My family and I had always wanted to try Tower Cafe, and we finally made it on a Monday morning. The outdoor seating was beautiful under the tree, making it a unique place to dine. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes from around the world. The French toast was unbelievable, and the rest of the food was pretty good too. The service was great, and sitting outside made the experience even more enjoyable. The Thai curry and Thai steak were delightful, with just the right amount of spice. The desserts were delicious, and it's nice that you can order them to go. This cafe was one of the best stops on our road trip. We ended up eating more than we intended because it was so good. We went for lunch but are tempted to come back for dinner. Tower Cafe is a wonderful sit-down place with a lovely atmosphere. The outdoor seating is particularly enjoyable, and the view is great. The alcoholic drinks were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

My husband loved his Cajun omelet, our oldest enjoyed the all-meat omelet, and our daughter devoured the club sandwich with a side salad. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and well-lit, thanks to its front windows. The fast-casual vibe made it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. And let’s not forget their impressive selection of Mimosa flavors—over 30 to choose from! Our waitress was quick to recommend her favorites, adding to the fun experience. While the men's restroom could use a bit of a facelift, it was clean and well-stocked, so it didn’t detract from our visit. At Bacon & Butter, you need to check in beforehand to get a spot because there’s always a line, but it's worth the wait. Once you're near the top of the list, be ready by the door since they call your party when everyone is present. The food is absolutely delicious—our lunch was fantastic. The B&B Burger, with cheese cascading around it, was a standout. The French toast was our absolute favorite; everything was top-notch. My family and I have been coming here since 2016, and we've never been disappointed. The food is always hearty, fresh, and bursting with flavor, and the service is just as amazing. Heather T. is our favorite employee. She's welcoming, always has a warm smile, and is great with our kids. Her exceptional service is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Today, we celebrated our 20th anniversary at Bacon & Butter, and everyone took the time to wish us a happy anniversary. It feels like home here, and we always leave feeling full and cared for. This place is a solid 10 out of 10—highly recommended! The place was busy even in the middle of the week, but the hostess and waitstaff were impressive. They don't have a full coffee bar, so you might want to go elsewhere if you’re looking for specialty drinks.

During my visit, I enjoyed the Sautéed Jimmy Nardello peppers and the Homemade Pasta with Crispy Pork Belly. The peppers were sweet with a good sear, topped with a flavorful garlic sauce. The pasta had a wonderful, cohesive flavor, though I wish there had been more pork to stand out against the creamy sauce. The interior of the café is cozy and has a warm atmosphere. The patio looks inviting, though it was a bit too warm to enjoy during my visit. Located on 16th Ave, the Magpie Café is in a wonderful, lively neighborhood across from a park. The restaurant itself is adorable with a lovely outdoor seating area. We also had the crab salad with grapefruit, which was fresh and delicious, and the BLT, which was amazing! The sundried tomatoes and caper mayonnaise made it unforgettable. Starting with their garlicky hummus was a treat, and finishing off with custard and a carrot cake cookie for dessert was perfect. Every dish was really good. Our waitress was fantastic, which made the dining experience even better. I can't recommend Magpie enough - we had an amazing time and will definitely be back to try more dishes. The location is perfect for outdoor seating, especially during this time of year. Magpie has quickly become a favorite spot, and I highly recommend it for the great food, drinks, and service!

This place has a unique space diner theme that I don't entirely understand, but it adds to the charm, and their bathrooms are clean, which is always a plus. The atmosphere is vibrant with all the hype colors and a classic diner feel. The service here is incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome even on a busy weekend afternoon. They don't take reservations, but we were seated fairly quickly despite the place being packed. It's clearly a favorite spot, and I can see why. The menu caught my attention as it features many dishes from the former Bistro 33, since the same chef is behind it. The Benedicts were fantastic, reminiscent of what I remembered from Bistro. I also appreciated the Reuben and wedge salad, both of which were fresh and flavorful. I took a corned beef Reuben and salad to go, and they were just as delicious at home – the salad stayed crisp with a tasty blue cheese dressing, and the sandwich was perfectly assembled and not soggy at all. While the cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in Sacramento, and it came with a generous portion of crispy fries, I wasn't as impressed with the fruit crumble and the Pugent Sound sandwich. The latter, unfortunately, was too heavy on the mayonnaise, causing the filling to fall out. Overall, the quality of the food and the excellent waitstaff make ROC&SOL Diner a spot worth visiting. The pricing aligns with the quality, and the experience was truly enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

The hash browns were perfectly crispy and tender, and I loved the loaded version with melted cheddar and crispy bacon. Next time, I'd add green onion. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy, which featured a classic sausage white gravy over a fresh, fluffy biscuit topped with crispy bacon pieces. It was a yummy treat! I ended up with the shorty Benedict, which didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Considering how much everything costs these days, it would be great if the service were more attentive to ensure you get what you ask for. Despite some hiccups, the food was excellent with generous portions. The ocean omelette was particularly delicious. While the service felt a bit slow and the table spacing a bit cramped, especially near the fireplace, I’m willing to attribute that to the busy Sunday afternoon. Overall, the food was good, but some dishes lacked flavor. I've played pool here a few times, and going early on a weeknight means having the pool section all to yourself. It gets busier on weekends, and I wish it stayed open later since most places on this street close early. On a lunch date with my wife, we both enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. My wife loved the salad sampler, and I enjoyed the turkey burger.
