Franklin's Cafe is truly a hidden gem for breakfast in Palmdale. The menu is wide and the food is consistently delicious. I've been coming here since Franklin first opened, and the quality has never wavered. Sophia deserves a shout-out for her exceptional service that goes above and beyond. Their breakfast bagels, frappes, and smoothies are particular favorites of mine. The bacon breakfast burrito and veggie burrito are savory and delicious. My personal top choice has to be the Veggie Breakfast Burrito, filled with potatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, eggs, spinach, and cheese, all wrapped in a fresh tortilla—it's incredible! Don't miss out on the Philly cheese steak or the Mexico-style hot dog, which comes loaded with everything. The carne asada burrito is also a winner. If you're looking for a hearty breakfast, the steak and eggs offer great value with a quality cut of meat. Whether you're in for breakfast or lunch, this place delivers. The staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I tried the breakfast burger with eggs, bacon, grilled onions, and fresh jalapeños, and it was super filling and delicious. Even the coffee hit the spot. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!

I stopped by Phebies Cafe for breakfast in Palmdale, and even before getting my food, I was impressed. The waitress on November 3rd was incredibly fast, handling multiple tables like a pro during a busy rush. My mom was a waitress for many years, and I have to say, she's even quicker than my mom was! The vibe here is amazing, and I totally get why people keep coming back. Even though I'm not a fan of long wait times, the excellent customer service made up for it. I had always wanted to try this place, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was great, and the service was even better. The cafe is clean, and the prices are super affordable. I'll definitely be back soon. The chicken fried steak was the best I've had in town, and the staff was attentive and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better breakfast spot. It was my first time here, and I felt so welcome and comfortable. They took our order quickly, and the food came out fast despite the crowd. Typical diner fare like pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns is priced between $10-$20 per person, with generous portions. I'll be returning for sure! Great place for breakfast!
Chick-fil-A

I had a great experience at Chick-fil-A for breakfast. I decided to drive from Lancaster to Palmdale because I've had good service there before. Even though the drive-thru line was typical and long, it moved smoothly. The worker who took my order, I think her name was Tess, recommended the strawberry frosted lemonade since I had ordered a regular one, and it was truly fantastic. My sandwich was perfectly made, the fries were delicious, and the lemonade exceeded my expectations. The employees are always polite and helpful, and the food is consistently excellent, no matter what you choose. Plus, there's plenty of free parking, and options for drive-thru and pick-up make the experience convenient. Overall, I highly recommend Chick-fil-A for breakfast.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience at The Morning Griddle Cafe in Palmdale. We were on the hunt for a breakfast spot for a date and came across this gem online due to its excellent reviews. The food was incredibly delicious, and the cozy ambiance made us feel right at home. The staff stood out with their friendliness and attentiveness, always making sure we had everything we needed. One delightful surprise was the complimentary dessert, which was exceptionally tasty. We've already decided to return, this time bringing our kids along and planning another date there too. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by both the staff and other customers, which set a positive tone for our meal. The service was top-notch, and the generous portions were cooked to perfection. The strawberry and banana crepes with Nutella were a highlight and a must-try for anyone visiting. The value for money was clear, as we received generous portions that we haven't encountered in a long time. We'll definitely be recommending The Morning Griddle Cafe to all our friends and looking forward to our next visit.
Katz-N Jammers

My husband and I visited Katz-N Jammers for breakfast on the Fourth of July, and we were lucky to arrive just before they closed. The place has a 50s nostalgia vibe, and even though I was born in the late 90s, it was really fun to experience a bit of that era through their memorabilia. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious, served quickly too. I’m eager to return and try more items on their menu. Later, I took my daughter there during the week for breakfast, and she loves a good breakfast. Katz-N Jammers did not disappoint. Our server was excellent—kind and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food came in big portions and tasted fantastic. Both times, the service was top-notch and the food was delightful. It's a classic diner with a chic feel, and I would definitely eat here again. The customer service and food are excellent, making it a wonderful experience each visit. If you’re in the Palmdale and Lancaster area, this restaurant is a must-try. Thanks for the great experience from your friends in Las Vegas, NV!

We loved this place! I was really craving waffles, and they did not disappoint. The chilaquiles I ordered were delicious too. It's such a great spot with a friendly and homely atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning. It's a clean little place perfect for breakfast. I made an egg scramble, and my cousin ordered chilaquiles—though she was a bit upset they only had red and not green. Overall, the portions were big and prices were average. The service was great, and it was my first time here, but our waitress, Norma, was amazing. If you're vegetarian, just let her know, and she'll get you what you need. I'm definitely coming back. Thanks to Norma for her wonderful service. The food was hot and well-made, and it's clear from the conversations that there are lots of regular customers, which is always a good sign.
The Village Grille

I went to The Village Grille for breakfast in Palmdale and was really impressed. The diner has an inviting atmosphere, and the staff is super friendly. The place was spotless both times I’ve been there, which is always a plus. They have a textbook diner menu with all the typical foods you’d expect. I ordered the Country Omelette, and my wife tried the Hot Sausage Skillet—both were delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were browned just right. The portions are decent, and the prices are fair, making it a great spot to grab a quick bite. The only downside might be the location, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Overall, it's the cleanliness and consistent quality of food and service that make this place a standout. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re passing through. It's a great little diner that delivers on all fronts.

Absolutely loved this adorable little place! The food at A M Cafe is amazing, and I think I've found my new favorite breakfast spot in Palmdale. The staff is super sweet and attentive, which makes each visit feel welcoming and relaxed. We'll definitely be back because the food here is just so good. Everything we've ordered from the menu has been scrumptious, leaving us with happy, full bellies. The portions are great, and they serve excellent coffee that's always hot and refilled with courtesy. We had the best, most delicious, and relaxed Father's Day brunch here. The scramble special was excellent, and the pancakes, salads, French toast, eggs, and sausages were wonderful too. We tried it all, and every dish was delivered hot and sumptuous. Our group is already excited to return to try other menu items soon. A special shoutout to the wait staff for helping us split the Father's Day meal for both of our daughters, it was much appreciated. I also loved the decor, which features charming roosters and scenes reminiscent of Joshua Tree National Park. If you haven't tried this place yet and are on the fence, give it a shot—you can thank me later!

The Original Karen's Kitchen in Palmdale is a hidden gem for breakfast! I'm usually not a sandwich person, but their sandwiches are so delicious that I find myself craving them. The bread is fresh, the meat is generous, and the dressing has a perfect tangy balance. Even though I live far from this place, I'm already planning my next visit. The service is outstanding—everyone is so friendly! Our first visit made it our go-to breakfast spot after church. The staff truly stands out with their attentiveness and kindness. While I had a mixed experience with a different location's menu on Uber Eats, the Palmdale location nailed it, especially with their tuna melt. The modern and pleasant atmosphere adds to the experience. Their biscuits and gravy are solid too, definitely worth a 4/5. Overall, not enough stars to rate how amazing this place is!
Crazy Otto's Diner
1228 W Ave I, Lancaster
(661) 940-9177
La Dalos
During my many government TDY trips, I stumbled upon Crazy Otto's Diner in Palmdale, and it was hands down the best meal I've had on the road. The service was excellent, and the portions were mind-blowing. The quality of food was top-notch, making me wish there was a Crazy Otto's in my city. This place could easily outshine Denny's and IHOP on a national scale. The diner was busy, but I was seated quickly. Prices were reasonable, and I'll definitely be back for more. While I was there, I spotted an old car in the parking lot—super cute! After traveling to Palmdale for over 30 years, I finally tried it out. I had the country fried steak and eggs, and my colleague enjoyed hash and eggs. The service was great, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and even though my country fried steak was a bit soggy, I still ate it and would come back. The portions are so large I could only manage half of mine. Love this place. The prices are good. 👍
Scramblez Grill & Bar

I had a good experience at Scramblez Grill & Bar for breakfast. They serve breakfast all day, which is a big plus for me. I ordered two pancakes with two eggs and two sausages, and everything was cooked nicely. The pancakes had those delightful crunchy edges, which I loved. I also tried a small fruit salad for a couple of dollars, which was a refreshing addition. The atmosphere was bustling, especially since it was the first day of the New Year, but the staff was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. What stood out to me was their handmade chicken fried steak, which was really impressive. If you're into Bloody Marys, theirs is one of the best I've had in a while. The food was not overly salty, which is perfect for those watching their sodium intake. My dad has high blood pressure, so this was a plus. We were allowed to relax and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed, and the coffee refills were consistent. The prices might lean towards the higher side, but for the quality and portion size, it was worth it. They could improve the flavor of their biscuits and gravy with more sausage or black pepper, but overall, it's a solid breakfast spot. If you're looking for a place with a wide breakfast selection and attentive service, give Scramblez Grill & Bar a try.
Irene's Burger Cafe

Every bite at Irene's Burger Cafe for breakfast in Palmdale is to die for! The prices are fantastic given the quality of food they serve. It's classic diner-style with some delicious twists that make it stand out. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their lovely menu items. The food is absolutely delicious, with amazing portions that are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place! The overall experience is great, with excellent food and good service. The portions are big, which is always a plus. One of the highlights of my visits is the waitress Martha. She's super welcoming and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I've been here before, and some other waitresses didn't engage much, but Martha makes a real difference. I always look forward to both the food and seeing her welcoming face when I visit. I will definitely be returning to try different items off their menu.
Denny's

Went for breakfast this morning at Denny's in Palmdale, and it was a great experience! We ordered from the Value Menu, getting the SuperSlam for $10 and the French toast for $6, with strawberries and whipped cream for an extra $1.34. The food was excellent, and Gloria, our server, was outstanding, even though it was quite busy around 10:30 am on a Saturday. This Denny's location consistently impresses with its friendly staff and cleanliness. The food is always fresh, delicious, and served just right. It's the best Denny's location I've visited in terms of service, atmosphere, and food quality. Orders are always accurate, and drinks get refilled promptly without having to wait around. The management seems to be on top of everything, making it a reliable choice for breakfast. We also tried the limited-time Beetlejuice sandwich and milkshake. The milkshake, while visually appealing, didn't fully capture the theme, but the sandwich was amazing! Although they forgot our marinara sauce, the staff's friendliness made up for it. Overall, this Denny's sets a high standard that others should aspire to.
Panera Bread

Lida Varela
I had breakfast at Panera Bread in Palmdale and it was a positive experience overall. The food was great, especially the breakfast sandwiches and homemade bread. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable, which made it a good value. I also bought salads for my work crew, and they were a hit as well. Although the atmosphere wasn't particularly vibrant, the quality of the food made up for it. I did notice that I missed out on a brownie I paid for, so make sure to double check your order. Despite that, I'm impressed with how Panera has improved over the years. Their sips program offers a nice variety of drinks, although I'd appreciate even more options. It was a bit disappointing to see some issues with cleanliness and service, but the staff, especially the cashier, was friendly and helpful. I hope they continue to expand their programs and perhaps introduce more promotions to enhance the customer experience. All in all, I've become a fan again and look forward to visiting more often.

I had a great experience at Farmer Boys in Palmdale for breakfast. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The place was clean, and I appreciated the ample parking and well-maintained restrooms. One of the highlights was the Chicken Avocado Club with the zucchini sticks, which were a real treat. Just a tip: let those zucchini sticks cool for a bit because they come out hot and crispy. My burger was a 1/3 all-natural avocado cheeseburger, and it was a good size with fresh, crisp fries on the side. Despite being a bit busy, the staff ensured my order was perfect and timely. I’ve visited several Farmer Boys locations across different states, and this one lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. It’s always a pleasure to dine here because of the consistently good food and service.
Black Bear Diner Palmdale

I had a great breakfast experience at the Black Bear Diner in Palmdale. While there were a few hiccups with the toast and coffee, the overall meal was enjoyable. Our waitress, Kat, was outstanding and made the visit pleasant. I have a soft spot for this place, especially since I delivered to the first Black Bear Diner in Shasta. It's nice to have one nearby in Palmdale for some delicious breakfast options. The menu offers a variety of tasty dishes. The country-fried steak and the country-fried steak omelet are both winners. I also tried the cinnamon roll French toast, and it was really good. It's a nice little spot to enjoy a meal, and I highly recommend trying their sweet potato fries—they're fantastic! Even though my wife and I had some issues with the toast initially, the staff was responsive to our feedback. It's clear that they care about their customers' experiences. Despite the hiccups, I'm looking forward to going back with my wife for those sweet cream pancakes and more of my favorites.

Tom's Burgers 25 in Palmdale offers an unbeatable breakfast special. For just $10, you get 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and your choice of 3 pieces of bacon or sausage, plus a coffee or small drink. It's a fantastic deal that's hard to beat with today's prices. While I usually visit the Tom's on 47 and Avenue R for their excellent service, the breakfast at this location was delightful. The food was delicious, and the prices were great. I'll definitely be back for more of their breakfast specials.

This Denny's in Palmdale is fantastic. Unlike the location in Lancaster, which leaves much to be desired, this spot is well-managed. During a busy weekend breakfast rush, the hostess with split-dyed hair was very kind and seated us within 15 minutes. Our food came out quickly and was fresh, with all our special requests perfectly met. It was our waitress's first day, and she did a great job. Despite the bustling weekend crowd, which added a slight hectic vibe, the overall experience was positive. This Denny's is always a reliable choice with great food and excellent service. My husband and I were initially hesitant to return after a previous not-so-great experience, but this visit certainly redeemed the place for us. Our server, Armando, was outstanding. He introduced us to meal options we didn’t know about and was incredibly attentive, all while wearing a big, bright smile that shone through his mask. His friendly demeanor made all the difference, and if I could, I'd give him a raise. Servers like him make dining out a pleasure. We also had a late dinner with family once and found the service equally impressive. Despite there being only one waiter, Leo, we were seated quickly. Leo was prompt, polite, and friendly, and his contagious friendliness made for an enjoyable meal. Everything we ordered was spot on, and we’ll definitely return to see Leo. Thank you, Leo, for the excellent service!

I had breakfast at Tom's Burgers 27 in Palmdale, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered eggs with toast, and everything was served hot and timely. The pancakes were fluffy and generous in size, exactly like the picture. The horchata was delicious, and the fact that they offer refills made it even better. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, making it an ideal spot for a morning meal. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I look forward to returning soon.
