I visited You & I Kitchen for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant has a nice, quiet atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. We enjoyed our meals and are definitely planning to come back to try more of their offerings. I had fried Ramen for the first time, and it was tasty! I also ordered two Vietnamese sandwiches, which were absolutely amazing—truly next level. You’ll reconsider ever eating a simple ham and cheese sandwich again! This restaurant is a must-try for anyone who loves good food. The young lady at the register was very kind, cheerful, and polite, which made the customer service experience excellent. I appreciated that they use ribeye steak and that the broth has a great flavor. The place is clean, and they thoughtfully cut the meatballs into bite-sized pieces for kids. However, for the quantity, it might be more economical to order a regular pho and split it. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pho was—my friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, and the decorations added a nice touch to the setting. I highly recommend this spot for those craving some good Vietnamese food!

Kolache Time at Hruska's Kolaches was a delightful breakfast experience in West Jordan. While it's not quite the Czech Stop from West Texas, it's a close second, especially when I'm 23 hours away from Texas. The Texan vibe is great, and the sausage, egg, and cheese jalapeño kolache was spot on! My friend tried the vegetarian option and loved it, so there's something for everyone. This place is a hidden gem! The hot sauces are fiery and add just the right kick. Hruska's deserves the hype. Their kolaches, made fresh daily, are a tasty blend of soft dough and flavorful fillings. I loved the strawberry and Nutella combo on the sweet side, and their savory rolls, like the bacon, egg, and cheese, were perfect. They even offer meatless options for those who prefer or need it. The only downside is they sell out quickly, especially on busy days like Black Friday, so it's best to go early. A half-dozen will set you back about $15, but they're worth every penny. If you're in the Wasatch Front area, make sure to stop by one of their locations. After living nearby for years, I'm glad I finally discovered what a kolache is, and it was worth the wait! For under $10, you can get a hearty breakfast that will keep you going all morning. 10/10 experience. Get the Tex and sausage, egg, cheese kolaches. Best breakfast ever! I wish I could eat here every day.

My friend and I decided to try Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii in West Jordan because we both appreciate strong coffee, and boy, did it deliver! The name suggests boldness, and the coffee lived up to it. We spent a leisurely couple of hours there, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. If you're in search of a good cup of coffee, I highly recommend this place. The ambiance is great, with a cool Hawaiian theme, and the coffee is really good. I appreciate that when I asked for my drink to be not too sweet, they got it just right, which is rare for me. The shop was super clean, and there were lots of groups of friends hanging out, adding to the lively vibe. Living nearby, I may be a bit biased, but I've tried many coffee shops in the valley, and this is my favorite. The staff is super friendly—they even knew my name within the first week! Their service is fast, and mobile ordering is a breeze. My girlfriend often orders for me, which adds a fun touch when I get coffees with her name on them. I highly recommend trying the Koffee Kooler; it's a unique and delicious twist on blended coffee. Although the sandwich and Hazelnut Hula blended drink weren't exactly to my taste, the cashier's friendly recommendations were appreciated. Overall, despite the small hiccup with the food, the welcoming vibe and quality coffee make Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii a standout spot that I would definitely recommend.

Rise by Good Day in West Jordan is a hidden gem that offers a delightful Polish market and eatery experience. The variety of traditional Polish snacks and mixes is impressive, and the food truly stands out. The kielbasa and Polish dog were excellent, and the meatballs with gravy and mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had. While the Chicago dog was mostly bun and toppings, with a small hot dog, the rest of the offerings made up for it. I particularly enjoyed the potato and cheddar pierogis—a classic favorite—and the pickle pizza, which was surprisingly delicious. The sweets were charming and tasted good, although they seemed a bit stale, likely because I visited at the end of the day. The Gypsy and Dragon zapiekanka were both delicious, and I'm excited to try more food from their menu. The store also stocks an array of products from Poland, which is great for those looking to explore or revisit Polish cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. It wasn't very busy during my visit, which is surprising given the quality of the food. The location might make it a bit hard to find unless you're specifically looking for it, but it's definitely worth the effort. I highly recommend checking this place out and supporting them. I'll definitely be back for more meatballs and kielbasa!

My mom introduced me to this amazing doughnut place in West Jordan, and it truly feels like a hidden gem. They have an incredible variety of doughnuts, with mouth-watering options like Lemon Pie, Salted Caramel, and Cinnamon Sugar. I had to pick up donuts very early, but luckily they open at 6 am, offering a great selection fresh from the oven. The enticing aromas in the morning are a delightful bonus. Their maple bars are the best I’ve ever had, bringing back memories of the Helms Bakery trucks from the 1960s. I do wish they would make more of the specialty fall donuts, as they tend to sell out quickly in the morning. Everyone working there is decent, and the fresh, on-site donuts definitely stand out. If you’re searching for a quality breakfast treat and happen to be nearby, Dunford Bakers is a great stop.

I've made it a mission to find the most delicious sandwich, and this place ranks high on my list! I've sampled a variety of their offerings, including sandwiches, salads, and soups, and they've consistently impressed me. The breakfast sandwich is fresh and really tasty, and the broccoli and cheese soup is simply awesome. Their sandwiches, made with the best bread ever, are not only flavorful but also huge, giving you great value for your money. The salads are equally generous in size, with even the half salad being quite substantial. Although I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't an option to try the loaves of bread they offer in-store, like Cranberry Orange or Cinnamon Raisin, the overall experience makes up for it. The sweets weren't entirely to my taste, as they felt a bit greasy, but that's just a personal preference. Overall, I highly recommend giving Village Baker a try—you won't regret it!

The café has a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly sweet and attentive. I highly recommend trying their desserts; they're super affordable too. On my visit, I ordered a latte, which was just as expected, and I also tried the almond cookies and chocolate-covered macaroons. The coconut macaroons are a sweet treat if you love coconut morsels, and the almond cookies have a delightful texture—crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Although they aren't traditional Chinese-style almond cookies, they are still quite tasty. I did encounter an issue with my initial order of Key Lime Pie and Mix Fruit Cake, which had an off taste. However, the café staff were incredibly accommodating and replaced my order without any hassle, showing great customer service. The almond Swiss chocolate roll was a standout dessert that I enjoyed the most. If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend checking out their turnovers too, which looked delicious. The armchairs could be more comfortable, but overall, it's a great place with fantastic service and yummy desserts.

The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were excellent. I tried the chicken deluxe sandwich, and it was delicious; the Chick-fil-A sauce is definitely addictive. While the person taking orders and the manager handing them out weren't very friendly, the speed and attentiveness of the service made up for it. Our visit to The Original Pancake House in Sandy started off a bit bumpy as we didn't know we needed to sign in through the kiosk. The host wasn’t very welcoming, simply pointing us to the kiosk, which felt a bit rude. Despite this, the food more than made up for it. Our omelettes were tasty, though we were caught off guard by the extra charge for the sourdough and blueberry pancakes, which our waiter hadn't mentioned. The place was bustling and might not be ideal if you're seeking a quiet meal, but the lively atmosphere added to the experience. The bacon was outstanding, the best I've had in years. The manager was very attentive, checking on tables to make sure everyone was satisfied, which was a nice touch. Our server was friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile, and made great recommendations. My teenager loved the bacon pancakes and kept praising the syrup. I opted for the corned beef hash and Pecan pancakes, and the latter were particularly delicious. Although I originally intended to try blintzes, I was happy with the Huevos Rancheros, which were light and perfect for brunch. Josh provided excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch and look forward to coming back.

What a great hidden treasure! This place is an absolute gem for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. We've been there twice now, and it has quickly become a favorite. All the food we've tried has been fantastic, and the drinks are delicious. The service is top-notch, especially with Heather taking care of us—she's phenomenal. During our visits, we got the fried pickle spears (which disappeared before a photo op!), as well as the celestial, ol' man, and pigpen burgers. I had the apeachy cocktail, and it was refreshing and not overly sweet. The burgers were cooked to a perfect medium and came with amazing toppings. The pickle spears were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Portion sizes are generous, so we ended up taking some home each time. This spot is a pretty good restaurant with lots of burger and sandwich options. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $10-$15. They have two sections: one for families and one for the bar, with indoor and outdoor seating available. Just a heads-up, it's a 21 and older establishment, so ID is required at the door. What truly stands out is the grunge yet relaxed atmosphere. Jamming to Rage Against the Machine and Black Keys while enjoying a tasty meal made for an awesome experience. If you're up for a laid-back vibe with delicious food, this place is a must-visit. Plenty of seating options, and they've got a great beer selection, including ciders for gluten-free folks like me. The burgers are mouthwatering—I tried the Pig Pen with in-house smoked bacon and ham, and it was amazing. On my return, the Pastrami and Swiss was just as delightful. I highly recommend checking out this hidden treasure. You're bound to have a great time!

Beans & Brews Coffeehouse in West Jordan is a great spot for breakfast. I had a London Fog, and it was spot-on with just the right balance of sweetness and tea. The sandwiches were surprisingly good and affordable. It's a nice place to settle in with some work or study. The atmosphere is welcoming and convenient, making it easy to see why it's a favorite for many. Though I've read some mixed reviews, my experience was positive, and I'll definitely be coming back for more of that tasty breakfast.

We tried Porch Restaurant for breakfast in West Jordan and loved it. The 3 Course Thursday deal was fantastic. We ordered the meatloaf and fried chicken, and both dishes were packed with rich, satisfying flavors. The desserts were the highlight—especially the carrot cake, which was the best we've ever tasted. The banana cream pie, though small, was full of delicious flavor. At $30 for three courses, it's a great value. The porch salad tasted good, but I found the arugula to topping ratio a bit off. Still, the meatloaf had an interesting twist, almost like a beef bourgogne version. The service was excellent, and while I'm not often in the South Jordan area, I'm glad I tried Porch. The food deserved a solid 4.5 stars for its fresh and tasty options. Service was a little slow, and the decor is quite plain, but the delicious food makes up for it. The location in the Daybreak area is lovely, with beautiful decorations and both indoor and outdoor dining options. While it is on the pricier side, it’s worth it for the quality of food. We tried the goat cheese pasta and seafood pasta on another occasion—both were delicious. With friendly service and great food, I would highly recommend Porch Restaurant.

First time trying out Waffle Love in West Jordan, and I'm very impressed! It's become our new favorite breakfast spot, even surpassing Chick-fil-A for us. I decided to go with the savory chicken and waffles, and everything was delicious and served hot. The portion was quite generous, so much so that I ended up sharing one of the two large chicken filets with my husband. He opted for the sweet side with the cinna-love, and he absolutely enjoyed it. Although we did have a small issue with the soda dispenser being a bit too enthusiastic, causing our drinks to spatter on our hands, the overall experience was fantastic. The croissant waffle alone is worth the visit. Pair it with fresh ingredients in various great combinations, and you simply can't go wrong. The service was excellent, even late on a Friday night, and I felt the staff deserved tips for their hard work. On a Thursday morning visit, the one girl working by herself made the best waffles we’ve ever had, and she definitely deserves a raise. However, during a visit two weeks later on a Saturday night, we were served a black, burnt waffle that was dry and lacked strawberries. I'd love to see some consistency in the quality of food. Despite that one-off experience, I thoroughly enjoyed the waffles overall. They were perfectly balanced, not too sweet or bland. While the chicken could use a bit more seasoning for my taste, it was neither soggy nor dry and was easy to chew. The staff was very nice and welcoming, making the whole experience quite delightful.

Visiting from England, I decided to try Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in West Jordan for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience. I had the chicken, ham, and cheese sandwich with honey mustard, and it was an absolute 10/10. My mum tried the vegetarian sandwich and was blown away by how amazing it was! The service was very impressive, with staff showing great kindness despite how busy it was. Even though my sandwich wasn't perfect when I got home, the rest of the food was phenomenal, especially the cakes. The French dip was decent, though I would suggest skipping the panini next time. Every time I'm in Utah, Kneaders is a must-visit for me. The food is consistently delicious, with a wide variety of amazing options. The service is top-notch; today, they even offered me a free cookie because my order took a little longer than usual. It's clear that they care about their customers, and I'm delighted to support such a great company. If you're a fan of Thanksgiving flavors, the cranberry turkey sandwich on a croissant is a must-try. Overall, a 5/5-star experience every time.

I appreciate that I wasn't pressured to tip for a simple transaction. The coffee was perfect, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, even offering me some half & half upon request. Inside, the atmosphere is nice, with comfortable large chairs at the front. Although seating is a bit limited, the cozy setup makes it a pleasant spot to enjoy breakfast. I love Black Bear Diner in West Jordan, especially for breakfast. The food is consistently good, and the value for the price is excellent. The portion sizes are generous, with pancakes as big as dinner plates. While they are a bit on the dry side, a glass of milk pairs perfectly with them. The staff is generally great and friendly. On my visits, they never rushed us, even when we came towards the end of a shift. One time, during a memorable graduation dinner for my niece, the staff made us feel welcome and celebrated. I've been here with my dad and sister, and our server, Maria, provided outstanding service each time. I love coming here, and despite some minor hiccups, it's a place I enjoy and appreciate.
