Tony greeted us warmly and ended up being our server, offering fantastic recommendations with great menu knowledge. We decided on the Wyatt Earp Benedict and the Corned Beef and Eggs, and wow, were they flavorful. I even snapped some photos, but they don't do justice to the taste. I washed it all down with one of the best prickly pear margaritas I've ever had. Baja Cafe definitely stands apart from chain restaurants. The food is consistently excellent and worth every penny. Our server was friendly and efficient, which added to the experience, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. The entire breakfast was amazing, and the presentation of the dishes was top-notch. I highly recommend this spot if you’re hunting for a great breakfast joint in Tucson. You truly get what you pay for, and it’s fulfilling. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. It's worth any wait you might encounter because the food and portions are incredible, making it a must-try in Tucson. My personal favorite is the Brisket Caramelo. The combination of brisket with red chili and topped with green chili and poached eggs is an explosion of flavors that I can't resist. It's rare for me not to finish a meal, but the portions here are so generous that you'll likely have leftovers to enjoy later, which isn't a bad thing at all!

Cappy's Breakfast Cafe is a true gem in Tucson. From the outside, it may look like your basic breakfast spot, but once you're inside, you'll understand why it has such a high rating. The service is outstanding, delivered by a family-owned establishment that truly cares about its customers. The food is fantastic, with plenty of Mexican-inspired dishes to choose from. On my visit, I ordered a ham and cheese omelet that was massive, and I also got cheese on my hash browns, which were done perfectly. They even have grits, which is a rarity that scores extra points from me. My first visit was memorable, with reasonable prices for generous portions. I tried the chicken fried steak, which was tasty, although a bit crunchy for my liking, but my friend loved it so much he took half home. The cafe was busy and a bit loud, but that just shows how popular it is. The service remained quick and friendly despite the crowd. On another occasion, my husband and I had breakfast there, and it felt like a home-cooked meal. I had cheese enchiladas with eggs on top, while my husband enjoyed chilaquiles. When I visited First Watch for breakfast in Tucson, I had a fantastic experience. Their seasonal Blueberry Lemon cornbread was amazing, and I highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes. I enjoy dining in more than ordering delivery, as the portions in-store are much more satisfying. For instance, when I ordered delivery, the portions were much smaller, and the experience wasn’t as great. Dining in is a delight! I've been a few times a month, and it’s always good. I usually order ahead and take away, but eating in the restaurant is just as enjoyable. During my last visit, we tried the turkey burger with greens, and the southwestern special with fresh juice. The service was a bit slow, but still excellent. We were served by Amber, who made sure everything was perfect. On a busy Sunday, there was a brief wait, but the line moved quickly, and they texted us when our table was ready. We started with Holey Donuts and Million Dollar Bacon—the bacon truly lived up to its name. Moving on to the specials, the Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast was fresh, sharp, sweet, and complex. The Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl was outstanding, definitely a standout dish. Overall, First Watch offers a great breakfast experience with a menu full of tasty options.

As many times as I’ve driven past this place, how did I miss this sign? "Monday to Friday Special $4.01 — 1 egg, 2 pancakes, 1 bacon or 1 sausage." I'm really glad I finally stopped by the Breakfast Stop Family Restaurant for breakfast in Tucson. It's a nice, clean spot with a real family feel, and the waitstaff is delightful. I went for the $4.01 special, and my buddy chose his favorite eggs and hash browns, which were priced around $5.69. Both meals were well-prepared, delicious, and left us satisfied without putting a dent in our wallets. I couldn't help but notice some of the other orders coming out—especially the club sandwich, which looked amazing. The service was great, the coffee hit the spot, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. While I found the biscuits and gravy not to my taste and the Mexican hash a bit mushy, the kiddo loved their chicken strips, even if we initially thought it would be a grilled piece. The fries were nicely seasoned and cooked just right. The restaurant goes for a bare-bones diner decor, but there's a good amount of parking and plenty of regulars, which suggests consistency in food and service. Everything was fresh, hot, and served quickly. I visited with my partner and his daughter, and although we didn't check out the restroom, we noticed a sign about a key for access. This place was amazing! You have to try the Craig skillet—it’s so good! My nephew had the chili burger with tater tots, and I didn't think tater tots could be that delicious, but the whole thing was excellent. I even tried it myself! Old Times Kafe is a classic Tucson American diner, and our family has been coming here since the 1980s. We always make it a point to gather here for a brunch during our family reunions with a party of 10-20, and they handle us wonderfully every time. Our server, Toni, was delightful, and I hope we all gave her a huge tip. This diner offers the perfect family experience, reminding me of family road trips in the ’90s. There’s a huge selection of food on the menu, and the prices ensure no one leaves hungry. The hardest part is deciding what to eat with so many delicious choices for breakfast and lunch, all presented with care by the friendly staff. Old Times Kafe is one of the oldest family-run restaurants in Tucson, opened in 1986, and I will most certainly be back. We came for a late breakfast and had a really nice experience. The food was very good, and both the iced tea and coffee were excellent. Service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly. My husband’s coffee cup was kept full, and the employees were welcoming despite being busy. We never felt neglected, and the menu variety is quite extensive with reasonable prices and generous portions. The restaurant was very clean, and the new AC was working great! Parking was ample and easy to get in and out. We’ll be back.

Susy and Andy, our servers, were awesome and super attentive. The front-end manager could be friendlier, but we keep coming back because the owner is very nice, the food is tasty, and Susy and Andy make our visits enjoyable. They have a Mexican menu that’s really good. I totally recommend it. The breakfast was delicious, although it can get busy since it's a small dine-in spot, and they could use more servers. If you love waffles, you have to try the strawberry cream waffle — it’s a must! We stopped by after dropping someone at the airport, and it was the best decision. Their huevos rancheros were probably the best meal we’ve had all week, with amazing sauce and perfectly cooked eggs. Other breakfasts are just as good. Highly recommend this place!

We had just arrived at Sunny Daze Café for breakfast with family visiting from out of state, and I must say, it was a great choice. Our server was nice and friendly, which set a welcoming tone for our meal. The juices we ordered were refreshing, and the food was fresh and delicious. The café was clean, especially the bathrooms, which were well-maintained. This was my first time here, and it turned out to be a lovely family affair. Everyone left full and happy, especially after having the Mushroom Burger, which was truly satisfying. It's a reminder that one less-than-perfect visit doesn't define the entire experience, and this place clearly has a solid team that takes pride in what they do. We visited on a Wednesday morning around 9 am, and while we didn't have a 'special' experience, it was easy to see why so many people love this café. The food was really good, with generous portions. The staff was excellent, particularly Madison, who was very helpful with our questions and provided top-notch service. It's a must-visit spot, and the coffee is great too. I tried the chilaquiles, and they were among the best I've ever had. The coffee hit the spot, the ambiance was beautiful, and the vibes were just right.
