I had a really enjoyable breakfast at Denny's in West Covina. The staff is incredibly friendly and ensures you have a pleasant experience. My favorites are Oyuki, Norma, and Lily, who always greet with a smile and provide excellent service. The place is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Although there were some minor hiccups during my visit—like a milkshake that never arrived and hash browns delivered instead of fries—the overall experience was still positive. The Oreo cookie shake I did get was delicious and just the right size for the price. For the food, the portions were a bit smaller than some other locations, but the flavors didn’t disappoint. I absolutely loved the flamin' 5 pepper burger, which I made into a double with jalapeños. That burger hit the spot! The cheesecake was also quite sumptuous. They don't seem to advertise or offer specials, which is a shame because more people should know about this place. The servers are fantastic—friendly and efficient. They make the experience even better, especially when it's busy. We went on Easter morning, and even though it wasn't too crowded around 12:30, the staff was prompt and seated us right away. The restaurant was clean, and service was quick. We spent $80 for a family of four, and while the food was decent, some items felt like basic, reheated fare. The zucchini bread stood out as a highlight. Overall, Dollies is a cozy spot for breakfast with reasonable prices, and the All-American menu hits the spot.
