Don't you just love the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning? I'm not a frequent coffee drinker, but when I do get the taste for a hot cup of Joe, I'm very picky about where I get it from. Foxtail Coffee Co. in Pompano Beach is a gem for someone like me. Located in the Pompano Citi Centre, it's a place that offers a variety of brewed coffee or tea, hot or cold, along with bakery items, cold beverages, quick bite sandwiches, and ice cream. The prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of indoor seating where you can soak in the serene ambiance. On my visit, I found the female employee behind the counter to be pleasant and patient as I took my time exploring the menu. I chose a cafe con leche, an egg, ham, and cheese croissant, and a slice of banana bread. Here's how it went: The cafe con leche was a delight. It had just the right balance, not too strong, and lightly sweetened. The regular size was perfect for me since I'm not a heavy coffee drinker. The egg, ham, and cheese croissant was delicious. The croissant was lightly toasted, melting the Gouda cheese for that ooey-gooey taste I love. As for the banana bread, I opted not to have it heated, and it was excellent as it came—a moist, thick slice topped with walnut pieces. Starting my day here was truly fulfilling. The coffee strikes the perfect balance of flavor without being over-roasted. They offer a unique range of flavors for both coffee and ice cream, which is a lovely surprise. The staff's welcoming attitude is the icing on the cake, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're meeting friends, having business discussions, or just grabbing a nice coffee, it's a lovely spot to be. Additionally, the barista was super friendly and even made a drink similar to a popular Caramel Macchiato from a certain chain, but it tasted much better. With the discovery of another location in Boca, it's definitely on my list to check out.

I stumbled upon How You Brewin Coffee Company during a slow morning in Pompano Beach, and it's a fantastic find. This place is a hidden gem right after a nice boardwalk stroll. They offer multiple vegan options, which is a win for my family. My kiddos absolutely loved the vegan muffins, and we all enjoyed the variety of pastries. The cookie tasted more like a scone to us, and we thought the banana bread deserved a solid 4 out of 5. Their coffee choices are plentiful, and I was impressed with the light roast paired with oat milk. My kids couldn’t get enough of the oat milk hot chocolate. For those with dietary restrictions, like my mom who is gluten-free, you'll find excellent options. She was thrilled with her gluten-free breakfast sandwich on tasty bread. I tried the avocado toast, and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. I also had a dirty matcha latte while my mom enjoyed a refreshing black iced tea. They even make their own cold brew in-house. The shop is super clean, the service top-notch, and they have a spacious covered patio. The friendly staff and the delightful atmosphere make it a wonderful morning spot. Whether you're looking for breakfast, a coffee break, or a tasty lunch, this Oceanside coffee shop is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend it for any time of the day.

The Cuban coffee here is exceptional—perfectly balanced with espresso, a touch of milk, and raw sugar. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had, and my wife agrees. We tried both beef and chicken empanadas, which were incredibly tasty, with the perfect combination of seasoning, moisture, and crunch. It was so delightful that we ended up dining there two mornings in a row. On our first visit, my partner chose the Arugula and Avocado Toast, while I opted for the Prosciutto and Swiss Croissant. She thoroughly enjoyed her toast, and I was blown away by my sandwich, especially with the balsamic drizzle. A little advice: it's best to savor the croissant with a fork and knife. The next day, my partner tried the Breakfast Toast, and I went for the Traditional Shakshouka, with us sharing the Nutella and Strawberry Toast. Her Breakfast Toast was devoured quickly, and my Shakshouka was rich and absolutely flavorful, making for a wonderfully quiet breakfast moment. Although the Nutella and Strawberry Toast was slightly unbalanced in terms of thickness, it was still a fun treat to share. Carmela Coffee offers a wonderful variety of avocado toasts, delicious coffee, and a cozy setting with comfy chairs and even a couch. It's a bit on the pricier side, so for us, it's more of a special treat. The atmosphere can get busy on weekends, and while the tables could be cleared more efficiently, the food and coffee quality make up for it. I've been here several times, often bringing friends who appreciate the cute, demure decor. Giovanna, my favorite barista, always remembers my order and brings such a positive vibe to the place. I tried "The Simple," a unique sandwich featuring a cornmeal-based bread topped with sliced tomatoes, melted cheese, spinach, pesto, and egg. Paired with a glass of local orange juice, it was spot-on. The baked salmon caught my attention as soon as I walked in. It was fresh out of the oven, with vibrant red peppers and parsley garnish. Sold by the pound, it was perfectly seasoned, lacking any raw scent and not overly salted—an absolute delight! My only gripe was that it came in a round takeout container that folded part of the fillet over, exposing the scales. Next time, I'll make sure to ask them to skin it. The atmosphere was cozy, reminiscent of a sitting room or reading nook, with modern and clean facilities. The staff provided excellent service, and the ambiance was so relaxing that I lost track of time while there. I also tried their Açaí Bowl Brazilian, which was fresh with a great consistency. It's a bit on the pricey side at $16, but the quality justifies it. There’s also a small market inside offering fresh produce, tea, and other health-focused goods, which I really appreciate for their lack of seed oils. While I initially visited on a Sunday night, I did return on a bustling Monday around lunchtime. The cafe was busier, and I found the food options more limited than expected, with no breakfast items available. Still, the menu features plenty of veggie options, juices, coffees, desserts, and pre-made sandwiches. I recommend their Açaí Bowl Brazilian and the veggie monster sandwich. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the buttery toast hit the spot. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff greet you with a smile the moment you walk in. Even the parking is convenient, making the entire experience hassle-free. One standout was the Cuban sandwich, which was perfectly grilled, offering a delightful crunch and packed with flavor. And the papas casa were a surprising treat—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned just right. The cafe con leche was a highlight, offering a robust yet smooth flavor. It was the perfect companion to my meal. Overall, Costa Sur Cuban Cafe easily exceeded my expectations with its authentic Cuban cuisine and friendly service. I'll definitely be back for more. Thank you for the wonderful experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visiting Dandee Donut Factory in Pompano Beach was a delightful experience. The standout moment had to be the cheerful older gentleman outside, rocking out to the Beastie Boys—definitely added a fun vibe to the start of my day. I was initially drawn in by the buzz around their donuts, and they certainly lived up to the hype. These donuts are freshly made, and the variety of flavors, like the Oreo, toasted coconut, caramel cream, and even the maple bacon, make choosing just one nearly impossible. The place might be small, but that's part of its charm. It's more of a grab-and-go spot, perfect for taking some deliciousness with you. Service was top-notch, especially from the welcoming “Sandee Dandee,” who handled our party of eight with ease. The Pork roll egg and cheese sandwich is a must-try, especially when paired with a donut of your choice as part of their great meal deal. Whether you're a local or just passing through, making a stop here for breakfast or donuts is a no-brainer. Every visit feels like a little slice of donut heaven, and grabbing a dozen for clients or friends is a surefire way to spread the joy.

During our family trip to Pompano Beach, we stumbled upon Nonna's Bistro & Cafe for breakfast, and it was a fantastic find. With a big family of eight from Texas, we were on the lookout for comforting food, and this place did not disappoint. The Argentinian cuisine was delicious, and the empanadas were a standout—definitely my favorite starter. The desserts were mouth-watering, and the cortado coffee was perfect for coffee enthusiasts like me. The ambiance at Nonna's is inviting, with a modern rustic feel and a crisp clean smell as you walk in. The decor is modern, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The staff is friendly, offering top-notch service that made our visit even more enjoyable. There’s relaxing music in the background, adding to the whole vibe. For breakfast, we tried the Farm Fresh Omelette and a Breakfast Sandwich, both delivered quickly and hot. Everything is homemade, including an in-house bakery, and don't miss out on their homemade Chimichurri sauce—we even took a bottle home! The cafe is kid-friendly, and parking was a breeze as we got seated immediately. Overall, Nonna's is a hidden gem. We enjoyed riding our bikes to this spot, and I even went back for more empanadas to take home. If you're in Pompano Beach, this is one breakfast spot you won't want to miss. I highly recommend it!

My lunch at Beach House in Pompano Beach was fantastic. The beachfront location exceeded all my expectations, offering impeccable service and a vibrant atmosphere. I have to highlight Ian, whose attentive presence truly made us feel welcome and valued. Their burgers were bursting with flavor, and the sushi selections were on point. Sitting at a table with ocean views added a serene, picturesque backdrop to our meal. It was an unforgettable experience, blending great food, excellent service, and stunning scenery. This is likely the best beachfront restaurant in South Florida. The space is large, with various seating options, including ocean-side tables. The menu is diverse, with something for everyone, and every dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. As someone who appreciates gluten-free and vegetarian options, I had a wonderful dining experience while watching the sunset over the water. The staff strikes a perfect balance between being friendly and respectful of your space. The food was divine, from appetizers to desserts, with each bite bursting with flavor. The chefs clearly take great care in crafting the menu. The view was stunning, but what truly made the experience stand out was our waitress. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Her menu knowledge was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. Her lovely personality and excellent service made the meal even more enjoyable. I’m eager to return for the view, food, and exceptional service. The Beach House offers chill vacation vibes with margaritas and Bob Marley tunes in the background, making it my happy place for lunch. The service was perfect, and I loved choosing where to sit—inside, on the outside patio, or on the rooftop. The views are fantastic, and the food is fun. I loved the sushi rolls, tacos, and the tuna poke surf stack, even though I’m usually not a fan of ahi. The grilled artichokes were delightful, too. With so many menu items, there’s something for everyone. This visit was a great start to my vacation, and I highly recommend stopping by while in Pompano, Florida!

Walking up from the beach to Deep Oceanfront Restaurant and Bar was a real treat. The covered tables were perfect for some shade, and starting the day with their frozen alcoholic beverages was delightful—they didn't hold back on the alcohol! For breakfast, the breakfast bowl and an omelet were both tasty, and later, the fish tacos at lunch were just as good. Though service was a bit slow, especially if you have little ones, the freshness and flavor of the food made it all worthwhile. While the bar next door didn't impress me much with its unfriendly vibe and lackluster drinks, this restaurant stood out with its great food and drinks, wonderful atmosphere, and excellent service. The staff truly elevated the experience, and those conch fritters were a highlight. Fresh fish daily and ending with key lime pie felt like perfection at the beach. The views are stunning in every direction, and the tiki huts add that exotic island vibe. It's our favorite bar in Pompano and feels like a hidden gem behind the Beachcomber Hotel. Perfect for casual dates, we went on a Saturday for lunch and loved the friendly service. Though the brunch menu was limited, the regular menu offered plenty. I tried a red wine Mimosa that was frozen and refreshing, and the burgers and fries were simply delicious. The live music added a nice touch to the ambiance. The ocean view was incredibly relaxing, making me want to linger longer. This is definitely my new go-to spot!

Deerfield Beach Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast, especially with the stunning beach view right in front. I visited with my mom and loved it so much that I brought my friend back the next weekend. The avocado toast is delicious, and the salad is packed with flavor. My mom and I shared the yogurt bowl on the side, and while it's a perfect side, it might not be big enough for a full meal. We've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here while sitting on the patio, soaking in the ocean view and sounds. The service is great, and I definitely plan on returning!
