The bacon was crispy, crunchy, and smoky, while the eggs were perfectly yolky. The chipotle aioli really hit the spot, and combined with the brioche bun, it was a winner! I also enjoyed the spicy sausage with a little bit of arugula, which made me feel guilt-free while eating it. I will definitely be back! I love this little breakfast spot—the rolls they use are amazing, the people are super kind, and it has such a great vibe. The prices are super reasonable too. The brioche bun is super fluffy and light, and the eggs are served with a runny yolk, unless specified otherwise. The restaurant is small and tends to get busy during breakfast and lunch hours, and parking can be difficult as the free parking lot is very small. An option could be to park in the southwest corner of Liberty Park and walk across the street. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is immaculately clean.

The service was good, and the patio was a nice place to sit and eat. The Scandinavian Breakfast was excellent. The Idaho poached red trout with two over easy eggs, house tartar sauce, and lemon butter on toasted sourdough bread was a standout. The fish was fresh, and the combination of the sauce, eggs, and lemon worked perfectly. The pieces of toast were small but had a good crunch, and the raspberry preserves were a nice touch. The marzipan cake with strawberries and whipped cream was delicious and rich. We love Finn’s! They have the best eggs Benedict, especially the crab cake version. Portion sizes are perfect, and the food is great quality. They also have awesome coffee. It’s our favorite weekend breakfast spot!

While we are friends with the owners, it truly doesn’t affect my view that this place is all about the details. Their breakfast offerings are impressive, with a generous amount of egg in the sandwiches, a giant burrito, and a delicious breakfast bowl. The location is perfect, nestled among tree-lined streets, offering a peaceful atmosphere with ample street parking and a lot behind the building. Inside, the café has a cozy, eclectic vibe with plenty of seating for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised to find Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee on the menu. Though the burrito was a bit large and started to fall apart, the bagel with hummus was a solid choice. It’s a fantastic spot to work, relax, or catch up with friends. The owners are amazing, offering a quality coffee selection, and are always friendly and cool. When I tried the Spicy Dynamo turkey sandwich to go, I was taken aback by the generous portion and the inclusion of chips. This café will definitely be on my list when meeting friends in the avenues. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and we both felt the atmosphere and food were perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the building is beautiful. The service was great, and our food arrived quickly. The breakfast burrito was tasty, although I wished for some meat. The Parmesan Brioche Benedict with its top-notch hollandaise sauce was delicious too. The breakfast potatoes were surprisingly good, and I'm curious about how they're made. This brunch spot offers a relaxed vibe and delicious food. Expect a 45-minute wait on weekends, but it’s worth it. The avocado sourdough toast and hot salmon hash are tasty choices. This place offers incredible value, especially when you're looking for an affordable eatery in the area. The cinnamon rolls, which are vegan-friendly, were a hit! I tried the vegan burrito with hash brown and veggies, and the salsa on the side really enhanced the flavor. Straw Market SLC has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the city. It's conveniently located near where we were staying, which made it an easy choice. Although we were tempted by the famous cinnamon rolls everyone seemed to be taking to-go, we were just too full after our meal. This spot closes around 3 PM and also offers sandwiches for lunch. All in all, it was a great experience, and we would love to return sometime soon.

Although the baked potatoes were on the smaller side, there was an abundance of butter and sour cream to make it satisfying. The vegetables were crisp and came in generous portions. Another guest had the French Dip sandwich, which was tender and generously filled with beef—so much that it was hard to finish. The salads and rolls were fresh, and the hand-dipped ice cream for dessert was a delightful end to the meal, all for around $37, which felt like great value. Breakfast on the patio the next morning was just as enjoyable. I indulged in The European, a delicious take on eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise sauce, and cottage potatoes. My husband relished the traditional breakfast, especially pleased with the generous portions of French toast. My daughters loved their breakfast burrito and French toast with berries, plus the cinnamon roll on the side. The friendly server added to the warm atmosphere, engaging in light-hearted banter and ensuring we had everything we needed. When we’re back in town, we'll definitely return. The biscuits were phenomenal—truly the best I've ever had—and the hot chocolate was outstanding, possibly the best I've had in ages. The loaded hash was more than worth the upgrade; a delightful twist on classic diner hash. The entire menu is delicious, and the service is friendly and helpful. I'm already happy with just the biscuit bar, but the hash adds an extra tasty element. You can't go wrong with any menu item here. Just a tip: if you try the Tia Mala hot sauce, start small because it packs quite a punch. We first came in May and returned yesterday, trying the Hoss, orange raspberry lemonade, pancakes, and fruit and yogurt bowl. Each dish delivered a flavorful punch! The staff is fast, friendly, and knows the menu well. Seating is comfortable with plenty of space, and parking wasn't an issue. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in town! The syrup on the waffle had a nutty taste, just great. I've been going to Lazy Day since I moved to Utah, and it never disappoints. The food is incredible every single time. We have lots of visitors, and we always bring them here. You have to try a lemon pancake with their homemade syrup; you'll leave happy. Also, their coffee is fantastic. It's the perfect place to start your day, with friendly staff who are super knowledgeable about the menu and the local area. They even automatically add an 18% gratuity, which feels a bit unusual, but it doesn't take away from the overall experience. While the patio seating could be a bit more comfortable with some back support, the overall ambiance is nice and relaxing. I got the crème brûlée French toast and it was amazing. We're only in Utah for a few days and I know we'll end up coming back here again. They were also very helpful with offering a booster or high chair for our seven month old daughter. There was plenty of room at the table to put it, which was nice. Not all places are as kid/baby friendly and it was much appreciated. The only tough part was narrowing down what to get from such an awesome menu! Highly recommend coming here - you'll love it! The first thing I needed to do was go to the bathroom. We got there at the start of brunch rush, but all the tables were full. I was impressed with how clean the bathrooms were even though they were unisex. Also thought it was cool that they had supplies for women in case of an emergency. When we sat at the table, I was in awe of how pretty the setup was. It was aesthetically pleasing, though our table was wobbly, and that killed the vibe a little. Service was good. Our server didn’t have much of a personality, but we never had to ask for refills or extra needs. He was on top of everything. The food came out and was delicious! Everything looked fresh and flavorful, and we couldn’t wait to dive in. The only disappointment I had was the gravy on the biscuits didn't taste warm and the sourdough bread was too hard to chew. We ordered the blueberry & lemon curd pancakes. They were beautiful in design, large portions, but a little overcooked, which made it hard to cut through. We also ordered the Ratatouille Egg & Hash. I loved the vegetables in this dish. Zucchinis were a nice touch to a hash type of meal. Cute place to check out. Parking wasn’t a pain either, and the staff was friendly.

As a visiting vegan from Missouri, I was thrilled to find an honest-to-goodness vegan breakfast. The Vegan Veggie Bowl was tasty and filling, and the fruit side was flavorful. I also loved the Chai Latte with almond milk, served in a real ceramic mug. The servers and host were friendly with genuine smiles, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The dishes I tried, like the classic breakfast and 2x2x2, were VERY tasty and a good amount of food. If I wasn't leaving town, I'd be eager to come back and try something new. The selection of french toast and eggs benedict was also impressive. While I didn't experience the parking situation as we walked there, it seemed limited. Overall, Eggsburgh offers fantastic food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back soon! 😅👍🏾👍🏾
