portions. I found this place on Google and am so glad I did because I love supporting small businesses. The atmosphere here is laid-back with a cowboy ranch decor, featuring both tables and booths. It’s not very big inside, but it feels just right. During my visit, I tried the Tortilla Rodeo with home potatoes—absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were soft and well-seasoned, and the portions were big enough that I needed a to-go box. My friend ordered the Fajitas and enjoyed it just as much. I highly recommend Rodeo Café for anyone looking for a great meal. I’ll definitely be back and have already told my family about it. The Rodeo Burger was awesome, and my wife loved the Country Scramble, though she suggests adding an egg to make it perfect. The food blends American and Mexican flavors wonderfully. The service was impeccable, always friendly and with a smile. We even met both owners on our past visits. The restaurant is split into a family-oriented side and a bar side with big screen TVs. It's a must-visit spot! Thank you, Rodeo Café, for the great food and service!
J J Grill

JJ Grill is an excellent choice for a hearty breakfast in Ontario. This spot is a true "hole in the wall" gem with a diverse menu that caters to even the pickiest eaters. Our group tried a variety of dishes, including a bacon burger, chili fries, teriyaki chicken and fries, and a breakfast burrito. Each item was delicious, and the portions were impressively large. The service was quick, and the staff at the register and behind the grill were genuinely friendly. Their menu is expansive, covering everything from burgers and burritos to bulgogi bowls, and they whip up a mean philly steak sandwich. The hoagie bread stuffed with steak, cheese, bell peppers, and mushrooms is a must-try. Even the salad was fresh, with a tasty Italian dressing to top it off. Overall, I'd rate JJ Grill a solid 4.2 out of 5. The taste of the food deserves a 4 out of 5, with quality hitting a high 4.5. Cleanliness was decent at 3.8. The bacon breakfast burrito was good, though a bit small with more hash brown than I'd like, but the green salsa was fantastic. This place offers no frills, great prices, and super filling meals with breakfast served all day. Exactly the kind of spot that hits the mark. Highly recommend checking out JJ Grill.
Zeke's Eatin' Place

Zeke's Eatin' Place is a small, charming diner with a Western theme that's perfect for a casual dining experience. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff are incredibly friendly. I ordered the Kitchen Sink Omelet, which came with hash browns and a side of their famous biscuits & gravy. While some of my hash browns were a bit overcooked, the rest of the dish was enjoyable. The biscuits & gravy had a nice flavor, and the biscuit itself was delicious. The diner serves breakfast and lunch all day, offering a wide range of options at reasonable prices. They've added new items like chicken & waffles and fried catfish with grits, which is great to see. The service was fast, and the portions were generous. I usually head here when I’m in the mood for breakfast. It's a quiet spot with friendly and accommodating service. As a vegetarian, I appreciate having a few good options. I ordered an omelet with bell peppers, green chilies, cheese, and topped it with avocado, alongside a side of potatoes, which were a tad crispy but still good. The coffee is great, and the breakfast offerings are hearty. The country fried steak with eggs and well-done hash browns was well-seasoned and flavorful, with a hearty gravy and spicy homemade salsa. The pancakes are enormous and delicious. It's hard not to dig in before remembering to take a picture! If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely return to Zeke's for another great meal.

Finding the Iron Skillet Restaurant while visiting Ontario was a delightful surprise. The service was excellent, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast options, which are perfect for anyone who loves a hearty morning meal. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is cooked to perfection. My best friend and I often choose this spot for our last-minute breakfast dates, and it's always a treat. They’re quick to seat and serve, which is a big plus, especially when we're in a rush. Their desserts are also worth trying—big, tasty, and reasonably priced! Once, we visited on a Sunday and faced a few hiccups with our specific requests, like extra crispy potatoes and eggs over medium. We were informed that they couldn't accommodate these because things were "so busy," even though the place wasn't packed. Despite this, the food quality remained top-notch, consistent with our previous experiences. Overall, the Iron Skillet Restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, and the service is usually incredible. A special mention to Ana, our waitress on one visit, who was exceptionally nice and helpful. I highly recommend this gem for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be returning!

Corky's Kitchen & Bakery in Rancho is a favorite spot for breakfast. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, homey atmosphere. The decor is charming, like a little farm, which adds to the cozy vibe. The food tastes just like home-cooked meals, full of comforting flavors that really hit the spot. It's always clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whenever I'm craving a taste of home and a relaxed environment, this is where I love to go.
Spires Restaurant

Rogelio Deltoro
Spires Restaurant in Ontario is a cozy family spot that really stands out. It was busy when we arrived, but once seated, the experience was quite enjoyable. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, which was delicious, and would definitely recommend it. Spires feels like a mix between Denny's, Norms, and Coco's but with a more charming design. The circular layout adds to its unique charm. They offer a wide range of options, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. One standout dish is the Spires Original Beefeater. The thinly sliced roast beef with melted jack cheese on grilled Parmesan cheese bread is a must-try. The meat is perfect, though the bread could have a bit more of a Parmesan punch. The thick fries that come with it make a great pairing. The atmosphere was mellow and clean, with attentive staff who were quick to apologize and fix any mix-ups. The restaurant offers great specials, especially for seniors, and has a tempting selection of desserts. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking and close to the Ontario Convention Center and nearby hotels. Overall, Spires offers a warm, welcoming vibe with good food and great service. Despite a few minor hiccups, it's a place I'd definitely visit again.
Brandon's Diner

At 8:30 a.m., I walked into Brandon's Diner and was seated immediately, which was a great start to my breakfast experience. The service here is truly outstanding; the staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. I've been lucky enough to have breakfast here twice, and the service has consistently been a highlight. For food, we ordered a Western Cheese Burger, Pancakes with Eggs and Bacon, and Hash Browns with Eggs. The portions were huge, which is always a plus, and the food was decent – pretty standard diner fare. I also tried the hard shell tacos, which were okay. One issue I noticed was that the menus were sticky, which wasn’t pleasant to handle, and our booth had a bit of an odd smell. While the cleanliness could use some attention, the waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently. During a past visit to the diner’s buffet, we had a great experience and enjoyed the classic diner food as well as some authentic options. However, on a different occasion, our seating wasn't ideal, and we experienced a wait before getting service at the buffet. Some of the buffet items like the enchiladas and menudo weren't hot enough, which was disappointing. Overall, the food at Brandon's Diner is alright, but their service and the welcoming environment make it worth a visit. Just a little more focus on cleanliness and ensuring the food is served hot would elevate the dining experience. I would recommend it for the friendly service and ample portions.
Avocado Burger
1480 S Haven Ave, Ontario

Josué Wallace
After a small hike in the neighborhood, I drove into Avocado Burger for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast burrito and chili cheese fries were excellent and provided at a nominal price. The quick service and open kitchen add to the experience, letting you see how your food is prepared. The decor is attractive, and the place is conveniently located near ONT airport. While the place could use some cleaning, and the signs are a bit faded, the staff were friendly and efficient, handling our order quickly despite being busy. The kids enjoyed the avocado, though the burgers were a bit overcooked. Among the Mexican food options, my wet ground beef burrito was particularly good. Though the chocolate peanut butter shake wasn’t to our taste, staff were accommodating and replaced it with a strawberry shake. The drink choices are unique, with RC Cola and diet Dr Pepper available. Overall, the portions are generous, and the service is solid. Despite the minor drawbacks like the ambience and some menu items, I’d definitely consider stopping by again, especially for the excellent Mexican dishes.
Denny's

Whenever I'm traveling, I make it a point to stop at a Denny's, and I must say, this location in Ontario is the best I've visited in the entire country. The food looked exactly like the images, which isn't always the case at other spots. It was unusually clean for a Denny's, and the staff was super nice and easy to talk to. The restaurant is conveniently located right off the 10 freeway at the Milliken Ave exit with plenty of parking. We arrived on a busy Saturday night but were seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I have to give a shout out to our server, Larisha, who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. She was very organized and made sure we were well taken care of. We ordered the 'Bourbon Sirloin Dinner' and 'Chicken Fried Chicken,' both of which tasted delicious and had that authentic Denny's flavor. They were cooked to perfection. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, which is always a big plus. What stood out to me was how well the cook understood special instructions. The bacon was crisp without being burned, the hash browns were beautifully browned on the outside but soft inside, and the eggs were perfectly cooked—not damp but not overcooked either. And of course, the pancakes were as good as always. The only area where there's room for improvement is the service timing. After taking our order, the servers don't seem to check back frequently until they bring the food, so sometimes cups are empty, or utensils are missing. However, this didn't overshadow the overall experience. Our waiter did an exceptional job despite being the only server in the entire place. He provided great service to our entire group and everyone else in the restaurant. It was impressive considering we were there for an event until 7 PM, with people coming and going. A big thanks to him for making our visit enjoyable. Overall, this Denny's in Ontario offers an excellent breakfast experience.
Starbucks
960 Ontario Mills Dr, Ontario

Joel Matthews
I visited a Starbucks in Ontario for breakfast, and the experience was a mixed bag. The store was clean, which is always a great start to the morning. While the staff didn't come across as particularly friendly, the drinks themselves were spot on and met expectations. However, getting the order right seems to be a consistent issue at this location. We've been here multiple times, and almost every time, there's an error with our order. For example, a simple request for a seasonal drink was mistakenly turned into a cold brew coffee. Another time, a vanilla latte came out as just coffee with steamed milk. It's frustrating when such straightforward orders go wrong repeatedly. The wait time can also be unreasonable, with one instance of waiting over 20 minutes for a drink. Despite these challenges, when the drinks are correct, they're enjoyable. However, due to the recurring mistakes, I'm considering trying Dutch or Coffee Bean for better consistency. The place could definitely use some changes in management to improve the overall experience.

The Black Bear Diner in Rancho Cucamonga is a gem for breakfast! The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food is comforting and homey, with portions so generous that next time we'll definitely share a dish. They also have delicious desserts and pastries at the front counter that are hard to resist. We were there with a group of eight, including two in their 90s, and both Courtney and the gentleman who seated us showed such patience and had smiles the whole time. It made our visit even more enjoyable. My husband and I are regulars, and we can't get enough of the food, especially their steak—it's incredible! And don't get me started on the chocolate ice cream cake, it’s delicious and definitely worth trying. Melinda, our waitress, provided outstanding service, truly the best. The food was fantastic, with the steak and pancakes cooked to perfection. Honestly, if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The service and food are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy some good food here! Peace.
Baker's Drive-Thru
5080 E 4th St, Ontario

Azteca Hamilton
When I went to Baker's Drive-Thru for breakfast in Ontario, I noticed there was one person handling both the drive-thru and front register. It took around five minutes, but then another employee came to help, and the line inside moved quickly. There's also a self-order screen to the right where you pick up your food, which seems handy, although I didn't use it. The french fries were thin, hot, and very tasty. I tried the California Chicken Club, and it was quite good, with guacamole and bacon adding nice flavors. The chicken was a bit smaller than expected, but it was still delicious. It's a sign of the times that chicken portions aren't as large as they used to be, but that's pretty standard everywhere now. One of the things I like about Baker's is their great selection. While prices have gone up, they aren't unreasonably high compared to other places. I didn't use the bathroom, but I noticed the entire place was very clean. Overall, I highly recommend Baker's. The food was tasty, and the experience was worth the money. I enjoyed the budget combo #5 and especially liked the green sauce in the cheese quesadilla, which added a nice spicy kick. It's a solid spot for a satisfying meal.
Mimi's Cafe

Cara Tanner
I visited Mimi's Cafe for breakfast in Ontario, and it was a fantastic experience. The seasonal tempura cauliflower was a highlight, absolutely delicious and satisfying. I had the hibachi salmon, which was impressive, while my husband tried the rib eye steak. The Italian breakfast crepe with vinaigrette sauce was delicious and came with healthy ingredients. The staff even split the order on two plates for us at no extra charge, which earned them a good tip. We arrived early in the morning and enjoyed a peaceful, cozy atmosphere with hardly anyone around. The staff was great, attentive, and the food was both fresh and hot. The menu offers a wide variety, with something for everyone. Although the banana and chocolate chip muffin was a bit too sweet for our taste, overall, the breakfast was wholesome and left us feeling satisfied. I highly recommend this location for a delightful dine-in breakfast experience.
IHOP

Bubby Angell
I had a genuinely positive experience at IHOP for breakfast in Ontario. The service was truly exceptional. Our server, Richard, was attentive and managed his tables efficiently despite the holiday rush, making our meal pleasant and stress-free. The food was served hot and fresh, which is always a plus. It's impressive that they managed to maintain such a high level of service with only two servers working on Christmas Day. The staff’s dedication to working on holidays so others can enjoy meals out is commendable. Overall, it was a great place to enjoy a quiet Christmas dinner with close friends when cooking at home isn't an option.

I went to Denny's in Ontario for breakfast, aiming for a small meal. I ordered a side salad and an Apple Crisp, but since they were out of the apple crisp, I switched to a skillet cookie instead. The salad was fresh, and the skillet cookie was delicious, loaded with chocolate pieces and topped with a generous scoop of ice cream. Linda was a great server, giving me the time I needed to decide on my order and checking in to see when I was ready. Service overall was good, and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a nice spot to eat. I also had the pleasure of being served by Waitress Norma, who was friendly and helpful in guiding me through the menu to get exactly what I wanted. My visit was further improved by the T-Mobile perks, which were a great bonus and not something I experienced in other locations like Apple Valley. While the food was great and the staff was friendly, the wait time was a bit long, as it seemed like they could use more personnel to manage the number of guests. Despite the wait, the staff worked hard, and I was satisfied with the overall experience. I'm hopeful that my next visit will have quicker service, but it was still a positive experience.
