Eddie's Diner is an absolute delight! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was our first visit to celebrate our daughter’s 3-month birthday, and it couldn’t have been better! The food was incredible—my wife and I both had the Baconator omelette, and it was hands down the best omelette we’ve ever had! The pancakes were out of this world—fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best we’ve tasted! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and we even had the pleasure of chatting with Lydia, the wonderful owner, who made us feel right at home. Dana, our waitress, was super sweet and attentive, making the whole experience even better with her friendly service. Eddie’s Diner is now a top spot for us! If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem for breakfast or lunch—you won’t regret it! Everything was so good. We found this place because it had 4.7 stars, which I disagree with. This place is 5 plus stars. We had a little wait because everyone knows how amazing the food is. I had the veggie Benedict and my niece had the Ruben. It was the best Benedict I’ve had. The staff was so friendly. The food was fresh. My granddaughter had silver dollar pancakes that she loved with fruit. I will definitely be coming back, and I have already told others about this place. It’s wonderful. Simply delightful. I wanted to taste classic American all-day brunch, and boy, wasn't disappointed. Good people, good vibes, good food. Forget your calorie calculations at home. Had fried chicken fillet & Belgian waffles combo and didn’t have to eat anything more until the next day. BEST WAFFLES EVER! I am not a waffle person. I'm not a huge breakfast person, but I crave these waffles after having my first one. They are not overly sweet, and they are generous with the fruit toppings that also aren't too sweet. It's the perfect tart and sweet combination. Place is usually packed, so expect to wait. The only slight downside is getting the waffle the way I like it costs $20. A little pricey when you can get a stake of pancakes for less made the same way. Still wonderful, though. I'd go more if it wasn't so expensive.

I just moved to this area and am so happy that I made it over to Benedict's Restaurant for breakfast on a slow Tuesday morning. The place might seem pretty standard for breakfast, but it really stands out. The food was good and delivered in a timely manner. We tried the smoked salmon Benedict, which was delicious. The hazelnut latte, made less sweet upon request, was well done. I ordered Joe's Special and initially worried about the prices, but once it was served, that worry vanished. The portions were extremely generous, easily enough for one and a half to two people. Everything about this dish was amazing. The beef and spinach were cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the eggs and hollandaise sauce were fantastic. The hash browns were fresh, and the sourdough toast was scrumptious. On top of that, the staff was friendly and helpful. My server assisted me in choosing between two dishes I was struggling to decide on, and it ended up being a perfect choice. I've been here a few times over the years, and the food has consistently been top-notch. It's a little pricier than some other places in the area, but worth every penny. I also have to mention their pancakes. They have the most incredible and delicious pancakes in the Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen area! The "Pecan Pancakes with sliced Bananas" are a must-try. The breakfast enchiladas were great on a previous visit, but this time I had a chorizo and scrambled egg dish that was even better. The staff and management were super friendly and attentive. This is not a diner, so don't expect diner pricing, but you will not be disappointed if you're craving an amazing breakfast!
Red Truck Cafe

On my first visit to Red Truck Cafe for breakfast in Plano, I had a great experience despite a small hiccup with my order. The waitress was quick to correct it and was very friendly and helpful throughout my meal. The food was delicious, and I got to try both the incorrect order and my original choice, along with my partner's dish, and everything was fresh and tasty. The cafe has a cool vibe with a diner and dive feel, and the red truck theme adds a charming touch. The place is clean and well-maintained, and they even had bingo going on in one part of the restaurant. The food we ordered was amazing, especially the Blackened Shrimp Cheese Grit and Red Truck FM Skillet, which I highly recommend. The prices were reasonable, particularly given the large portions. Each dish was around $11-12, which felt like a bargain for the quality and quantity. For those with kids, the red truck theme makes it a fun spot. I think adding sprinkles to the kids' rainbow pancakes would be a fun touch. Highlights for me were the Red Truck Scramble and the fluffy, soft pancakes. The biscuit was also nice and fluffy, and the English muffin was perfectly crispy. Overall, I'm looking forward to returning to try more items on their menu. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was served promptly. Red Truck Cafe is definitely a spot worth visiting for a hearty and enjoyable breakfast.

It's been a while since I last visited The House Cafe in Plano, but boy, am I glad I returned! This place was a staple for me on Sundays after church, and after all these years, it still feels like home. The Liver & Onions are a standout, truly melt-in-your-mouth with impeccable seasoning and cooked perfectly. Plus, you get to enjoy them with up to three sides, which is fantastic value. The breakfast lineup is classic and satisfying. The pancakes are fluffy and delightful, while the eggs and bacon are just as they should be—cooked perfectly. Their biscuits with white gravy are a rare find, with the perfect texture and flavor. I also tried the beef fajita omelet with country potatoes, which didn't disappoint. The Hamburger Steak could use a bit more seasoning, but overall, it was decent. The Double Cheeseburger was a pleasant surprise, with juicy patties and crisp lettuce, accompanied by tasty fries. The staff at The House Cafe are awesome—super attentive and friendly. They made sure my drink was always full, which I appreciated. This is a great place for anyone craving a homestyle meal without breaking the bank. Just make sure to get there before they start cleaning up around 1:30. I haven't tried the desserts yet, but that's just another reason to come back soon!
Brunch Time

I love Brunch Time! The food is fantastic, with a creative menu and great coffee. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I was on the hunt for a place that was open before 11:00 AM, not too noisy, and had excellent food. Brunch Time fit the bill perfectly for my friend and me, who drove over an hour from different directions to meet up. On my second visit, it was busy over the weekend, and I ended up at the bar, which turned out fine. Their grilled mushroom veggie panini with French fries is my go-to, and the freshly squeezed orange juice is a standout. I do wish they offered more vegetarian options, though. Both the Southwest Skillet with brisket and the Meat Lovers Omelette were delicious and generously portioned. The biscuits were a highlight, slightly sweet and perfect with strawberry jam. Service is friendly, and everything comes out fresh and hot. I'm pleased to have another great breakfast and lunch cafe nearby, and I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant breakfast experience in Plano!

Lily's Cafe has quickly become my favorite spot for breakfast in Plano. This charming restaurant serves fresh Guatemalan and other Latin dishes that are simply delicious. On my first visit, I was impressed by how clean the kitchen looked, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The transformation of the decor is remarkable, shifting from dark-brown to bright Guatemalan colors of white and blue, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. The food remains consistently great, offering a refreshing twist on your favorite Mexican dishes. One standout for me was the agua fresca, bursting with real pineapple flavor – a delightful change from the usual powder mixes. I haven't had a chance to try their mixed drinks yet, but the variety looks tempting for a future visit. Overall, Lily's Cafe is worth the visit. It's a hidden gem with amazing food and a warm vibe that makes you feel at home. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a flavorful breakfast experience.
Scrambler Cafe

Today, I visited Scrambler Cafe in Plano with some friends, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly, and our food arrived without any delay. Everything tasted warm, fresh, and delicious, with no mistakes in our order. This location stands out as the best I've visited, and I plan to be a regular every time I'm in Dallas. After taking my wife to get her Texas license, we stopped here, and I was impressed. While the omelet and grits could use a bit more garnish or better presentation, they were still tasty. The cinnamon roll pancakes were a highlight and are highly recommended if you're in the area. The Smoked Salmon Benny was a memorable experience. The chef was generous with the salmon, and the Hollandaise sauce was perfect. We requested firm yolks, and they were cooked just right. The Tuscan Scrambler offered a unique take on scrambled eggs with its veggies and Kalamata olives. While the coffee was decent, the espresso could have been stronger and warmer. The service was generally excellent, although I noticed some torn upholstery, which seemed unnecessary when other seats were available. The staff, especially our waitress Yoya, were wonderful. They went out of their way to accommodate our need for a fast breakfast. The hostesses were also very welcoming. Despite the busy morning, our meal arrived quickly, and everything was cooked perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return.

Over the weekend, I had the chance to eat at Texas Cafe twice, and it completely won us over! On Saturday, I went with some friends, and we all couldn't wait to try their menu. We ordered steak and eggs, the traditional, and chicken fried steak. Each dish was cooked perfectly and came in generous portions. But the real standout was the steak skillet – it was amazing! Not stopping there, I returned on Sunday with my family to share this gem. They were just as impressed with the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is down-to-earth and personally greets everyone, adding a nice personal touch. The service was top-notch, making us feel right at home, and knowing everything is halal made it even better, so we could relax and enjoy our meals. We're officially hooked on Texas Cafe! For amazing food and a welcoming vibe, this place is a must-visit. After a great breakfast, my family and I headed back to San Antonio, grateful for this stop. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I requested a wrap with mushrooms instead of meat, and they happily obliged. The wrap was delicious, and my family agreed the food was fantastic. Whenever we visit again, Texas Cafe will be on our list. I highly recommend stopping by – you won't regret it. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is just right. I tried their country skillet, and it was good! The prices are reasonable, and the service is great. I'll definitely be back for breakfast.
The Original Pancake House

We had the most delightful brunch at The Original Pancake House in Plano. We ordered the Western and Spinach/Mushroom Omelettes and a short stack of Pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. Despite being the only customers left as they approached closing time, the serving staff was incredibly patient. The restaurant is well-lit and nicely decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, especially the Dutch baby, which arrived hot and fresh. Our waitress was great, but the real star was the manager, Maria. She went above and beyond to make our experience special, helping my dad with his meal due to his limited hand mobility, refilling our drinks, and even opening the door for us when we left. Her kindness was truly appreciated. After passing this place for three years, I'm thrilled I finally stopped. The coffee is excellent, making it my new morning stop at 6:45 AM. The Belgium waffles had generous portions, and I couldn't finish it all. The crepes were paper-thin, perfect with maple syrup. The biscuits were buttery and light, and the chicken sausages were juicy, surpassing any I've had before. The freshly squeezed orange juice was sweet and full of pulp, which I loved, but be sure to ask for it strained if you prefer. The pecans on the maple banana pecan French toast reminded me of delicious fair treats—sweet, nutty, and amazing! Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with everything. Just make sure to reserve a spot early or be prepared for a wait. I can't wait to return!

First Watch in Plano is a fantastic brunch spot that I absolutely love. I tried the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy, and it was one of the best sausage gravies I've had. The side potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our server, Gustavo, was amazing—very attentive and personable. He answered all our questions with personal insight, which I call 6-star service. The atmosphere has a farmhouse theater set vibe, which isn't my style, but it doesn't take away from the experience. We've been coming here since 2021 and consistently have a great experience. I enjoy their seasonal menu and drinks. The servers are always friendly and attentive, and the place is always clean. It's a bit small but never feels crowded. Highly recommend! The bacon omelette and lemon ricotta pancakes are particularly tasty! It's a cozy breakfast place that's always busy but incredibly well-serviced. I also recommend trying the morning meditation juice—it's delicious and refreshing. I ordered the Tri-Athlete, and I was very satisfied with the freshness and portion size.

AMAZING!!!! The food was SO good! I ordered the pumpkin pancakes with eggs and bacon. The eggs were soft, bacon cooked to perfection, and pancakes were to die for! Service was amazing as well. There was a little mishap with my order, and the manager was prompt in fixing the issue. Definitely will be coming back! My friend and I visited The Original Pancake House at Granite Parkway for breakfast on August 7, 2024. The entire dining experience was phenomenal and way above standard for a restaurant, especially during its busy hours. We were greeted by Carlos and seated right away. We had an amazing, friendly, and helpful waitress named Susan, who answered our menu questions. Not only did one manager, Carlos, check on us, but another manager named Tiffany did as well. The food was outstanding, and with over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I highly recommend The Original Pancake House at Granite Parkway! 5+++ stars. This place exceeded all my expectations. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. I had the healthy lifestyle egg white omelet, which was so light and fluffy—the best I've ever had! My husband had the breakfast tacos, which were delicious. The potatoes were cooked perfectly—not greasy or extra crispy. The pancakes were amazing, light, and flavorful. Highly recommend! Even the music playing was perfect! Such a great find. I really enjoyed my time here today. José was excellent at what he does, and his decorum spoke volumes. You could tell he was easygoing and addressed our questions with ease. Vinny stopped by and checked on us as well, and she was very pleasant. I had an omelet and pancakes and loved every bite!

Superb! I placed a pick-up order at Le Peep Grill of Plano, and it was both fast and delicious! The atmosphere was really nice when I went to pick up, and the staff was friendly. This is a solid breakfast spot with great gluten-free options, including waffles, pancakes, English muffins, and hash browns. The food has a comforting, home-style quality that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend the gluten-free dollar-size pancakes! The service was friendly, though a bit forgetful at times. The only downside was the coffee, which tasted burnt, as if it had been sitting too long. Despite this, it's an excellent spot for breakfast or brunch. I didn't have to wait long to be seated, even though it was quite busy, and the food was ready soon after ordering. Both the omelet and pancakes were delicious. Since I work next door, I order takeout a few times a week, and this place never fails to deliver on quality, portion sizes, or deliciousness. Highly recommend them! ❤️

Norma's Cafe in Plano is a fantastic spot for breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and macaroni and cheese, and everything was delicious. The service was impressively fast, and our waitress was super friendly, which made the experience even better. The restaurant and restroom were both clean, which is always a plus. I was impressed by the great selection of pies, and the cornbread and rolls were fresh and tasty. This was my first visit to this location, and I was very pleased. We went early Sunday morning, and luckily, there was no wait. They seated our party of 10 right away. The food looked and tasted amazing! The French toast and chicken were surprisingly huge, so definitely come with an appetite. I also enjoyed a caramel latte that really hit the spot. Everyone in our group, including the kids, loved their meals. We had a delicious brunch with friends, and despite the place being full, the service was good, and the food came out quickly. The portions are generous, making it easy to take some home. Even the kids' portions were large enough to share. This was my first visit, and our server, Alejandra, was attentive even with several tables to manage. I tried the poutine with extra toast and an oatmeal bowl with fruit, all of which were fresh and delicious. I'm already excited to come back and try their chicken and waffles. This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast or brunch. My husband and I shared a savory dish of sausage, chicken tenders, and waffles, and it was fantastic. The staff was polite, and our server recommended the dish, providing excellent service. I'm looking forward to trying something new next time.

I tried La Madeleine in Plano for breakfast and had a great experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in the decor. The food was warm and fresh, and the service was quick, which was perfect for a busy morning. I enjoyed the sampler and an entree with soup and salad. Although the menu was a bit limited, everything was made fresh to order, and the quality was noticeable. The setup is convenient, allowing you to pick your food in a cafeteria-style line and then seat yourself, ensuring a quick and efficient dining experience. There’s plenty of seating, so it never felt crowded or too noisy. I appreciated the available bread service, even though it's not self-serve anymore, and they provided butter and preserves, which was a nice touch. I was a bit disappointed with the coffee temperature, but they were quick to replace it with a fresh pot when I asked, which was appreciated. Prices have gone up a bit, but that's expected with 2024 pricing, and it's still a reasonable place to grab a meal. The space was clean and bright, adding to the overall positive vibe. Though I didn't get to try the desserts on this visit, they looked tempting, and I'll definitely return to sample them. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a warm and quick dining option with a touch of charm. I'll definitely be back!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Plano is an awesome spot for breakfast. We had an amazing time on Father's Day and felt so welcomed by the staff. The strawberry shortcake pancakes, avocado toast, and breakfast tacos were all delicious. I particularly loved the shrimp and grits and the strong lavender latte. The place has a cute interior, and the blueberry pancakes were enormous—I couldn't finish them all! The matcha latte was a treat too. The barbacoa Benedict is insanely good; it's a must-try. And the tacos? Loaded, creamy, and just perfect. A tip: download the app to join the waitlist remotely—it saved us from waiting an hour. My only wish is for meal combos instead of ordering everything separately. Overall, this place is super fun with great food, and I’ll definitely be back soon! Come hungry and get ready to be stuffed.

I took my mom to Honey Berry Pancakes & Cafe in Plano for brunch, and it was a great experience overall! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, just right for a weekend outing. The service was fantastic - our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. My iced latte was a highlight; honestly, one of the best I've had in a while. I ordered the Homestyle Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were spot-on, and everything was cooked perfectly. While the grits were a bit bland for my taste, everything else was spot on. The TexMex omelette was good, and the pancakes were a standout - buttery and sweet. There's also a good selection of mimosas and other drinks to liven up the morning. The ambiance added to the experience, with charming decor and a nice patio seating option. The staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our meal. All in all, Honey Berry Pancakes & Cafe is a great spot for brunch with excellent service and some standout dishes. Highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience, though I'd skip the grits next time!
