Moka’s Café definitely exceeded our expectations with their outstanding customer service. The coffee was excellent, and I loved the creative names on the menu. Although I haven’t tried their food yet, it looked absolutely delicious. There’s plenty of parking available outside, and they even have a convenient drive-thru. I love Mokas. It's probably my favorite coffee shop in Wichita. The prices are competitive. The service is always outstanding and they have good quality coffee. The atmosphere is also cozy and inviting. It's a great place to meet people or study. If you haven’t tried the peach mango refresher with lemonade, you’re missing out! It’s the perfect thing for summer and hot days! The drive-thru is always so fast and the avocado toast with bacon and a sunny side egg is a must! I highly recommend it, especially because they roast their own coffee. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. I sometimes even venture out from my usual and ask them to give me their favorites, and they do not disappoint!

I visited HomeGrown Wichita at Naftzger Park for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The seasonal lemon pop tart, or "pop'd heart" as they call it, was absolutely awesome. It had just the right balance of flavor—not too zesty, sour, or sweet—and the breading was perfect, neither dry nor hard. It’s such a great concept, and I wish I had the chance to try more of their offerings. I also ordered the West Coast omelette, which was delicious with creamy brie cheese, bacon, onions, and avocado. Normally, I don't like onions, but they were a great addition here. The cheesy grits were excellent too. I tried the blueberry pancake, which was good, though I think it would have been fine to stick with the English muffin instead. My server was amazing—super sweet and really helpful with recommendations. I travel a lot, and this is definitely one of the best spots I've been to. I can't wait to come back someday! I’ve been to several HomeGrown locations, and although they can be pricey, I expect a premium experience. I also tried their cheesecake, which was so rich I couldn't finish it, but it was still a delightful treat. We seated ourselves, and the waitress was friendly and quick to take our order. We tried the Hungry Woman, Junkyard Dog omelette, and a cinnamon roll. Let me tell you, the cinnamon roll was huge and delicious! My husband and I had to share it, and we still took half of it home. The omelette was packed with fillings and gigantic, while the biscuits and gravy were seasoned to perfection. The portions were so large we ended up taking three boxes home, a steal considering the prices. Highly recommend, especially for those dining alone, as they have single seating by the kitchen, and the staff is super friendly. The food selection is good, and the quality is impressive for "hospital food." While some items can be overpriced, like the biscuits with gravy and breakfast plates, the overall experience is quite positive. I found the portions to be generous, especially the vegetables from the hot area, which were more reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful, always making the visit pleasant. Although drink prices are high, opting for water can help keep the cost down. Despite some pricing concerns, the convenience and quality of the food make Cafe Down Under a solid choice for anyone at the hospital.

It's one of the few fast food places I'll eat at because it's family-owned, and they keep things exciting with new food and drink options. The staff is surprisingly friendly for a fast food chain. Once, I jokingly asked if they could add a shot of alcohol to my milkshake, and it sparked a fun conversation with everyone. Their steak burgers are a must-try. I'm a huge fan of the garlic butter burger, and their fries deserve a solid 10/10. They remind me of Checkers fries. The atmosphere at Spangles is nostalgic, making it a great spot to take the family. Even though there was a moment when the employees seemed a bit disinterested, the food more than made up for it. The western burger was fantastic—the sauce and onion rings were spot on. Pair it with ranch fries, and you've got the perfect meal. The customer service was excellent; I had a great conversation with the staff. The place was clean, and the service was quick. I didn't have to wait long at all. I'll definitely be going back when I'm in the mood for an amazing hamburger.

Very friendly people and a cool ambience! Spear's Restaurant & Pie Shop is a delightful spot for breakfast in Wichita. I originally came in for just a pie, and the staff were so welcoming. An elderly gentleman even gifted us a slice after hearing me talk about how my dad would love the place. The brunch buffet was great, with plenty of good food options. It would be nice if they included a drink with the brunch price, but everything from start to finish was enjoyable. I couldn’t resist trying the Thursday special of smothered steak. The steak, covered in flavorful mushroom gravy, was perfectly cooked and came with mashed potatoes—served piping hot and fresh. The crisp, cold salad was refreshing, although croutons would have been a nice touch. And of course, Thursday is Free Pie Day! I tried the Dutch apple pie, and it was delicious. This family restaurant is comfortable, clean, and has fast, friendly, and attentive service. Make sure to visit, and don’t leave without trying a piece of pie. See you next time!
