Rhino Coffee Uptown is an awesome spot for breakfast in Shreveport. Their coffee is fantastic, and the Lightning iced coffee is my favorite. I also enjoyed the Thunder, which is less sweet but still really good. I ended up visiting several days in a row and even bought a t-shirt because I loved the vibe so much. The place is pretty inside, and the staff is super friendly, making every visit pleasant. While it does stay busy and the parking can be a bit challenging, it’s absolutely worth it. I tried the location on Texas, but this one is definitely more comfortable and enjoyable for me. My first visit here was seriously great. I placed an online order for pickup and tried the breakfast burrito with a Lightning iced coffee. The order was ready on time, and the additions of greens, jalapeños, avocado, and spinach to the burrito made it perfect. It's a filling and healthy meal, which is a big plus. Parking can be tricky during busy hours, but parking across the street and walking over is easy enough since the street isn’t busy. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and everything is clean, including the bathrooms. Prices are decent for the quality of food and coffee you get. I've come back many times. The cheddar jalapeño egg & cheese biscuit was another standout – very filling, and you can really taste the jalapeños. Though a bit oily, it's what you'd expect from eating out. For a healthier option, the burrito is a great choice. The prices are reasonable, around $6 for a biscuit, which is great value for how good everything tastes. The staff are consistently friendly and quick. They roast their own coffee, so it's always fresh. And the baked goods? Fabulous across the board. If you're near any Rhino Coffee location and need a caffeine fix, definitely stop in and grab a pastry, cookie, biscuit, or sandwich. The space has a Starbucks-like vibe, making it popular for college study groups. Overall, this place never disappoints.

We arrived late, but Chelsey didn't skip a beat and provided my daughter and me with top-notch service—never rushing us and making us feel right at home. So, if you're looking for a new breakfast spot, look no further! My wife and I made our first visit today, and I'm here to share my experience. We walked in around noon. The parking lot was a bit confusing in the rain, but once inside, everything was spot-on. The atmosphere is well-kept, clean, and inviting. We were seated right away, with plenty of tables and booths available. We were lucky to have Jennifer as our server. She truly understands food and her role—qualities we value. Honestly, she should be training other staff. I opted for the "Bacquezo® Omelette" with City Grits, thanks to Jennifer's recommendation. The omelette was all about chorizo, cheese, and perfectly cooked fluffy eggs. If you're a fan of chorizo, this dish is a must-try. They nailed it. Before diving into the omelette, we indulged in "Biscuit Beignets" drenched in powdered sugar and paired with a marmalade that brought back fond memories. These are not your typical New Orleans beignets; they're even better in my book. On the coffee front, I sampled both the medium and dark roasts. While they were drinkable, neither was quite up to my standards. But it's worth noting that I'm quite picky about coffee. Both were better than average café coffee, and they serve real half-and-half, which is a win. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the coffee. The medium roast lacks the complexity I expect, and the dark roast is a bit heavy on the burnt flavor. However, these are minor issues for most, and they don't take away from the overall experience. I deducted a star for the coffee, but I'm notoriously tough. Most patrons won't mind. I didn't have time to explore the rest of the venue but plan to on a return visit. In closing, you should definitely try this place. The menu is extensive, and it'll take multiple visits just to scratch the surface. Don't miss out!

The hype is real! Strawn's Eat Shop offers a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere and outstanding service. The staff really takes care of you, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. On my visit, I tried the burger, fries, and coconut pie, all of which were fantastic. I can't wait to return to try the legendary strawberry pie and explore their daily lunch specials. This place truly delivers comfort food at its finest. Their chicken and dumplings are absolutely amazing—comforting, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. But the standout is definitely their strawberry pie. It's easily one of the best pies I've ever had, with just the right amount of sweetness and fresh strawberry flavor. Don't miss their chicken fried steak either; it's cooked to perfection with a crispy outside and tender inside. The employees are constantly on the move, making sure everything is in order. I was particularly impressed when our server brought over syrup and butter even before the pancakes arrived, being super proactive. The short-order cooks here are phenomenal. Our breakfast came out incredibly fast and everything was cooked perfectly. The two-patty cheeseburger is a real challenge to tackle; it's a delicious, fresh burger that's beautifully prepared. I love the diner vibe, complete with wall-drawn art, and those pies are nationally recognized for a reason. The cream is thick and delicious, and I'm better off not knowing the calorie count! There's ample parking, and the hands-on manager who was helping bus tables added a nice touch. We stopped by while passing through Shreveport on a cross-country road trip. I found Strawn's online, attracted by its good ratings and local charm. Despite it being packed with the after-church crowd, we were seated quickly and served promptly. Our server was friendly and never rushed us. Everything we ordered was served hot and exactly as requested. Strawn's Eat Shop is a five-star local gem, thanks to its friendly and fast service, inviting environment, and high-quality dishes. I highly recommend it and would definitely eat there again.

Whenever we visit family in Shreveport, Another Broken Egg Cafe is always on our list. The Eggs Benedict are my favorite, and both of us can't get enough of the beignets. Upon arrival, Thomas was our host and he made us feel so welcome with his wonderful hospitality. Our server, Logan, was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. This was our first time trying the place, and Kellie went above and beyond with her customer service. She took the time to explain the menu to us, and I ended up ordering the Bacquezo omelette with city grits, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. Kellie was attentive and even suggested the French toast, which turned out to be amazing. It was a fantastic start to my 28th birthday! At the bar, Jen and Kelly did a wonderful job. They were friendly and attentive, ensuring my beverage was always refilled promptly. I highly recommend Another Broken Egg Cafe on Line Ave; it truly doesn't disappoint. We're already looking forward to our next breakfast there.

First things first, let's talk about parking! Following their instructions was a breeze. You just head over to the 501 parking lot at the light, and you can park for free in spots 41 to 52. There's even a sign on their window to guide you. If you need handicap parking or are in a wheelchair, it's really easy to navigate. Now that's out of the way, let's get to the cafe! You can walk in and grab any open seat at a table or the bar. The setting benefits from natural lighting, which gives it a warm, welcoming vibe. There are plenty of tables, and they can be pushed together for larger parties. The exposed brick walls and skylight add a nice touch. The food? Absolutely delicious! It came out quickly and was served piping hot. I tried the candied bacon, which had this perfect mix of sweetness and a spicy kick. The coffee was good, and if you ask, they have vanilla-flavored liquid cream. Tammy, our server, was fantastic. She was sweet, always made sure our coffee cups were full, and checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything. It's that kind of service that stands out to me. If you're in the area, definitely give The Glass Hat Cafe a try! When we travel away from Houston, we love supporting local spots, and this place proves why it's worth it—better customer service and a unique charm. It's under 10 miles from any of the casinos off the river, making it super convenient if you're staying nearby. The atmosphere here is great, like a new restaurant with an old-town bistro feel. The Millionaire Breakfast was packed with flavor, and although the waffles are on the smaller side, they’re delicious enough to have two or three if you're feeling hungry. The place has a nice vibe, and the waitresses are attentive and friendly. All in all, the food was very good, the people were genuinely nice, and Ms. Tammy made sure I was well taken care of the whole time. So if you're thinking about stopping by, don't hesitate—just go. I'll definitely be back soon! This place is absolutely worth the stop for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our brunch at Up For Brunch Cafe in Shreveport. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and our server was incredibly friendly. The food came out super fast, which was impressive. The brunch beignets were yummy, and we tried the brunch rolls, breakfast tacos, bagel sandwich, and French toast—all good choices. The breakfast potatoes were definitely above average and stood out. While the savory dishes could have used a bit more seasoning, and I would have appreciated real lemon or lime wedges for the drinks, we were overall very happy with our meal. The cafe has a cozy, uplifting, and friendly atmosphere, making it the cutest restaurant ever. The staff were attentive and made our visit enjoyable. There's a sauce they serve with some items that's just so good! The adult beverages didn’t disappoint either. We went at 9 am on a Saturday with three friends and didn’t have to wait, which was nice. Kim, our waitress, was kind, funny, and helpful, offering great local shopping suggestions that we took advantage of. Sitting outside was a pleasant experience, even with the nearby interstate. Up for Brunch is a great spot to meet up with friends and family. The ambiance was perfect, and the food was fantastic. I had the chicken and waffles, which really hit the spot, while my daughter loved her shrimp and grits. My nephew's French toast was really good, and I'm looking forward to trying it next time. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

My friends and I were looking for something different for breakfast, so we decided to try Southfield Grill in Shreveport. I have to say, it's definitely a 10/10 experience! The chicken & dumplings, turnip greens, fried squash, beans, and cornbread were delightful. Although I didn’t get to try the pancakes, they looked amazing. The butter beans were a standout for me—absolutely delicious. The okra and tomatoes also hit the spot once I added a bit of salt and pepper. The restaurant might not be fancy, but when you're there to enjoy a good meal, that hardly matters. Their cubed potatoes, which they call "hash browns," are so tasty, and the biscuits taste just like homemade. The service was impressively fast, and the servers were cheerful and attentive. My companion tried the plate lunch special, which changes daily, and was more than satisfied, leaving some food behind because the portions were so generous. Overall, Southfield Grill is a great place for breakfast or any meal. Just a heads-up, they’re closed on Mondays.

After hearing so many recommendations, I finally decided to try Strawn's Eat Shop Too for breakfast, and I'm really glad I did! The food was fantastic and affordable, and the service was incredibly friendly. My server was excellent, making the experience enjoyable and quick—our whole meal for three people took about 30 minutes, which is the fastest service I've had in a long time. While I wish I had jelly with my toast and my veggies cooked into my omelette, these were minor issues. The pie and milk I had were delicious, and my cousin was right about the strawberry ice box pie—it was truly tasty. I enjoyed a vegetarian omelette with feta cheese and hash browns, but the highlight was definitely the pie. The seasonal peach pie, topped with loads of homemade whipped cream, was fresh and packed with peachy flavor. Even though I arrived late, the place wasn't crowded, and the self-select seating made things easy. The waitress got my half-and-half iced tea quickly, and I went with the Friday special. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the specials. I would definitely return and recommend Strawn's Eat Shop Too to others, especially for their amazing pies.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience at First Watch in Shreveport. The Floridian French Toast was superb! Our server was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the coffee pot and quart of water left on our table for easy refills. The menu focuses on healthier options, but it doesn’t sacrifice the joy of a delightful brunch. I ended up choosing the trifecta: two cage-free eggs, pork sausage, and French toast with a side of regular toast. The service was outstanding, and checking the website for the waiting list helped us get seated in just about 5 minutes, even though it was busy. I wish I had visited sooner because the food is great! The location is very clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Wait times were around 20 minutes, which wasn’t too bad. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more items on their menu. It’s definitely my favorite brunch spot, especially on Sundays with my mom. The food is amazing!

I visited the Waffle House in Shreveport for breakfast and had a pretty good experience overall. The food was delicious, and you really can't beat the value. The portions are generous, and everything is reasonably priced, which is classic Waffle House. The waffles, though tasty, could have been a bit crisper, but that's just a minor thing. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially the waitress, who was proactive in ensuring everything was cooked to perfection. She even had the eggs remade because she wasn't satisfied with how they first came out, which I appreciated. While there were some minor hiccups with communication and checkout, the staff made an effort to resolve the issues. Despite some challenges, the atmosphere was welcoming. The friendliness of the staff stood out, and their dedication to customer satisfaction was clear. Breakfast at IHOP in Shreveport was a delightful experience. The food is usually great, and our waitress, Tiffany (I think that's her name), was exceptional in ensuring our meals were perfect and promptly served. The only minor issue is that it can feel a bit chilly inside at times. After a medical fasting at Highlands, my husband asked where I wanted to eat, and IHOP was an easy choice. I wasn't disappointed—the food was wonderful and the service stellar, all in a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the country steak breakfast, and it was perfect: country fried steak covered in white gravy, eggs on the side, and of course, pancakes. I absolutely love their pancakes. This IHOP location is a definite recommendation. We were quickly seated by friendly staff and served coffee right away. The wait for our meals was short, making it an even more enjoyable visit. Although it was our first time at this location, having usually gone to the KC one near us, the food and service here were superior. I'd suggest retraining the hostesses to be a bit more welcoming, but overall, we were pleased. The crepes were wonderful, and the hash browns were spot on. We will definitely be back!
