My impressions are based partly on assumptions, as I was picking up orders for Uber Eats on a Sunday, and the place was packed. The staff was very friendly, and I assume the food is pretty good because there were people coming in and out for hours. I picked up several orders delivered anywhere from 5 to 15 miles away. On a weekend morning or maybe even during the week, I'm going to bring my wife there and try it out, and then I’ll update this review.

The blueberry pancakes were truly incredible, really hitting the spot. Despite the price being on the higher side, the quality of the food was evident. My daughter's meal, though, was a concern. She was served spoiled chocolate milk, and when I pointed it out, the server insisted it wasn't expired. This wasn't handled well, but I'm hopeful it's an isolated incident. On a positive note, the staff overall was attentive and pleasant, and they serve exceptional locally-produced Nodine’s bacon, which is a standout. I've been visiting Dottie's for about a year now, and their specials are consistently excellent. The various French toasts are absolute must-tries, especially the banana bread and blueberry cinnamon crumb. Their egg casserole platter is hearty and satisfying. This diner is a gem for those who appreciate good food and can overlook the political flair.
