I had breakfast at Wish You Were Here Coffee Roasters in Pomona, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is fantastic—perfect for mornings with its upbeat and hipster vibe. The staff, though few, are incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a small delay in placing my order due to the limited staff, but they handled everything with efficiency and warmth. I appreciated how a staff member quickly addressed a missed order and even offered the item for free. Now, let's talk about the coffee and food—both were top-notch. I'm a huge fan of their hot latte; it's one of my favorites. This time, I also tried the flat white and the bourbon caramel latte, both of which were amazing. We went all out for brunch with avocado toast and chilaquiles, and everything was delightful. The chilaquiles were tasty and well-balanced, though I wouldn't mind a bit more spice. Additionally, the Oaxacan mocha and matcha were well made, and the blood orange tea was refreshing. The place is perfect for a wholesome family outing, catching up with friends, or even a casual date. It's a wonderful spot, and I genuinely look forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. I just wish they were open longer because it's such a nice place to hang out and study!

I absolutely love this charming coffee shop! Situated by the train tracks, the name "Rail Side Cafe" is a perfect fit. The service is incredibly friendly, and both the drinks and breakfast options are delicious. The spacious outdoor patio offers a relaxing spot to enjoy a latte while taking in the fresh air. Overall, it was a delightful experience. This is my favorite local cafe to escape to. Nestled near the railroad tracks in old town San Dimas, I feel like I'm transported to a little Parisian sidewalk cafe each time I visit. Happy yellow umbrellas highlight the black iron tables spread amongst the patio. Games like Connect 4 and Jenga are available to keep the kids of all ages busy. California Pepper Trees provide beauty and shade, and the soft music coming from the cafe really adds to the peaceful ambiance. This is my favorite place to grab breakfast or brunch and read under the trees. In addition to the fabulous atmosphere, the food is excellent. Today, I had a Nutty Berlin bagel with a fruit bowl, fresh OJ, and a decaf vanilla latte. I usually get one of the savory breakfast croissants or a panini. The orange juice is always fresh squeezed and self-serve in a vintage red mini fridge. I have yet to taste a sour glass. The bagel was perfect with creamy peanut butter topped with fresh strawberries and just a kiss of powdered sugar. The fruit bowl is always refreshing with berries, oranges, and crisp cucumbers. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is the kind of place that I love so much, but I almost don't want to tell anyone about it because then they'll know where I go when I just need a break. Lol. It's my happy little retreat. Great cafe in San Dimas. The food is excellent; a few favorites are avocado toast with arugula or waffles with strawberries and bacon. So good. They always have great Parisian music at least the times I have gone. Seating is outdoors under trees and umbrellas. It gives off European vibes. Stumbled on this family-owned place on a gloomy morning, the ambience was so wonderful and warm inside. Parking was easy and food-wise everything was fresh and delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try more menu items! Thank you for having us.

Mi Cafecito Coffee in Pomona is an absolute gem. The place has such a cute vibe, and it's bustling with energy. I'm a big coffee fan, and their Mexican-inspired flavors are a delight. I tried the dulce de leche latte and the café de olla latte, and both were super good. The café de olla had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste, but the quality was undeniable. Their pastries are delicious too; the ham and cheese croissant was a standout for me. They offer a fun variety of coffee bags to take home, priced at $20 each. While a bit on the pricey side, I have no doubt about the taste and quality being top-notch. The true flavor of their coffee beans is something I’m eager to explore further. The staff is super friendly, and the small, intimate café feel adds to the experience. If you’re in the Pomona area, do yourself a favor and drop by for some amazing coffee. You won’t be disappointed!

Had their Lox Florentine Benedict, packed with plenty of spinach over English muffins, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and topped with a delicious hollandaise sauce. Their coffee is fantastic, along with many other beverage choices. It's a perfect spot within walking distance from local neighborhoods or a great stop after morning hikes. This was my third time visiting, and each time has been a delight. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the refined menu makes it worth it, especially compared to other spots in the area. Whether you’re brunching with friends or treating yourself, it’s an excellent choice. I opted for the Lox Florentine Benedict, while my friend chose the Veggie Bagel with a side of potatoes. We were both very pleased with our meals. The atmosphere is lively, and the service is impressive. Although I might not come here every week, I will definitely be back. Service and food exceed expectations, and although the bar area is quite small, the overall vibe is inviting. This place is truly a gem along the foothills, perfect for breakfast and brunch outings. Their hospitality is commendable, and they’ve got their beer game strong with excellent beer flights and Julian hard cider. Our waitress Sierra made the experience even better with her great service. The food was fantastic!

Always welcomed with a smile, this place has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots in Pomona. The food is amazing, and every order has such an authentic taste. Anything from the breakfast menu will leave you satisfied, and I highly recommend trying the Cafe de olla. This local gem deserves the support, and as a first-timer, I was really impressed. The owner has done a fantastic job of mixing modern with traditional elements. I absolutely loved the Hoya Coffee! The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and surprisingly, there was no line, which makes me think this place is underrated. Their burgers are really delicious, and the fries are excellent, too. The cashier was really nice, and you can tell the employees work hard because their food is proof of that dedication. Definitely try the agua fresca—it's so refreshing and good. The portion sizes are excellent, too. The area may be a bit rough, and it was quite warm indoors on the hot day I visited, but that's something I can overlook. The dining area is clean, and the menu is extensive with lots to choose from. At the end of the day, it’s the food that truly counts. I had a good old-fashioned American breakfast, prepared exactly as I requested. While the pancakes were just okay and not personally my favorite, the friendly folks and great service make this place worth a visit.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about Day Day's BBQ & Waffle House in Pomona. Their chicken and waffles are out of this world. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and the waffles are fresh, fluffy, and served with just the right amount of butter and syrup. The potatoes are amazing and the eggs are cooked just how I like them. The service was top-notch, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the huge portions we got. Walking into this place, you might not expect much, but the execution of every dish is excellent. It’s one of those hidden gems that surpasses expectations. If you love soul food as much as I do, you need to put this spot on your list. The collard greens are top-notch, and I’m picky about those. We tried a variety of dishes: seafood gumbo, Big Ben’s bacon omelette, Slim Da Monsta wings, and Joe Joe's combo. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The seafood gumbo was a standout, packed with flavor and fresh King crab and lobster. The potatoes were a highlight, perfectly seasoned and textured. Joe Joe's combo, with its tender, flavorful oxtail and rice, really blew me away. Even the baked mac and cheese hit the spot with its classic taste and texture. The atmosphere is cozy, with beautiful jazz paintings around. Our server had a genuine southern charm, making us feel right at home. I took pictures of the smothered pork chops and the catfish and fried chicken plates we ordered, and I can't wait to come back to try more from their menu. This place truly exceeded my expectations, and I’m grateful to the chef for a wonderful meal. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Bravo Burgers for breakfast in Pomona has its ups and downs, but there are some highlights worth mentioning. The standout for me was my son's junior burger, which was tasty and had a delicious char flavor that really hit the spot. It's the kind of burger that reminds me of classic barbecues. The staff were polite and offered my friend a refund or a remake when he found an issue with his meal, which showed they care about customer satisfaction. The cashier was particularly nice and informative, which made ordering easy. Despite some hiccups with the other items we tried, like the zucchini fries and fish tacos, the experience wasn't all negative. The price point seemed fair for what we enjoyed, and I found the environment to be laid-back, which made it easy to relax. Overall, if you're in the area and looking for a decent burger, Bravo Burgers has potential. With some improvements, it could return to being the popular spot it once was.

The staff was friendly and checked in frequently, making sure we were taken care of. The place feels like stepping into the past, especially with the old-school building and 50's music playing in the background. I ordered the usual breakfast fare—eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and bacon—and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was excellent. Came here with some friends to try the local pancake spot, and we all left satisfied. Definitely a good spot for a family diner experience. I’d definitely go back!

I wanted to try something new, so I decided to visit Butter Cafe & Bakery for breakfast, and it was a pleasant experience. The iced chai latte with oat milk reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch milk, which was a delightful surprise. The breakfast burrito with chorizo was fresh and flavorful. The tortilla was perfectly crispy, and the salsa on the side was a nice touch. Although the interior could use a bit more decor to create a warmer vibe, the food more than made up for it. The French toast was filling, and while the bread was slightly dry, the semi-sweet whipped cream complemented it well. The service at Butter Cafe was friendly, and I appreciated how spacious and open the seating was. It's a great spot if you want to enjoy a meal with your dog, as there's ample outdoor seating. I also loved the crispiness of the tater tots in the breakfast burritos and found the inclusion of beans quite unique. Their bakery offers many delicious options, and I'm eager to try more of their cookies, especially after enjoying the Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookie. Golden Ox Burger in Pomona is a fantastic spot that gets my seal of approval. I drove 4½ hours from Las Vegas just to eat here, and it was worth the trip. I ordered the pastrami burger and horchata, along with the sides sampler that included fried mushrooms, zucchini, onion rings, and fries. Even though I had to try everything cold because their restroom was out of order and I had to find a nearby gas station, the burger was really good. I can only imagine how delicious the fried stuff would have been hot. The people at Golden Ox Burger were really nice, which added to the positive experience. The seasoning on the French fries was spot on, and they were cooked to a perfect crunchiness. It's rare these days to find places that serve fries crispy, but Golden Ox nailed it. The burgers are delicious too, giving off that old-school vibe that I miss, reminiscent of classic mom-and-pop joints. The counter service is efficient, the food is fresh and comes out quickly, and the portions are huge. It might cost about $5 more per person than a typical drive-thru, but the increase in quality is definitely worth it. The manager was impressive, handling the store and drive-thru with charisma, and it was nice to see extra help arrive right on time. The food was great and the place was spotless. I had a great experience at Farmer Boys in Pomona for breakfast. I've always been a fan of their burger flavor and menu options, and this visit was no different. I decided to try the BBQ Crunch Double Cheeseburger wrapped in lettuce, and I really enjoyed it. The amount of Romaine lettuce and meat was just right, making it a satisfying choice. The atmosphere was welcoming, especially when we showed up with a group of 15 right before closing time after a staff meeting. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, which is really appreciated. I did notice that the location had a fire a few months ago and was closed for a bit, so it seems like most of the staff are new faces. But they were all doing a great job. While the food was good, I did find the fries to be a bit disappointing. They seemed pale and not golden brown, possibly because they're using completely new oil instead of a mix. Even so, the overall dining experience was pleasant and enjoyable. In the past, I had stopped coming here because of the unfriendly staff and early dining room closures, but I'm glad I gave it another chance. The environment has improved a lot, and the service made my visit worthwhile. I look forward to coming back more often.

We had breakfast this morning at IHOP in Pomona, and it brought back memories of my childhood visits to the International House of Pancakes. The baby blue steep roof is just as I remember. We ordered the country fried steak with eggs and pancakes, and the senior citizen breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns. The food was good, especially the hashbrowns. We arrived when it was quiet, but by the time we left, they had a full house. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables to enjoy a meal. This was my first time at this IHOP, and I was impressed with the service. The waitress, Natalia, offered excellent customer service—friendly and courteous. This was our second time being served by her, and she is truly the best. Always attentive, helpful, and patient, she made our visit enjoyable. There's plenty of parking, and the handicap stalls are conveniently located near the front entrance. The food was delicious, especially the banana pancakes, though I wasn't a fan of the sirloin with mushrooms. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic. It's a great place to eat and even catch some sports on TV. The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were fair. I would go back in a heartbeat.
