This place being on Church Street is very fitting. Eating the tri-tip tacos is a religious experience. I've wanted to try this spot for years, but it just never worked out. I wish I had made more of an effort earlier. Now, I can't get enough and will definitely be back regularly. It's amazing! After living in this area for two decades, I can't believe I only heard about this little hole-in-the-wall place last month. Tuesday is Tri-Tip Taco day at Roundhouse Deli. I finally made it here on a Tuesday, and the tacos did not disappoint. So, local folks, if you find yourself in Old Roseville, California, check out Roundhouse Deli. The hot sandwiches are really good! The Trainwreck and Tri-tip sandwiches were delicious. The meat is tender, and the hot sauce is incredible. The fries, macaroni salad, and potato salad are also worth trying. The level of deliciousness is off the charts! Their Tri-Tip is so flavorful, tender, and moist. The service at Fourscore Coffee for breakfast in Roseville was fantastic! My waiter was super friendly and recommended the maple latte with oat milk, which was a great choice. The place was lively yet had a second section that seemed more relaxed for those who needed to focus. I went there for a solo date, and even though I felt a bit awkward finding a spot for one person to sit, I eventually settled inside since it was a hot day. The only downside was the annoying flies that made it a bit hard to enjoy my food, coffee, and to focus on reading and writing as planned. Parking was tricky to find at first, which led to some circling, and I regretted wearing the wrong shoes for the outing. The ham and Swiss sandwich was decent, though I think melted cheese would have made it better. The cinnamon muffin was a bit bland but paired nicely with the maple latte. Despite these small complaints, Fourscore is worth visiting. It's in a great location for wandering around when your plans change. The atmosphere is productive, perfect for getting work done, and the prices are reasonable. I also tried the matcha, which was tasty. The service is top-notch—definitely ask for a mug instead of a plastic cup for dining in. Both the staff and manager, Will, were friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The area was clean, and browsing the bookshelf was a nice touch. I had an iced Americano, and my son enjoyed an unsweetened decaf iced tea; both were delicious. You can't ask for more from a local coffee shop—there's always room for improvement, but I would definitely recommend Fourscore Coffee!

I was thrilled to discover that Posh Bagel in Roseville offers egg bagels, even though they're steamed rather than boiled. The texture is different, softer, and not as chewy as the boiled ones I remember from New York. While I miss that chewiness, there's no denying that the bagels here are delicious. I ordered the egg deluxe breakfast sandwich, which was really good, and the almond pastry was a delightful treat. The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and polite, making the experience even better. The place is clean, and there's a wide variety of bagels and spreads available, whether you want them with a spread or as a sandwich. There are also freshly baked pastries to choose from. I also tried a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, which was super filling and delicious, although the banana nut muffin was a bit of a letdown as it crumbled apart after the top. Stopping at Marios Early Toast for breakfast in Roseville was such a good decision during our I-80 drive. The place had a comfy vibe with nice lighting and spacing, though it was a bit loud. We were seated at the counter after a short wait, and our server was friendly, getting us our drinks quickly. Despite the busy morning rush, the service was polite. The food was definitely the highlight. The biscuits and gravy were exceptional, and though I wished for a bit more seasoning, everything was tasty. The French toast looked inviting, and the house potatoes with peppers and onions were a nice touch. Even the hash browns were decent. The coffee was really satisfying too. While some things could improve, like more seasoning and fun menu options, and a little more attention to the bathrooms and acoustics, I’d definitely come back. The overall experience was great, and finding such a gem by chance made it even better. The food was delicious, the waitress was nice, and I'm eager to visit again, hopefully when it's a bit less busy.

Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch in Roseville has been a favorite spot for breakfast. Although the menu might seem a bit limited compared to other places, the food is always tasty with good portions. The servers here are friendly and create a welcoming vibe. It's a busy spot on Sunday mornings, but we were seated quickly and served promptly. The beignets are usually great, though I once had them a bit dry. The shrimp po' boy was flavorful, albeit slightly salty for my liking. The crab cake benedict and stacked chicken and waffles are standout dishes, especially if you enjoy a mix of sweet and salty. The Tom’s scramble is amazing, with perfectly cooked biscuits and excellent gravy. The Cajun sausage adds a nice kick. The kids' portions are well-sized and reasonably priced. Enjoying breakfast on the pet-friendly patio was a plus, and the staff truly seem to love their jobs and the food they serve. A server recommended the steak melt, and it was so good I'd return just for that. While the caramel iced coffee wasn’t my favorite, the sweet tea and drinks served in mason jars were delightful. Overall, Huckleberry's offers great service, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere.

Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch in Roseville is a great spot for breakfast. I've tried both locations, but this one was my first experience, and it did not disappoint. The food is consistently good, with generous portions and a friendly service. I ordered Tom's Scramble, and it was fantastic and very large. Adding bell peppers and onions to the potatoes for just $0.75 was a great choice. Sandra, our server, was friendly and personable, making the atmosphere laid-back and enjoyable. Everything came out quickly and perfectly. I love the Cajun twist to their food, and the breakfast prices are reasonable. Our waitress was very attentive and had a great sense of humor, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Despite a small issue with some coffee grounds in my friend's coffee, it was resolved quickly by our waitress. The stuffed French toast is a must-try, and showing up at 8:30 on a Saturday meant no wait for us. Huckleberry's is always a place I look forward to visiting, and I highly recommend it for both the food and the service.

I ordered ahead using the app, and everything went smoothly. I love that the juice at Nékter Juice Bar is made to order. The staff is wonderful, and the space is a nice spot to sit and relax. Although I dislike the plastic used for beverages and straws and wish the produce were organic, my overall experience was good. It’s a convenient location to wait for a family member at Sutter Medical nearby and has quickly become my new favorite place for lunch. Their smoothie bowls are delicious! It does take some time since everything is freshly made, so it’s not the best choice if you're in a rush. Our order usually comes out 5-10 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time when ordered online, but it's totally worth the wait. The place is cute, and the staff is super nice. I got the PB&J bowl, and it was amazing, filled to the top and so good. The bowls are my favorite; I've tried a few different flavors and loved every single one of them. No other place compares.

Oak Leaf Cafe is truly a hidden gem in the Granite Bay area, and I'm thrilled to have discovered it. After dropping my wife off at the hospital for my daughter's delivery, I stopped by for breakfast and had an excellent experience. The cafe is conveniently located down Douglas Blvd. from Kaiser Hospital, in the Quarry Ponds Shopping Center. I ordered the steak and eggs special, which included eggs, toast, country potatoes, and a 10oz New York Strip—all for just $10.99. It's a deal that's hard to beat, even compared to Mel's Diner. The steak was cooked perfectly to my preference, and the meal was satisfying and delicious. The cafe offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options, including waffles, omelets, pancakes, burgers, specialty sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian dishes. Kid-friendly with indoor and outdoor seating options, it also has a private meeting room available. I also tried the Western Burger with fries, and it was terrific. The fries were crispy and fresh, while the burger featured a well-packed patty, crispy bacon, and a large, perfectly crispy onion ring. My companions tried various breakfast items like the Country Skillet, Country Breakfast, and Spinach and Mushroom Omelette, and everyone was thoroughly pleased. The atmosphere is beautiful—open, light, and airy. I especially liked the booth seats and the friendly and attentive service. Damien, one of the staff, was incredibly helpful, ensuring our water glasses were always full. There's also plenty of outdoor seating and a nice reservation room equipped with a TV and privacy doors. The food presentation was spot on. The buttermilk pancakes were thick, soft, and delicious. The ultimate omelet with country potatoes was a real treat, and my wife absolutely loved her banana caramel and pecan French toast—it was so generous that she had to save the last two pieces. I'm eagerly looking forward to their dinner menu when they start serving dinner on June 1, 2024. Once they get their liquor license, it will only enhance the experience. Oak Leaf Cafe is a fantastic new spot, and I hope more people give it a try to help it grow and succeed. If you're in the area, definitely consider supporting this wonderful business!

Visiting The Original Mels Diner in Roseville for breakfast was quite a treat! The atmosphere was comfortable and not too busy, which made for a relaxing morning. The food truly stood out—especially the onion rings, which were the best I've ever had, and the ranch dip was fantastic, even for someone like me who typically isn't a ranch fan. Though the burger was just okay, adding the ranch really took it up a notch. This was my first visit to this Mels location, and we were seated immediately. Our order was taken promptly, though I did have to remind our server about our sodas, which was a minor hiccup. The portions were a bit on the small side; I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon, all of which tasted great, but I did leave a little hungry. The diner was clean, and parking was hassle-free. We did get a bit lost in the menu because of all the options, but once we decided, we were thrilled with the large servings and perfectly cooked breakfast. Our server was phenomenal, providing excellent service and adding to the friendly experience. This place will definitely be a must-stop whenever we visit the grandkids! I tried the Sparkling Grapefruit Cold Brew for the first time, and it amazed me with its unique flavor that reminded me of dark chocolate—definitely a taste to savor. The baristas were friendly and quick, taking time to recommend different drinks without feeling rushed. They got my order perfect on the first try, which was a great start to my day. I also appreciated that while using Peet's Wi-Fi, I didn't have to deal with ads in my NY Times app. It's a thoughtful touch that made my reading time more enjoyable, even though occasionally I had to switch off the Wi-Fi to access certain sites. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience was positive and welcoming. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

Pushkin's Bakery & Cafe in Roseville is a fantastic spot for gluten-free dining, and I'm thrilled to have found it. The variety of gluten-free pastries is impressive, with the lemon pound cake being my absolute favorite. It's great to know that they also sell their pastries at Nugget Market, which makes it easier to enjoy their delicious treats. The atmosphere is clean and cool, perfect for a summer visit, and the salads are not only delicious but also generously sized. During my visit, my husband and I tried the ruben and turkey, bacon pesto sandwiches. The bread was notably good, resembling ciabatta, and both sandwiches were filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The seasoned fries and in-house dairy-free dill ranch were also hits. I couldn't resist taking home a dozen of their baked goods, each looking more inviting than the last. The cupcakes were light and fluffy, with a whipped frosting that was simply delightful. We sampled the lemon raspberry, French toast, and mixed berry options, along with an orange and lemon loaf, blueberry coffee cake, and oatmeal cream cookies. Every item was bursting with flavor. Though I love the food, the ambiance could use a touch of warmth; the setting feels a bit sterile with its metal chairs. While the coffee is decent and the staff friendly, there's room for improvement in some of the baked goods. The blueberry muffin I tried previously was dry, and the chocolate chunk scone turned out crumbly and flavorless. Despite these small setbacks, Pushkin’s remains a haven for anyone seeking gluten and dairy-free options. Overall, Pushkin's is a must-visit whether you have dietary restrictions or not. I’m hopeful they’ll expand even further, maybe opening a location in Folsom. I give it 4 stars, especially appreciating how it caters to those with food allergies. However, there's potential for enhancing the coziness and refining some recipes.

Over the past five days, I've visited Bloom Coffee & Kitchen three times, which really says it all. The vibe is fantastic with a cozy blend of rustic and modern decor. The Gibraltar was my favorite coffee choice, and you can tell they use high-quality beans. The menu doesn't disappoint either, with a mix of specialty coffees and delicious breakfast and lunch options. The avocado toast is top-notch, using perfectly ripe avocados on artisanal bread. The staff are friendly and competent, even though a little more specialty coffee knowledge wouldn't hurt. They make up for it with attentive service and a clear passion for what they do. The atmosphere, whether indoors or out, is welcoming, especially with the birds chirping outside. Despite a warmer day with no AC during one visit, the experience remained pleasant. Pricing is reasonable for the quality you get, and it's clear that Bloom is committed to great coffee and excellent food. A must-visit spot for anyone in town!

La Bou Bakery & Cafe in Roseville has become a favorite spot for breakfast, and I can't help but share my experience. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh, tasting homemade, like something from grandma’s house. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating, which was perfect for a fresh morning start. While my go-to order is usually the Spicy Thai Soup, which has sentimental value for my wife and me, I decided to try something different this time. I ordered a wild Alaskan salmon sandwich with avocado, expecting a delightful smoked salmon taste. Although the salmon wasn't quite what I expected, I appreciated the effort in the fresh ingredients used. Not wanting to give up, I switched to a classic smoked turkey sandwich. Although it wasn't perfect, the fresh lettuce and tomato were standouts for their crispness and made for a decent meal. Although my experience had a few hiccups, the cafe still offers a pleasant environment and great ambiance, making it a nice place to stop by. Despite some challenges, La Bou holds a special place for us, and the friendly staff and cleanliness make for a welcoming visit.

My husband and I love starting our day at Panera Bread in Roseville. The employees are always sweet and friendly, making us feel welcome every time we go for our drinks. We recently had a work event for 50 people where Panera catered both breakfast and lunch. There was a mix-up with the order, which was entirely our fault, not Panera’s. After calling and checking the order form, it was clear we had made the mistake. The staff, especially the manager Oscar, were incredibly helpful and responsive. They worked with us through a few phone calls to fix our order. They quickly delivered additional breakfast items and adjusted the lunch order to accommodate dietary restrictions, swapping out meat sandwiches for vegetarian options and adding gluten-free and low-carb salads. We were so impressed with their swift response and flexibility. This Panera feels like it’s run by a big family. The entire team is amazing and attentive. A special shoutout to their brand ambassador Maria, who is truly one of a kind and always brings a smile. If you’re in the mood for good soups and salads or just need something quick, this is the place to go. I personally recommend the Cheddar Broccoli Soup with a Southwestern Salad. I went to Rosie's Country Kitchen for breakfast, and I was really impressed with the prices, food, and service. I've been back about 10 times now, and it’s always excellent. I haven’t tried dinner yet, but I plan to. For a good old American breakfast, Rosie's is the place. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast—cooked perfectly. My friend had pancakes and a couple of eggs, which looked delicious and she enjoyed them too. Even though they also serve Indian food, I was there for breakfast, so I haven't explored that menu much. However, I’ve tried a variety of breakfast items on different visits, and everything has been consistently good. The place gives off a comfortable, homey vibe with its old-school decor. It's not fancy, but if you’re after good food and good service, this is the spot. The restaurant's cleanliness isn't top-notch, with some clutter around, but the food and service more than make up for it. The sausage skillet is a highlight for me. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
