D J Coffee Shop

I decided to stop by D J Coffee Shop for breakfast out of curiosity. It's a small, unassuming spot, but as soon as I stepped inside, I felt a warm, friendly, and homey vibe. The staff were polite, chatty, and cheerful, which made me want to stay longer. I ordered the sirloin steak and eggs meal with pancakes, and to my surprise, the food arrived within 15 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I was hesitant at first, but after reading a review about their amazing waffles, I had to try them, and they really delivered. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage was quite good too. With only a 30-minute lunch break, I was impressed that the food came out hot and ready in under 10 minutes. It's a great place to grab a quick bite. While I found the steak a bit too charred on the outside, masking some of its flavor, everything else we ordered, like the omelette, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes, was excellent. If you’re in town, you should definitely check it out. The waitresses were nice and attentive, greeting us warmly as soon as we walked in. Although the steak wasn’t my favorite, overall, it was a satisfying visit.

Love this place! I went to Jerry's Cafe for breakfast in San Bernardino, and it was a fantastic experience. I took three friends with me, and everyone adored their food. I had the Chile Verde Pork burrito, which was outstanding, and the crepes were so delicious that we ordered a second round to share for dessert. We discovered Jerry's while in the area after my daughter's soccer game, just five minutes from the fields. Seeing the packed parking lot was a good sign. Even though the cafe is small and quaint, we didn't have to wait long for a booth, which was great because my daughters were starving after their game. We had a bit of a wait for our server but decided to order everything at once. We got mozzarella sticks, strawberry & banana Nutella crepes, chicken country fried steak, and a cheese omelet. The place was bustling, so delays were expected, but it was totally worth it. The food was phenomenal, with big portions and amazing flavor. My daughter loved her crepe so much that it vanished before the waitress even returned. Prices are reasonable, especially for the generous portion sizes. I’ve spent more at chain breakfast spots for less satisfying meals. The atmosphere is cozy, the inside has been nicely remodeled, and the seating is comfortable. Even though they're still smoothing out some service kinks with the new team, it didn’t affect the overall experience. With a party of nine, including drinks, we spent less than $20 per person, which is a steal for such quality food. Jerry's is a local gem, and it’s clear the community loves it. There’s parking in the back, so don’t be fooled by the front view. Though it’s a small spot, the food and friendly staff make it well worth any wait. I'll definitely be coming back as a regular. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

I visited Lesley Bakery 2 for breakfast in San Bernardino and was blown away by their tamales and sweet bread. The tamales are the best in town—juicy, flavorful, and never dry. You can really taste the freshness. Even late in the afternoon, they have fresh, hot batches ready to go. The portion sizes are generous and well-prepared, ensuring consistent quality every time. The sweet bread is also a highlight, with a fresh taste in every bite. The staff is pleasant, polite, and efficient, making the overall experience even better. While they offer a range of drinks and other food options like burritos and tortas, the real stars are the tamales and pan dulce. This place has been a favorite of mine since 2016, and it's great to see that their quality has remained top-notch over the years.

I visited Las Cuatro Milpas for breakfast in San Bernardino after hearing so much about it on Facebook, and I have to say, it was worth the hype. I got there around 8:30 AM and the line was already long, which I took as a good sign. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the wait a bit easier. I tried a variety of items from their menu: tamales, menudo, and both types of tortillas—harina and maiz. What really stood out to me were the tamales, especially the masa. It was flavorful and had the perfect texture, something I can't wait to try using in my homemade tamales. The tamales were packed with meat, clean and lean, which is always a plus. Their burritos were another highlight; they were absolutely delicious and filling. As for the tacos, I only needed two since they were huge and satisfying. It's clear that everything is homemade with a lot of care, which makes all the difference. I left pretty full and content with the experience. I'm thankful to the staff for their hard work, especially knowing they start early to prepare everything fresh. Las Cuatro Milpas has definitely earned its reputation, and I'll definitely be back for more.

Marshall Donuts & Ice Cream has become my go-to breakfast spot in San Bernardino, hands down. Their donuts are simply the best in town, with a huge variety and a taste that never disappoints. The prices are reasonable, and the warm, friendly service always makes my day. Whether I’m grabbing one of their delicious egg & sausage croissant sandwiches or indulging in a ham and cheese croissant, the quality is consistently top-notch. Every sandwich I've tried here is the BEST, and that crispy croissant is just the cherry on top. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't regret it!

Cafe Organix is truly one of the best vegan spots in the Inland Empire. The atmosphere is amazing; the place is adorned with beautiful artwork, including a detailed ceiling that adds a unique touch. The menu is packed with flavorful, creative dishes that redefine plant-based dining. The portions are generous and absolutely delicious, making it a foodie’s paradise. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the owners are just awesome people. It's a great place to dine whether you're vegan or not. I love that businesses like Cafe Organix are thriving in our community, especially when the food is this scrumptious. We tried the mamba burger, tacos, and French toast, and every bite was a flavorful journey. While we did encounter a little hiccup with the availability of drinks and vegan chicken, the experience was still worthwhile. The young server was sweet and handled it all with grace despite some communication gaps from management. I appreciate their efforts to meet dietary restrictions with all lactose-free options. Though the food can be on the pricier side, the portion size and taste make it worth it. It’s a wonderful spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. I hope they bring back their happy hour for college students and keep up the great work. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

We absolutely loved Crestline Cafe for breakfast! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a brunch outing with a friend. The customer service was amazing, and a big thank you to Roxy for taking care of us. The full stack blueberry pancakes, over medium eggs, sausage, and hash browns were all fantastic and really hit the spot. Although my machaca wasn’t as tender as I prefer, the coffee was good, and the Eggs Benedict, after a quick fix to cook them properly, turned out delicious. Amber, who was training a new server, came over to ensure everything was up to par, and her attention to detail made our visit even better. The decor was festive, adding to the charm of this quaint mountain café. Portions were large, prices were reasonable, and overall, it seems to be a popular local spot. Despite a few minor hiccups, the food and friendly atmosphere will definitely bring us back to try more of their menu.

Visiting Black Bear Diner in Colton for breakfast was an absolute delight. We tried a variety of breakfast dishes, including the Grizz and California Benedict, plus some chicken from the kids' menu. Everything was delicious, although I did find the pancakes a bit dense and the grits on the watery side for my taste. However, the presentation of each dish was visually appealing. What truly stood out was the phenomenal service. The staff was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. On a previous visit, I was so impressed with the charming menu paper that I asked to keep it and now it complements my kitchen decor perfectly—my husband, a chef for 35 years, appreciated it too. After a long trip, visiting this diner was the perfect choice, and I'm thrilled with every aspect of the experience. The service from Shanice was exceptional, and the care put into the food was evident. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially their banana cream pie, which is an absolute must-try. The positive atmosphere, coupled with amazing food and service, earns Black Bear Diner top marks in my book. I'll be spreading the word about this gem in Colton, CA!

I discovered Goody's Diner at the Pilot truck stop in Colton, CA, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The diner opens early at 6 AM, which was perfect for my schedule since I needed to be at the office by 7 AM. Over my three-day stay in the area, I chose to eat breakfast there after an excellent first meal. The service was notable, with Maria at the counter being exceptionally nice and attentive. I enjoyed an omelet with sausage, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and avocado, which was delicious and well-prepared. Despite the diner's excellent food and service, it wasn't very busy, possibly due to its older appearance and need for decor updates. However, the quality of the food and the warm service more than made up for it. I plan to return on my next trip to the area in a month. If you're looking for a hearty, tasty breakfast with friendly service, Goody's at the Pilot truck stop is definitely worth a visit.

His interactions with all the guests were genuinely pleasant, a refreshing change after some less-than-stellar experiences elsewhere over the weekend. The staff here is great, and their friendliness really stood out. The food was excellent, especially my soft scrambled eggs, which were prepared just the way I like. The dining area is big, and despite the full parking lot, I got seated quickly, even on a busy Sunday morning. Overall, the meal was nice and the service was beyond expectations. I left satisfied and appreciative of the effort put into making my breakfast enjoyable.

George's Burger in San Bernardino is a true gem! From the warm welcome to the last bite, the experience was exceptional. I've been eating at George's for over 20 years, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious with generous portions. Prices have gone up, like everywhere else, but the quality and quantity are just as good as ever. The burger was a flavor explosion—juicy and perfectly cooked. And those fries? Crispy perfection. I couldn’t resist finishing every bite. I had two chili cheese fries and my wife had the buffalo wings; the food was great, and the service was awesome, with a smile. They close the dining area at 8, so it's take-out and drive-through after that, but inside is nice when you dine in earlier. Overall, a fantastic experience. Five stars without a doubt! The picture of my empty plate says it all! 10 stars!

Wow, you absolutely cannot beat a $3.99 breakfast burrito here, especially with the choice of three meats. It was massive and definitely worth going out of your way to stop by. The restaurant was clean and smelled fresh, which is always a plus. While the service wasn't the best— the gentleman at the counter seemed more interested in chatting with his coworker than helping customers— the food made up for it. I didn't get any suggestions for my order, but the burrito ended up having great flavor and was huge compared to others I've tried. For California, the price is unbeatable. The place was very clean, which I appreciate, and I do plan to come back, though I won't expect top-notch service. I also tried the five tacos with guacamole, and though they tasted a bit stale, the chili relleno was good despite being smaller than expected. This place can be hit or miss depending on what you order. Today, we came in for the chili verde wet burrito with cheese, and it was big enough for us to share. It was very tasty, and I highly recommend it.

I had a great experience at Panera Bread for breakfast in San Bernardino. They initially messed up my order, but the manager was incredibly kind, replacing it and even waiving the cost. I was really thankful for that gesture. Their salads are excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I definitely plan to return! My coworkers surprised me with a 1/2 "grilled" cheese and soup for my birthday. Although the sandwich wasn't up to par, with cold cheese and untoasted bread, I appreciated the thought behind it. On another occasion, I mistakenly placed an order for the wrong date. The team went above and beyond to help me get the order on time, including adding the coffee totes I had forgotten. I'm truly grateful for their assistance—10/10 recommended. It's always smart to double-check your orders to avoid inconveniencing the wonderful staff here. The place is always tidy, and they efficiently manage to put out orders in a timely manner. I appreciate the consistent quality of their offerings. Finding decent bagels in the desert is a challenge, but Panera delivers, and I love that they don't wrap them in plastic, keeping the crust nice and crunchy.

Einstein Bros. Bagels in San Bernardino is a charming spot for breakfast. Even though the store is small and some items sell out quickly, the bagels are consistently delicious. I really love their applewood bacon sandwich, even if it wasn’t perfect this time around. Although I wish the cheese was melted and the bacon stood out more, it didn't stop me from enjoying my meal. One thing I hope for is a location closer to me, without the hefty parking fee – that would be amazing! The team working there is friendly, and I appreciate their effort even when it gets busy. While I've noticed that using the app to skip lines doesn't always save time, it’s still a helpful tool for ordering in advance. I did have to wait a bit longer than expected for my sandwich, but I understand mornings can be hectic. I’m hopeful my next visit will be smoother because I genuinely enjoy the food they offer. Overall, it's a convenient and tasty breakfast option that I look forward to visiting again.

Serrano Vista Cafe in San Bernardino is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The coffee is simply amazing—every refill is as fresh and satisfying as the last. We tried the Shrimp Po Boy and the Tri Tip sandwich, and both were delicious. I also ordered the Asian spicy wings, which came out perfectly crispy, just as I requested. Our server, Michael, was friendly and attentive, anticipating our needs without us having to ask. Mackenzie, another server, was professional and attentive as well. I truly appreciated her remembering me from a previous visit; her personable and caring demeanor made our dining experience even better. This was our second perfect experience with Mackenzie, who has exceptional customer service skills. She absolutely deserves 5 stars. The menu offers a variety of flavorful and tasty dishes. I've eaten here several times, and both the service and food have been consistently great. It's usually necessary to make a reservation because it's a popular spot. One of my favorite dishes here is the spaghetti and meatballs, which features giant meatballs and garlic cheese toast. The sandwiches and burgers are also fantastic. Although I used to love their asada fries, I noticed the price has increased and the quality has decreased. Nevertheless, the staff and overall environment are always pleasant, and I love the fresh roses on display.

Gus Jr in San Bernardino is hands down one of the best fast food spots I’ve been to. Their menu is extensive and everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, especially the fries—seriously, they’re amazing. The place offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the breakfast burrito with sausage is a great choice for $9.59. The red salsa they serve with it is delicious. The drive-thru is convenient; it easily accommodated my full-size pickup truck. Service here is always quick and friendly. The interior is small, so I imagine it could get busy, but everything is clean and well-maintained. I’ve noticed some people prefer to park and go inside to order, which works well. I’ve been a long-time fan of Gus Jr., and this location has the same large menu with reasonable prices. It’s right across from my church, making it a perfect spot to stop by. The Pastrami Dinner is huge—enough for sharing. If you’re nearby, definitely check them out; it’s worth it. On October 3, 2021, I walked in and ordered two monster fish dinners to go. The staff was friendly, the prices were good, and the service was fast. Each meal, priced at $15, included two huge pieces of fish, fries, onion rings, fried zucchini, salad, and cheesy garlic toast. The salad was the standout, followed by the fries and toast. While the fried items were a bit heavy on the breading, the meals overall were enjoyable and filling. It’s just not something I could eat often due to the carbs and deep frying, but it’s a treat worth trying.

I ordered breakfast for pickup at the Denny's in San Bernardino and, while the food was great, there were a few hiccups. The app didn't notify me when my order was ready, so I had to wait about 15 minutes when I arrived, as they prioritized seating people in the lobby. When the manager finally came out, he seemed unaware of the situation. I double-checked my order because it's often incorrect, and was glad the food was delicious despite a small wait. Christina, our waitress, was friendly and attentive even though they seemed short-staffed. The overall experience was mixed, with some room for improvement, especially in communication and cleanliness both inside and outside. While the food quality was good, it's unfortunate that this experience wasn't better, and it might be some time before I consider visiting this location again.
